Integrating ICT in learning has become the demands of Curriculum 2013. Yet, not all of the teacher have media to support the integration of ICT in learning. Whereas, the integration of ICT may help the teachers to accomodate students’ diversity by using differentiated instruction. Thus, this study aimed at: (1) identifying kinds of supplementary reading exercises are needed by the Seventh Year Students at SMP N 2 Singaraja; (2) identifying the design of the electronic supplementary reading exercises for the slow learners of seventhyear students at SMP N 2 Singaraja; (3) measuring the quality of the electronic supplementary reading exercises for the slow learners of seventhyear students at SMP N 2 Singaraja. This study was conducted based on the research and development design proposed by Sugiono (2011).  The data of the study were collected through questionnaire, interview, observation, expert judge and field study. The results of the data were further analyzed by using descriptive analysis and interrater agreement model from by Gregory (2000). The result of the study showed that (1) the supplementary reading exercise needed by the seventh year students at SMP N 2 Singaraja was supplementary reading exercise which was integrated with ICT; (2) the design of the electronic supplementary reading exercise for the slow learners was developed based on the needs; (3) the electronic supplementary reading exercise for the slow learners was categorized as high quality exercises based on content validity, empirical validity, quality of the media and field test.

Computer is high-tech equipment in the age of information, and has been widely applied in all industries by relying on its sharing, universality, intelligence and other characteristics. Seen from the structural composition, software and hardware are two core components of computer, and play a decisive role in the quality of computer and its system in the actual work. Software development is a process for building up software system or software of system according to the needs of users; in high-quality software research and development, multiple aspects such as market research, demand analysis, structure design and model debugging are involved, and the quality of products can be ensured only if each operation link is strictly controlled.

Abstract This research aimed to produce a device for converting heat energy into electrical energy as a teaching aid for physics. This research process is development research, which refers to the Research and Development (R&D) model. The instrument used was a questionnaire with a five Likert scale, which addressed media experts, material experts, physics teachers in SMA Negeri 2 Sigi, and class XII MIA SMA Negeri 2 Sigi students. The product quality data obtained were analyzed using descriptive analysis. Based on the analysis of the media expert’s assessment, the quality of the product obtained a percentage value of 87.69% with the interpretation of “Very Good”. Based on the analysis of the assessment by material experts, the quality of the product obtained a percentage value of 84.44% with the interpretation “Very Good”. For the results of the physics teacher’s response, a percentage value of 86.00% was obtained with the interpretation “Strongly Agree”. For the results of the responses of class XII MIA students in the limited test, a percentage value of 83.56% was obtained with the interpretation “Strongly Agree”. The test results and questionnaire analysis showed that the heat energy conversion device developed into electrical energy was feasible to use.

This study aims to develop learning media in the form of gas steam stoves fueled by oil and describe the validity and effectiveness of the products being developed. This development and research are summarized in a study entitled the development of learning media in a gas-fired gas stove to increase students' curiosity in applied physics subjects. This study uses a media development research method known as Research and Development (R&D). From the research carried out, the following data were obtained: the results of media validation obtained very good categories, and validation test by media experts found very good category. In the curiosity test, which was initially limited to active students, the scores were very good. The results of the initial average curiosity test for the field test were obtained in the low category, and after the use of the media was tested again, and the average score was obtained in the very good category.  It can be concluded that the use of an oil-fired gas steam stove in the form of a Pertamax stove as a learning medium can increase students' curiosity about learning applied physics material.

Teaching science should emphasize the provision of real experiences for students to develop their competence so that their ability in learning can be improved. The aim of this study was to evaluate the improvement of students’ learning result after the development of the teaching materials. This study used the <em>Research and Development</em> (R&amp;D) approach with the 4D model. The data were collected through test and validation analysis. The findings show that after teaching implementing the developed material, there were no students in the low category, students in the medium level were 11 (35,48%) only, while the majority of them (20 students) which were 64,52% were categorized into the high level. Besides that, referring to the descriptive analysis of mean scores obtained by students, their achievement was regarded to be better than before (87,06). In terms of the improvement in students’ learning results, after they were taught using the media which was developed in this study, students experienced improvement as the t-test showed the tcount = 50,160 &gt; t table= 2,042 with the significance level of 0,000. Based on that results, the development of teaching material does support the learning activities in the classroom. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of teaching material brings an impact on the improvement of students’ learning results so that they can understand the materials better. This current study gives insight to the learners about the importance to develop teaching media for learning Physics.
