Students in today’s mixed ability classrooms come from diverse backgrounds with needs. In such a scenario, differentiated instructions are of prime importance for teachers to deal with in mixed ability classrooms. The teaching experiences and academic life mould perceptions of teachers which effects their teaching style; therefore, it is important to know teachers’ beliefs and perceptions regarding teaching in a mixed ability classroom at middle school level so as to guide educators and heads inside and outside the institution. For this study, quantitative research method was used to explore and understand the beliefs and perceptions of the teachers of middle schools regarding implementing differentiated instructions. The sample size included 120 teachers who were sent a survey questionnaire through online Google form and was constructed by customizing the questionnaire from Ballone and Czerniak (2001). The analysis of quantitative inquiry revealed that there is a positive association between teachers’ beliefs about their intentions and stakeholders’ expectations to implement differentiated instruction. It was highlighted that all stakeholders wanted teachers to implement differentiated strategies; however, the teachers were found to be short of planning and instructional time for differentiation.

The purpose of this research was to explore the effect of empowerment and teachers’ job commitment. The effect of empowerment and teachers’ job commitment in Malaysia not only expected and regarded as important in enhancing knowledge but also to be responsible for molding and shaping an excellent student. This research was conducted in Selangor using the quantitative research method. The total respondents of this study are 120 teachers, who teach in secondary school in Selangor. The survey questionnaire was used as the main tool for data collecting. The results of the analysis show that there is a significant relationship between the effects of empowerment and teachers’ job commitment (r=. 396, p<.05).

Patronage is one of the major problems facing zakat institutions in Nigeria. This study aims to analyze the increased zakat collection by examining which factor can encourage patronage of zakat institution in order to increase zakat collection for proper care of destitute in the state and help zakat managers to understand why they should encourage zakat payers with their behavior to be honest and trusted to manage the Muslims wealth. The quantitative research method was applied, a survey questionnaire was conducted among zakat payers, and potential zakat payers in Kwara state and a total of 314 completed survey questionnaires were collected and subjected to structural equation modeling. This study results revealed that attitude and subjective norms influence the zakat payers’ intention to patronize the zakat institution in Kwara state, Nigeria. This research concluded that attitude and subjective norms have positive effects on the intention of zakat payers to patronize zakat institutions in Kwara State.

The aim of the study was to examine the the association between print media agenda and policy agenda (State and NGOs) and its impact on the foreign policy of Pakistan with USA from 2015 till 2017 on categorized issues. Data is collected from DAWN and The News International of Pakistan. Quantitative research method was adopted and content of newspapers and policy documents (State and NGOs) was analyzed to find out the coverage, rank order, frame, slant and association between print media agenda and policy agenda (State and NGOs) regarding Pak-US relations issues. Findings revealed that print media agenda and state policy agenda are associated (rs =+.362) having moderate positive association and print media agenda and non-government policy agenda are associated (rs=+.490) having moderate positive association. Hence, hypotheses are supported.

This study aims to identify the level of English language anxiety and level of motivation in speaking English among Malaysian Pre-University students. The research sample was composed of pre-university students in Selangor, Malaysia. Using a quantitative research method, the researcher distributed a survey questionnaire which was developed by adapting existing questionnaires by Pappamihiel (2002) for English language anxiety scale and Schmidt, Boraie, and Kassabgy (1996) for motivation. Results of the data analysis established there was a low level of English language anxiety in speaking English among pre-university students, and moderate level of motivation, yet the level of intrinsic motivation was slightly lower than the level of extrinsic motivation in speaking English among pre-university students. The results showed there was a significant correlation between English language anxiety and motivation in speaking language. However, there was no significant difference in gender for English language anxiety and motivation. There was a significant difference on races for English language anxiety and insignificant differences on races for motivation. The findings of this study may serve as a platform for school authorities and policymakers in developing motivation and reducing language anxiety among students.

This study aims to determine whether the financial performance measured by using CAR, ROA, LDR, BOPO, and CSR can affect the value of banking companies as measured by using PBV. This study uses secondary data taken from the annual report of banking companies during the year 2012-2016 listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The number of samples of this study as many as 25 banking companies with a total of 125 data. This research method is quantitative research. The results of this study indicate the effect of CAR, ROA, LDR, BOPO, and CSR variables on firm value measured by using PBV in a banking company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Abstract This study aims to empirically challenge the moderation of Non-Performing Loans to the effect of Credit Distribution Rates on Profitability. The population of 81 bank companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2014-2018 and which met the criteria of the research sample (purposive sampling) were 22 companies. The research method uses survey methods with quantitative research approaches, the analytical tool used is moderation regression. This study concludes that the level of credit distribution has a significant positive effect on profitability and the existence of the problem loan variable is proven to be a moderating variable that weakens the relationship between the level of credit distribution and profitability.

This study aimed at analyzing the cognitive dimension based on Revised BloomTaxonomy in reading questions in Look Ahead an English Course for Senior HighSchool Level 1, 2, & 3. This study used quantitative research design. The sampleswere 141 reading questions which taken by using random sampling technique byusing Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS) version 20.0. in Look Aheadan English Course for Senior High School Level 1, 2, & 3. The data were analyzedby using Table analysis of cognitive dimension of Revised Bloom Taxonomy. Theanalysis showed that the most dominant cognitive dimension of Revised BloomTaxonomy in remembering dimension (57.45%). The second dominant cognitivedimension is understanding dimension (26.24%). The third dominant cognitivedimension is evaluating dimension (10.64%). The fourth dominant cognitivedimension is creating dimension (3.55%). The fifth dominant cognitive dimension isanalyzing dimension (2.13%). There was no cognitive dimension of applyingdimension that applied in reading question of the textbooks.

This reasearch is conducted on MSME (Micro Small Medium Enterprises) that are participated in the MSME Syari’ah Mentoring Program by Academition and Practitioners (PUSPA) organized by Bank Indonesia in Bandung. MSME who participated in PUSPA program 2016 is MSME that included in necessity entrepreneur where MSME operated just to fullfil the life necessities.The purpose of this reasearch was to investigate the influence of the business mentoring on the MSME performance in PUSPA program 2016.Researcher used quantitative research method. Data were analyzed using simple regression analysis and descriptive-causal analysis.The result showed that business mentoring affect the performance of MSME that participated in PUSPA Program 2016. Based on the calculation, coefficient of determination (R2) can be seen the influence of business mentoring variable (X) on the performance (Y) is 74%. While the remaining 26% is influenced by other factors such as entrepreneurship competence and human resources.

The present study was an examination of the relationship between product brand loyalty and purchase decision of automotive customers. The study focused on comparative analysis of two famous brands of automobile i-e Honda City and Toyota Corolla Xli and the various effects of product brand loyalty on purchase decision of automotive customers. A cross sectional quantitative research design was employed in the research study. In today’s competitive business world, now most of the marketers and manufacturers of various brands have encountered with multiple variables through which they can not only influence the purchase decision of their customers but also secure their buying preferences. The variables that are used and relevant to this study are product brand loyalty, perceived quality, price, and purchase decision. During examination of the relationship between these variables, study investigated that there is a positive association between product brand loyalty, product perceived quality, price and purchase decision.

This case explores the complexities of how consolidation perpetuates stereotypes among different social classes in a rural Appalachian school setting. Examined are the experiences at the intersection of social class in rural U.S. school districts when two communities—one affluent and one underresourced—are consolidated. We present a nuanced critical incident that focuses on how school leaders perceive and address students’ experiences with tracking and stereotyping—particularly at a middle school level where elementary schools from diverse backgrounds attend school together for the first time.
