The problem found at SMA Negeri 1 Semarapura was that the learning achievement in Biology was not yet satisfactory. This study was aimed at (1) describing the design of E-learning development, (2) describing the E-learning design quality validation result according to the expert judges and the product try out result, (3) finding out the effectiveness of E-learning developed. This study was research and development. It used Hannafin and Peck’s model. The data which were collected in this study were qualitative and quantitative data. The data were collected through document recording, questionnaire and test. The results were as follows, (1) the E-learning design for Biology subject using Hannafin and Peck’s model which covered three stages, (2) the E-learning for Biology subject that was developed was valid; (a) the result of content experts’ judgment about the content of the subject shows that the E-learning falls into very good qualification (91.4%), (b) the result of the E-learning experts’ judgment of the E-learning design shows that E-learning falls into good qualification (90.06%), (c) the result of instructional design experts’ judgment about the E-learning falls into good qualification (89.02%), (d) the result of individual try out, small group try out, and field try out show that E-learning falls into good qualification (89.93%), (89.34%), and (83.03%), (3) the effectiveness of the development shows that E-learning that was developed was effective in enhancing Biology learning achievement (tobs. = 25.89 > tc.v. = 2.390, at the 5% level of significance). That means that E-learning has proven to be effective in enhancing Biology learning achievement significantly.

E-learning berbasis Chamilo telah berhasil dikembangkan pada pembelajaran simulasi dan komunikasi digital di SMK Negeri 5 Palembang. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan efektifitas e-learning terhadap mata pelajaran fitur kolaboratif daring. Tahapan Penelitian pengembangan ini terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, desain, dan pengembangan. E-learning yang telah dikembangkan kemudian diuji kevalidan oleh ahli, diuji kepraktisan oleh peserta didik, dan diuji efektifitas dengan mengimplementasikan e-learning di SMK Negeri 5 Palembang. Pengembangan e-learning menggunakan model Alessi dan Trollip. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa 1.) E-learning teruji kevalidan dengan penilaian oleh ahli media terhadap e-learning sebesar 89,47%, penilaian oleh ahli materi sebesar 84,62%, dan penilaian ahli desain pembelajaran sebesar 81,82%; 2.) E-learning teruji kepraktisannya dengan penilaian dari 3 peserta didik tingkat rendah, sedang, dan atas dengan rata-rata sebesar 86,10%; dan 3.) E-learning teruji efektifitas meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dilihat dari adanya gain sebesar 0,70 yang termasuk kedalam kategori tinggi.AbstractE-Learning of Chamilo based has been developed for materials simulation and communication digital in SMK Negeri 5 Palembang. The research aims to know validity, practicality, and effectiveness e-learning features on the subject matter of online collaboration features. This research development stage consists of the plan, design, and development phase. E-learning features that have been developed and then tested validity by experts, tested practicality by students, and tested for effectiveness by implementation e-learning in SMK Negeri 5 Palembang. The development of e-learning used the Alessi and Trollip model. From this study, it was found that 1.) The assessment e-learning features have been validity tested by media experts at 89.47%, by subject matter experts of 84,62%, and by learning design experts of 81,82%; 2.) The assessment of e-learning features has been practicality tested by three students’ low level, medium, and high an average by 86,10%; and 3.) E-learning features have been effectively tested to improving students learning outcomes seen from a gain of 0.70 included in the high category.

The e-learning research agenda summarizes the most commonly identifiable research dimensions regarding e-learning design that influence e-learning quality.

Penelitian ini dilakukan karena rendahnya prestasi belajar yang disebabkan oleh terbatasnya waktu belajar yang dimiliki disekolah terutama pada saat praktik. Maka dari itu, pada penelitian ini dikembangkan e-learning sebagai solusi untuk permasalahan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mendeskripsikan rancang bangun pengembangan e-learning, 2) mendeskripsikan hasil validasi e-learning yang dikembangkan berdasarkan review para ahli dan uji coba produk, 3) menguji efektivitas e-learning yang dikembangkan terhadap hasil belajar simulasi digital siswa kelas X di SMK Negeri 2 Singaraja. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan Hanafin & Peck dengan strategi pembelajaran Flipped Classroom. Prosedur pengembangan mengacu pada model yang dipilih. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara, kuesioner dan tes. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan pedoman wawancara, kuesioner/angket, dan tes objektif. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif, deskriptif kuantitatif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1) terdapat tiga fase rancang bangun konten Dynamic e-learning berstrategi Flipped Classroom a) fase analisis kebutuhan, mata pelajaran yang dipilih adalah mata pelajaran simulasi digital, masalah dapat diidentifikasi yaitu rendahnya prestasi belajar simulasi digital terutama dalam nilai praktik. b) fase desain, dokumen yang dihasilkan dalam tahap ini ialah dokumen flow chart dan story board c) fase pengembangan dan implementasi, penentuan konsep e-learning dan melakukan uji ahli dan uji coba pengguna; 2) validitas e-learning menurut review ahli isi mata pelajaran diperoleh 93% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik, review ahli e-learning diperoleh 83% dengan kualifikasi baik, review ahli desain pembelajaran diperoleh 86% dengan kualifikasi baik, uji coba perorangan diperoleh 88,66% dengan kualifikasi baik, uji coba kelompok kecil diperoleh 89,5% dengan kualifikasi baik, dan uji coba lapangan diperoleh 86,1% dengan kualifikasi baik; 3) efektivitas e-learning menunjukan nilai rata-rata skor pretest didapatkan sebesar 55,83 posttest sebesar 89,17 dan nilai sig=0,001. Dengan demikian nilai sig 0,001< 0,05, sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Ini berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar siswa antara sebelum menggunakan konten Dynamic e-learning berstrategi Flipped Classroom dan setelah menggunakan konten Dynamic e-learning berstrategi Flipped Classroom pada mata pelajaran simulasi digital siswa kelas X di SMKN 2 Singaraja.Kata Kunci : pengembangan, e-learning, flipped classroom This research was conducted because of the low learning achievement caused by the limited time of study which is owned in school especially at the time of practice. Therefore, in this study developed e-learning as a solution to the problem. This research aimed to : 1. Describe the design of e-learning development, 2. Describe The results of e-learning validation developed based on expert reviews and product exsperiment, 3. Tested the effectiveness of e-learning developed against the digital student simulation learning result of class X SMKN Negeri 2 Singaraja. This type of research is a development research using the model of developing hanafin & peck with flipped classroom learning strategy. The development procedure refers to the selected model. The data were collected by interview method, questionnaire and test. The data collection instrument uses interview guides, questionnaires, and objective tests. The data analysis used is descriptive qualitative, descriptive quantitative, and inferential statistics. The results of this study are 1) there are three phases of dynamic e-learning content design with flipped classroom strategy a) Needs analysis phase, selected subjects are digital simulation subjects, the problem can be identified that is the low learning achievement of digital simulation especially in practice value, b) design phase, the documents generated in this phase are the flow chart and story board documents, c) the development and implementation phases, the determination of e-learning concepts and expert test and user trials; 2) the validity of e-learning according to expert review of the content of subjects obtained 93% with excellent qualification, review of e-learning expert obtained 83% with good qualification, review of learning design expert obtained 86% with good qualification, individual test obtained 88,66% with good qualification, small group trials obtained 89.5% with good qualifications, and field trials obtained 86.1% with good qualifications; 3) e-learning effectiveness shows the average score of pretest score is 55,83 posttest equal to 89,71 and value of sig = 0,001. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan produk e-learning berbasis pendekatan ilmiah pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam bagi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Yogyakarta dengan spesifikasi model dan isi yang ditetapkan, (2) mengetahui kelayakan produk e-learning, (3) mengetahui hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan e-learning. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dan diadaptasi dari model Alessi dan Trollip. Prosedur pengembangan meliputi tahap perencanaan, desain, dan pengembangan. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan sebagai berikut:  (1) produk e-learning berbasis pendekatan ilmiah berhasil dikembangkan dengan sebuah sistem manajemen pembelajaran (LMS) online yang dibuat dengan software aplikasi moodle. E-learning berbasis pendekatan ilmiah dikembangkan untuk pokok bahasan sistem tata surya dan kehidupan di bumi; (2) produk e-learning berbasis pendekatan ilmiah pada mata pelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam telah memenuhi kriteria dan dinyatakan layak sebagai media pembelajaran berdasarkan validasi ahli media, ahli materi, dan siswa, kelayakannya mencapai rerata skor 4,15 dengan kategori baik; (3) keefektifan pembelajaran IPA lebih baik setelah menggunakan e-learning dibuktikan melalui peningkatan hasil belajar. Hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Yogyakarta mengalami peningkatan setelah menggunakan e-learning.Kata kunci: e-learning, pendekatan ilmiah, ilmu pengetahuan alam. DEVELOPING OF E-LEARNING BASED ON SCIENTIFIC APPROACH ON NATURAL SCIENCES LESSON AT SMPN 5 YOGYAKARTAAbstractThis study aims to: (1) develop e-learning based on scientific approaches on natural science subjects for students grade VIII of SMPN 5 Yogyakarta with model specifications and specified contents, (2) determine the feasibility of e-learningproduct (3) determine student learning achievement after using e-learning. This research was a research and development (R&D) adapted from models of Alessi &Trollip. The development procedure included the planning, design, and development. This study shows the following results. (1) E-learning-based on scientificapproaches was developed with a learning management system (LMS) online software applications created with Moodle. E-learning is developed based on a scientific approach for the subject of the solar system and life on Earth; (2) e-learning based on scientific approaches for natural science subjects is appropriate as a medium of learning based on the judgement from media expert, materials experts, and students, with the feasibility with mean score of 4.15 with both categories; (3) the learning achievement of class VIII student of SMPN 5 Yogyakarta increases after using e-learning.Keywords: e-learning, scientific approach, natural sciences

The research aims at describing the process and learning achievement through mind mapping method. The research was an action research begun with : a) planning, b) action and observation , c) reflection. The process of the research was classified into two cycles. The subject was class XI MIPA 5 consist of 32 students with 15 orang males and 17 females. The data were collected through  test,  observation, interview and documentation. The data analysis was conducted both qualitatively and quantitatively.  The result showed the improvement of students' achievement after treated with mind mapping method. Before treatment, the percentage was 46,77% which improved to 70,39 % after the First cycle and improved to 82.22% after the second cycle. In conclusion, there was an improvement of biology learning achievement by applying mind mapping method. Keywords: Mind Maping Method, Achievement

<p>This article seeks to examine e-learning design arising from two educational traditions: the United States of America and Europe. The research question is: Broadly, what kinds of pedagogy, instructional design models, or didactical models are established and proposed for e-learning design on the two continents? Two researchers examined multiple articles and texts in an effort to discern the prominent approaches in their respective regions. The analysis is tripartite: First, the educational philosophies, which have guided e-learning design on each continent, will be presented; second, specific theories about learning influencing e-learning design will be discussed; and finally, e-learning design, which arises from innovative instructional strategies, will be investigated. The resulting analysis brings to the surface not only how the values that underpin e-learning development in each region differ but also how specific perspectives influence the respective fields. The researchers acknowledge these differences but also remark on the historic and contemporary symbiosis that has endured even in this relatively new field of e-learning.</p>

E-learning has an important role in Islamic Education learning. Students are expected to not only listening to the explanation of the material from the teacher but also playing an active role in learning by applying e-learning. This study aims to analyze the implementation of learning based e-learning in Islamic Education course. The method used in this research was qualitative descriptive. The subject of this study was SMK 8 Surabaya students for the Islamic Education course. The data collection method had been done by interview and documentation. Data analysis had been done by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and making conclusions. The results of this study were the researcher found three stages in learning-based e-learning in the Islamic Education course, which is planning stage, implementation stage, and evaluation stage.

This research was derived from the facts indicating that the fourth grade students� learning achievement at SD Negeri 05 2x11 Enam Lingkung Kabupaten Padang Pariaman was still low. The purpose of this research was to describe the improvement of the students� learning achievement in natural science by using Process Skill Approach in the fourth grade of SD Negeri 05 2x11 Enam Lingkung Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. The number of the subject was 20 students. This was a Classroom Action Research which applied both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The results of the research showed that the students� learning achievement improved from 76,75 in the firs cycle to 86, 75 in the second cycle. Hence, the us of Process Skill Approach could improve the fourth grade students� learning achievement at SD Negeri 05 2x11 Enam Lingkung Kabupaten Padang Pariaman.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) mengembangkan e-learning memperbaiki alat reproduksi sinyal audio video CD (2) mengetahui kelayakan e-learning yang dihasilkan sebagai sumber belajar siswa, dan (3) mengungkap keefektifan e-learning terhadap pencapaian hasil belajar siswa kelas XI teknik elektronika SMK Negeri 5 Banjarmasin yang melaksanakan Prakerin.Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R&D). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) e-learning yang dikembangkan dengan LMS Moodle melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu : perencanaan, desain, dan pengembangan. E-learning menyajikan materi standar kompetensi memperbaiki alat reproduksi sinyal audio video CD untuk siswa kelas XI Teknik Elektronika yang sedang melaksanakan Prakerin, (2) elearning tersebut layak digunakan pada siswa kelas XI Teknik Elektronika SMK N 5 Banjarmasin yang melaksanakan Prakerin. Kelayakan e-learning berdasarkan ahli materi termasuk katogori baik dengan skor rerata 3,98, berdasarkan ahli media termasuk katogori baik dengan skor rerata 3,90 berdasarkan uji beta termasuk kategori sangat baik dengan skor rerata 4,15, dan berdasarkan uji produk termasuk kategori baik dengan skor rerata 3,90, (3) Penggunaan e-learning untuk siswa kelas XI Teknik Elektronika SMK Negeri 5 Banjarmasin yang melaksanakan Prakerin efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Hal ini terbukti dengan perbedaan skor peningkatan pretest ke posttest untuk kedua kelas tersebut sebesar 13,24. IMPLEMENTATION OF E-LEARNING FOR STUDENTS OF ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING IN SMK NEGERI 5 BANJARMASIN JOINING THE INDUSTRIAL WORK PRACTICUMAbstractThis study aims to: (1) develop e-learning for repairing a signal reproduction device for audio video CD; (2) investigate the appropriateness of the developed e-learning as a learning resource for students; and (3) investigate the effectiveness of elearning in the attainment of learning outcomes of Year XI students of Electronics Engineering in SMK Negeri 5 Banjarmasin joining the industrial work practicum. This study was a research and development (R & D). The results of the study are as follows. (1) The e-learning is developed by means of in three stages, i.e. planning, design, and development. The e-learning development presents the materials for the competence standard in repairing a signal reproduction device for audio video, (2) The e-learning is appropriate to be used by Year XI students of Electronics Engineering in SMK Negeri 5 Banjarmasin joining the industrial work practicum. Its appropriateness is in the good category with a score of 3.98 by the material expert, is in the good category with a mean of 3.90 by the media expert, is in the very good category with a score of 4.45 by the beta test, and is in the good category with a score of 3.90 by the product testing. (3) The use of the e-learning is effective to improve their cognitive learning outcomes. This is indicated by difference in the score improvement from the pretest to the posttest in the two classes is 13.24.

Biology is a science whose concept is abstract and has a wide scope. One of them is the subject of Plantae that requires appropriate media to help to visualize the material being taught. Some things to consider in the selection of media such as material and learner characteristics. Characteristics of learners today is known as the Z generation so that the appropriate media is one that involves the use of technology. One of them is Edmodo-based e-learning media. The use of Edmodo-based e-learning media enables the delivery of more varied and much-involved students. This study aimed to find out the development process of Edmodo-based e-learning media and to produce a valid product as well as to know the effectiveness and practicality of the product. This research was a development research using a method by Borg and Gall (1983) model that has been modified by Sugiyono (2006). Stage of limited scale trial was conducted in SMAN 2 Jember and SMAN 4 Jember. The result of the product validation test of e-learning media development on average produced a valid product. Effectiveness test at SMAN 2 Jember and at SMAN 4 Jember resulted in a high N-Gain score. The result of the practicality test through the students and teachers responses of SMAN 2 Jember and SMAN 4 Jember created a response with strongly agree category.   Keywords: Edmodo, e-learning, development, Plantae subject.
