The use of criteria for assessing the quality of work in the preparation of interns for independent practice allows you to analytically understand the main parameters of the appearance of natural tooth tissues, to achieve their self-discovery, motivation to learn, the desire for quality standards.

This paper analyses the legal bases of community policing under European Union (EU) law and the national laws of England, France, Germany, Italy, Romania and Portugal. Community policing arguably helps the police achieve efficient policing while respecting the requirements of the rule of law, a founding value of the EU, and can be a form of co-operation between the EU Member States under the EU legal framework for crime prevention. Moreover, the law in the selected jurisdictions supports four elements of the community policing model: (1) the public-police partnership in establishing policing strategies and priorities; (2) the public-police partnership for crime prevention and detection; (3) proactive and preventive policing; and (4) the police as providers of high quality services tailored to improve people’s quality of life. These elements are interrelated and interdependent: their holistic legal articulation is necessary for their effective existence.

ObjectiveDeveloping an e-learning platform addressing security and rescue forces to eradicate the lack of disaster preparedness underscored by diverse studies. In order to reach this aim the performance of a needs analysis is essential.MethodsThe audience of security and rescue forces was clustered in (emergency) physicians, fire-fighters, policemen, Paramedics and members of the Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW). For each cluster a questionnaire was developed and corrected by specialists in disaster care. The questions were about previous knowledge, habits of studying; further training habits and internet requirements.ResultsThe questioner was posted online during 4 months and was filled in by 1142 persons (141 physicians, 194 fire-fighters, 108 policeman, 444 rescue workers and 255 members of the THW). The biggest lacks in previous knowledge were shown in reacting on CBRN-incidents. 64, 1% thought they were not able to act correctly in case of chemical contamination. The most important learning tools were books, lectures, seminars and the principle of learning by doing. The reasons for using an e-learning platform were saving time, high quality of the tutorials (77% thought it important), quicker reach of information, multimedia formats of the taught facts and links to further information. 55, 2% were slightly unsatisfied with the actual pool of further trainings. The most frequently used sources of information were the internet (78, 8% use it frequently) and colleagues.ConclusionsThe survey shows that lacks in disaster preparedness in Germany definitively exist but it also reflects that most of the security and rescue forces are motivated to do further trainings and use therefore new technologies. But they require a high quality of teaching and a reasonable use of them. There is a need for using innovative Methods, and user-friendly web-based instruction and information modules to address all security and rescue forces in Germany.

In the European Union and Poland, one of the priorities within the framework of the policy of quality and distinguishing food products is to preserve regional traditions and customs. This is realized through European and Polish food quality systems, which aim to protect specific agricultural products and food, including traditional, regional and ecological food. This protection is based on high quality, a recipe that adds authenticity to products, as well as unique and unchanging character. For several years, there has been a growing interest in the European Union and Poland in high quality products with appropriate markings. The aim of the article was to present European and Polish food quality systems and to indicate the possibility of financial support for food manufacturers within the framework of these systems. Participation of Polish food manufacturers in programs for the development and maintenance of the quality of manufactured products and their distinctions is crucial to exist and stay in the highly globalized and competitive market. The geographical location of our country, rich cultural heritage, culinary tradition and an unpolluted natural environment are the advantages that undoubtedly contribute to the development of these systems. The purpose of supporting food quality systems is also evident by the involvement at the level of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and in activities of individual regions and entities applying for these quality certificates. It can be assumed (by observing the set requirements and reported needs of customers and available financial support options for food manufacturers) that the quantity of reported products within the framework of European and Polish quality systems will grow and be appreciated by customers and manufacturers.

The European Union has, as one of its core values, the central ideal of equality and a strong way to measure success in this goal is through the well-being of all citizens. As part of that well-being, one key aspect is health. Politicians will tell you that, if you ask any citizen, health and healthcare will be high on the agenda - and as we live longer that will become more the case, rather than less. In the area of health much progress is being made scientifically, with breakthroughs in, for example, the way we can diagnose and treat rare diseases. New technologies are developing swiftly and coming more-and-more to the fore, while the potential value of Big Data cannot be underestimated. It is incumbent upon all stakeholders in the realm of healthcare - and especially the policymakers and legislators - to ensure that every citizen of Europe has the same rights and access to the same high quality care as his neighbour.
