Family is the smallest unit in society and as one of the social institutions in society. Family as a social system has the duty and function to make the system works. The function of education becomes one of the most important functions of a family. Education of family provides the first experience that is an important factor in the children's personal development, as well as the first and main education of the children. Islam as a religion that regulates all aspects of human life does neglect out to regulate about education in the family. Islamic education is part of an effort to instill the values of Islamic teachings in its followers. Islam places the family as the foundation of Islamic values. Activities of islamic education in order to build the muslim personality have to start early, in the family environment. Visionary families will make their lives more organized and prepared for the challenges of life in the future, including will be able to build a family that generates a superior generation. To realize the education of visionary muslim family, Islam guides to start early, even since choosing a partner of life, children care since the womb, continuously going on the process of growth and education in the family.

Education is the most important part in human life who has morals and progress. Education can be carried out by everyone in an educational institution, but the primary education should be implemented through family education which is instilled by parents towards their family members from an early age. For this paper, the author will describe the nature and understanding of education in the family; What are the hadiths about education in the family; how the methods and aspects of family education based on the hadiths. The author uses the literature review (library research), with the primary data sources from the hadiths relating to children's education in the family. Study in this paper, Islamic education requires a simultaneous process and sustainable which involves aspects of disciplinary learning and compliance to implement Islamic education towards students. Education in the family, can be found patterns that must be implemented in the family environment, for the formation of a happy family according to what was taught by the prophet Muhammad SAW, and according to the word of Allah SWT in Q.S. Lukman: 13-19

The research discusses adolescents as an issue of education in the family. As many experts recognize that family education is a major issue in the study of Islamic education. This is because the family is the first place for learning and planting Islamic values of a child to adolescence. In the context of family education, parents have a very vital position, in which parents become the main figures for a child in obtaining the internalization of the expected values in the family. This study is a field research that takes the site to families in Merabuan village, Sambas district, West Kalimantan, focusing on adolescents as the unit of analysis. Data collection techniques in this research using interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings of this research explain that family education conducted by families in Merabuan village through exemplary in the family environment, with the ways often provide guidance and advice, encouraging adolescents into youth members of the mosque, including adolescents praying in congregation in the mosque.

<p>Family is one of the social institutions in the community. Family is also a place for children to acquire mental coaching and personality formation. The family has a considerable role and function on the development and future of the child. However, in fact the violence of children in the family often occurs, such as violence involving fathers, mothers and other siblings. Lack of knowledge and insight related to parenting, growth and development of children is one factor in the occurrence of violence against children. From various cases of child violence, one of NGO named Yayasan SAMIN that cares about child issues to make efforts to prevent and treat child violence in the family. This research aims to know 1) how the role of Yayasan SAMIN in the prevention and handling of child violence in the family, 2) How to form the prevention and handling conducted by the Yayasan SAMIN against Child abuse cases in Family. The results of this study show that 1) Yayasan SAMIN has been explaining its role in the prevention of child violence against parents and the treatment of child abuse victims in families, 2) The prevention of child violence by parents is socialization, campaigning, and KIE (communication, information, education). The form of treatment of victims of violence is with mentoring.</p>

ABSTRACT., The purpose of this study was to describe the preservation strategy of the katoba’s tradition as a medium of Islamic education in Muna ethnic communities at Southeast Sulawesi. Katoba was a life cycle tradition that deals with the practice of Islamic values which carried out hereditary by Muna ethnic communities. In Muna ethnic communities, the Katoba tradition was understood as a ritual of "repentance", or "child islamization" which aged 7-11 years old. In its implementation, the katoba tradition contains the values of Islamic education that are represented, both verbally and nonverbally. This study used a qualitative approach with the research location in Muna district and West Muna District, at Southeast Sulawesi Province. By using the interactive analysis, this study produced the facts about the preservation of the katoba tradition as a medium of Islamic education in the Muna community which carried out by (1) inheriting katoba values in the family environment, (2) preserving the Muna language, (2) increasing the professionalism of imamu, and (4) preservation through "Katoba-insightful" teaching and research.               Keywords: strategy of preservation, katoba tradition, Muna ethnic communities ABSTRAK., Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menggambarkan strategi pelestarian tradisi katoba sebagai media pendidikan Islam pada masyarakat etnis Muna di Sulawesi Tenggara. Katoba adalah tradisi siklus hidup yang bertalian dengan praktik nilai-nilai Islam yang dilaksanakan secara turun-temurun oleh masyarakat etnis Muna. Bagi masyarakat etnis Muna, tradisi katoba dipahami sebagai ritual “pertobatan”, atau “pengislaman anak” berusia 7-11 tahun. Dalam pelaksanaannya tradisi katoba mengandung nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam yang direpsentasikan, baik secara verbal maupun nonverbal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan lokasi penelitian di kabupaten Muna dan Kabupaten Muna Barat Propinsi Sulawesi Tenggara. Menggunakan analisis interaktif, penelitian ini menghasilkan fakta-fakta strategi pelestarian tradisi katoba sebagai media pendidikan Islam pada masyarakat Muna dilakukan dengan langkah-langkah (1) pewarisan nilai-nilai katoba di lingkungan keluarga, (2) pelestarian bahasa Muna, (2) peningkatan profesionalisme imamu, dan (4) pelestarian melalui pengajaran dan penelitian “Berwawasan Katoba”. Kata Kunci: strategi pelestarian, tradisi katoba, masyarakat etnis Muna

Family is the first education for children. In the neigbhourhood the child gets the influence, because that is the family is the highest educational institution.  It is in this family that the child gets care from the parents heading in the direction its development.  Before a child knows the environment, the social, the school and the outside world.  He was first influenced by his family environment, especially his parents. This research methode uses qualitative approach, with a purpose to obtain data related to Islamic education within community. This research more focuses on role of the parents themselves in Islamic education in the new normal era. Basic conclusion obtained from this research is parents who have significant role in educating their children.The first thing is very important implanted in yourselves sons of the in the process of education first this is planting religious values .Its very important as early as possible in yourselves sons of the basic must be built strong religious provide financial support for him to lived his life.

Research relevance: this article examines the units of children nominations in the linguistic picture of Kyrgyz people world. The nominations of the concept child, in the language indicating certain aspects of this concept, reflect its real characteristics in different directions. Research objectives: study of children Kyrgyz and English nominations. Research materials and methods: in this work authors used methods based on the analysis of linguistic representations of the concept of a child and the ways of organizing the identified nominations of children into groups. Research results: certain nominations contain indications of the social characteristics in the child’s image, including the child’s status in the family and the child’s belonging to social institutions, in addition, nominations describing the birth conditions, life and family education received by the child were highlighted. Conclusions: the concept under study has relevant features corresponding to two different linguocultures.

(Title: The Importance Of Parents In The Family As The Basis Of Establishment Of Japanese Community Characters(An Ethical Review)) Japan including developed countries in various fields, but the people still maintain tradition. This study aimed to describe parenting in families in Japan. Then the researchers interpreted the importance of parental exemplary in the formation of Japanese society. This research is a literature research on the lives of Japanese society. The method used by researchers is a description and interpretation. The result of this study is described as follows: the example of parents is imperative because parents are a figure for the children. Exemplary is applied in all aspects of live. Family education is the basis for forming individual character. Ethical values are always the basis for behaving. Parenting in the family brings logical consequences to the pattern of individual behavior to the social environment. Ethical values as a basic principle that is applied a close manner in the family environment have formed general awareness. These methods are able to shape Japanese society with a strong character.

Aim: To measure the family environment levels among students in Saveetha dental college. Objective: Measuring the family environment scale by a questionnaire. Background: The family is the oldest and the most important of all the social institutions. The family environment is influenced by a number of factors like constellation, number of children in the family, marital relationship between husband and wife, maternal environment, socio-economic status and religious background of the family. Reason: I am interested to know about the family environment of students. This study also helps us to emphasise the values about family environment.

The paper deals with issues connected with the motivation of high school students to participate in activities aimed at professional creative activity and, in this context, issues of environmental influences, especially from school and the family. It is responding to some of the growing efforts of neoliberalism to over individualize creative expression and activities and completely ignore social influences. It also takes into account the cultural legacy of past generations and the sources of creative power that have taken root in society and from which individuals draw and process their inspiration. Presented within are the results of an empirical probe focused on the influence of the social environment on the creative activity of teenagers. The paper follows the relations to the existing body of knowledge on the relationship between social environment and creativity, with an effort to capture the social conditionality of creative performances—to capture their roots. The results of the probe have confirmed the initial hypothesis that the creative efforts of secondary school students taking part in vocational training is based on the social background of the family and school. However, the family influence on the students’ creativity is not as significant as one would expect. It is the indirect effect of the family environment that has a larger influence.

By now most of you are aware of the severe cuts in federal funding for the social and behavioral sciences and for the humanities proposed by the Reagan Administration.At the National Science Foundation, while support for the natural sciences is slated to increase, the proposed budget for the social and economic sciences calls for a 65 percent reduction.At the National Institute of Mental Health (ADAMHA), the Administration proposes toeliminateall social research, which is expected to include research on the family, socialization of children, effects of separation and divorce, evaluation of prevention efforts with children, effects of mass media on behavior of children. In addition, the definition probably will include social policy research, research on race and ethnic relations, studies of community structure and change and studies of social institutions.
