The scientific works of scholars and experts dedicated to conceptology, intercultural communication, and linguistics became the foundation for this research. The author analyzes bibliography, presents various approaches towards conceptology, formulates main conclusions of recent research on the indicated problematic, as well as provides specific examples. Research of the concepts presented in different linguistic worldviews, including Russian linguistic paradigm of the world, is first and foremost substantiated by the importance of intercultural communication in the current context. The relevance of this topic is defined by the significance of studying the dialogue of cultures, language, culture and mentality. The selected topic is of interest to the philosophers, linguists, culturologists and foreign language pedagogues. In anthropological linguistics, cognitive linguistics, psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, ethnolinguistics, linguoculturology and other fields, the subject of research is the concept of the dialogue of cultures along with interaction between language, culture and mentality. The development of Russian relations on international arena over the past decade led to active cooperation in the area of education, economy, trade and tourism. Therefore, there is an urgent need for studying communication in the situation of interaction between the representatives of Russian and foreign cultures from the perspective of teaching languages as a means of intercultural communication. The need to study communication is justified by different communication behavior in Russia and other countries in the cultural aspect. Insufficient understanding of the language of communication can result in communication failures and even initiate cross-cultural conflict. In the following paragraphs of this article, the author gives detailed attention to specificity of the concept in the linguistic worldviews.

The contemporary glottodidactics is an interdisciplinary science, which is reflected, among others, in the transition from mono- to bi- and multiculturalism. The main objective of this paper is to define the relationships between, and conditions of, intercultural teaching and foreign language communication. The following issues will be explored in detail: - discussion of the main assumptions of the post-communicative paradigm of contemporary glottodidactics; - definition of the subject of cultural studies and linguistics in the context of the relationships between “language and culture”; - development of relationships in terms of communication and intercultural competence; - definition of the main objective of intercultural communication; - analysis of relationships as well as intercultural teaching and communication based on examples.

The object of this research is human rights and freedoms as a unique social and cultural phenomenon, and the highest value of the society. The subject of this research is the classification and genesis of human rights, and changes therein in light of the recent scientific achievements and global transformations taking place in socioeconomic, political, and cultural life. The article examines different approaches of modern science towards classification of human rights, analyzes the origins and evolution of the institution of human rights and freedoms based on the generational approach, as well as their development prospects in the current context. The author underlines that the set of human rights of the first three generations, embodies in the international documents and constitutional practice of majority of the democratic countries, cannot be considered exhaustive, and there is potential for their extension due to the emergence of new types of rights, as well as advancement of the mechanisms for their enforcement. The author familiarizes the audience with the ideas that underlie the forming fourth and fifth generation, including the little-known opinion of a remarkable legal expert Sergei Iventiev, The conclusion is made that the current stage of evolution of the institution of rights and freedoms largely depends on protection of the spiritual and moral values of the individual and society.

One of the paramount peculiarities of the Chinese terms is their sinicization. Sinicization of the term is often viewed a translation and adaptation of foreign language terms to the specifics of Chinese language. This implies that the new word is being rooted in the Chinese “soil” and subsequently recognized as Chinese native. The subject of this research is the peculiarities of Chinese and Russian linguistic terminology. The goal is to compare the motivation of Chinese and Russian linguistic terminology and determine the influencing factors. The research material was collected from the Dacihai Dictionary and the Linguistic Encyclopedic Dictionary, and consists of more than 6,000 terminological units. The article employs the methods of description, comparison, and continuous sampling. The scientific novelty lies in determination of the factors that influence the motivation of Chinese linguistic terminology, as well as in its comparison with Russian linguistic terminology. The conclusion is made that Chinese terms have stronger motivation than Russian terms. On the one hand, Chinese characters are the ideograms that convey the thought in a motivational form, and offer more opportunities for increasing semantic transparency. On the other hand, the syllabic characteristics of Chinese language limit the possibility of transliteration of foreign words. With the exception of proper names, the Chinese terminology features a very few transliterated or partially transliterated terms.

Tras los acontecimientos bélicos que asolaron el mundo durante el siglo XX, en concreto, a partid de 1980, aumento el interés y el acercamiento teórico sobre el pasado y la memoria. Partiendo de ello, la cuestión a tratar en el presente trabajo es: qué características tiene nuestro presente y cómo esto determina algunas formas de acceso al pasado. Para luego preguntarnos sobre la relación que se establece con los memoriales, es decir, en qué medida el contexto o condiciones del sujeto mediatizan su relación con la memoria. Dado que la reflexión acerca de la memoria puede estar condicionada por las características propias de nuestro contexto: aceleración social. El acercamiento que puede tener un sujeto perteneciente a las generaciones más alejadas de lo acontecido en el siglo XX difiere mucho de la relación que pueden tener aquellos que vivieron el suceso o las consecuencias de una forma más inmediata. Por ello, debemos preguntarnos: ¿Hemos -sobre todo las generaciones más jóvenes- volcado la memoria y el conocimiento en objetos externos a los que recurrir y de esa manera no llevar el peso y poder adaptarnos al contexto actual? Estos objetos portadores de la memoria y conocimiento, como las imágenes, internet, o los memoriales, etc. ¿Están sólo bajo una lógica del consumo inmediato?, o ¿es el tipo de uso más potenciado? ¿Qué relación establecemos con los memoriales? After the warlike events that devastated the world during the 20th century, specifically, from 1980, interest and the theoretical approach on the past and memory increased. Starting from this, the question to be dealt with in the present work is: what characteristics does our present have and how this determines some forms of access to the past. To then ask ourselves about the relationship that is established with memorials, that is, to what extent the context or conditions of the subject mediate his relationship with memory. Since the reflection on memory can be conditioned by the characteristics of our context: social acceleration. The approach that a subject belonging to the generations furthest away from what happened in the twentieth century may have differs greatly from the relationship that those who experienced the event or the consequences can have in a more immediate way. For this reason, we must ask ourselves: Have we - especially the younger generations - turned memory and knowledge into external objects to turn to and thus not carry the weight and be able to adapt to the current context? These objects that carry memory and knowledge, such as images, the internet, or memorials, etc. Are they only under a logic of immediate consumption? Or is it the most enhanced type of use? What relationship do we establish with the memorials? Monuments created in order to remember.

The essence of this topic is the conversation about (The Verses of Bahrain) mentioned in the Book of God Almighty, as these verses are mentioned five times in the Qur’an. The honorable one, and that is why this research was the subject of five investigations. The researcher spoke in those investigations about the verses in which the word (Bahrain) came in Deuteronomy, The researcher dealt with the many benefits and blessings of these seas, as their fresh and salty waters have many benefits, and countless and countless goodies, and there is the great divine wisdom in the isthmus and the interdicted stone, which was mentioned in those verses, and the differences of scholars in the past and present in that barrier, and how modern science has interpreted that. In the course of the research, the researcher mentioned the living creatures that live inside these seas, as well as extracting pearls and coral from the depths of these vast oceans, and seeing the large ships that pierce the water in an enormous way back and forth, all with the power of God Almighty. As for the method and nature of the study, it is represented in the inductive analytical method, by collecting the verses in question, explaining and interpreting them according to the pleasure of the Almighty God from ancient and modern sources, and this method is what researchers follow in such research. The most important results of this research can be summarized as follows: The seas have a great variety of importance and that is why they took a good space from the Holy Book. And that the Signs of the Sea include a scientific miracle that modern science recently discovered. That the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, did not explain such verses, because the time has not yet come for them. That such verses clearly indicate the greatness and enormous power of God.

The objective of this article is to provide a historical overview of the learning trends that have marked several fields over the past two centuries, and from which the methods of teaching foreign languages ​​have been largely inspired. Teaching and learning a foreign language has always been a major concern of officials working in the education sector. Finding a unique method, perfect and suitable for all learners was the center of interest of most researchers of all backgrounds, linguists, educators or trainers. Three major theories of learning have really changed the field of education and specifically the field of foreign language acquisition. These three currents are respectively behaviorism, cognitivism and constructivism. Each current had its supporters and detractors depending on the progress made at the end of their research. The methods that emerged from these three learning theories also had their ups and downs depending on the degree to which the desired objectives were achieved. In the course of this study, we plan to bypass, in chronological order, the different methods and approaches, coming from the three streams, and practiced in the teaching of foreign languages. Our attention will be focused on the study of the audio-oral method, the audio-visual method, the communicative approach and the skills-based approach. We also offer, in this article, a discussion whose interest is to elucidate the circumstances which led to the success or failure of a particular method. We will also focus on the successes and limitations of each of these methods. The conclusion will be the subject of a reflection on all the points covered in the article while offering an opening on other solutions that can improve the teaching / learning of foreign languages.

Abstract This paper argues that linguistic typology, and linguistics more generally, got off to a good start in the 19th century with scholars like Wilhelm von Humboldt and Georg von der Gabelentz, where the understanding was that each language manifests a unique world view, and it is important to study and compare those world views. This tradition is still alive, but was sidelined and even denigrated for many years due to the rise of Structuralism, which attempted to study language structures divorced from their linguistic and socio-cultural contexts. The paper reviews the understandings the early scholars had and points out their similarities with cutting edge current views in cognitive linguistics, construction grammar, and interactional linguistics, which had to be rediscovered due to the influence of Structuralism for so many years. It then argues that we should make linguistic typology (and linguistics more generally) more modern, scientific, and empirical by returning to our roots.

This report is based on my own experience, which i gained through assisting foreign language instruction and linguistics research at the University of Chicago. Over the past few years, technology has become increasingly integrated in language instruction and changed not only the content but also the teaching paradigm. Instructors approach technology quite differently from the past and students are more actively involved in their learning process. Although it is open to dispute whether my observations correlate to general changes in the field of instructional technology, this script, however, may provide a vivid description of a recent situation in this field and suggest a future direction of the working ground. For over eight years my career has been dedicated to the uses of technology in higher education. I began my career as an intern in the Advanced Multimedia Production Studio at Northwestern University, Illinois in 1999, and since 2000 have served as a manager and multimedia specialist in the Center for the Study of Languages at the University of Chicago (U of C). Over my period at the U of C, my daily tasks have changed although the crucial role of my position has not. I did and still do define the basis of my job as providing instructors with technology assistance for more effective teaching. Meanwhile, a subtle change has occurred: recently instructors began doing certain tasks which earlier were done by me or other trained staff. One of the reasons for this change is that many instructors now seem to consider technology not only as a pedagogical medium but also a tool that they need to learn how to use and incorporate into class. This use of technology often runs parallel with the changing roles of their counterpart, the students. This report is based on my own experience, which I gained through assisting foreign language instruction and linguistics research at the U of C. The subject of this research is rhythm as the cultural and fundamental philosophical principle of time organization of systems of various rank. The goal consists in the analysis of possibilities of creating the general theory of rhythm. The author set the following tasks: analyze ethnocultural traditions, which in the cognitive aspect lean on the maturity of rhythm-sensible  way of thinking; analyze the reflections of Ancient Greek natural philosophers on the meaning of rhythm; trace the theme of rhythm in art, science and practices of the XIX – XXI centuries.; problematize the question on the meaning of rhythmology in interpretation of the new vectors of cognitive evolution at the present time. Articulation of the problem of rhythm as the universal requires consideration of cosmic-nature, planetary, social, cultural, and personal realities (worlds). In examination of historical artifacts and ethnographic material, the author takes into account the principles of evolutionary epistemology. The analysis of natural philosophical and ancient Greek worldview is completed with analysis of the language. The novelty consists in articulation and analysis of the problem of rhythm as a cultural universality as the ultimate basis, covering natural, sociocultural and creatively-personal rhythms. The transformations of mentality and way of thinking in cognitive evolution stemmed from matured sensibility in the archaic towards the development of intellect. Rhythmically sensible way of thinking that empathically connects human with nature was developed until the Early Middle Ages. Culture and natural philosophical reflections on the concept of harmony are of essential for comprehension of sensible worldview. Beauty as a formative principle of the universe was conveyed through the set of concepts adopted in the language of modern science. Rhythm as an aesthetic category in natural sciences attracts the attention of researchers dealing with correlations of biosphere, social and cosmic processes. Reflections on the universality of rhythm in the complex evolutionary systems allow reassessing the discord of rhythms (desynchronosis) of the modern global crisis.

El campo de la fraseología ha suscitado el interés en los investigadores a lo largo de muchos años. Esto fue motivo de la aparición de decenas de trabajos relacionados con diferentes perspectivas de dicha disciplina. Este artículo viene como una continuación de algunos trabajos de investigación que hemos realizado a lo largo de los últimos cinco años. En este trabajo incluimos los trabajos que tratan la fraseología desde la perspectiva didáctica de la lengua además de aquellos relacionados con la enseñanza del español como lengua extranjera. Esta relación bibliográfica recoge principalmente los trabajos publicados hasta 2018, es decir que está actualizada. Por ende, los investigadores de esta rama lingüística podrán tener una idea clara y global sobre los temas planteados al respecto. En este repertorio bibliográfico tratamos la fraseología desde su concepción amplia, es decir, que abarca las colocaciones, las locuciones, los enunciados fraseológicos e incluso las paremias. Para una fácil consulta, hemos dividido las fuentes en este repertorio en varias secciones: artículos publicados en revistas y en congresos, capítulos de libros y libros completos que tratan el tema; y memorias de máster y tesis doctorales. Estamos seguros de que estas fuentes representan una guía imprescindible para el estudio de este campo lingüístico. GENERAL BIBLIOGRAPHICAL SOURCES FOR THE STUDY OF SPANISH PHRASEOLOGY FROM THE DIDACTIC PERSPECTIVE AND THE TEACHING OF SPANISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE ABSTRACT Phraseology has received great interest by researchers over time. This is why we found dozens of works related to different perspectives of this discipline. It should be noted that this article comes as a continuation of some research works we have done over the past five years. The present paper includes the works that deal with phraseology from the didactic perspective and teaching Spanish as a foreign language. This bibliographical list mainly includes works published until 2018, that is, it has been updated for contemporary scholars in this branch of linguistics to provide them with a clear and global idea of the topics discussed in this regard. In this bibliographical repertoire, we deal with phraseology in its broad sense, that is, it encompasses collocations, idioms, phraseological statements and even proverbs. For easy consultation of this repertoire, we have divided the sources into several sections: articles published in journals and conferences; books or chapters of books dealing with the subject; and master's and doctoral dissertations.
