The aim this paper is to determine the individual trajectory of the organization of teaching English, considering the individual differences of students and the level of development of their ability to learn. This bibliographical and reflective study used the specialized literature as support and reinforced arguments to prove its hypothesis as the final result: “to teach a foreign language will be effective if the system of didactic and educational means used in the lesson corresponds to the aims of the activity, the real cognitive capabilities of the group, individual students, groups of students”.

At present, with the development of entrepreneurship education, higher education draws more attention to students' learning processes and outcomes. Based on a scientific and standardized education system, entrepreneurship education requires higher education to provide students with more targeted, personalized, and flexible guidance to cater to their needs. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out personalized employment services and guidance. This paper aims to discuss how to provide personalized employment guidance and services according to the individual differences of students, and how to make the entrepreneurial education more diverse and get better results.

This article is devoted to the study of the conditions for the formation of paremiological competence in a foreign language lesson using mobile applications. Their usage allows to improve the quality of the process of learning foreign language thanks to the elements of interactivity. Mobile applications provide the ability of flexible adaptation of educational content to the individual needs of the teacher. Using the mobile application called ‘Quizlet’ is one of the most effective ways to form the paremiological component of communicative competence in schoolchildren at the initial stage of education. The success of using this mobile application in teaching English vocabulary is confirmed by the results of the pedagogical experiment.

AbstractRecent higher education (HE) trends, including broader accessibility, privatization, increased demands for accountability, and technological implementation, have largely neglected consideration of human diversity, including the individual learner’s nature and learning style. Two distinctive scientific perspectives pertain to these individual differences.

Teaching English as a foreign language in higher education becomes more challenging from year to year. Based on the learner and learning needs, nowadays, English should be taught in relation to the other fields of the study. The phenomena require a certain ‘scenario’ to support the students’ English mastery. In accordance to the condition, English Education Department of Universitas Ahmad Dahlan has a program to help the students improving their English skills called Peer-Assisted Learning Program PALP. As an official program in the department, PALP is managed professionally by the boards. However, developing the appropriate materials for the program still becomes one big question to everyone dealing with the program, especially the boards. It is a really challenging work to develop such informative and practical materials for the students joining the program. Thus, in this paper, the writer will discuss several theories as the basis in developing the materials for PALP. It will cover the information about PALP, learner needs, learning needs, criteria of good materials, material development, and materials evaluation/assessment.

This paper presents some of the difficulties of teaching languages, in particular English, in the context of LSP/LAP2 programmes in French universities. The main focus of this paper will be the importance of prosody, especially in English, as an area where these difficulties may be addressed. We will outline the various solutions that are currently being put into place as part of the Innovalangues project, a six-year international language teaching and research project headed by Université Stendhal (Grenoble 3), France. The project has substantial funding from the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research and its mission is to develop innovative tools and measures to help LSP/LAP learners reach B2 on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL). The languages concerned are English, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese and possibly French as a foreign language. Initially the project will be focusing on the needs of Grenoble’s students, but the objective is to make the tools and resources developed freely available to the wider community. Oral production and reception are at the heart of Innovalangues. We believe, along with many other researchers, that prosody is key to comprehension and to intelligibility (Kjellin 1999a, Kjellin 1999b, Munro and Derwing 2011, Saito 2012), particularly given the important differences between English and French prosody (Delattre 1965; Hirst and Di Cristo 1998; Frost 2011). In this paper, we will present the particular difficulties inherent in teaching English (and other foreign languages) in the context of ESP/EAP3 in French universities and some of the solutions that we are implementing through this project (Picavet et al., 2012; Picavet et al 2013; Picavet and Frost 2014). These include an e-learning platform for which various tools are being developed, teacher training seminars focusing on prosody and the collection of data for research.

In the study the features of artificial intelligence use, the main advantages and disadvantages of this technology are analyzed; the aspects of such a pedagogical process in learning Arabic are substantiated, the results of research and scientific advances in cyberlinguistics are summarized. The relevance of the use of artificial intelligence technologies and chatterbots in the study of Arabic in higher education is highlighted. The current state of introduction of artificial intelligence technologies in the educational process of students of higher education institutions is analyzed. Examples of the use of artificial intelligence technologies in the study of Arabic are given. Categories of computer programs with the use of artificial intelligence technology for learning a foreign language are singled out and described. The advantages and debatable issues related to access to user data during the use of artificial intelligence technologies in the educational process are identified. The expediency of using chatterbots with a linear structure is substantiated. Scenarios for the use of chatterbots in the educational process during the study of a foreign language are identified: search script and content generation script. The tasks of a linear chatterbot for learning a foreign language are presented and described. The educational trajectories which will allow reaching the set purposes in training with use of chatterbots are allocated. Mandatory methodological and content elements during the creation of a linear chatterbot are highlighted. The practical scenario of creating an author's chatterbot for learning a foreign language on the sendpulse.ua platform with its further use in Telegram is given. When creating a chatterbot, it was found that the chain constructor is the main tool for setting up a chatterbot. The practical advantages of using a linear chatterbot when learning a foreign language are presented. The study identified a promising direction for the creation of several linear chatterbots (without the use of artificial intelligence), which can be involved simultaneously at different stages of the development of the individual trajectory of education. Multiple chatterbots that provide different answers and ask different questions can significantly improve a learner's communication and other skills.

The learning ability of a foreign language means the tendency people present when studying a second language. It is already accepted abroad that the learning capacity of a foreign language is one of the factors to predict the individual differences of the language learning results. Working memory is the important concept of cognitive psychology, and has great influence on many aspects of language learning (vocabulary acquisition, language understanding, language performance, reading comprehension and so on). So working memory is regarded as the important element of learning ability of a foreign language. As to the research at home so far, the concentration has been purely on academic reasoning as well as the introduction to research abroad during a selected period. The author of the paper is, having experimented with the psychological research mode, trying to analyze the individual differences in the foreign language learning because of their working memory which affects their vocabulary acquisition.
