Language is used as a means of communication in social intercourse. It can be used to propose one’s ideas, deliver particular messages, and to express emotions. One of many ways of using language is by producing swear word. Swear word is an offensive word which often used to express humiliation, anger and any other tense emotions. This study concerns with the descriptive analysis of swear word found in Fast and Furious 6 movie and its function. Hopefully, this study will be useful for English Department students and also the viewers of the movie to gain better understanding in interpreting the meaning and function of the swear word found in the movie.The research method employed in this study is descriptive qualitative method. The data were collected through observation and documentation method. The data was taken from the dialogue among the characters in the movie and its subtitles. Then, the deductive-inductive method was used in the step of the data analysis. Furthermore, in presenting the analysis, the data is explained descriptively in words, supported by tables.The finding presented that there are six kinds of swear words proposed by Hughes (2006) are performed by the characters in Fast and Furious 6 movie. There are seven swear words that related to sex (ass, asshole, ass-kicking, pussy, big-ass, bad-ass), two swear words related to excrement (shit and bullshit), a swear words related animal’s name (fox), three swear word related to personal background (bitch, son of a bitch, bastard), a word related to sexual activity (fuck) and three words related to taboo or religion or oath (hell, damn, goddamn). Meanwhile, swear word related to mentall illness and racism was not found in the movie. Furthermore, the function of swear words performed by the character of the movie are used as abusive swearing, cathartic swearing, idiomatic swearing and emphatic swearing. Swear word which used as dysphemistic swearing is not found in the movie.

<p><strong>This research article writing aims to describe East Ghouta post the deliverance of Bashar al-Assad based on the perspective of phenomenology study of Edmund Husserl. The issues to be studied are: (1) </strong><strong>h</strong><strong>ow did the East Ghouta conflict start, Syria?</strong><strong>; and</strong><strong> (2) </strong><strong>h</strong><strong>ow is Ghouta Timur after the release of Bashar al-Assad ?. The object under study is the national and international online news media. The research method used is qualitative method. Data collection is used with watch and note techniques. Data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique. To test the validity of data, the technique used is triangulation technique. The results of this study are: (1) East Ghouta </strong><strong>c</strong><strong>onflicts, Syria started on March 15, 2011. This research aims to describe the psychological conflict that can impact the changes of Faris and Inayah attitudes when acting on novel Lail wa Qudbhan by Najib al-Kailani. The approach of this research is the psychology of literature that discusses of the psychology aspects of figures in the work or is called the textual approach. The theory used to study the psychology of figures in this research is Carl Gustav Jung’s psychology theory and focused on the archetypes of the character’s unconsciousness. The research method used is a qualitative method, documentation technic with descriptive analysis of data analysis. There is also the result of this study found that the cause of the change in attitude of Faris and Inayah figures is their unconscious archetype. Faris’s archetype consists of a persona obstinacy, a shadow of killing and copulation, his anima is uncontrolled emotional, a great mother who brings destruction, wise old man who advise and teach patience, and Self want freedom of life and happiness. While Inayah’s archetype consists of a persona of a happy wife, a shadow of murder an indidelity, an animus of rational and stubborn thinking, a great mother who loves, wise old man who teaches patience, and Self want freedom and happiness.

<p><strong>This article aims to describe the chemical weapons conflicts in Ghouta East, Syria based on the perspective of Edmund Husserl. The problems to be studied are the chemical weapons conflict in East Ghouta; the impact of chemical weapons use, and media in Indonesia's view of the chemical weapons conflict in East Ghouta through the line of phenomenology theory of Edmund Husserl. The research method used is the qualitative method. Data collection is used with watching, seeing, reading, and note techniques. The data analysis technique used is the descriptive analysis technique. To examine the validity of data, the technique used is the triangulation technique. Think-Pair-Share technique is one of the cooperative learning strategies that promote student involvement in the classroom. This strategy makes students engaged in in-class activities such as discussions and provides opportunities to share their ideas with others. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of the Think-Pair-Share strategy in teaching speaking skill for secondary students. A qualitative method with a descriptive analysis was undertaken in this study. The sample was twenty students of eighth grade. The data was collected through interviews, observation, and document analysis. The data analysis technique used was presented in a descriptive form. The results indicated the implementation of the Think-Pair-Share technique during the learning process took place following the stages that have been stated in the learning process plan made by the teacher. Appreciation for the implementation of the Think-Pair-Share technique both from students is quite good. Students stated that they can overcome the constraints in the learning process of speaking activity through Think-Pair-Share.

Competition in the restaurant and cafe industry at this time is very tight and competitive. This is marked by the growing number of new competitors in the world of Resto and Cafe. The restaurant and cafe industry as one of the food and beverage supply sectors that can support national and regional economic development. In Depok, there are 170 restaurants and cafes operating. The purpose of this study was to find out how the results of the implementation of Marketing Strategy During the Covid19 Pandemic at Like No Other Cafe Depok. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. Using interviews, questionnaires and observations to related parties as data collection techniques. Thus, the data analysis techniques used were VRIO and PESTLE analysis to analyze the business environment, profitability analysis to evaluate the results of the implementation of the marketing mix program used and descriptive analysis to analyze planning, implementation and marketing strategy activities. The results showed that the strategy implemented by Like No Other Cafe during the Covid19 pandemic was considered effective so that Like No Other Cafe was still able to survive and generate income even though the income was only 50% of normal conditions.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the cultural values in the ritual of Bulangan Londong Sembangan Suke Barata as part of the Toraja indigenous people life. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method. Meanwhile, the respondents involved in this study include culturist, linguists, and the Toraja community. The research instruments used in this study were document files, interviews with the subjects, and observations using a video recorder that recorded the ritual process of Bulangan Londong Sembangan Suke Barata. The data analysis technique in this study includes three main steps, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the cultural values contained in the rituals of the Bulang Londong Sembangan Suke Barata were 'Manuk' which symbolized the value of the work ethic, 'Ussembang Suke Barata' which represented the religious value of bamboo slashed by 'Mina', and 'Kayunan Londong' which personifies the leader's patriotic value.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki nilai-nilai budaya dari ritual bulangan londong sembangan suke barata dari masyarakat adat Toraja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Responden penelitian ini adalah budayawan, ahli bahasa, dan komunitas Toraja. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah file dokumen, wawancara dengan subjek, dan pengamatan dengan menggunakan perekam video pada ritual bulangan londong sembangan suke barata. Teknik analisis data mencakup tiga langkah utama, pengurangan data, presentasi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai budaya yang terkandung dalam ritual bulangan londong sembangan suke barata adalah manuk yang melambangkan nilai etos kerja, ussembang suke barata yang mewakili nilai religius bambu yang ditebas oleh mina, dan kayunan londong sebagai personifikasi nilai patriotik pemimpin.

Mult</span><span>i</span><span lang="EN-US"> interpretation is inseparable from the consciousness and unconscious of the subject of the author, as well as the process of reconstruction by the reader. Based on this article this article aims to describe the results of deconstructing binary opposition readings on the story of <em>Kritikus Adinan</em> by Budi Darma. The data source used is the story of <em>Kritikus Adinan.</em> The research method used is descriptive analysis with the theoretical perspective of deconstruction of Jaques Derrida. Based on the findings and data analysis, the results show the following. <em>First</em>, the deconstruction readings of the <em>Kritikus Adinan</em> can not be separated from the word-scoring process as Jaques Derrida puts it in deconstruction theory. <em>Secondly</em>, the reconstruction of Kritkus Adinan’s story leads to unfamiliarity but leads the reader to discover the marginalized texts.<em> Third</em>, based on the results of deconstruction reading in the story of <em>Kritikus Adinan</em>, there is a binary opposition that has been denied and broken by the author by presenting a reversal of fact.  Suggestions that can be recommended are many other literary works that are worthy and important to be reviewed by other researchers to uncover the phenomenon of reversing the facts by the author.</span></p>

This research is entitled Conceptual Metaphors of Setya Novanto'case; In the newspaper. The purpose of this research is to know the meaning and function of the metaphor, this study also tries to find out the conceptualizations of politics. In this case, the author uses the theory of Lakoff and Johnson. Data were taken from 4 news from people's mind newspaper Tuesday 28 November 2017, Kompas daily pad Monday 20 November 2017, new compass on 22 November 2017 and people's mind on 20 November 2017 . in this research the writer use a qualitative research Method. Which all of the data are they presented descriptively. From the analysis, the result found 4 political discourses in conceptual metaphor in the newspaper about Setya Novanto cases. From 175 metaphorical statements, the researcher found 55 metaphors. that is found 45 % as objects or goods that can be traded.30 % politics as a battle,10% as a war and 15 % as a race. Social media becomes a space to express feelings and opinions freely. However, freedom of speech is now abused by internet citizens to freely express words that mean rude, blasphemous, insulting, or in language science called disfemism. This research aims to describe the form and function of disfemism in the comment column of kekeyi public figure's Instagram @rahmawatikekeyiputricantikka23. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative method. The research data are words, phrases, and sentences containing disfemism in the comments column of the Instagram @rahmawatikekeyiputricantikka23 in July 2020. The data collection method uses the simak method with a recording technique—data collection techniques with documentation techniques. Data analysis uses the agih method with basic natural elements, substitution or substitution techniques, and removal techniques. Based on the results of this study found 279 data on disfemism. The found forms of disfemism are words, phrases, and phrases. The word disfemism form amounts to 90 data, the form of phrase disfemism amounts to 100 data, and the expression disfemism form amounts to 89 data. There are seven functions of disfemism found in this study, among them: (a) as an intermediary to express taboo or indecent things, (b) as a sign of dislike, hate, and disrespect, (c) as an intermediary to express anger or aggravation, (d) as a negative depiction of something, (e) as a means of insulting and mocking, (f) as a means of criticizing, and (g) as a means to exaggerate something and scold.
