Mathematics is regarded as one of the most important lessons that any student must learn. Internal and external factors, in general, influence students' mathematics learning achievement. One of the internal factor variables is students’ learning interest in mathematics. Many research publications show that the variable of interest is strongly related to mathematics learning achievement, so this study aims to prove and quantify the size of the relationship between mathematics learning interest and mathematics learning achievement using quantitative meta-analysis research approaches. The independent variable is student learning interest, and the dependent variable is mathematical learning achievement. The data was acquired from an online database search on Google Scholar within the 2009 to 2019 timeframe. Thirty research publications that satisfied the required criteria were utilized as the sample. Data analysis uses a quantitative meta-analysis approach with a correlation meta-analysis. The findings revealed a favorable and substantial (5% significance level) link between learning interest and student mathematics learning achievement. The average weight value of effect size was 0.540 in the range of 0.430 to 0.640 in the medium category. These findings have demonstrated the consistency of previous researchers' conclusions.

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Palu. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Palu yang terdiri dari 5 kelas. Sampel penelitian diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling, jumlah siswa yang menjadi sampel sebanyak 44 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan dua instrumen yaitu, kuisioner kecerdasan emosional dan dokumentasi prestasi belajar dari nilai rapor. Hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan uji korelasi product moment diperoleh nilai korelasi r = 0,417. Nilai rtabel = 0,297 untuk N = 44 dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Nilai rhitung (0,417) > rtabel (0,297) maka diputuskan menerima hipotesis alternatif (H1) dan menolak hipotesis awal (H0). Artinya terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Palu. Kata kunci: Kecerdasan Emosional dan Prestasi Belajar Matematika The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence with mathematics learning achievement of VIII grade students at SMP Negeri 8 Palu. The population of this study is all students of VIII grade at SMP Negeri 8 Palu consisting of 5 classes. The sample was obtained by using random sampling technique. The total number of the sample was 44 students. The data collection used two instruments, namely, emotional intelligence questionnaire and documentation of learning achievement from the report card. The results of data analysis using product moment correlation test obtained correlation value r = 0.417. Value of rtable = 0,297 for N = 44 with significance level 5%. The value of rcount (0.417)> rtable (0.297) then decided to accept the alternative hypothesis (H1) and reject the initial hypothesis (H0). This means there is a positive and significant relationship between emotional intelligence and mathematics learning achievement of VIII grade students at SMP Negeri 8 Palu. In this study, a mobile learning system (MLS) was developed and adopted to facilitate elementary second-grade students to learn mathematics. A quasi-experimental design was adopted. There were two learning models, including the typical instruction group (TI group) and MLS group. The learning content is the topic of multiplication. A total of 93 s-grade students from four classes in a public elementary school in Northern Taiwan participated in this research. Participants were randomly divided into the MLS group (47 participants: 22 boys and 25 girls) and the TI group (46 participants: 26 boys and 20 girls). Participants in the MLS group received mathematics instruction in the MLS, whereas those in the TI group received direct instruction in typical classrooms. All students took the pretest and posttest of mathematics learning achievement test and mathematics learning interest scale assess their improvement of learning achievement and learning interest after the learning activities. The findings revealed that students in the MLS group had significantly better improvement in their mathematics learning interest and mathematics learning achievement than those in the TI group. In addition, students in the MLS group had significantly better performance in answering items of comprehension and application levels in the mathematics learning achievement test.

Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat dan prestasi belajar matematika siswa dengan menerapkan Problem-based learning (PBL). Penelitian tindakan ini dilaksanakan dengan empat tahapan (perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi), mengadaptasi model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Sebanyak 26 siswa kelas VII.B SMP Taman Dewasa Jetis Yogyakarta dijadikan sebagai subyek penelitian ini. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data terdiri dari angket, lembar observasi, dan tes. Data minat dan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dianalisis secara kualitatif, sedangkan data prestasi belajar dianalisis secara kuantitatif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya peningkatan minat, serta prestasi belajar matematika yang tinggi dari kondisi awal siswa. Beberapa kesimpulan yang diperoleh antara lain sebagai berikut. Pertama, PBL telah meningkatkan minat belajar dan prestasi belajar siswa di kelas VII.B SMP Taman Dewasa Jetis, Yogyakarta, setelah dilakukan tindakan sebanyak dua siklus. Kedua, peningkatan minat belajar siswa disebabkan karena kedudukan siswa dalam PBL tidak lagi bersifat pasif. Ketiga, hadirnya berbagai masalah-masalah matematika yang dekat dengan konteks kehidupan sehari-hari siswa, membuat konsep matematika yang abstrak lebih mudah dipahami sehingga tidak hanya minat, tetapi prestasi belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan. Keempat, keberhasilan pelaksanaan PBL sangat ditentukan oleh konsistensi guru dalam melaksanakan perannya sebagai fasilitator pembelajaran. Sejumlah faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan penelitian juga dibahas dalam artikel. Problem-based learning in mathematics learning: Teacher's efforts to increase students’ learning interest and achievementAbstractThis classroom action research aims to increase learning interest and mathematics learning achievement of students by implementing the Problem-Based Learning (PBL). This action research conduct in four stages (planning, implementation, observation, and reflection) as the Kemmis dan Mc Taggart model suggests. A total of 26 students in class VII.B in SMP Taman Dewasa Jetis, Yogyakarta, were involved in this action research. The instruments used in data collection consisted of a questionnaire, observation sheet, and test. Data on learning interest and implementation of learning are analyzed qualitatively, while data on learning achievement are analyzed quantitatively. The results of the analysis showed an increase in interest, as well as high mathematics learning achievement from the initial conditions. Some conclusions obtained as follows. First, PBL has increased the learning interest and achievement of students in class VII.B of Taman Dewasa Jetis, Yogyakarta, after taking two cycles of action. Second, the increase in students’ interest in learning is due to the position of students in the PBL that is no longer passive. Third, the presence of various mathematical problems that are close to the context of the daily life of students makes the abstract mathematical concepts more easily understood so that not only interest but student achievement also increases. Fourth, the success of implementing PBL is largely determined by the consistency of the teacher in carrying out his role as a facilitator of learning. Several factors that influenced the success of this research were discussed in the article.

An appropriate learning method can improve students’ learning achievement. The cooperative learning method encourages students to improve their mathematics learning achievement. Mathematics learning achievement is one indicator of achieving learning objectives. Mathematics is an important lesson to be learned and must be mastered by students. The purpose of this research was to analyze the effect size of the relationship between Cooperative learning method and mathematics learning achievement through meta-analysis quantitative research approach. In this research, the cooperative learning method serves as an independent variable, and mathematics learning achievement serves as the dependent variable. The data was obtained from the online database search results on Google Scholar in 2010-2020. The sample used was 16 research publications that have met the specified criteria. The data analysis technique used was the meta-analysis quantitative approach with correlation meta-analysis. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship (level of 5%) between the cooperative learning method and students’ mathematics learning achievement. The average effect size value was 0.15 in the range of 0.04 to 0.27 which was included in the low category. These results have proven the consistency of the findings of previous research.

This study aims to determine: (1) a description of the students' interest in learning mathematics at SMPN 22 Sinjai, (2) a description of the motivation to learn mathematics of students at SMPN 22 Sinjai, (3) a description of the mathematics learning achievement of students of SMPN 22 Sinjai.The type of research used is quantitative with the ex post facto method. The sample in this study is the entire population, namely 60 students. The results showed that the students' interest in learning mathematics at SMPN 22 Sinjai was in the medium category. Students' motivation to learn mathematics is in the medium category. Students' mathematics learning achievement is in the medium category. There is a positive relationship between interest in learning and mathematics learning achievement of students at SMPN 22 Sinjai.. There is a positive relationship between learning motivation and student mathematics achievement. Learning interest and learning motivation simultaneously or collectively have a positive relationship to variable Y or learning achievement. That is, the higher the interest in learning and student motivation to learn together, the student achievement will increase, and vice versa.

AbstrakPenelitian dengan menerapkan Blended Learning berbantuan Schoology ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keaktifan dan prestasi belajar matematika siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus yang masing-masing siklus terdiri dari empat tahap, yakni (1) perencanaan tindakan, (2) pelaksanaan tindakan, (3) observasi dan evaluasi, serta (4) refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII A1 SMP Negeri 6 Singaraja tahun ajaran 2018/2019 sebanyak 32 orang siswa. Pengumpulan data untuk keaktifan belajar siswa menggunakan lembar observasi sedangkan pengumpulan data prestasi belajar siswa menggunakan tes prestasi belajar berbentuk uraian. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah persentase skor keaktifan belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan di setiap siklus yaitu 51,08%, 52,08%, dan 62,74%. Skor rata-rata dari tes prestasi belajar siswa dari siklus ke siklus yaitu 52,19; 85,16 dan 95,54 dimana 96,86% siswa memperoleh skor diatas KKM pada akhir siklus. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Blended Learning berbantuan Schoology dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan prestasi belajar siswa.   Kata Kunci: Blended learning, Schoology, keaktifan belajar, prestasi belajar  AbstractThe research by implementing Schoology's and assisted by Blended learning is aims to find out the improvement of students' activeness and mathematics learning achievement. This research is about class action that conducted in three cycles, define by four stages, which is (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation and evaluation, and (4) reflection. The subjects of this study were class VIII A1 SMP Negeri 6 Singaraja at period 2018/2019 with total 32 students. Data for student learning activeness collected using observation sheets while data student learning achievement collect using form with detail descriptions. The results of this study are the percentage of students' learning activeness score has increased in each cycle, which is 51.08%, 52.08%, and 62.74%. The average score of the student achievement test from cycle to cycle is 52.19; 85.16 and 95.54 where 96.86% of students score above the standard (KKM) at the end of the cycle. This shows that the application of Schoology-assisted Blended learning can improve student activity and learning achievement. Keywords : Blended learning, Schoology, learning activeness, learning achievement

This research conducted caused by students' score at class X MIPA 4 very low in the vector material. The avarage of score of the daily test obtained by students was 60,5 and it had not yet reached mastery learning. One of the efforts to improve learning outcomes was to use powerpoint as a learning media. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in activity and mathematics learning outcomes on vector material in learning using PowerPoint.This research design used the classroom action research. The research subjects were 36 students of class X MIPA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Lubuklinggau in the 2019/2020 academic year. Data collected by using tests and observations.The test used to obtain student learning outcomes in each cycle, while observation used to determine the learning process in each cycle. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the average score of student learning outcomes in the first cycle was 62.2 and 77.3 in the second cycle. The percentage of student learning completeness in the first cycle was 52.8%, in the second cycle it was 80.6%. The percentage of improvement in student learning outcomes after being given action was 15.29%. So it can be concluded that learning mathematics by using powerpoint media can improve student learning outcomes in class X MIPA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Lubuklinggau in the 2019/2020 academic year.

Teacher has a very important role in creating an exciting and enjoyable learning environment in math lessons.Learning atmosphere is not exciting and fun for students usually to create learning activities that are less harmonious.As in SD 06 Perawang Barat is still low learning achievement of mathematics students, especially VD class with the number of students 32 people.Based on the mathematical repetition value of grade VD students contained in table 1 can be concluded that most students have not reached the established KKM that is 60 in 2012/2013           Another effort that teachers do is to provide practice questions (PR). Then the teacher also repeats the material that the students have not understood. But the effort made by the teacher has not achieved the expected result; low student learning achievement to mathematics is a material for researchers, that the need for mathematics learning that can improve the results of learning mathematics.               The formulation of the problem in this study is whether the application of direct learning model in groups can improve student achievement on the subject matter of the fractional matter in the VD SDN 06 Perawang Barat class in the even semester of the academic year 2012/2013?       The form of this research is collaborative classroom action research, in collaborative classroom action research involving teachers, principals, and outsiders in one team simultaneously, with the aim of improving learning outcomes, the development of theory and teacher performance improvement. This team relationship is a partnership, meaning that the position of team members with each other is the same that aims to think about the issues to be studied in classroom action research. In this case the researcher serves as a teacher. Action will be done is in order to improve the results of teaching mathematics at class VD SDN 06 in Perawang Barat.               The data in this study were collected with observation sheet and mathematics learning result test. Observations were made to the activities of the students and teachers during the learning process for each meeting by filling out the observation sheets that have been filled in by observing the observation sheets of each teacher and student behavior on the observation sheet. While data is about mathematics learning result collected through daily test (UH1) and daily test (UH2) which contains problem based on indicator that will be achieved based on lattice test result of learning.               The data obtained in this research is then analyzed through descriptive analysis.Descriptive data analysis aims to describe data about student learning outcomes on subject matter using in problem solving.               Based on the results of research and discussion concluded that the application of direct learning model in groups can improve student learning achievement at VD SDN 06 in Perawang Barat class on the subject matter using fractions in problem solving.

The Influence of Learning Interest on Student Achievement at MI Mathla'ul Anwar 05 Cigudeg, Bogor Regency, a survey research with a functional associative quantitative approach. The research aims to: 1) find out the data on the level of interest in learning at MI Mathlaul Anwar 05 Cigudeg, Bogor Regency; 2) find out data on student achievement at MI Mathlaul Anwar 05 Cigudeg, Bogor Regency; 3) determine the effect of interest in learning on student achievement at MI Mathlaul Anwar 05 Cigudeg, Bogor Regency. Research data were collected using questionnaires and documentation techniques. The research instrument used a questionnaire for interest in learning and for student achievement using the general score for Indonesian language subjects. The data analysis technique used a simple linear regression test and the interpretation of the data was carried out in a deductive narrative. The results showed that there was a significant correlation between variable X (interest in learning) and variable Y (student learning achievement) of 0.618. The significance level obtained is 0.000 which is smaller than = 0.050 (one-tailed test), so Ho: = 0 is rejected. Thus, because the significance of 0.000 is smaller than = 0.050 (one-tailed test or one-tailed test), then Ho : = 0 is rejected. This means that there is a significant relationship between interest in learning and student achievement at MI Mafthaul Anwar 05 Cigudeg, Bogor Regency. The form of a simple linear regression equation is obtained = 53.686 + 0.275X. Based on the value of R square, the regression equation can be explained that 38.2% of the variance of student achievement at MI Mafthaul Anwar 05 Cigudeg Bogor Regency can be explained by changes in learning interest. Regression (functional relationship) variable interest in learning with learning achievement statistically with a value of F = 29.635 significant at degrees of freedom k = 1 and n - k - 1 = 48, and P-value = 0.000 which is smaller than = 0.05. Thus, testing the hypothesis Ho:β1=0 against H1: 1≠0 based on the ANOVA table, Ho is rejected because P-value = 0.000 which is smaller than = 0.050. This means that there is a significant effect of interest in learning on student achievement at MI Mafthaul Anwar 05 Cigudeg, Bogor Regency.
