This study is aimed at obtaining a description of the various habituation activities carried out to form the character of students that are relevant to Permendikbud Number 23 of 2015 concerning Cultivation of Character. The research approach used is qualitative with the type of phenomenological research. Data were collected by interview, observation and documentation then analyzed using data analysis techniques Miles and Huberman's model. The results showed that there are seven strategies in implementing character education based on Permendikbud Number 23 of 2015. First, cultivating moral and spiritual values through habituation. Second, developing national values and diversity through habituation. Third, develop positive interactions between students and teachers and parents through habituation. Fourth, developing positive interactions between students through habituation. Fifth, taking care of yourself and the school environment through habituation. Sixth, develop the full potential of students through habituation. Seventh, the involvement of parents and the community in schools through habituation. The seven strategy activities have been implemented optimally because each of the objectives in them can be achieved.

This article aims to discuss the concept of triple helix Mohammad Natsir which he often refers to as the three pillars of Muslims’ power and associate it with the idea Kampus Merdeka and Merdeka belajar to strengthen the education of religious characters at the university level. A method that uses a qualitative approach with data sourced library data. This article's result is the concept of triple helix mohamad Natsir namely the integration of education between three institutions, masjid, pesantren and campuses. Among the cooperation programs that can be done are internship programs, making humanitarian projects, teaching, and researching potential mosques or pesantren. In order for this program to run according to the plan in advance must agree on the concepts and purpose of education, agree to the integration and conversion of the curriculum, and monitoring and evaluation periodically.

<p>An Najah Sekolah Dasar Tahfiz Quran Terpadu (SDTQ-T) Boarding School, Cindai Alus Martapura has more complex instrument than character education process instrument in school or Islamic school because it has uniqueness, where students are schooling and staying in the same environment so that it can form very well and conducive environment for educational and character building process especially in discipline, responsibility and independence.</p><p>The objectives of the study are to describe and analyze: (1) Character Education Strategy in building students’ discipline, responsibility, and independence in An Najah SDTQ-T Boarding School, Cindai Alus Martapura. (2) Character Education Model in building students’ discipline, responsibility, and independence Model in An Najah SDTQ-T Boarding School, Cindai Alus Martapura. (3) Implication of Character Education Model in building students’ discipline, responsibility, and independence in An Najah SDTQ-T Boarding School, Cindai Alus Martapura.</p><p>This research uses qualitative approach with case study type. The data collection techniques are interview, observation and documentation. The data are analyzed qualitatively with analysis model of Miles and Huberman. The research results show: (1) Character Education Strategy in building students’ discipline, responsibility and independence in An Najah SDTQ-T Boarding School, Cindai Alus Martapura are: Emphasizing in awareness, model/example, spontaneous activities, warning, environment conditioned, regular activities, and integrated discipline.(2) Character Education Model in building students’ discipline, responsibility and independence in An Najah SDTQ-T Boarding School, Cindai Alus Martapura are habitual, dgiving example, developing discipline, and giving reward and punishment, CTL, conducting education with boarding school system<em>. </em>(3) Implication of Character Education Model in building students’ discipline, responsibility, and independence are: correct conduct in teaching and learning activities, students’ fidelity, students’ quality, confidence and achievement, and most of the students achieve minimum score of 70, the increase of discipline, responsibility, and independence graphic every year in students’ score reports.</p>

Game as a Character Education Strategy. Today, character education is very important to be instilled in children from an early age. Modern life with increasingly diverse social activities is feared to change and influence the character of children. This character planting can be started from the smallest and closest environment, the family. Furthermore, it can be further developed in the school education environment and the surrounding community. Character building in children is not only done through the provision of learning materials in school or habituation. But it can also be done through fun activities, namely playing. This play can use games that are educational using media and or without using media. Through educational games it is expected to be able to instill good characters to children.

This research aims to find out the character values developed in Ar-Raudlatul Hasanah pesantren and its implementation strategy. This research method uses qualitative methods with descriptive types of analytical. The results showed that the implementation of character education in Ar-Raudlatul Hasanah boarding school refers to a systemic-integrative model. All components of education in the formation of santri's character have a strong relationship with each other that is built systematically and integrated. All santri activities from waking up in the morning to going back to sleep at night accumulated in the pesantren system and culture based on the values of Panca Jiwa consisting of sincerity, simplicity, independence, Ukhuwah Islamiyah, Freedom. In addition, pesantren also developed the motto that is virtuous, able-bodied, knowledgeable, free-thinking, and charitable. These character-building values are applied and developed systemically-integratively through learning activities in the KMI curriculum, the formation of pesantren culture/ culture, and through co-curricular and extracurricular activities. Methods used in the application of character education values are direction, transparency, assignment, training, habituation, discipline, appreciation, and punishment. Therefore, it can be said that Pesantren Ar-Raudlatul Hasanah is a modern system pesantren that applies character education systematically and is integrated into the overall totality of education starting from the learning process, pesantren management, and daily activities.

This study aimed to describe the strategy of integrated character education in madrasah management. This research is a case study done in MTs Muhammadiyah 01 Purbalingga, Central Java, by using descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection was done by interview, observation, and document review. The results showed that (1) strategy of character education through madrasah management has not been implemented to the fullest. In the preparation of planning activities not listed explicitly madrasah character values to be achieved, both in the work plan of the madrasah (RKM) annual and mid-term (four years). In practical terms, this madrasah has internalized the values of character through discipline and self habituation activities; (2) integrated character education strategy in the implementation of learning can be seen in subjects of science, Civics, sosial studies, Quran Hadit, and morals. Internalization of character values is applied to the planning, implementation of learning, through the process of evaluation of learning outcomes; and (3) the strategy of character education through training activities is conducted through extracurricular activities such as scouting, PMR (Youth Red Cross), Pencak Silat Tapak Suci, sports, training for girls, and so forth.

The rapid development of science , knowledge , technology and information systems make the impact positive and negative impact on education world. An effort to reduce the negative effect of technology appliance on education is by applying character-based education on the Elementary school students. As part of the Elementary School curriculum, a lesson called Physical Education indirectly have focus to develop the character of overall. In order to optimize the character of students through physical education, required several studies about strategy in developing character of students learning through it. Thus, this articles aims to discuss: character based education, physical education as part of character education, strategy of developing the students character through physical education learning. This article using library research as research type. In this research, researchers collected data from various sources contained on news and articles from online journal. The selected criteria of the articles used in this research which have relevant discussion of character-based education, physical education as part of character education, strategy of developing the students character through physical education learning. The conclusions can be described is: 1. The students character shaping through character based education can be optimized on Elementary School Level but keep paying attention on some priciples including: Universal moral values; holistic; integrated; participatory; local wisdom; the XXI century skills; fair and inclusive; suitable with students development; and measurable. 2. The character shaping of Elementary School students can be optimized by physical education through continuous process, correct learning methods, and suitable technic and strategy. 3. The character shaping of Elementary School students through physical education can be doing with inclusive strategy.

The current phenomenon shows that the noble character values ​​among children are experiencing a quite concerning crisis. One of the factors causing the deterioration of children's character is a crisis or deterioration of national cultural values ​​or local wisdom values. Therefore, exploring cultural values ​​or local wisdom values ​​is a strategic step in an effort to build the nation's character. The purpose of this study was to describe (1) character education through traditional games in MIN 3 Jember, (2) character education through traditional songs in MIN 3 Jember, and (3) character education through folklore in MIN 3 Jember. To achieve this goal, this study uses a phenomenological type of qualitative approach. The data collection technique uses observation, interview, and documentary study techniques. The data collected are primary data and secondary data which include: character education strategy data through traditional games, character education through traditional songs, and character education through folk stories. After the data is collected, it is analyzed using themodel spiral analysis  proposed by Cresswel (2007). The results showed that (1) The teachers at MIN 3 Jember have used traditional games as a medium to instill character values ​​in students. The traditional games played by students are quite varied. The steps taken by the teacher in using traditional games as a medium in instilling the character of students are: choosing traditional games that are in accordance with the learning theme, playing games together with students, followed by explaining the character values ​​contained in the games that have been played the. (2) Teachers at MIN 3 Jember have used traditional songs as a medium to instill character values ​​in students. The steps taken by the teacher in using traditional songs as a medium to instill the character of students, namely: choosing traditional songs that are in accordance with the learning theme, singing songs together with students, followed by explaining the character values ​​contained in traditional songs that have been sung. (3) teachers at MIN 3 Jember have used folklore as a medium to instill character values ​​in students. The steps taken by the teacher in using folklore to instill character values ​​are: (a) the children read the folklore in groups or independently, (b) to find out whether the children understand the story, the teacher make inquiries via 5W + H. (c) the teacher retells the folklore to the children, and (d) the teacher conveys the messages (character values) that exist in the story.

This study aims to determine efforts to improve student character through education policy. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. This research can be classified in the category of field research. Data collection used in this study uses observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data analysis in this study is data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study show that the PGSD study program policy in its efforts to improve student character is by character education strategy, namely the development of an educational unit culture through a policy of using uniform and point cards. Co-curricular character education strategy through the activities of the learning media competition festival and the PGSD Award. Extracurricular character education strategy through Scouting and Kepalangmerahan activities.
