Think-Pair-Share technique is one of the cooperative learning strategies that promote student involvement in the classroom. This strategy makes students engaged in in-class activities such as discussions and provides opportunities to share their ideas with others. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of the Think-Pair-Share strategy in teaching speaking skill for secondary students. A qualitative method with a descriptive analysis was undertaken in this study. The sample was twenty students of eighth grade. The data was collected through interviews, observation, and document analysis. The data analysis technique used was presented in a descriptive form. The results indicated the implementation of the Think-Pair-Share technique during the learning process took place following the stages that have been stated in the learning process plan made by the teacher. Appreciation for the implementation of the Think-Pair-Share technique both from students is quite good. Students stated that they can overcome the constraints in the learning process of speaking activity through Think-Pair-Share.

This research reported the implication of students’ indiscipline behaviour in teaching and learning process. In conducting the study, researchers used descriptive qualitative approach in order to describe the implication of indiscipline behaviour in teaching and learning process. By using purposive sampling, we invited ten students of Physical Education, Sport, Health, and Recreation of Artha Wacana Christian University, Kupang. The data were collected from observation-participation, indepth-interviews and documentation. Data analysis technique used was qualitative method. The result indicates that the implications of students’ indiscipline behavior in teaching and learning process are: 1) loss of confidence in self irresponsibility, 2) the emergence of horizontal disharmony, 3) learning atmosphere is not conducive, 4) poor academic achievement, and 5) self-compunction and disappointed.

This study aims to improve children's creativity in learning dance through learning strategies while playing in Sa'adatul Khidmah Islamic Kindergarten in Jambi City. This study is a classroom action research. The design of this study refers to the Kemmis and Mc Taggart models, covering planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were children in group B, Islamic Kindergarten Sa'adatul Khidmah Kota Jambi, which amounted to 16 children, consisting of 8 boys and 8 girls. The collaborator of this research is the Sa'adatul Khidmah Islamic Kindergarten Dance Teacher in Jambi City. The data collection technique used is observation. The research instruments are observation sheets and diaries. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis both quantitative and qualitative. The results of the study show that children's creativity can be improved after being given action through play-learning strategies that are applied to dance learning. The results of the observation before the action showed that the average score of creativity obtained by the child was 57.9. There are two aspects of undeveloped creativity, namely originality and elaboration. In the first cycle the average score of creativity increased to 85.83 and all aspects of creativity have developed but there are two aspects whose development has not been optimal, namely flexibility and elaboration. In the second cycle the score of creativity increased to 96.66 on average and all aspects of creativity had grown optimally. The implication of this study is that the teacher will implement a learning strategy while playing to improve children's creativity in dance learning.

Abstract.  This research is pra-experimental design that aims to determine effectiveness of student‟s learning interest and outcomes toward learning strategies based humor on genetic subject of student grade XII SMA Negeri 11 Makassar. Independent Variabe in this research is the application of learning strategies based humor on genetic subject, while the dependent variable is the student‟s learning interest and outcomes of genetic subject. The population in this study were all students of class XII SMA Negeri 11 Makassar with totally seven classes, while the sample is student‟s grade XII with totally 66 students. Pretest-posstest was used as data collection technique, by used a questionnaire of student learning interest and genetic  achivement test. Data analysis technique that used is a descriptive analysis using the n-gain and inferential analysis using paired sample t-test. Based on the descriptive analysis showed that n-gain value of student‟s interest and learning outcomes of genetics achieve an increase of >75% in the category of medium-high, which are respectively 77% and 92%, whereas the inferential analysis using SPSS showed a significance value 0.000 > α = 0.05 which indicates H0 isrejected and H1 is accepted, that the known application learning strategies based humor on genetic subject  has a significant influence (real) towards the student‟s learning interests  and outcomes. Therefore, based on these two data analysis concluded that the learning strategies based humor on genetic subject effectively to student‟s learning interest and outcomes of student of grade XII SMA Negeri 11 Makassar. <p><strong>This research article writing aims to describe East Ghouta post the deliverance of Bashar al-Assad based on the perspective of phenomenology study of Edmund Husserl. The issues to be studied are: (1) </strong><strong>h</strong><strong>ow did the East Ghouta conflict start, Syria?</strong><strong>; and</strong><strong> (2) </strong><strong>h</strong><strong>ow is Ghouta Timur after the release of Bashar al-Assad ?. The object under study is the national and international online news media. The research method used is qualitative method. Data collection is used with watch and note techniques. Data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique. To test the validity of data, the technique used is triangulation technique. The results of this study are: (1) East Ghouta </strong><strong>c</strong><strong>onflicts, Syria started on March 15, 2011. In addition to the background of the Arab Spring events, it turns out the level of emotionality of the President, Bashar al-Assad is quite lit whenever there is something that is not in his heart, which eventually led to hundreds of thousands of civilian lives lost and millions more fled</strong><strong>; and</strong><strong> (2) </strong><strong>a</strong><strong>fter 6 years of slipping into a totally inhumane empire, </strong><strong>Ghouta</strong><strong> were finally freed from the shackles of their own warden by Bashar al-Assad.</strong></p><p><strong><em>Keywords</em></strong> - <em>East Ghouta, deliverance, Bashar al-Assad, phenomenology</em></p>

In listening to speeches sometimes there is a misunderstanding in interpreting the meaning of the speech in question. Through deixis can help listeners to understand the intended meaning of utterances in speech. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to describe the types of deixis in speeches delivered by Mike Pompeo and Retno Marsudi. This study used a qualitative method using descriptive analysis as a data analysis technique. Data collection techniques used documentation techniques sourced from speeches by Mike Pompeo and Retno Marsudi. The research data was collected from 6 speeches sourced from 3 speeches delivered by Mike Pompeo and 3 speeches delivered by Retno Marsudi. The data analysis technique is by identifying and interpreting all types of deixis in speeches, classifying the types of deixis found in ministerial speeches, and making conclusions. The results show that there are five types of deixis found in Mike Pompeo speech, namely: people deixis, time deixis, place deixis, social deixis, and discourse deixis. Meanwhile, in Retno Marsudi speech, only 4 types of deixis were found, namely; people deixis, time deixis, social deixis, and discourse deixis. Differences are shown in the use of place deixis. The most dominant deixis used is person deixis in both speeches. Thus, the dominant type of deixis in speech can reflect the relationship between language structure and context that is not separated and must be communicated contextually and pragmatically. When listening to a speech, listeners can identify several types of deixis and make it easier for listeners to know the types of deixis in the speech.

Abstract: This study aims to collect data and describe the perceptions of the lecturers of socialhumanities Prof. DR. HAMKA (UHAMKA) about the online learning process that took placeduring the Covid-19 pandemic. This is very important to know because the future withtechnological advances in the industrial era 4.0 learning like this must be faced. The method usedin this research is descriptive qualitative. The approach of this qualitative method is a case studywith a questionnaire instrument. The data analysis technique in this case study was carried out byentering data from Google Forms into Microsoft Excel. The results showed that there were stilllecturers who stated that they had encountered obstacles in implementing online learning behindthe many lecturers who were ready to face virtual learning situations during the pandemic. Then,the perceptions of social humanities lecturers on the learning process show that the perception ofpedagogic competence is at a score of 66 (sufficient), the perception of personality competence isat a score of 77 (good), the perception of social competence is at a score of 74 (sufficient), and theperception of professional competence is at a score of 78 (good).Key Words: Persepsi, PJJ, Dosen, Pandemi Covid-19

Speaking Ability was the important aspect in communication. The aim of the study was to investigate the improving speaking ability through storytelling in teaching speaking at eight grade of SMAN 1 Lambitu. This research used classroom action research. The subjects in this research were the students at the eleventh grade of SMAN 1 Lambitu. The sample were 16 students in one class. The researcher used the technique of storytelling through recount text to improve speaking skill. Quantitative data analysis technique used this research through average score and percentage of students’ test, while qualitative data analysis was taken from analysis of observation during the classroom. The result of this study was in cycle I was at fair category (60-70) which average score was 67,4. It indicated the students’ ability in storytelling was not active (<50%)., which the critical success 31,5%. While in cycle II, the result of students’ score was 75,3, which means that the students were good category (60-79). The result was indicated that the students habits in storytelling technique in cycle II was active (<80%). Moreover the result of observation were student enjoy the lesson and follow the teaching and learning process smoothly and regularly. So, the conclusion that story telling technique was improving students’ speaking ability at Eleventh Grade of SMA 1 Lambitu.

This research was carried out with the objectives: 1) to improve the ability of teachers in implementing learning from designing, implementing, to evaluating, 2) to determine the frequency level of implementation of clinical supervision by school principals, and 3) the availability of quality supervision documents. This research method uses school action research which is carried out in two cycles consisting of Planning, Implementation, Observation, and Reflection. The subjects in the study were 60 teachers at SMP Negeri 6 Mataram. This research instrument uses observation sheets, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that clinical supervision can improve teacher competence in the learning process at SMP Negeri 6 Mataram. Based on the results of data analysis of clinical supervision results, it can be concluded that; 1) of 60 teachers who obtained a minimum of Good as many as 49 people (81.67%), 2) of 60 teachers 100% of teachers were supervised, and 3) Schools had quality documents in the form of supervision programs, supervision reports, and follow-up programs.

This study aims to improve the competence of teachers of SMK Negeri 4 Gowa in carrying out the learning process in the classroom through a supervision program. This research method uses action research. The subjects of this study were teachers at SMK Negeri 4 Gowa. This research instrument uses observation and documentation. While the data analysis technique used descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the competence of teachers at SMK Negeri 4 Gowa in implementing the learning process in the classroom through the supervision program has increased. With an intensive supervision and guidance program, it is proven to be able to improve the professionalism of teachers in classroom learning.
