The Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of Indonesia has introduced several national and international indexers of scientific works. This policy becomes a guideline for lecturers and researchers in choosing the reputable publications. This study aimed to describe the understanding level of Indonesian lecturers related to indexing databases, i.e. SINTA, DOAJ, Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar. This research used descriptive design and survey method. The populations in this study were Indonesian lecturers and researchers. The primary data were obtained from a questionnaire filled by 316 lecturers and researchers from 33 Provinces in Indonesia recruited with convenience sampling technique on October-November 2017. The data analysis was performed using frequency distribution tables, cross tabulation and descriptive analysis. The results of this study showed that the understanding of Indonesian lecturers and researchers regarding publications in indexing databases SINTA, DOAJ, Scopus, Web of Science and Google Scholar is that, on average, 66,5% have known about SINTA, DOAJ, Scopus, Web of Science and Google Scholar. However, based on empirical frequency 76% of them have never published with journals or proceedings indexed in Scopus.

ABSTRAKParadigma pengelolaan hidup Atur dan Awasi (ADA) merupakan sistem pengelolaan hidup yang banyak diberlakukan di negara-negara berkembang termasuk Indonesia. Implementasi sistem  ADA tersebut sangat dominan dalam pelaksanaan SVLK. Sebagai salah satu pusat industri furnitur, Kabupaten Jepara menjadi daerah yang merasakan dampak langsung dari penerapan kebijakan SVLK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi peranan SVLK dalam “menuntun” industri furniture di Jepara untuk melakukan pengelolaan lingkungan seperti dalam UKL UPL/DPLH yang telah dimilikinya. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survei melalui pendekatan analisis deskriptif. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 37 perusahaan yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik convenience sampling atau sering juga disebut teknik Insidental. Tahapan penelitian meliputi wawancara dan penyebaran kuisioner serta review laporan pengelolaan dan pemantauan lingkungan untuk dikaji dan dievaluasi. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa paradigma ADA yang mengendalikan SVLK belum mampu berperan maksimal dalam mempengaruhi industri furnitur untuk mengeimplementasikan UKL UPL-nyaKata kunci: ADA, SVLK,UKL UPL, industri furnitur.  ABSTRACTParadigm life management Organize and Supervise (ADA) is a management system that is a lot of life imposed on developing countries including Indonesia. Implementation of the ADA system is very dominant in the implementation of the SVLK. As a center for the furniture industry, Jepara district into areas that feel the direct impact of policy implementation SVLK. This study aimed to evaluate the role of SVLK in the "lead" in Jepara furniture industry for management of environment as the UKL UPL / DPLH he had. Research conducted by survey method through descriptive analysis approach. Samples are 37 companies that obtained by using a convenience sampling technique sometimes called Incidental techniques. Stages of research includes interviews and questionnaires and review management reports and environmental monitoring to be studied and evaluated. Currently, many families travelling to various tourist destinations. This phenomenon is interesting to be investigated. Existing research results can be utilized by stakeholders to develop their own policies and strategies. However, at this time not much study exists in family travel. This study  examines family’s travel motivations, family’s activities in destination, and the differences of family’s activity choice across categories of travel motivations. Survey method has been employed in this study. The sample was obtained from a residence in Bogor City, West Java and consisted of 300 families chosen by convenience sampling technique. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and hypothesis test using chi-square. The findings indicated that there were two dominant family’s travel motivations, personal escape and interpersonal seeking. The family chose natural, cultural, and special tourist activities. Family’s activity choice across categories of travel motivations was the same except rafting. It was most preferred by families who had personal escape motivation.

This study aims to find out: 1) The amount of average income of coconut farmers per quarter, 2) The amount of contribution of coconut farming to family income per quarter. Data collection in this study was conducted from October to November 2018 in Klabat Village, Dimembe District, North Minahasa Regency. The method used is the survey method, using primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through direct interviews with 25 coconut farmers and one person from the Klabat Village based on a list of questions that had been prepared previously. Secondary data in this study were sourced from local bookstores, and the internet through Google Scholar to access articles from various scientificjournals and theses from Sam Ratulangi University and other universities related to the contribution of coconut farming to family income. The data obtained were analyzed using contribution analysis and using descriptive analysis presented in table form. The results showed that the amount of income received by coconut farmers was Rp. 1,837,320. While the contribution of coconut farming to household income is 27.45%. This means that coconut farming provides a moderate contribution and cannot be used as the main source of household income in Klabat Village.*eprm*

This study aimed to examine the effect of awareness of taxpayers, tax penalties, tax knowledge, and service tax authorities on tax compliance and building earth. The sampling technique in this study using a convenience sampling (convenience sampling) to 110 taxpayer earth and office buildings in the Department of Revenue, Finance and Asset Management Area (DPPKAD) Yogyakarta that meet the criteria.             The data used are primary data through questionnaires, which contain a respondent's answers. Analysis of the data in this study using descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The first hypothesis: awareness taxpayer positive effect on tax compliance on land and buildings, both: tax penalty positive effect on tax compliance on land and buildings, three: knowledge of taxation positive effect on tax compliance on land and buildings, a fourth: the service tax authorities positive effect on tax compliance and building earth. The fourth hypothesis can be proved by the results of the study showed that awareness of taxpayers, tax penalties, tax knowledge, and service fiskus positive effect on tax compliance and building earth.   Keywords: Awareness of taxpayers, tax penalties, tax knowledge, Service tax authorities, taxpayers Compliance


Competency mapping is developed as the promising tool to measure the talent enhancement of the faculty members working in higher education at Bangalore. It is considered to be the need of the hour to update with respect to changing environment in the field of technological, cultural, social and economic way.to conduct the study, there are 450 faculty members included as respondents from three different segments through convenience sampling technique. To describe their actual opinion of the respondents towards the competency mapping, there are six variables are used and one moderating variable also employed to enhance the talent and skill level of the faculty members, and the same was collected through administering structured questionnaire. A structural equation model is created with the primary data collected using statistical software AMOS V.21 and explained the relationship between the defined variables under the study. Finally, it is concluded that, the faculty members are agreed upon that competency mapping is a tool for measuring the talent enhancement, and which will be much helpful to survive under the hectic competitive position created by the digital rivalry.

Electronic procurement (E-Procuremrnt) was touted as revolutionizing the supply chain and offering organizations a vast number of advantages. Such hype has caused business to focus on the supply function to a greater extent than in the past. The savings promised were too good not to consider and many organizations needed to make these savings to stay competitive.The purpose of the research is to study the further up gradation of Information Technology (IT) to support the procurement process and to identify the significant difference of further up gradation of Information Technology (IT) to support the procurement process across industry, Size and Ownership of the firm. The current study is a descriptive study, for which, primary data were collected through structured questionnaire with the help of personal survey method. The sampling unit is an Executive and/or a Manager concerned with Procurement activities of an organisation. The sampling technique adopted for the survey is non-probability convenience sampling technique. In this study, researchers used SPSS 20 to analyze the data and using nonparametric statistics. There is a significant difference of further up gradation of Information Technology (IT) to support the procurement process across industry, Size and Ownership of the firm.

This  research  was  conducted  in  the  area  Dharmasraya  Regency,  West  Sumatra  Province.  The  purpose  of  this  study determined : a) Method of extention   in innovation adoption of artificial insemination (AI) in the cattle farm in the District Dharamasraya, and b) Social and economic factors that influence adoption of innovation Artificial Insemination (AI) in the cattle farm  in the District Dharmasraya. This research used survey method and approach to the analysis of secondary data. The number of samples in this study were determined by quota sampling technique by reason of homogeneous samples, the farmers were already adopting  innovations  and cattle ranchers IB program participants snapping Birahi Artificial Insemination (GBIB) thus took a sample of 40 people. The data collected were primary data with the help of question naires and secondary data with the literature study and related agencies. Descriptive analysis of quantitative data which was calculated using a Likert scale. The results showed that the extension method in the adoption of IB in cattle breeding business in the Regency Dharmasraya been implemented, namely the extension methods home and farm visits with category, extension methods demonstrations by both categories, and the campaign extension methods with the medium category. Social and economic aspects such as business scale farmers, revenue, risk, active participation in the innovation adoption had no effect on aspects of the IB whereas age despite being influential in the adoption of innovation, but still in the category of less influential.

Understanding to fill the tax return, annual report tax return individual is still lacking, many taxpayers did not understand how to fill out an annual tax return, especially the tax year 2014. The objective was to investigate the influence of socialization Tax, Tax Penalties and Tax e-filing of the tax return reporting annual individual taxpayer. Sampling was done by purposive sampling method and selection of non-random manner convenience. The primary data collection method used is survey method using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using multiple linear analysis, descriptive analysis and to test hypotheses.
