Communication, regardless of type, is an important part of the life and work of each individual. In addition, it is important for further growth and development for both the individual and the entire organization.During communication, there are often errors in the transfer of information, so it is necessary to work continuously to improve the quality of information. Also, important differences in communication can be noted when there is a change from regular to emergency situations. Responsible and empowered persons must ensure that communication is at a satisfactory level in order to eliminate the consequences, reduce material damage, human casualties and prevent further development of disasters.

A comparative study was made of the ways in which Australian universities are disseminating information about their courses over the World Wide Web. The study examined the quantity and quality of the information provided, the forms in which information is presented, and means of access to the information. The results of the survey indicated that while the majority of universities are now publishing at least some information over the World Wide Web, both the quantity and quality of information is variable. Implications for further development of institutional course information databases are discussed.

This study analyzed the relationship between humans as users of the system and application software as object an inseparable relationship. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of variable quality system to the perception of the quality system, the effect of perceived quality system and quality of information on the intensity of use and user satisfaction, and the influence of the intensity of use and user satisfaction of the impact of individual performance. This research is an empirical study using purposive sampling technique in data collection. Data were collected through  questionnaires to 39 BMT’s operational employees. Then, performed an analysis of the data obtained used path analysis. This included: testing hypotheses through path analysis. The results of tests performed using path analysis to get the results that each variable in the model of equation 4 had a coefficient with a positive direction. This means that the improvement of the quality of the system will be able to improve the quality of information for the individual impact of the use and satisfaction of employees through the use of the system.

The study aims to identify motivational factors that lead to collective intelligence and understand how these factors relate to each other and to innovation in enterprises. The study used the convenience sampling of corporate employees who use collective intelligence from corporate panel members (n = 1500). Collective intelligence was found to affect work process, operations, and service innovation. When corporate employees work in an environment where collective intelligence (CI) is highly developed, work procedures or efficiency may differ depending on the onset of CI. This raises the importance of CI within an organization and implies the importance of finding means to vitalize CI. This study provides significant implications for corporations utilizing collective intelligence services, such as online communities. Firstly, such corporations vitalize their services by raising the quality of information and knowledge shared in their workplaces; and secondly, contribution motivations that consider the characteristics of knowledge and information contributors require further development.

The paper is devoted to the description of the technical evolution of the MSU-GS equipment installed on spacecraft of the Elektro-L series. The MSU-GS equipment is designed for imaging the Earth from a geostationary orbit in the visible and infrared spectral ranges with a resolution of 1 to 4 km at intervals of up to 15 minutes. The problems identified during the operation of the equipment on the Elektro-L No. 2 spacecraft are described. The main problem was the insufficient cooling of infrared photodetectors. The operation of the passive system for radiation cooling of infrared radiation detectors is described in detail. The modernization of this system made it possible to reach the required photodetector temperature values on the Elektro-L No. 3 spacecraft. The main results of MSU-GS operation on the Elektro-L No. 3 spacecraft are presented. The modernization of the equipment made it possible to significantly improve the quality of information from infrared channels in comparison with the Elektro-L No. 2 spacecraft. Much attention is paid to assessing the possibility of improving the scanning efficiency. Possible future upgrades of the MSU-GS equipment and the Elektro-L series spacecraft can improve the full Earth disk coverage characteristic to up to 5 minutes, which exceeds the characteristics of best foreign counterparts.

Social and pedagogical support is a guarantee of effective solution of the basic problems of various socially disadvantaged groups. Orphans stand out among all categories, because the quality of their future life depends on quality of social support. The article presents the theoretical aspect of social and pedagogical support as a means of socialization of orphans. The conceptual provisions of social and pedagogical support in working with orphans are revealed. The understanding of the concepts of “help and support” is differentiated. The author emphasizes that orphans remain one of the most socially neglected and least socially protected communities in the country, and the orphan environment accumulates the most complex problems of social and psychological development of the individual. The terminological features of social and pedagogical support, their focus on the preventive and operational nature of assistance in solving problems related to social well-being, interpersonal communications, life and professional self-determination, the role of a social worker in this process are revealed. The aim of the study. The article is devoted to the study of the problem of social and pedagogical support of orphans. Research methods. The research methods used are the following: search of the available methodological and scientific literature with analysis of the found material, elucidation of causal relationships, systematization, abstraction and concretization, analysis of the results of researchers on the problem of the study. The work is based on the analysis of scientific and methodical literature, methodical manuals, scientific articles, periodicals and developments of modern and previous scientists and researchers in the field of social work. Result. The emphasis is placed on the relevance of further development of social and pedagogical support at the appropriate level and outlines promising areas of research in the medium term.

The emergence of the Internet is similar to the industrial revolution since it fundamentally changed the costs of transmitting information. However, low costs of transmitting information do not address the issue of the quality of information. One area of online commerce where quality of information became a crucial factor to the development and growth of the market place was the consumer-to-consumer commerce. Asymmetry of information emerged as a detrimental threat to the growth and development of consumer-to-consumer commerce and yet the market found an intuitive and creative way of addressing the issue: feedback and rating mechanisms. Perhaps the greatest example of this is the story of success of the largest consumer-to-consumer platform: eBay.

Standards, guidelines, and research findings suggest that safety signs should generally contain four components: signal word, hazard, consequence and instruction statements. The purpose of this research is to determine the relative importance of different safety sign components. Two experiments examined this issue by having subjects construct a set of warning signs from component sections. In Experiment 1, participants manipulated component sections and assembled them onto a metal plate (of limited size). In Experiment 2, subjects worked with a technician to produce the signs on a computer. The relative importance of the individual components was determined by examining (1) use vs. omission rates, (2) size, and (3) order. The results show that few subjects used all the components in their warnings. Participants enlarged certain statements (Experiment 1) or added pictorials (Experiment 2) which necessitated the omission of other, presumably less-important, elements. The order of sign components was consistent only for signal words, which were placed generally at the top. The results suggest that, for certain hazards, the overall quality of information conveyed by a sign might be improved by eliminating or making smaller less important information, while simultaneously increasing the size of more relevant verbal information (or adding pictorials).
