However, the coordination that was carried out by BEM UNP with the student organizations within UNP for period for of 2016-2017 was not effective. The BEM and the student organizations’ work program went on singly without supporting and cooperating. The synergy among the student organizations has not yet reached. This study aims to analyze students’ perceptions of BEM UNP performance in coordinating with the student organizations in UNP for period of 2016-2017. This study used descriptive quantitative method. The sample in this study were 100 students in UNP determined with Slovin formula and Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires with Likert scale measurements and interviews. The finding of this study showed that the students’ perceptions about the coordination of BEM UNP with the students organizations in UNP for period of 2016-2017 were in the medium category with the mean of 2.68. Based on this result, BEM UNP needs more efforts to build up the communication and maintain the coordination with the student organizations, so that the synergy among the student organizations could be realized well

Languages are not just sets of symbols. They also often conform to a rough grammar, or system of rules, used to manipulate the symbols. The grammar of a language is a complex and highly structured affair because it operates in terms of concepts and categories which have to be defined in the same way. So we need a grammar in using English and an understanding of the grammar also influences our ability in English. The students of Law Faculty 2018/2019, Islamic University of Indragiri are the students who are studying English in the first and second semester. So, the researcher is eager to know their ability to identify preposition of time in the sentences. The study focuses on the students’ ability in identifying preposition of time in a sentence especially “on, in, and at”. The number of the first semester of Law Faculty consists of three classes and the total of the students are 118 students. The populations are more than 100 students, so the researcher used a random sampling technique. The researcher can take the sample about 15% to 25% or more like the sample and the researcher take half of 100% is 50%. So, the samples of this research are 69 students. The researcher used a quantitative method to get the data needed. The research instrument in this research is to test and fill in the blank forms. The researcher used a sentence without preposition as the instrument of this research, because the students learned preposition through sentences. Based on the result of the test, the mean score of preposition was 63.98. It was categorized at a good level, which included in the interval 61-80. Where there are 6 students get in a very good score, 26 students get in a good score, 36 students get in enough score, 1 student get the poor score and there is no get in a very poor score. In conclusion, the students of Law Faculty 2018/2019 in identify preposition categorized nice and understand in the preposition.

<p><em>Improvement is needed in the early warning system and information services of Indonesia Agency for Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics (Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi dan Geofisika-BMKG) in term of speed, and accessibility by rural communities. This paper analyzes the factors related to the motivation and competency of BMKG employees’ performance in giving information services related to early warning system. The aim is to determine the effect of motivation and competency partially and simultaneously toward BMKG’s employees performance. Using quantitative method with proportionate stratified random sampling technique, total 80 respondents were interviewed among 389 population of BMKG’s employees who work on Deputy of Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics. The result indicated that the motivation and competency have significant impact to the BMKG’s employees performance. R2 is 0.832 which means that the motivation and competency simultaneously have significant impact to employees performance about 83.2% while the remaining 16.8% influenced by others variable outside the variables studied. The data analyzed using double linear regression in SPSS version 24,  the equation regression obtained is: Y= 9,429 + 0,408X1 + 0,822X2, indicating that effect of motivation factor is lower than competency factor toward employees performance. Therefore BMKG Head Office needs to improve the competency of employees more than motivate them in order to improve its performance on information services and disaster early warning.</em></p>
