In past few years, Indonesian people have a lot of interest in traveling and other outdoor activities like hiking, camping, etc. People start to explore the beauty of Indonesia and it impacts to the increase in Indonesia tourism. This condition makes many people looking for stuffs to support their outdoor activities. This increasing demand stimulates many local companies produce outdoor gear and this market facing a tighter competition than before. The purpose of this research is to analyze the proper strategy for PT. XYZ in facing the market competition. Defining internal and external factors of the company are important in formulating the alternative strategies. Therefore, this research use descriptive qualitative method and using CPM Matrix, IFE Matrix, EFE Matrix, SWOT Matrix, IE Matrix, and QSPM to find out the suitable strategy which will help the company survive in market competition. In final result, the suitable strategy for PT. XYZ is developing the waterproof product (shoes and carrier) for tropical product.

The topic of this research is "Learning the Book of Al-Muhadasah Wa Muthala'ahAl-Arabiyah Juz Awwal for the Development of Maharah Kalam in the IslamicBoarding School Darul Lughah Waddirosatil Islamiyah, Seninan Akkor PelengaanPamekasan Madura, East Java". Every year there must be acceptance of newsantri in all of the rapidly developing huts in Indonesia, The new santri usuallyfind it difficult to speak Arabic because they don't know much about Arabicbefore entering pondok. This research aim to know the steps of learning and thepositive factors that influence the learning. This research use qualitative researchmethods. The results of this study are as follows: 1. Learning Steps to the Book"Al-Muhadasah Wa Muthala'ah Al-Arabiyah Juz Awwal" the teacher greets,remembering the students last lesson, giving new teaching material, the teacherreading the Muhadasah text and the students practiced the Muhadasah text thestudents were allowed to ask about the difficult mufrodat, the students translatedthe muhadasah text according to their abilities, then the teacher interpreted thewhole of the Muhadasah text. then the teacher gives training about sometimesthe teacher gives Arabic language games, the teacher tells students to memorize the muhadasah text and tells them to have two or two in front of the class, at the end of the lesson the teacher gives advice and motivation. 2. There are twopositive factors in the Learning of the Book "Al-Muhadasah Wa Muthala'ahAl-Arabiyah Juz Awwal" namely internal and external factors, internal factorsnamely: provisional teachers, the use of learning methodologies and appropriateteaching materials, students are eager to learn. External factors are: the scope ofthe Arabic language contained in the cottage.

This research aims to find out the benefits of using the Card Payment Inatrument in Tegal. This research was conducted in the Tegal by taking 100 respondents to visitors shopping center in Tegal. The respondent despite into two groups, 50 male respondents and 50 female respondents this research use qualitative method. Respondents were randomly selected and the data were collected based on in depth interview results. The results of this research show that the Card Payment Method has a huge benefit for its users. Some societies state. able to bring cost-effective behavior because it can control spending. Of money. However, there are also people who give the perception that APMK is a secure payment instrument because mostly card has a Personal Indentification Number in it. The aim of this study is to explain the role of remuneration in improving the performance of library employees. This study uses the qualitative method which the population is all employees numbering 17 people. Based on interactive analysis methods and ethnographic techniques, its took In-depth interview and observations. Using this analysis, the result showed that the remuneration has an important role in improving employees performance. Some internal and external factors influence it so that optimal performance is obtained. Generally, employees expect that the remuneration has been high to be accepted like as expected. Most employees demands such remuneration to meet their daily needs. External factors also has a strong role so the employees demand high, but not balanced with high performance.

The purpose of this research is to analyze mathematical understanding ability, especially students of  mathematics education at second semester. Understanding ability that was researched is about group of algebra structure. This research use descriptif qualitative method. Subject at this research are second semester  mathematics education student in Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta in academic year 2018/2019. Data in this research were  obtained with interview, test, and documentation. Results showed student with high creative attitude has translation ability, interpretation ability, and exploration ability. Student with medium creative attitude has translation ability and  interpretation ability, but  hasn’t exploration ability. The First Thousand Days of Life, which is 270 days during pregnancy and 730 days in the first life of the baby, is a sensitive period because the problems that arise are permanent. The biggest problem that occurs in children is stunting (37.2%). In addition, one factor that supports the nutritional status of women of childbearing age who still experience Chronic Energy (20.8%). The best approach is to prepare the bridge and groom's nutritional status and increase knowledge about the First 1000 Days of Life. The purpose of this study is to determine the description of nutritional status of prospective brides based on knowledge about the First 1000 Days of Life. This research use qualitative method with cross sectional design with sampling accidental sampling within 1 week with result of 21 bride candidate. Result of nutritional status of bride candidate is normal (85,7%), while for knowledge about 1000 First Day of Life included in enough category (57,1%). Suggestion for the office of religious affairs is that on pre-marriage counseling is given material about the First 1000 Days of Life. Some extension materials about the motto of the card to healthy, calcium-containing foods and the suggestion to consume tablets added blood.

Swot analysis is a problem solving process in determining the best strategy for the progress of the organization by looking at aspects of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Swot analysis is accompanied by looking at the efas ifas and swot matrix for measuring the strategy assessment that will be taken. <p>Andesite stone mining activities in Bogor area is now growing, one of the andesite stone processing business is PT Duta Keluarga Imfaco located in Bogor Regency, West Java. The economically valuable andesit stone is expected to be the mainstay of the income of the surrounding community, characterized by the increasing market demand and the growing interest of the community towards andesite stone. The purpose of this study are (1) to identify internal and external factors of PT Imfaco Family Ambassador; (2) Developing appropriate market development strategies; and (3) Develop alternative strategies of andesite stone marketing development. The study used descriptive and analytic methods that are case studies. Determination of respondents with purposive sampling method, with consideration that mastered the problems to be asked. Data analysis with IFE and EFE matrix to identify internal and external factor of company, then mapping with IE matrix, to see company position. Preparation of strategy with SWOT matrix, yield several alternative strategies that can be implemented. The final stage with the QSP matrix, to determine the priority of the most appropriate strategy to be implemented. Based on the results of IFE and EFE matrix analysis, indicates the company is in a stable position in responding to external situations. The result of analysis with IE matrix, company is in quadrant V, that is growth and stability, where strategy that can be done is market penetration and business development. Results of analysis with SWOT matrix obtained alternative strategies that can be implemented and with the QSP matrix obtained the most appropriate strategy to be implemented in order to develop the company's marketing strategy is to expand the marketing network.</p>

Empathy (Burns and Lesseig, 2017) is a skill that is rarely discussed in planning mathematics lessons. The objective of this research is to initiate and explore how mathematics learning can develop empathy skills to students using STEAM based project. This research use qualitative method, in which the observation was executed when students were developing until launching the application prototype to a limited audience. The application created with Google Sheets was called Your Energy Counter, intended to count the energy gathered from the food consumed by the user. This research revealed how empathy was formed during the project execution and how students are able to reflect on themselves being empathetic to others during mathematics lessons.

Case overview This paper presents the genesis and motivating factors that stimulate a managing director of a housing development (D&B Private Limited Company) to introduce innovation as a strategic solution to the challenges which hinder his firm's growth. The recently launched Ten Malaysian Plan and the Sustainable Programme for Corporate Malaysia are identified as the two stimulating events that triggered the initiation and subsequent implementation of innovation into Design and Build Sdn Bhd. Innovation has been recognized as an endeavor that impacts positively and significantly the performance of the firm that innovates. There was a major focus on factors that enhance innovation of a firm: structure, culture, resources and how to address or react to external factors such as government regulation on innovation, environmental uncertainty and market competition. The quest to be an innovative firm has led to major changes in the structure, culture and review of the firm intangible resources. Coupled with some corporate responsibilities, Design and Build Sdn Bhd has been recognized for its unique performance resulting from the competitive advantage derived from this very idea of innovations. Penelitian ini bertujuanmengidentifikasi faktor-faktor internal maupun eksternal yang memengaruhi keberadaan IKM TopengMalangan dan merumuskan strategi pengembangannya. Identifikasi permasalahan dan faktor-faktortersebut dilakukan dalam Focus Group Discussion (FGD) yang melibatkan pelaku usaha, pemerhati budaya,akademisi, pemerintah daerah dan peneliti. Hasil FGD kemudian dianalisis dan dikembangkan denganmatriks SWOT sehingga menghasilkan rumusan strategi pengembangan IKM Topeng Malangan. Untukmempertajam rumusan strategi ini agar lebih efektif dalam implementasinya, maka dilakukan pula analisismenggunakan matriks IFAS dan EFAS. Hasilnya adalah rumusan akhir strategi pengembangan IKMTopeng Malangan yang lebih berkonsentrasi pada strategi SO (Strength-Opportunities) yakni penggunaankekuatan yang dimiliki IKM Topeng Malangan untuk memanfaatkan peluang secara maksimal.Kata kunci: strategi pengembangan, IKM, topeng malangan, SWOTABSTRACTTopeng Malangan is one of potential cultural products developed to preserve culture and bring revenuefor stakeholder in Malang. This study aims to identify internal and external factors affecting the existence ofsmall medium enterprise (SME) Topeng Malangan and formulate its development strategy. The identificationof problem and factors is done by focus group discussions (FGD) involving businessmen, cultural observer,academician, regional government and researchers. The results of FGD is then analyzed and developedby using SWOT matrix in order to determine formula of SME development strategies. To sharpen thestrategy more effective in implementation, the analysis using IFAS and EFAS matrix is conducted. Theresult is final formula for SME Topeng Malangan development strategy that is more focused on strategySO (Strength - Opportunities); which is the utilization of strength organization of SME Topeng Malanganfor taking advantage of opportunities.Key words: development strategy, SME, topeng malangan, SWOT
