The family is the smallest unit in society that is formed due to the marriage ties between men and women. The development of children in the family is influenced by the condition of the family situation and the experiences of the parents. The family is a place for the socialization of values ​​or life roles in society carried out by its members. The family goal is the rules and values ​​are known and understood by children so that they can eventually become independent individuals, behave and act according to the rules and values ​​that apply. Javanese character is a value that developed in Javanese society sourced from local religious and cultural norms, can be socialized within the family, among others, through the example given by parents to their children from an early age so as to be equipped in social life as an independent person and not deviate from the prevailing norm.

Many are peeling many of wich explore the child’s ungodly behavior to parents, but few who explore the opposite phenomenon of the ungodly behavior of parents against their children. Children is a grace from God of Allah swt to his parents to be grateful, educated and fostered to be a good person, strong personality and ethical Islamic. While, the development of religion in children is largely determined by the education and their experience, especially during the pre-election period of expectant mothers and fathers and the first growth period from 0 to 12 years. For that, the author is moved to explore and examine (about) the concept of elderly parents in the perspective of Islam. This is the author thoroughly to know who exactly the child in his existence according to Islam? What is the rule and rule of education in family and family roles in children’s education? What are the preparations (actions) that are classified as the ungodly behavior of parens against the child? In this study shows there is an effect (impact) between the family environment (parents) on the formation of islamic character and ethics in children from an early age mainly from the factors of prospective fathers and prospective mothers so the authors get the correlation that the failure of good personality planting in early childhood will turn out to form a problematic person in his adulthood (his grow up). While the success of parents guiding their children will determine the formation of character and their morals so that the family environment conditions are crucial for the success of children in social life in their adult life later (after grow up).  In this study resulted in the conclusion that there are some things that make the parents become ungodly against their children and it has been conceptualized in the holy book of the Qur’an which at least in this study collected there are 14 components of eldery behavior of the lawless to their children.

Divisions based on the assumption that men and women are different from one another permeate all areas of social life as well as varying across space and between places. In the home and in the family, in the classroom or in the labour market, in politics, and in power relations, men and women are assumed to be different, to have distinct rights and obligations that affect their daily lives and their standard of living. Thirty years ago, there were no courses about gender in British geography departments. This chapter discusses the challenges to geographical knowledge, and to the definition of knowledge more generally, that have arisen from critical debates about the meaning of difference and diversity in feminist scholarship. It examines a number of significant conceptual ideas, namely: the public and the private; sex, gender and body; difference, identity and intersectionality; knowledge; and justice. Finally, it comments on the role of feminism in the academy as a set of political practices as well as epistemological claims.

Today we observe the dynamic changes in relations between the sexes in the family, which appear as a result of economic, cultural, and social transformation, the growth of women’s economic strength, as well as the level of their education, and the development of the ideas of the equal rights of women and men in the labour market and in social life. Hitherto existing research results show that Poles are increasingly in favour of the egalitarian family model and declare their wish to build their relationships based on equality. In the article I will characterise our cultural context, in which the egalitarian relation of a man and a woman in a family is both an educational space of confrontation between the “old” concept of family life, often rooted in Parsons’ concept of the nuclear family, and the “new” one, specific for the socio-cultural breakthrough in Poland. I will also present the involvement of formal education in fixing stereotypical images of family life, which are in opposition to the changes observed in relations between women and men. At the end I will present my own concept of education for equality in the marital relations, as well as the frame of equality between spouses in marital relations as a value of upbringing, which are a response to the needs of contemporary women and men.

Abstract In the Polish cultural ethos, the family as a value seems to have an established high position. It is also confirmed by current numerous studies focused mainly on the young generation, which show that for young people the family constitutes a value of the highest priority. It could be presumed, therefore, that the present socio-cultural climate is favourable for the family and enables it to perform its various functions, including the care and cultural function. It also concerns the large family, which in the Polish tradition used to be considered as a beneficial educational environment, or even a kind of a social force. However, in the modern society, which in its definition seems to be a declaration of high quality standards, mainly in terms of developmental chances of all its subjects, the large family has found itself in a specifically difficult situation. The reason behind it is, above all, the fact that having a large number of children is socially ostracized in various ways. If the value of the large family is not only not appreciated socially, but even discredited, then the consequences of such a state of affairs will become apparent in numerous spheres of social life. Most often, it is reflected in the basic decisions in the area of social policy, unfavourable towards large families. For such families it might imply the necessity of engaging in even an extreme struggle for survival in the sphere of everyday existence; even more so when it comes to decent conditions of performing its tasks and its socio-cultural role. Therefore, it is essential to define and refer to the arguments coding in the social consciousness the fact that the large family in the Polish cultural ethos occupied a high position not only in the past, but it still constitutes a significant value which deserves recognition and support.

Discrimination against female draws to a great degree upon the tradition and tribal mentality. The role given to women is to be subordinated to men and be in the service of men and the family. Boys and men are allowed to dominate women in aspects of social life. This stereotypical role assigned to women, based on traditions and tribal mentality, involves not only accepting violence to be administered against women but prescribes even violence.CEDAW’s goal is to achieve equality between men and women to eradicate violence clashes with the local stereotype. CEDAW’s tools to bring about the needed changes have been to demand state party to it to translate their textual commitment to legal codes and practices.  This paper examines the national legislation of Iraq and Kurdistan to point out the degree of subordination of local laws to CEDAWs Article 5. The findings of this paper are that Kurdistan has introduced important changes to the laws but in regard to child marriage it has not reached the international standards.


It is a commonplace observation that fertility is high in the so-called underdeveloped societies. Sometimes this leads to the erroneous view that their fertility is limited only by what is biologically possible so that birth rates reach a mythologically high natural level. In this idealized view free and unrestrained sexual unions beginning at an early age produce very high fertility as an incidental result without deliberate intent and without much individual or social concern about family size. A more plausible general proposition is that reproduction, whether at high or low levels, is so important to the family and to society everywhere that its level is more or less controlled by cultural norms about family size and such related matters as marriage, timing of intercourse, and abortion. In each society the cultural norms about these vital matters are consistent with social institutions in which they are deeply embedded. Changes in fertility are unlikely without prior or, at least, simultaneous changes in these institutions.

The importance of the first guidance from the family from an early age is to help children to have an understanding of themselves (their potential) and their environment (their education) and can foster good behavior / ethics in social life. The aim of this research is to know the importance of family guidance to children from an early age. The method in writing is a qualitative method, which contains data collection through interviews from several parents in the housing complex. The results of this study include guidance from the family from an early age should be done because it helps children to have an understanding of themselves and can foster good behavior / ethics for children from an early age, therefore the role of parents to always supervise and guide their children from an early age so that later it would be useful for the nation and state. the usefulness of this article is to find out that parents can provide guidance from their families so that their children grow up under the supervision of their parents.

Every child has a different disposition from other children. The nature of the child is a characteristic of each individual. The nature of each child will grow and develop according to their social environment. This means the emergence of delinquency in children in various aspects is not only their fault but also one of the negative impacts of an uneducated environment. It is in this context that the family is the main pillar for the formation of children's personalities which needs to be done by instilling religious values in them from an early age. This of course is intended so that children have a personality that is not easily influenced by the negative impacts that occur in the wider scope of social life. This writing method uses a library research method using a qualitative research approach. The author in this case seeks to collect library data either through books, articles or previous studies. Then the writer analyzes the collection of concepts to obtain the essence ofplanting religious values on the character of the child.

Dynamic socio-economic, cultural and technological changes as well as the crisis in upbringing and education caused uncertainty, unsteadiness and axiological instability, including the chaos of ethical values, principles and norms. Tolerance as a basic, universal and timeless value in the era of typical ,,anti-value” globalisation should be one of the priority categories of social life, developed in the paradigm of coexistence, cooperation, openness to dialogue and otherness. The article presents empirical research on education and “tolerance” upbringing as a value shaping the attitudes of a child in early school age. The definition of tolerance and intolerance, their essence, scope, types and boundaries was re (interpreted). Two child-rearing environments have been critically and specifically reflected: the family (parents) and school (teachers) as places for shaping and developing tolerant and intolerant attitudes, world-view responsibility and axiological openness.

Abstract This study analyses the qualitative aspects of emigration from Germany, taking account of economic and non-economic reasons. The reported willingness to emigrate from Germany in the German Socio-Economic Panel (GSOEP) is explained for men and women by three groups of variables: individual characteristics, household characteristics and regional characteristics. It transpires that the educational background and West German residency positively affect the willingness to emigrate, whereas German nationality, age and the family situation are mostly negatively correlated with it.
