ABSTRACTCurrently, many families are confused with educational problems as a result of Covid-19, because the family is the first and foremost institution in educating, protecting and nurturing their children in accordance with family values, religious values, so it can be said that the family is a milestone. children's first in knowing the world. The principle of education policy during the Covid-19 pandemic is to prioritize the health and safety of students, educators, education staff, families, and society in general, as well as considering the growth and development of students and psychosocial conditions in an effort to fulfill educational services during the Covid-19 pandemic. The government has issued various policies and initiatives to deal with learning obstacles during the Covid-19 pandemic, such as the revision of the Joint Decree (SKB) of the Four Ministers which was issued on August 7, 2020, to adjust learning policies in the current pandemic era. In addition, schools are given the flexibility to choose a curriculum that suits the learning needs of students during the pandemic, as stipulated in the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture regarding the curriculum during an emergency. In connection with the above phenomenon, parents in Garot Cut Village who are too busy with their work pay less attention and lack of understanding in playing their role in children's education, so that parents think that the role of education is more for teachers in schools than their parents. Based on the evaluation and simulation on training from community service activities, it can be seen that with the training, the role of parents in creating the use of the internet for education is still very rarely done. . In addition, the service program presented adds insight for parents how the role of parents and teachers in building children's habits to use the internet for learning has not been carried out. The role of parents and teachers is very important, because they are people who deal directly with children in the family environment and teacher schools.

The use of gadgets today has become a major requirement for everyone. In the present, many children are using gadget since childhood especially to watch videos on youtube, play online games, and search for learning materials through the help of the internet. This can be a good step so that children easily adapt to technological developments. But on the other hand, parents must worry if children play gadgets too often and access things that are not age-appropriate, which is not necessarily suitable for their age. It is important for parents to monitor the use of gadgets in children. The role of parents and teachers in dealing with this situation, they must have the ability to monitor and control the use of the internet by parental control applications. It is able to select, limit, and supervise what applications can be accessed by children and adolescents so they can still use gadgets as a learning and entertainment medium without having to be addicted and poisoned by negative content.

Within today’s families, there is a growing relevance of children’s Internet use as an important and conflictual educational issue, especially during early and middle adolescence. The family climate can be seen as a sensor on how well families handle such Internet-related conflicts. We extended prior research by investigating the role Internet parenting plays for the perceived family climate of 952 nuclear families using a multiactor design. Moreover, we examined whether families’ educational background moderates the expected association between Internet parenting and family climate. The results confirmed that mothers and fathers with higher parenting confidence more often co-used the Internet with their child, which was found to positively influence the family climate. With regard to the education background, we found that the parental co-use of the Internet was a significant mediator, especially for middle- and lower educated fathers. Overall, the findings underline the relevance of parent–child shared Internet activities as a positive resource of family life.

Kata Kunci: Moral, Peran Orang Tua Moral development in childhood is still in a low level.
