The ability to determine learning resources/media/teaching aids is an indicator of pedagogical competence that must be possessed by every educator. There are teachers in the implementation of teaching and learning are still lacking in developing media. This quantitative research has two variables, namely the independent variable (X) and the dependent variable is (Y), to find the effect of variable X on the variable Y the author uses a simple linear regression test. The population in this study were certification teachers at West Aceh Junior High School. The data collection techniques of this study, to see the Pedagogical competence of teachers using interview techniques, while to see the effect of certification on the pedagogical competence of teachers using a questionnaire technique. The results of this study The teacher utilizes information and communication technology for the benefit of organizing learning activities that educate, how to facilitate the development of potential learners to actualize the various potentials they have, and how to evaluate learning by giving tests directly both in writing and orally at the end of each meeting. Based on the calculation of the results of data analysis, there is a relationship/correlation between teacher certification and teacher pedagogical competence, while the direction of correlation is positive between teacher certification and teacher pedagogical competence.

Recount text is one of the texts in writing which must be taught and stated in Junior High School curriculum. Some students felt that reading text is boring because the students tend to be very lazy to read the text, so that they are not interested in English lessons. The researchers used group investigation technique as one of alternatives in teaching and learning to develop the material and make students more active and interested in class. The objective of this research is to find out whether teaching using group investigation technique is able to develop the students’ reading in recount text at the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 17 Kota Serang. The methodology of this research was a quantitative research method by using true experimental design. The study was carried out into two classes, Class VIII E as experimental class, and Class VIII C as control class. The results of the study showed that group investigation was able to develop students’ reading comprehension in recount text. Mean of posttest score of the experimental class (67.31) was higher than the control class (64.18). Based on the statistical analysis using t-test analysis, it showed the value of tcount ≥ ttable = 49.12 ≥ 1.99. It means that (Ha) was accepted and the (H0) was rejected. It can be concluded that group investigation is able to develop students’ reading comprehension in recount text at eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 17 Kota Serang.

Australia has vitally identified the benefits of innovation in past few years. The Country is ranked among the top nations in OECD. They are currently working on developing the infrastructure of Research and Development sector of the Country as well as reinforced themselves in developing their Information and Communication technology. Thus, the Country has identified the importance of innovation and how its components can help in achieving increased economic growth. Innovation is the inventive or new ways a company or country adopt to carry out its processes in a more efficient manner.The incorporation of innovation in the processes of economic development through production or other ways lead to higher profitability and broader use of the available resources in an efficient and advanced way. Thus, the purpose of the following research is to analyze innovation as an economic driving force in Australia. For the fulfillment of this purpose, the researcher carried out a quantitative research under which 5-points Likert scale was designed that include questions relating to the various identified components of innovation as the independent variable and economic growth as the dependent variable. The survey was circulated among 219 executives that are working in different sectors of Australia to understand their opinion. The results through multi-regression model depicted that innovation and technology have a significant impact on the growth of Australian economy.

This study aims to analyze the effect of used material media on fine motor skills of early childhood. This research uses quantitative research. The sample of this study were 15 children aged 5-6 years in class B PAUD Al Hikmah, with a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used an observation sheet in the form of an assessment rubric. The data analysis technique used a simple linear regression test. The results of this study concluded that there was an effect of used material media on fine motor skills of early childhood in PAUD Al Hikmah.

This study aims to determine whether there is a significant influence between monetary operations on inflation in Indonesia. This research was also conducted to find out how monetary policy in Indonesia resolves the inflationary problems that occur. The independent variable in this study is monetary operations. Monetary operations in this study include conventional and sharia monetary operations. The dependent variable in this study is inflation. The research design used is quantitative research design using simple linear regression analysis techniques supported by the classical assumption test and statistical test with the help of SPSS v22 program. The sample of this study was monetary operations and Inflation from January 2017 to Mei 2020. The result of this research showed that the data are normally distributed, and free from multicollinearity. Then this research also shows that monetary operations have significant effect on inflation. Based on the research that has been carried out, it is known that this research is very important to be carried out as a reference for the government in solving the problem of inflation in Indonesia, considering that monetary operations are policies issued by the government in minimizing inflation.

The purpose of this study is to empirically prove the effect of education costs, interest and motivation on the choice of accounting majors. This research was conducted on accounting students at Pemabangunan Panca Budi University, Medan. This research uses associative quantitative research. The data analysis technique used is the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test, and the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square). The basis for sampling in this study using saturated samples (census) with a total sample of 300 respondents. The results of this study indicate that partially the cost of education interest and motivation have a significant effect on the choice of accounting department. This can be seen in the results of the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square), which means that the variability of the dependent variable which can be explained by the independent variable is 65,3%. While the remaining 34,y% is explained by other variables that are not included in the regression model.

In tandem with the advancement of technology in the education field, the usage of software in Mathematics teaching and learning is prevalent among teachers to improve students’ achievement. The research was carried out to identify students’ perception towards Mathematical software based learning features and aspects of the software which help and hinder students’ learning process. This quantitative research used survey design. The questionnaire instrument used consisted of 46 items with Five Points Likert Scale of Agreement Level. This research involved 36 Form Four students who were randomly selected from seven classses in a secondary school in Selangor. Data were analysed descriptively. It was found that the students’ perception towards learning features based on Mathematical software was at moderate level. Th learning features which recorded the highest mean score are students’ autonomy with the score of 3.89 followed by interaction in software based learning with mean score of 3.62, learning structure with mean score of 3.21 and the lowest was 3.20 for delivery system feature. Students’ perception towards the aspects in Mathematical software which help the teaching and learning process namely participation in class, students’ mindset change, and test achievement shows moderate level with mean score of 3.39 whereas the aspects which hinder the Mathematical software based teaching and learning process such as the factors of time, understanding, learning practice, and computer sharing were also at moderate level with mean score of 3.40. Mathematical software based learning serves as the best and most effective teaching and learning approach as well as utilising information and communication technology (ICT) facility in line with Malaysian Education Blueprint 2013-2025.

The purpose of this study is to determine the interaction between learning process and early mathematical ability towards the enhancement of mathematical disposition ability, and for knowing the enhancement of student's mathematical disposition ability who achieved Chalk Talk method with CTL approach compared conventional learning. The type of this research is quasi-experiment with non-equivalent control group design. The independent variable of this study is Chalk Talk with CTL and early mathematical ability. The dependent variable of this study is mathematical disposition ability. The sample of this study is the student from SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Depok grade VIII, then VIII B and C as the sample. The instrument use scale of mathematical disposition ability and activity note. The data analysis using ANOVA 2 tail technic (significance 5%). The results of this study indicate that there is no interaction between learning and early mathematical ability on enhancing mathematical disposition ability of student, and the enhancement of student's mathematical disposition ability that received Chalk Talk with CTL was not better than student who received conventional learning

Japanese language course registered as either compulsory elective or free elective foreign language course at University Putra Malaysia (UPM). The Japanese language is the most popular among 11 foreign language courses offered for foreign language students who wish to take global languages proficiency courses. However, their achievements in the course are inadequate as most of them are incompetent in communication skills upon completion of the course. Therefore, this article aims to identify the perception of Japanese language students in UPM to enhance their understanding of the issue. This quantitative research applies questionnaires and random purposive sampling techniques as instruments for collecting data. The sampling consists of 84 students who had enrolled in Basic Japanese level 1course. The findings show there are significant factors attribute to students’ preference for learning the Basic Japanese language. The result of the study also indicated the Kana writing and numbers are easier to acquire compared to vocabulary, sentences, grammar, and particles in the Basic Japanese 1 course. The study also revealed that mastering vocabulary plays a vital role in speaking, reading, and writing well in the Japanese language. Therefore, this study suggests that the instructor should include more engaging activities, teaching aids, and tools in the classroom to make the teaching and learning process more conducive and friendly for the students to excel in this course.

The purposes of this research are (1) Knowing the effect of learning motivation on the learning independence of students in the Package C Equivalence Program in; (2) Knowing the effect of learning motivation on student learning outcomes of the Package C Equivalence Program students. This research uses quantitative research with correlational methods. The number of research samples was 120 students. There are two variables in this research, namely the independent variable and the dependent variable. The independent variable is the treatment of this study, namely learning motivation. The dependent variable is learning independence and learning outcomes. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires and tests. Questionnaires are used to determine the results of learning motivation and learning independence, while tests are used to determine learning outcomes. Hypothesis test data analysis technique is simple linear regression analysis. The results and analysis of research data were obtained as follows: (1) There was an effect of learning motivation on the learning independence of students in the Package C Equality Program.

This study aims to determine the effect of facilities and infrastructure management on teaching and learning activities at the kindergarten Al-Fadlillah Maguwoharjo Yogyakarta. This research uses a quantitative approach eith a correlational analysis method. Data analysis was performed with a simple linear regression test to determine the effect between facilities and infrastructure management variables (X) and the variables of teaching and learning activities (Y). The results showed a significance value 0,001 smaller than 0,05, which means that there is a significant influence between the management of facilities and infrastructure with teaching and learning activities at the kindergarten Al-Fadlillah Maguwoharjo Yogyakarta. The coefficient value between the two variables is 0,863 or 83,6%. These results, indicate the management of facilities and infrastructure have a positive and significant influence on teching and learning activities by 83,6%. While 16,4% is influenced by other factors, such as the child’s basic abilities, physical and psychological condition of the child, and childrens learning motivation. So, the implementation of structured and controlllled facilities and infrastructure management will support quality improvement in the process of teaching and learning activities at the kindergarten Al-Fadlillah Maguwoharjo Yogyakarta.
