Karangan putih village is a village where the village where the villagers have different ethnics. Most of the villagers who live there are transmigrans, although they live in the different culture environment, their implementation about tolerance between each villager are high.This research’s objective is to find aut how the local’s and the transmigrans’ way to interact each other, how the local’s behavior to the transmigrans to create the nasional intergration. This research designed and implemented with the qualitative method. The data collection uses the observation technique and interview. The result of this research data will be analyzed by the data reduction, data display and drawing conclusion. The result of this research shows how the locals interact with the transmigrans at karangan putih village is by mutual assistance form, and to create the mutual respect to the cultural differences, they make a discussion and also to create the national integration, the karangan putih village makes a culture to create the peaceful, safe and sound villagers. Besed on the result of this research, it can be suggested that to build the villagers’ tolerance behavior at karangan putih village to fulfill the best things between the villagers.

<p>The purpose of the study is to know and depict the revitalization and socialization of Daeng dance in purbalingga, Indonesia. This study used a qualitative method. The relevant techniques of data collection to the method are observation, interview, and documentation. The data obtained are analyzedusing three ways; they are data reduction, data display, conclusion and verification. The results showed that revitalizing Daeng dance occurred in its earliest performances, by means of innovating the foregoing Daeng dance without leaving its characteristics. The revitalization was done toward the dance’s motion, accompaniment, makeup, wardrobe, stage, sounds, lighting, and floor patterns, as well as there is a change in its function; as the media of spreading Islam in the past to nowadays just being an entertainment. After the process of revitalization, Daeng dance is then socialized through two ways of deployment; they are formal and informal processes. This dance’s socialization in this study occurs through direct performance and mass media. </p>

This research was inspired by some of the realities that the author found related to the implementation of character education, especially in several regencies/cities in East Kalimantan. Apart from the author’s concern toward the case of the moral decadence of the nation's children, this should be a demand and obligation for every educator to form the character of his students. Therefore, various models and innovations began to be developed by educational units led by creative teachers starting to package character-based learning designs and innovations. This research focuses on character models developed by the school. This research is a field work research that focuses on multi-site studies. Sources of data in this study include: teachers and students in several schools are the focus of research. The research locus is spread in several regions, namely: Tarakan, Bulungan, East Kutai and Bontang. The data collection techniques that the author uses in this study include: observations, interviews and documentations. Furthermore, the findings of the research data were processed using Milles and Hubberman's interactive analysis using the data reduction flow , data display and data conclusions . Based on the findings of the research, it can be concluded that the character values developed include: religious values, creative, independent and responsible, the spirit of nationality and love for the motherland, tolerance, communication and love the environment.

Learning could be effective and efficient, if the teacher has appropriately learning strategy as well the ability of the students, especially for disable students. So then the teacher’s strategy as teaching PAI is very important. The problem of this research is focused on how the teachers strategy on teaching PAI for disable students of SMPLB-YPPC Banda Aceh.Moreover, the objective of this research is to figure out the strategy of the teacher on teaching PAI for disable students of SMPLB-YPPC Banda Aceh. Research design used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Then, the location of this research is SMPLB-YPPC Banda Aceh. Subjects of this research are a headmaster and 2 PAI teachers. Method of data collection that used in this research is observation, interview and documentary. The instrument used here is a list of interviews and observations. The technique of data analysis is data reduction, data display, and data verification. The result displays 1) strategy of the teacher on teaching PAI in SMPLB-YPPC Banda Aceh: a) individual groups, b) cooperative, c) behavior modification. 2) Supporting and inhabiting factors on teaching PAI in SMPLB-YPPC Banda Aceh: a) inhabiting factors are students’ parents have less concern, disability of disable students and learning media. 3) Implementation on teaching PAI strategy in SMPLB-YPPC Banda Aceh: a) lesson plan, b) learning implementation, c) evaluation.

This study aims to describe the learning medium of economic education at senior High School in Banjarmasin with media based on local wisdom.This research uses qualitative method as developed by Miles & Huberman, starting from data collection, data reduction data display, and then made conclusion. Data were collected in the order of Basic Competence (KD) of Economics lesson, from Class X, XI, and XII. The data are grouped into media that are (a) audio, (b) visual, and (c) audio & visual. Respondents are economic teachers, MGMP Economics, the school, especially the principal in question.From this research, it is known that the use of learning media based on local wisdom in high school in Banjarmasin City has been done mostly using audio, visual or audio & visual media, in every Basic Competence (KD) of economic learning. Already there are inserted with the media based on local wisdom, but has not been explored to the fullest.

<p>This study was aimed at describing the types, the function, and the meaning of the compound words used in Stephenie Meyer’s <em>Twilight</em>. A qualitative method with the content analysis was applied in this study. The object of this study was compound words. For the data collection, it was used the techniques such as data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. This study was validated by using triangulation. The findings showed that there are 253 compound words. Based on the type of compound words, there are 5 compound words categorized as open form, 65 compound words categorized as hyphenated form, and 183 compound words categorized as closed form. Based on the function of compound words, there are 173 compound nouns, 13 compound verbs, and 67 compound adjectives. Referring to the meaning of compound words found from the contextual meaning, there are 140 words of the exocentric compound and 113 words of the endocentric compound.</p>

Abstrak Tenunan Balai Panjang adalah salah satu tenunan yang ada di Sumatra Barat, yang merupakan pengembangan dari tenunan songket. Namun belum banyak Masyarakat yang mengetahuinya. Maka tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat proses menenun, bentuk motif dan tata letak motif pada tenunan Balai Panjang di Kelurahan Balai Panjang Kecamatan Payakumbuh Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Jenis data berupa data primer dan sekunder. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dari sejumlah informan yang terdiri dari Disperindag Kota Payakumbuh, pimpinan, sekertaris, bendahara dan pengerajin. Selanjutnya data dikaji dan dianalisa dengan langkah-langkah reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsaha data dilakukan dengan perpanjangan pengamatan, meningkatkan ketekunan, dan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian yaitu 1) Proses meenenun meliputi : (a) proses persiapan (b) proses menenun (c) finishing. 2). Bentuk Motif yang digunakan pada Sentra Tenunan Balai Panjang terinspirasi dari: (1) bentuk alam (tumbuh-tumbuhan, binatang, buah-buahan) seperti : motif tampuak manggih, motif bungo rayo, dan motif pucuak rabuang, motif itiak tabang, motif itiak pulang patang dan sapik kapitiang. (2) bentuk geometris: motif tenun Bintang Kejora, motif bintang jo kumbuah, motif Lakuak Kumbuh dan motif gonjong limo. Bentuk motif tenunan tersebut sudah distilasikan sedemikian rupa sehingga membentuk motif tenunan. 3). Pola Hias yang sering digunakan untuk tenunan pada Sentra Tenunan Balai Panjang adalah pola hias pinggiran, pola hias mengisi bidang, dan pola hias serak. Penepatan motif disesuaikan dengan kegunaan produk. Kata Kunci: Tenun, Songket, Balai Panjang. Abstract Balai Panjang weave is one of the weavings in West Sumatra, which is the development of songket weavings. But not many people know about it. So the purpose of this study was to see the weaving process, the shape of the motifs and the layout of the motifs in Balai Panjang weaving in Balai Panjang District, Payakumbuh Selatan District. This study uses a qualitative method. The types of data are primary and secondary data. Data collection uses observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The research data was collected from a number of informants consisting of the Department of Industry and Trade Payakumbuh, leaders, secretaries, treasurers, and craftsmen. Furthermore, the data is reviewed and analyzed by the steps of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data is done by extending the observation, increasing perseverance, and triangulation. The results of the study are 1) The weaving process includes: (a) the preparation process (b) the weaving process (c) finishing. 2). Forms of Motif used in Balai Panjang Woven Center are inspired by (1) natural forms (plants, animals, fruits) such as advanced tiapak motifs, bungo rayo motifs, and motifs of rabuang pucuak, motifs of itiak tabang, motifs of itiak return kapitiang stems and sapik. (2) geometric shapes: Bintang Kejora woven motifs, jo kumbuah star motifs, Lakuak Kumbuh motifs, and gonjong limo motifs. The shape of the woven motif has been distilled in such a way that it forms a woven motif. 3). Ornamental patterns that are often used for weaving at Balai Panjang Woven Centers are fringe decorative patterns, decorative patterns filling fields, and hoarse decorative patterns. The acceleration of the motif is adjusted to the use of the product. Keywords: Tenun, Songket, Balai Panjang.

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan bentuk penyajian tari Ratoeh Jaroe di Sanggar Budaya Aceh Nusantara (BUANA) Banda Aceh. Sumber data dan lokasi dalam penelitian ini adalah ketua sanggar Budaya Aceh Nusantara (BUANA), koreografer atau penata tari, penari tari, dan penata musik tari Ratoeh Jaroe. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu mereduksi data, display, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan ciri spesifik bentuk penyajian tari Ratoeh Jaroe pada sanggar Budaya Aceh Nusantara (BUANA) yang diciptakan oleh Khairul Anwar pada tahun 2008, serta judul tarian ini diciptakan oleh Khairul Anwar pada tahun 2011. Tari Ratoeh Jaroe ditarikan oleh sebelas penari wanita. Tari Ratoeh Jaroe memiliki tiga puluh tiga gerakan dan lima kali pengulangan gerak. Diiringi dengan alat musik tradisional Aceh seperti seurune kale, rapai, geundrang, dan darabbuka. Tata rias yang digunakan adalah rias korektif, serta tata busana yang disesuaikan dengan konsep tari Ratoeh Jaroe. Tari ini dipentaskan pada proscenium stage namun bisa juga di lapangan terbuka. Fungsi tari Ratoeh Jaroe sebagai salah satu media dakwah yang mencerminkan nilai-nilai kependidikan, keagamaan, sopan santun, kepahlawanan, kekompakan, dan kebersamaan yang diperlihatkan melalui gerakan jari tangan penari. Pada pentas tari Ratoeh Jaroe inilah penonton akan menangkap maksud karya yang ditampilkan. This research purposed to decribe forming of presenting Ratoeh Jaroe dance at Sanggar Budaya Aceh Nusantara (BUANA) Banda Aceh. Data resources and location of the research are head of sanggar Budaya Aceh Nusantara (BUANA), choreography or dance stylist of Ratoeh Jaroe dance, dancers of Ratoeh Jaroe dance, and music stylist of Ratoeh Jaroe dance. The approaching used in this research is qualitative with descriptive research. Data collection used with observation technique, inteview and documentations. Technique analysis data in this research was data reduction, data display and verification. The result of the research shown that Ratoeh Jaroe dance at sanggar Budaya Aceh Nusantara (BUANA) created by Khairul Anwar in 2009 along with title of this dance created by Khairul Anwar in 2011. Ratoeh Jaroe dance danced by 11 female dancers, and the function Ratoeh Jaroe dance as one of da’wah media which is reflected educative, religious, politeness, heroic, harmony and togetherness that is shown by the movement of dancers’ fingers. Ratoeh Jaroe dance has thirty three movements and eleven repeating movements. Accompanied by Aceh traditional music instruments like seurune kale, rapai, geundrang and darabbuka. Cosmetic used in this dance was beauty make up, and dressmaking which is adjusted by the concept of Ratoeh Jaroe dance. This dance performed at proscenium stage and performed at outdoor area as well, thus, in this stage Ratoeh Jaroe dance would be performing with the aim to make spectators at audiences understood the purpose of creation that performed.

This research aimed to find outthe mechanism of hamisbatar local wisdom of ManehituFafiur Tribe, in Belu Regency, NTT. This study was descriptive qualitative research. Data collection was carried out using observation, documentation and interview. Data analysis was conducted qualitatively encompassing data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The result of research showed that hamisbatarrite was organized in six stages: preparing land rite, planting rite, hamisbatarrite held in Manehitufafiur tribal house, corn harvest rite, corn collection in customary house, and corn binding rite still continue to be implemented until today.

This study aims to identify the Kaur language rhymes in accordance with the types of rhymes in the Kaur community of Bengkulu Province. The approach and type of research used are qualitative survey. The research location is Pengubaian Village, Gedung Sako II Village and Air Dingin Village, Bintuhan city, Kaur Selatan District, Kaur District. Subjects used as informants in the research are the chief of Kaur customary institutions in the village of Air Dingin, Community leaders Pengubaian villagers, and community leaders Gedung Sako II Village. Data collection techniques used in this study are interviews to informants and documentation. The document obtained were analyzed by data reduction, data display, and conclusion. Validity of document using extension of observation, improvement of persistence, triangulation of source and member check. Research results collected fifty-two rhyme Kaur language rhymes contained in the three villages. Fourteen rhymes from the village of Pengubaian, eighteen rhymes from the village of Gedung Sako II and twenty rhymes from the village of Air Dingin. Based on the results of identification can be concluded that, from fifty-two Kaur language rhymes, which is adapted to the types of rhymes obtained, namely: a puzzle rhymes, nine advice rhymes, eight affection rhymes, three spirit rhymes, two custom rhymes, Three religious rhymes, eight witty rhymes, eleven figurative rhymes, six romance rhymes and one proverb rhymes.

This article objective to examine the monikah indigenous traditions for Kasimbar Tajio ethnic communities in Central Sulawesi. Qualitative method used in this research, data collection techniques of observation, interviews and document tracking non-structure. Technical analysis of data through data reduction, display data, verification data to generate conclusions and findings of the research results. Conclusion The study found that first; monikah custom comes from acculturation Mandar and Tajio ethnic culture in the tradition of marriage, second; monikah custom implementation of social value that affects personality Tajio ethnic communities in maintaining the values of brotherhood, family, respect for elders, unity and cooperation, maintain the pattern of interpersonal communication that is based on mutual respect in maintaining a harmonious relationship between human beings. third; monikah indigenous religious value that affects Islamic personality in performing worship to Allah (God), tawadhu’ attitude, moral education, purity and purification of the soul, ta’aruf and silaturrahmi.
