Islam is a religion that highly respects and values women. Islam erases the Jahiliyah tradition which is so discriminatory towards women, in Islam men and women are considered to be equal, free-tackled, and even complementary and needy creatures of God. Islam as rahmatan lil Alamin positions women in a noble place. There is no dichotomy and discrimination between men and women. Al-Qur’an teaches the position of believers both men and women are equal before God, therefore they must obtain equal status in the eyes of God, and both have been declared the same as getting God’s grace. The departure of women to study even without mahram can be justified as long as their honor and safety are guaranteed and does not invite disobedience. Women have the right to work as long as they need it or the job needs it and as long as religious and moral norms are maintained. Therefore  there is no obstacle for women to work as long as the work is carried out in an atmosphere of respect, courtesy, and they can maintain their religion and can also avoid negative impacts on themselves and the environment. Ignoring women and not involving them in activities that benefit the community means wasting at least half of the community’s potential.

Does theological ethics articulate moral norms with the assistance of moral philosophy? Or does it leave that task to moral philosophy alone while it describes a distinctively Christian way of acting or form of life? These questions lie at the heart of theological ethics as a discipline. Karl Barth’s theological ethics makes a strong case for the first alternative. This book follows Barth’s efforts to present God’s grace as a moral norm in his treatments of divine commands, moral reasoning, responsibility, and agency. It shows how Barth’s conviction that grace is the norm of human action generates problems for his ethics at nearly every turn, as it involves a moral good that confronts human beings from outside rather than perfecting them as the kind of creature they are. Yet it defends Barth’s insistence on the right of theology to articulate moral norms, and it shows how Barth may lead theological ethics to exercise that right in a more compelling way than he did.

The Spread of the Western feminism movement in parts of the world including Indonesia has had a fairly risky impact on Indonesian society, especially among women. The influence of western feminism is the equalization of positions between men and women in all respects so that not women in Indonesia forget their nature as women both when they become daughters, wives, and mothers so that this often leads to conflict in the family that are contrary to Islamic teachings. This article aims to find the real concept of feminism in Islam. To obtain answers to these problems, the researchers used literature studies namely reviewing various scientific articles related to Western and Islamic feminism as well as reciting verses from the Quran related to equality of men and women. The result obtained from the study stated that the concept of feminism in Islam aims to make women knowledgeable and insightful and not narrow their space of movement. But not just standing alone without needing a partner or a man. Both are creatures of Allah who need each other and were created to perfect each other. In Islam, the nature of men and women is different and there is a nature that can only be done by men or women. Therefore, feminism in Islam only demands equality of rights such as the right to study, the right to work, and the right to a career, not demanding gender equality.

Ghazaleh Alizadeh is an Iranian female writer and critic. In the novel of “House of Edrisis”, which is one of her most important works, she shows her feminist thinking in various ways. In this work, she criticizes the culture of patriarchy, marriage, and motherhood. In addition, judicial and legal laws, such as permission for polygamy, are challenged by Alizadeh in this work. She believes that patriarchy has intruded the mind of the society members, including men and women, and one way to clear the minds of people of this concept is respecting and honoring women. She also demands equal rights for women in terms of the right to education and the right to work. Evaluation of female characters in this work reveals that Roxana (the symbol of liberal feminist women) is the ideal character of Alizadeh, and Mrs. Edrisi and Ligha, who were submissive women in the patriarchy culture, start to fight along with men. According to Alizadeh, the only way for victory of women is their acquaintance with their abilities and rights and ending patriarchal domination. In this paper, we analyze her thoughts with regard to the different feminist doctrines

This article examines about gender problem by using a contextual approach. This approach means understanding Islam in accordance with the current situation, in this corridor of course the situation will always change, the situation past, present and future will definitely experience differences. Need to know carefully, until now gender issues still has a serious impact on the global arena. Why is that, because this issue is often clashed with religion dogmas, especially Islam religion which is the tendency to not generalize in its laws has subordinate the woman’s party. It appears in the matter of legacy and testimony distribution. This type of research is a qualitative research which has a descriptive analysis characteristic. As for the research results among others: 1) By using the contextual approach, talking about the relationship between men and women in islam in principle can be considered the same as talking around the parallel between the both of them. Because in the religion of Islam in principle the relationship between the both of sexes is equal before Allah as is evident in the surah Al-Hujura@t verse 13. In addition, the great mission of Islam is rahmatan li al-alamin; 2) The government policies including in the world of work, should pay serious attention to equal opportunities for both men and women in the supply of available employment opportunities regardless of gender construction, so that it will produce a justice without inequality. For example, a green revolution program designed without considering gender aspects, in which to harvest the rice is used by a sickle cutting system, not by ani-ani, even though that tool is attached to the women; 3) The Koran as a reference to the principle of society recognizes that the position of men and women is equal. The both of them are created from one nafs, which is the one has no advantage over the other. Even the Koran doesn’t explicitly explain that Hawa was created from Adam’s rib so that her status was lower. On that basis, the principle of the Koran for men and women is the same, where the right of the wife is recognized as equal to the right of the husband, including inheritance and testimony. The action that must be needed now is to bulid a proportional synthesis between the Koran, classical Islamic literature and modern science in order to reinterpret gender issue in depth which is the majority of his understanding is marginalize the women.

Art. 24 of the 1948 Declaration of Human Rights recognises and protects the right of the individual to rest and leisure. This right has to be fully exercised without negative consequences on the right to work and the remuneration. Tourism can be considered one of the best ways of rest and leisure because it allows to enrich the personality of the individual. Even after the reform of the Title V this area is no longer covered by the Italian Constitution, the Italian legal system protects and guarantees it as a real right, so as to get to recognize its existence and the consequent compensation of the so-called “ruined holiday damage”. This kind of damage has not a patrimonial nature, but a moral one, and the Tourist-Traveler can claim for it when he has not been able to fully enjoy his holiday - the essential fulcrum of tourism - intended as an opportunity for leisure and/or rest, essential rights of the individual.
