This  research  was  conducted  in  the  area  Dharmasraya  Regency,  West  Sumatra  Province.  The  purpose  of  this  study determined : a) Method of extention   in innovation adoption of artificial insemination (AI) in the cattle farm in the District Dharamasraya, and b) Social and economic factors that influence adoption of innovation Artificial Insemination (AI) in the cattle farm  in the District Dharmasraya. This research used survey method and approach to the analysis of secondary data. The number of samples in this study were determined by quota sampling technique by reason of homogeneous samples, the farmers were already adopting  innovations  and cattle ranchers IB program participants snapping Birahi Artificial Insemination (GBIB) thus took a sample of 40 people. The data collected were primary data with the help of question naires and secondary data with the literature study and related agencies. Descriptive analysis of quantitative data which was calculated using a Likert scale. The results showed that the extension method in the adoption of IB in cattle breeding business in the Regency Dharmasraya been implemented, namely the extension methods home and farm visits with category, extension methods demonstrations by both categories, and the campaign extension methods with the medium category. Social and economic aspects such as business scale farmers, revenue, risk, active participation in the innovation adoption had no effect on aspects of the IB whereas age despite being influential in the adoption of innovation, but still in the category of less influential.

Lebih Village is a village located in Gianyar subdistrict, Gianyar regency, famous for its coastal tourism, which is Lebih Beach. Lebih Village have been included in the criteria for Tourism Village, however, their certificate has not been issued for this year. In addittion to the coastal tourist attraction, it turns out that the village has more potentials to be developed into a tourist attraction. Theses potentials include a natural, cultural and artificial attraction. These potentials still need to be developed in order to run in the tourism sector. In connection with this, the author tries to examine the “Analisis Prioritas Pengembangan Pariwisata di Desa Wisata Lebih, Kecamatan Gianyar, Kabupaten Gianyar. The research method used in this research is qualitative research with qualitative descriptive analysis technique and SWOT analysis, to analyze the tourism development priorities in Lebih tourism village. The purpose of this study was to determine how the existing conditions and to find out the priority strategies for tourism development in Lebih Village. Sources of data from primary data and secondary data, data collection techniques using observation, interview and literature study, and interview instruments in the form of interview guidelines. The research of informant in Lebih Tourism Village in this research use purposive sampling technique, to get accurate data about tourism development priorities in Lebih tourism village, Gianyar subdistrict, Gianyar regency. The conclusion of this research is the exisiting condition in Lebih Village with component 4A which explains the attractions, accsess, facilities, and additional services. In addition there is a main priority strategy for tourism development in Lebih Village which is to develop the potentials they have, collaborate with another stakeholders, conduct training for the community, build tourism facilities, conduct promotions and improve management. The results of this research is the strategies obtained by the SWOT analysis, which were used as a priorities development strategy of tourism in Lebih Tourism Village, Gianyar. This study aimed to determine the decision making, attitudes and factors that affected underprivileged households on buying eggs in Bandar Lampung city. This research was conducted in Teluk Betung Timur. The research method used in this research was survey method. The research data consisted of primary and secondary data. Primary data was collected by conducting interviews with 75 underprivileged households. Secondary data was obtained by literature study. The sampling technique used in this study was simple random sampling. The research data was analyzed descriptively and qualitatively, by Fishbein multiattribute model and multiple linear regression analysis. The results obtained from this study showed that consumers decided to buy eggs at the sales location through the need recognition stage, information search stage, alternative evaluation stage, purchase decision stage and post purchase evaluation stage. The price of chicken eggs was the benefit, main focus and the most considered on choosing a location to buy eggs. Consumers prefer buying eggs at grocery stalls compared to traditional markets and modern markets. Together, the price of eggs, household income, number of household members, the price of free-range chicken eggs, the price of purebred chicken, the price of beef, the price of tempeh, tofu, salted fish and cooking oil had a significant effect on purchasing eggs. Factors that significantly influence the purchase of eggs by underprivileged households in Bandar Lampung were the price of eggs and the number of household members.Key words: attitude, decision, eggs, factors

The Sacred area of ??Masceti Temple is located in Medahan Village, Blahbatuh District. The Number of tourists began increasing is an indication of the tourism potential that can be developed. This is the background of choosing the topic "Tourist Perception of Masceti Temple Sacred Area in Medahan Village" to be studied. This research used qualitative and quantitative study methods those are qualitative descriptive analysis, validity test analysis, reliability test and frequency analysis to know the perception of tourists to the destination. Data sources from primary data and secondary data. Data completion technique using observation method, interview, literature study, documentation, and questionnaire. The technique of determining tourist samples used in this study is a quota sampling technique. The finding of Tourism Potentials are panoramic nature, socio-cultural, artificial or economical and the perception of tourists to destination consist into four aspects those are tourist perception of tourism attraction, tourist perception of access to location, tourists perception of tourism facility and tourist perception of tourism service. From this research can be concluded that The Sacred Area of Masceti Temple already has tourism potentials which is needed for a way for the development that must follow the rules of The Sacred Area of Masceti Temple. So, it can be realized without reducing the sanctity of Masceti Temple as Kahyangan Jagat Temple in Gianyar regency, Bali. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of human capital and organizational learning on company performance which is mediated by organizational competence. This research uses quantitative research with descriptive analysis approach. The population in this study were 75 respondents, each of whom worked for 3 MSMEs in the city of Jakarta. The sampling technique used is a saturated sample. The types of data in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, in-depth interviews and questionnaires. The analysis technique is carried out with two main parts, namely the measurement model and the structural model. Based on the results of research data analysis, it can be concluded that: 1) Human Capital has a positive and significant effect on organizational competency with a t-statistic value of 5.176; 2) Organizational Learning has a positive and significant effect on organizational competency with a t-statistic value of 4.786; 3) Human Capital has a positive and significant effect on Company Performance mediated by organizational competence with a t-statistic value of 5.387; 4) Organizational Learning has a positive and significant effect on Company Performance mediated by organizational competence with a t-statistic value of 3.175; and 5) Organizational Competency does not directly affect the Company's Performance with a t-statistic value of 1.571.

ABSTRAK. Penelitian dilaksanakan di salah satu daerah sentra peternakan sapi potong, yaitu Kecamatan Pauh, Kota Padang, Sumatera Barat, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pendekatan penyuluhan dalam diseminasi inovasi Inseminasi Buatan (IB) pada peternak sapi potong dan metode penyuluhan dalam diseminasi inovasi Inseminasi Buatan (IB) pada peternak sapi potong. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode survei melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumen data. Populasi adalah peternak sapi potong yang sudah mengadopsi inovasi Inseminasi Buatan (IB), Sampel ditetapkan sebanyak 30 peternak dengan teknik Quota Sampling. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif yang dihitung dengan menggunakan skala Likert. Hasil penelitian adalah penyuluh sudah menerapkan pendekatan persuasif, pendekatan pervasion dan pendekatan compulsion dengan baik, sedangkan pendekatan coersion tidak diterapkan dalam diseminasi inovasi IB. Metode kunjungan rumah / usaha tani dan metode demonstrasi sudah diterapkan dengan baik, sedangkan metode kampanye tidak diterapkan oleh penyuluh dalam diseminasi inovasi IB pada peternak sapi potong di Kota Padang.  (The application of extension approaches and methods in disseminating artificial insemination (AI) innovation to beef cattle farmers at Pauh sub-district in Padang) ABSTRACT. A survey was carried out at Pauh sub-district, Padang to understand extension approach and method in disseminating artificial insemination (AI) innovation to beef cattle farmers. A survey method approach was used through observation, interviews and data document. Primary data were collected from 30 farmers using quota sampling technique. Data analysis was performed descriptively quantitative which was calculated using a Likert scale. The results showed that the extension workers have applied a convincing approach in both persuasive and compulsion types. However they did not use coercion in conveying AI innovation. Farm visit as well as demonstration have been implemented well by extension workers, while the campaign method is not applied in disseminating IB innovations to beef cattle breeders in the city of Padang.

<p>PT Trubus Mitra Swadaya is a company engaged in the agribusiness industry that sells a wide range of agricultural goods. The development of the agribusiness industry, particularly agricultural stores are now increasing to fiercer competition. The objectives of this research were (1) Identify the level of knowledge management at PT Trubus Mitra Swadaya, (2) Identify the level of the activities associated with knowledge management at PT Trubus Mitra Swadaya, and (3) Analyzing the perceptions of employees regarding the application of knowledge management at PT Trubus Mitra Swadaya. The data that used in this research were primary data and secondary data. Collecting the respondences was done by quota sampling technique, database examine was done by descriptive analysis, average value calculation analysis, and chi-square analysis.<br />The result of average value calculation analysis showed level implementation of knowledge management was excellent (67,01%), represented from strongly agree answered 20,75% and agree answered 46,26%. Moreover, employees said bad, represented from less agree answered 19,97% and disagree 13,02%. In this research, found at least two components which employees feel valued and still yet to be repaired, that was 1) knowledge and 2) work time. The result average value calculation showed level of activity associated with knowledge management was less good (42,78%), represented five to ten times answered 22,78% and more than ten times 20%. Moreover, employees answered never 30% and less than five times 20%. The result chi-square showed employees’ perception about knowledge management based on employee characteristics where the majority of employees agreeing with the implementation of knowledge management.</p>

Perceptions of pedestrian convenience on the pedestrian path of Gajah Mada Street Denpasar. Gajah Mada Street as an economic and tourist area requires good and comfortable physical infrastructure to support easy accessibility and circulation of visitors to the area. One of the physical infrastructures is a pedestrian lanewhich functions as an access to support pedestrian activities. The purpose of this study was to identify the physical conditions of the pedestrian paths and to determine the perception of pedestrian comfort on the pedestrian path at Gajah Mada Street. The research method used in this research is a survey method byperforming primary data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires and secondary data through literature study. Based on the research conducted, it is known that there are physical conditions and supporting facilities for the damaged pedestrian paths, in the form of materials and street furniture such as: seats, trash cans and roadside plants. Based on the assessment of perceptional respondents about the condition of pedestrian path has been considered comfortable and safe. The suggestion of this research is that it is necessary to improve the physical condition of the damaged pedestrians. The purpose of improving pedestrian facilities and infrastructure is to facilitate the pedestrians in order to be comfortable and safe in carrying outactivities on the pedestrian path.

This research was made to build a design of destination branding for Tourist Village Kerta in Payangan Districts, Gianyar Regency. The Method that being used is qualitative description. The informant determination technique that being used are purposive sampling technique. The data sources that being used are secondary data sources and primary data sources. The Primary data on this report is a data that comes from the observation, focus group discussion (FGD) and interview. While the secondary data on this report comes from the documentation and literature study to completed the primary data. The result from this research showing us that a brand from Tourist Village Kerta is a Climatic Village. Climatic Village was choosen as Tourist Village Kerta brand because Kerta Village has won many awards as Climatic Village. The logo design of Kerta Village as Climatic Village is described with four components such as a bamboo, a cow or a cattle, human and a temple. The bamboo, cattle and human was connected to the Tri Hita Karana concept, while the temple showing us the connection between human and the God. The Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of Indonesia has introduced several national and international indexers of scientific works. This policy becomes a guideline for lecturers and researchers in choosing the reputable publications. This study aimed to describe the understanding level of Indonesian lecturers related to indexing databases, i.e. SINTA, DOAJ, Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar. This research used descriptive design and survey method. The populations in this study were Indonesian lecturers and researchers. The primary data were obtained from a questionnaire filled by 316 lecturers and researchers from 33 Provinces in Indonesia recruited with convenience sampling technique on October-November 2017. The data analysis was performed using frequency distribution tables, cross tabulation and descriptive analysis. The results of this study showed that the understanding of Indonesian lecturers and researchers regarding publications in indexing databases SINTA, DOAJ, Scopus, Web of Science and Google Scholar is that, on average, 66,5% have known about SINTA, DOAJ, Scopus, Web of Science and Google Scholar. However, based on empirical frequency 76% of them have never published with journals or proceedings indexed in Scopus.

The province of Aceh was struck by a massive earthquake and tsunami on Sunday, December 26, 2004. The earthquake and tsunami disaster killed 173,741 people and 116,368 people were missing. The earthquake and tsunami in Aceh Province resulted in thousands of houses and public buildings being damaged and caused almost half a million people to be refugees. This study aims to determine the level of preparedness for earthquake disasters on users of public buildings Office of the Governor of Aceh Government. This research uses survey method by distributing questionnaires to users of public buildings and observing the building of the Governor’s office of Aceh Government. The selection of samples in the field is using probability sampling method with purposive sampling technique which is the technique in determining the sample with certain considerations. Secondary data was obtained from literature review and previous research. Data processing uses analysis of validity and reliability and descriptive analysis with index frequency analysis. This study begins with the pre-survey process, where testing is conducted on the questionnaire to determine the level of validity and reliability in each item of statement tested so that the validity value is 0.3120.3 and the reliability value is 0.6130.6. The results of field observations have not yet fully indicated the components of public buildings that are ready to deal with earthquake. From the results of the frequency analysis the index obtained is as follows; aspect of knowledge and attitude has a score of 62% (good), aspect of policy and guidelines has a score of 66% (good), aspect of emergency response plans has a score of 65% (good), aspect of disaster warning systems has a score of 65% (good) and aspect of mobilization of resources has a score of 62% (good)
