The phenomenon of marriage at a young age is increasing in Tulungagung. Teenagers who decide to marry young will experience some negative impacts, especially if they are not accompanied with a mature emotional state. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between emotional maturity and marital adjustment in young marriages. This study uses quantitative methods. Subjects are selected using purposive sampling technique with the criteria of couples who married when their age is less than 21 years old, with a marriage age of 1-5 years in Tulungagung Regency. This study obtained as many as 83 respondents. This study collected data using a scale of emotional maturity and marriage adjustment through google form and then analyzed using the correlation product moment formula. The results showed the value of r = 0.534 (p <0.05) which means that there is a positive relationship between emotional maturity and marital adjustment. The higher the emotional maturity, the higher the marital adjustment. Vice versa, if emotional maturity is low, marital adjustment will also be low.   Keywords: Early age marriages, emotional maturity, marital adjustment

This study aims to examine the relationship between loneliness and selfie-liking. The hypothesis of this research is that there is a positive relationship between loneliness and selfie-liking among college students. This research used correlational quantitative methods. Participants in this research was 64 students, which was taken by purposive sampling technique, with inclusive criteria: like to do selfie and in the last month post the selfie photos to social media as much as 4-6 times. Data were collected using the Loneliness Scale from UCLA Version 3 and selfie-liking measured by Selfie-Liking Scale.  The correlation was analyzed using the Spearman Correlation Test with SPSS 23 for Windows. The results showed there was a positive and significant relationship between loneliness and self-liking (r=.297; p=.009) which means the higher loneliness, the higher selfie-liking.

ABSTRACT: RELATIONSHIP OF NEED OF AFFILIATION WITH PROSOCIAL BEHAVIOR IN ADOLESCENTS Prosocial behavior is an act that is given sincerely to help someone. This present study examines the relationship between affiliation needs and prosocial behavior in adolescents. This research uses quantitative methods with a correlational design. Accidental sampling technique was used for sampling. The participants in this study were 100 adolescents aged 12-22 years in Pekanbaru, Riau. The scale of affiliation needs adapted from Minanti (2017) and prosocial behavior adapted from Anzala (2018) were used as data collection methods. The data analysis in this study used Pearson product moment correlation and was assisted by the SPSS 16.0 for windows program. The results showed that there is a significant positive relationship between the need for affiliation and prosocial behavior in adolescents in Pekanbaru City. Thus, it can be concluded that the need for affiliation associated with prosocial behavior. Keywords: Need of Affiliation, Prosocial Behavior, Adolescents Perilaku prososial ialah tindakan yang diberikan secara tulus untuk membantu seseorang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kebutuhan afiliasi dengan perilaku prososial pada remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Teknik accidental sampling digunakan untuk pengambilan sampel. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 100 remaja berusia 12-22 tahun yang berada di Kota Pekanbaru, Riau. Skala kebutuhan afiliasi yang diadaptasi dari Minanti (2017) dan perilaku prososial yang diadaptasi dari Anzala (2018) digunakan sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan korelasi Pearson product moment dan dibantu oleh program SPSS 16.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara kebutuhan afiliasi dan perilaku prososial pada remaja di Kota Pekanbaru. Dengan demikian, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa kebutuhan afiliasi berkaitan dengan perilaku prososial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara kebutuhan afiliasi dan perilaku prososial pada remaja di Kota Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara persepsi terhadap kebisingan dengan stres karyawan PT. PLN (Persero) PLTU Sektor Asam Asam. Subjek penelitian ini adalah karyawan / pekerja lapangan bagian operator mesin pada PT. PLN (Persero) PLTU Sektor Asam Asam, dengan kriteria karyawan / pekerja yang berjenis kelamin pria. Jumlah subjek penelitian sebanyak 40 orang. Subjek dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive random sampling. Subjek penelitian berusia 20 tahun sampai dengan 50 tahun. Tingkat pendidikan subjek penelitian adalah STM Mesin berjumlah 14 orang, STM Listrik berjumlah 9 orang, D1 Mesin berjumlah 3 orang, D1 Listrik berjumlah 8 orang, D3 Mesin berjumlah 4 orang dan S1 Tehnik Mesin berjumlah 2 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah Kuesioner untuk mengukur Persepsi Terhadap Kebisingan dan Skala untuk mengukur Stres. Sebelum digunakan instrumen-instrumen ini diujicoba terlebih dahulu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa koefisien korelasi Persepsi Terhadap Kebisingan dengan Stres adalah ( r = 0,482 dengan p = 0,003 (p < 0,01) ). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan positif antara persepsi terhadap kebisingan dengan stres karyawan PT. PLN (Persero) PLTU Sektor Asam Asam diterima. Jadi, semakin tinggi persepsi terhadap kebisingan, maka semakin tinggi pula tingkat stres, dan semakin rendah tingkat persepsi terhadap kebisingan, maka semakin rendah pula tingkat stres.  Kata kunci : Persepsi terhadap kebisingan, stress This study aims to determine the relationship between perceptions of noise with the stress of employees PT. PLN (Persero) PLTU Sektor Asam Asam. The subject of this study were employees / workers in the field of machine operators PT. PLN (Persero) PLTU Sektor Asam Asam, the criteria of employees / workers who are male. The number of subjects is 40 people. Subjects were selected using purposive random sampling technique. Subjects aged 20 years to 50 years. The subjects education level is STM Machine totaled 14 people, STM Electrical totaled 9 people, D1 Machine totaled 3 people, D1 Electrical totaled 8 people, D3 Machine totaled 4 people and S1 Techniques Machine totaled 2 people. Instruments used in data collection are questionnaires to measure Perception of noise and Scale to measure stress. Prior to use these instruments are tested first. The results showed that the correlation coefficient Perceptions of noise with the Stress is ( r = 0.482 with p = 0.003 (p <0.01) ). This suggests that there is a positive relationship between perceptions of noise with the stress of employees PT. PLN (Persero) PLTU Sektor Asam Asam be accepted. Thus, the higher the perception of noise, the higher the stress level, and the lower the perceived level of noise, then the lower the stress level. Key words : The perception of noise, stress

The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an effect of compensation on job satisfaction mediated by job satisfaction. The object of research at PT ISS Cikarang. The research was conducted using quantitative methods with SEM Smart PLS software as an analysis tool. The number of samples obtained by using a random sampling technique using the Slovin formula totaled 97 respondents. Data collection was carried out using google form in filling out online surveys. The data analysis method used is the R-square test, Bootstrapping, Path Coefficient, and Specific indirect effects. The results of this study indicate that compensation has an effect on employee performance, compensation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, job satisfaction affects employee performance, job satisfaction is able to provide a positive influence in mediating the relationship between compensation and employee performance in PT ISS Cikarang.

Adolescence is a unique time in the phase of teenage life, where a person who has entered adolescence has a unique characteristic. With these distinctive characters, teenagers are required to be able to adjust well to the surrounding individuals. However, not all teenagers have a good adjustment. This has become one of the obstacles in the lives of teenagers to lead a healthy life. One other obstacle is the problem of emotional maturity, because there are still many teenagers who do not have good emotional maturity. This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional maturity and adjustment at SMPN 19 Surabaya. The study population was all students of class VIII, totaling 261 people and a sample of 106 students. The sampling technique used in this study is non random sampling with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires arranged on a Likert scale. The study showed very significant results, where the value of r = 0.809 with p = 0.000 (p <0.010). This means that the proposed hypothesis is accepted. Emotional maturity has a very significant relationship with adapting to adolescents at SMPN 19 Surabaya

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to examine empirically the effect of transformational leadership on followers’ inventiveness and organizational innovation. It studies transformational leadership and innovation at the organizational level and creativity at the individual level. Design/methodology/approach A theoretical model was created, which entailed the development of variables and hypotheses. A survey instrument was used to obtain data, through a self-completion questionnaire. The final sample was made up of 503 individuals, recruited using a random sampling technique. Findings The results showed that transformational leadership has a significant positive relationship with both followers’ creativity and organizational innovation. Furthermore, a significant positive relationship was found between followers’ creativity and organizational innovation. In addition, the relationship between transformational leadership and followers’ creativity, through the mediating role of employees’ psychological empowerment, support for innovation, workplace relationships and employee learning, was also found to be both positive and significant. However, the data showed that intrinsic motivation does not significantly affect the relationship between transformational leadership and creativity. Practical implications The study provides guidance to organizations that need to change their leadership style and approach, as well as their innovation and creativity mechanisms, at a strategic level. The resulting guidance provides organizations with insight into how they can improve the creativity of their employees through motivating, supporting and inspiring them. Originality/value This study is an attempt to illustrate the extent to which transformational leadership can affect organizational innovation in Saudi Arabia, specifically in the public sector, and to explore how employees’ creativity can be improved. This research is beneficial for academics, organizations and policy makers, especially in the Gulf countries.

Purpose This study aims to ascertain the relationship between trustworthiness and students’ attitudes toward knowledge sharing. Design/methodology/approach For this study, the authors used the survey research design technique. Data were collected from students pursuing a degree in Business and Administration. Convenience sampling technique was used to select the participants. A total of 400 students participated in the study. Multiple linear regression was used to analyze the data. Findings The results show that trustworthiness, integrity, benevolence and ability have a positive relationship with students’ attitudes toward knowledge sharing. Originality/value Studies investigating the relationship between trustworthiness and students’ attitudes toward knowledge sharing is rare, especially in Ghana.

The purpose of this study was to assess the relationship between parents’ attitude towards their children’s education and level of students’ discipline in public secondary schools in Naivasha sub-county, Kenya. The study targeted a total of 197 respondents (constituting 28 head teachers and 169 teachers). A total of 195 respondents participated in the study (169 teachers and 26 principals) participated giving a response rate of 99%. Purposive sampling technique was used to sample head teachers while Krejcie and Morgan’s (1970) table for determining sample size for teachers. Questionnaires were used as instrument for data collection. SPSS was used to analyze the data where both descriptive and inferential statistics were used. The analyzed data were presented in terms of graphs and tables. The results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between parents’ attitude towards child’s education and students’ discipline (r = .399, p = .000). Therefore, the null hypothesis that there was no significant relationship between parents’ attitude towards child’s education and students’ discipline was rejected at .05 level of confidence. The study therefore concluded that parents’ attitude towards child’s education influences students’ discipline in secondary schools in Naivasha sub-county. It was recommended that parents’ should have more positive attitude towards a child’s education. This can be realized through monitoring the academic performance of their children and taking keen concern on decline on the performance by engaging teachers.

Spiritual intelligence is closely related to how a person maintains the principles and responsibilities to carry out these principles while maintaining balance and creating appropriate value benefits. A person is not called spiritually intelligent, if he only cares about the hereafter but blinds himself to his mission in the world to Allah. Fair is a word that is quite difficult to describe, the meaning of fair is associated with law or something that is inherent in the rights of each individual. Fair is human values ​​and a pillar for aspects of life, both individuals, families and communities. The objectives of this study were: 1) to determine the spiritual intelligence of students at SMP Rahman Wahid Mojogeneng 2) to determine the fair attitude of students at SMP Rahman Wahid Mojogeneng 3) to test empirically the relationship between spiritual intelligence and fair attitude of students at SMP Rahman Wahid Mojogeneng. This research is a quantitative study with a correlation approach. The research population used was all students of SMP Rahman Wahid Mojogeneng. Sampling with stratified sampling technique was taken 34 students as respondents. Data collection using questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The results showed: 1) The spiritual intelligence of students at SMP Rahman Wahid Mojogeneng was generally in the high category with an average score of 36 because it was between the criteria for a score of 31 ≤ 40.2) The fair attitude of students at SMP Rahman Wahid Mojogeneng was generally included in moderate category with an average score of 37 because it is between the interval 31 ≤ 40. 3) There is a significant positive relationship between spiritual intelligence and fairness of students at SMP Rahman Wahid Mojogeneng with a correlation value of 0.618. The result of the correlation shows the level of correlation is strong with interpretation 0.610-0.800.

Introduction: Marital adjustment is gaining increasing concern in the modern society. Marital adjustment is a process during which partners in a marriage change and adapt to their new roles accompanying each other acting as a team different to two separate units. Levels of empathy and levels of forgiveness could be factors in determining a relationship with marital adjustment. Marital adjustment is an important predictor and factors like empathy and forgiveness that enhance the marital quality and marital satisfaction in a marriage can be studied as mediators of marital adjustment. High levels of empathy will have a positive relationship with marital adjustment. High levels of forgiveness will have a positive relationship with marital adjustment. Focusing on forgiveness and empathy as having a positive relationship with marital adjustment, it can be said the ability to forgive a partner and the willingness to grant forgiveness is on of the most important contributors to marital adjustment. Empathy between couples means having the ability to feel and understand the thoughts and emotions of the other partner. Having the ability to listen to and relating to the partner’s feelings is very important and this has a great impact on how the relationship works thereby affecting the levels of adjustment. Methods: The current study aimed at studying the relationship between empathy, forgiveness and marital adjustment in couples. The study was conducted on 80 married individuals, i.e, 40 married males and40 married females. It was hypothesized that higher levels of forgiveness would have a positive relationship with marital adjustment; higher levels of empathy would have a positive relationship with marital adjustment. It was also hypothesized that there would be significant gender differences in regard of forgiveness and empathy between couples. Results & Implications: The study reported that higher levels of empathy have a positive relationship with marital adjustment. On the dimensions of forgiveness also the study reported a positive relationship between forgiveness and marital adjustment. There were significant gender differences between males and females on the domains of empathy and forgiveness in a marital relationship. The study provides an opportunity for further research across age and gender to uncover the possible differences or similarities that may be present. Also it adds to the already existing data pool with equivocal studies.
