The paper is devoted to the description of the technical evolution of the MSU-GS equipment installed on spacecraft of the Elektro-L series. The MSU-GS equipment is designed for imaging the Earth from a geostationary orbit in the visible and infrared spectral ranges with a resolution of 1 to 4 km at intervals of up to 15 minutes. The problems identified during the operation of the equipment on the Elektro-L No. 2 spacecraft are described. The main problem was the insufficient cooling of infrared photodetectors. The operation of the passive system for radiation cooling of infrared radiation detectors is described in detail. The modernization of this system made it possible to reach the required photodetector temperature values on the Elektro-L No. 3 spacecraft. The main results of MSU-GS operation on the Elektro-L No. 3 spacecraft are presented. The modernization of the equipment made it possible to significantly improve the quality of information from infrared channels in comparison with the Elektro-L No. 2 spacecraft. Much attention is paid to assessing the possibility of improving the scanning efficiency. Possible future upgrades of the MSU-GS equipment and the Elektro-L series spacecraft can improve the full Earth disk coverage characteristic to up to 5 minutes, which exceeds the characteristics of best foreign counterparts.

The study aims to identify motivational factors that lead to collective intelligence and understand how these factors relate to each other and to innovation in enterprises. The study used the convenience sampling of corporate employees who use collective intelligence from corporate panel members (n = 1500). Collective intelligence was found to affect work process, operations, and service innovation. When corporate employees work in an environment where collective intelligence (CI) is highly developed, work procedures or efficiency may differ depending on the onset of CI. This raises the importance of CI within an organization and implies the importance of finding means to vitalize CI. This study provides significant implications for corporations utilizing collective intelligence services, such as online communities. Firstly, such corporations vitalize their services by raising the quality of information and knowledge shared in their workplaces; and secondly, contribution motivations that consider the characteristics of knowledge and information contributors require further development.

Abstract Background: Environmental communication has been studied in academia and journalism since the 70s, both in Colombia and in Spain, as it coincides with the divulgation of the report ‘Limits to the Growth of Rome’s Club and the Earth Summit in Stockholm in the same year. Since then, this type of journalism has attempted to move towards the quality of information, thanks to academic studies at universities and research centers. Objective: This paper aims to establish comparative equivalences between El Espectador of Colombia and El Pais in Spain, the newspapers chosen for the sample, in order to know the weaknesses and strengths on the environmental content in both newspapers. Method: Content analysis method was used, with a quantitative approach, such that allows to identify the importance, quality, frequency and way of exposure given to the information and opinion related to environment. A weekly basis composed systematic random sample from 2009 and 2010 was utilized, in order to have a broad representation of these environmental contents published on each of the months of those two years. Results: Similarities and important differences in the two media are shown. The similarities relate to the use of news as the main journalistic genre, the non-presence of sensationalism in the pieces of news, poor identification of those responsible for the lack of environmental consciousness and dependence on government sources. Conclusion: In both cases, it is necessary that directors and journalists adopt a more critical and committed role for the readers to have quality information that motivates them to adopt environmentally sustainable life styles.Palabras clave: Análisis de Contenido, Divulgación Científica, Medio Ambiente, Periódicos, Periodismo Especializado.

Communication, regardless of type, is an important part of the life and work of each individual. In addition, it is important for further growth and development for both the individual and the entire organization.During communication, there are often errors in the transfer of information, so it is necessary to work continuously to improve the quality of information. Also, important differences in communication can be noted when there is a change from regular to emergency situations. Responsible and empowered persons must ensure that communication is at a satisfactory level in order to eliminate the consequences, reduce material damage, human casualties and prevent further development of disasters.

This article introduces Cognitive Health Counseling 40+ (CH.CO40+), an individualized intervention that is conceptually based on the orchestration model of quality-of-life management ( Martin & Kliegel, 2010 ) and aims at improving satisfaction with cognitive health in adults aged 40 years and older. We describe the theoretically deduced characteristics of CH.CO40+, its target group, its multifactorial nature, its individualization, the application of subjective and objective measures, the role of participants as agents of change, and the rationale for choosing participants’ satisfaction with their cognitive health as main outcome variable. A pilot phase with 15 middle-aged and six older adults suggests that CH.CO40+ attracts, and may be particularly suitable for, subjective memory complainers. Implications of the pilot data for the further development of the intervention are discussed.

In some cases, the processes of piercing or expanding pipe blanks involve the use of high-frequency active vibrations. However, due to insufficient knowledge, these processes are not widely used in the practice of seamless pipes production. In particular, the problems of increasing the efficiency of the processes of piercing or expanding a pipe blank at a piercing press using high-frequency vibrations are being solved without proper research and, as a rule, by experiments. The elaboration of modern technological processes for the production of seamless pipes using high-frequency vibrations is directly related to the choice of rational modes of metal deformation and the prediction resistance indicators of technological tools and the reliability of equipment operation. The creation of a mathematical model of the process of vibrating piercing (expansion) of an axisymmetric pipe blank at a piercing press of a pipe press facility is an actual task. A calculation scheme for the process of piercing a pipe plank has been elaborated. A dependence was obtained characterizing the speed of front of plastic deformation propagation on the speed of penetration of a vibrated axisymmetric mandrel into the pipe workpiece being pierced. The dynamic characteristics of the occurrence of wave phenomena in the metal being pierced under the influence of a vibrated tool have been determined, which significantly complements the previously known ideas about the stress-strain state of the metal in the deformation zone. The deformation fields in the zones of the disturbed region of the deformation zone were established, taking into account the high-frequency vibrations of the technological tool. It has been established that the choice of rational parameters (amplitude-frequency characteristics) of the vibration piercing process of a pipe blank results in significant increase in the efficiency of the process, the durability of the technological tool and the quality of the pierced blanks.

This article aims to explain maqâṣid al-Qur’ân according to M. Quraish Shihab and its application in interpreting verses related to the use of social media. The problem that will be answered in this article covers two main issues, namely how the perspective of maqâṣid al-Qur’ân according to M. Quraish Shihab and how it is applied in interpreting the verses of the use of social media. The method used is the thematic method, namely discussing verses based on themes. Fr om this study the authors concluded that according to M. Quraish Shihab there are six elements of a large group of universal goals of the al-Qur’ân, namely strengthening the faith, humans as caliphs, unifying books, law enforcement, callers to the ummah of wasathan, and mastering world civilization. The quality of information lies in the strength of the monotheistic dimension which is the highest peak of the Qur’anic maqâṣid. M. Quraish Shihab offers six diction which can be done by recipients of information in interacting on social media. Thus, it aims to usher in the knowledge and understanding of what is conveyed in carrying out human mission as caliph, enlightenment through oral and written, law enforcement, unifying mankind and the universe to the ummah of wasathan, and mastery of world civilization

The purpose of this article is to present the correlation between management of an economic entity and the development of ethical accounting dilemmas in the era of high-risk business. In the globalisation era and recurring economic crises, realisation of the objectives of a company takes place under high risk conditions. It is therefore necessary to use a proper management system. The necessary condition for making all decisions is to have relevant information. The value and relevance of these decisions depend on the quality of information which they have been based on. Lack of ethics in accounting has a direct impact on the company's management, which is based on information generated by the accounting system of the company. Ethical dilemmas arising in accounting are also ethical dilemmas arising in the process of business management.
