<p>Small group discussions (group work) are an important part of the learning process though students are rarely skilled at asking a question. The purpose of this study is to examine student interactions and questioning skills during group work. This research study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The research subjects consist of eight students who were divided heterogeneously into two groups, with four members for each group. The research instrument consists of the researcher herself, a task in the form of a trigonometric ratio group worksheet, and three video cameras to observe discussion activities. One camera was focused on all class activities and two cameras were pointing at each group being observed. All conversation transcripts during the discussion are deciphered, coded, and then analyzed qualitatively. The results of this study show the interaction of conveying opinion/rebuttals, asking questions, and providing answers, with the percentage of giving opinions/ objections were more dominant than other interactions. The ability to ask questions was obtained by 50% of the students having the medium questioning ability and 50% having the low questioning ability, with the level of questions asked at the LOTS level, namely C1 and C3 levels. None of the students had high questioning skills. Of the two groups observed, group A was more active in interacting both in terms of exchanging opinions/rebuttals, asking questions, and providing answers. Suggestions for further research need to be carried out an in-depth analysis of discussion activities both in terms of asking questions or providing feedback to see the emergence of collaborative reasoning.</p>

ABSTRACTThis study aims to find out BIMWIN as a communication strategy for the Islamic CommunityGuidance in Ponorogo Regency in preventing divorce. The location of this study was located inthe Islamic Guidance Office of Ponorogo Regency with the research subjects being the Head of theIslamic Guidance Section in Ponorogo Regency, the chief executive of BIMWIN, the facilitator andBIMWIN participants. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive approach withdata collection methods through interviews, observation and documentation. The results showedthat in an effort to prevent divorce, the Islamic Community Guidance in Ponorogo Regency carriedout Marriage Guidance activities for prospective bridal partners. The mapping of communicantsis based on the sociological and psychological aspects of the participants. The message deliverystrategy is packaged in the form of lectures and group discussions that focus on participants.The media used are LCD projectors, white boards and the Sakinah Family Foundation book. Thestrategy of selecting communicators is based on aspects of credibility and attractiveness so thatthose who are used as communicators in the implementation of BIMWIN are facilitators who havebeen certified in the field of motivators and sakinah family counselors.Keywords: BIMWIN, Communication Strategy, Divorce.

During the terminal phase, access to medicines is critical for people wishing to spend their last days of life at home. Yet, access to medicines can be problematic. The aim of this study was to report the perspectives of specialist and generalist health professionals (HPs) on the issues of community access to medicines for this vulnerable group. A qualitative descriptive study design investigated the views of HPs working in palliative care roles in South Australia. Nurses, doctors and pharmacists described their experiences of accessing medicines for management of terminal phase symptoms during semi-structured focus group discussions. Content analysis identified six themes including: ‘Medication Supply’, ‘Education and Training’, ‘Caregiver Burden’, ‘Safety’, ‘Funding’ and ‘Clinical Governance’. Future projects should aim to address these themes when developing strategies for the management of people wishing to die at home.

Abstrak Penelitian bertujuan untuk analisis penggunaan Schoology pada Mata Pelajaran PPKn terhadap minat belajar siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Srandakan Bantul Tahun 2020. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Srandakan pada bulan Juli sampai Agustus tahun 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah : (1) satu orang Kepala Sekolah SMA N 1 Srandakan Bantul (2) satu orang Guru Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (3) Siswa SMA N 1 Srandakan sejumlah 8 orang. Teknik analisis data melalui pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pemerikasaan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi data. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Schoology memiliki kemudahan dalam mengatur administrasi pembelajaran siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Srandakan karena siswa dapat presensi, mendapat materi hingga evaluasi di Schoology; (2) Schoology dapat mengendalikan minat belajar siswa dalam aspek preventif dengan cara kegiatan belajar menyenangkan, persuasif dengan cara membujuk melalui fitur massages, dan represif dengan cara didatangi rumahnya berdasarkan informasi yang disajikan dalam aplikasi tersebut; (3) Schoology memiliki tampilan seperti media sosial Facebook ditandai warna dasar yang sama yaitu biru dan putih serta menu yang identik; (4) Schoology memiliki keunggulan untuk diskusi pada pembelajaran daring, siswa dapat berdiskusi kelompok dengan guru sebagai pemantik materi dalam fitur Groups; (5) Schoology mengakomodasi aneka macam media pembelajaran antara lain media gambar visual, audio, dan audio visual atau video. Kata Kunci: Schoology, PPKn, Minat Belajar Siswa Abstract The research aims to analyze the use of Schoology in PPKn Subjects on student interest in learning at SMA Negeri 1 Srangkan Bantul in 2020. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Srangkan from July to August 2020. This study used a qualitative descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects of this study were: (1) one principal of SMA N 1 Srangkan Bantul (2) one teacher of Pancasila and Citizenship Education (3) 8 students of SMA N 1 Srangkan. Data analysis techniques through data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Data validity was checked by data triangulation. The results of this study are: (1) Schoology has the convenience of managing the administration of student learning at SMA Negeri 1 Srangkan because students get presence, receive material and evaluation in Schoology; (2) Schoology can control student interest in preventive aspects by means of fun, persuasive learning activities by persuading through massages, and repressive features by visiting their house based on the information presented in the application; (3) Schoology has a display similar to Facebook's social media marked with the same basic colors, namely blue and white and identical menus; (4) Schoology has the advantage of discussions on online learning, students can have group discussions with the teacher as material triggers in the Groups feature; (5) Schoology accommodates various kinds of learning media, including visual images, audio, and audio-visual or video media. Problem-based Learning is a learner-centered approach to education which encourages student participation and group work in the learning process. This method of selfdirected learning is facilitated by the use of small-group discussions. This being the case, it is important for groups to function effectively in order for this learning to occur. These small groups are guided by a facilitator and utilize real-life problems from the clinical settings.

The purpose of this study is to find and describe (1) the use of Mandar ethnic values in the Passayang-Sayang songs of the 1960-1970 period, (2) the use of the Mandar ethnic values in the Passayang-Sayang songs period of 1970-1980, (3) the use of the Mandar ethnic values in the Passayang-Sayang song period of 1980-1990, (4) the use of Mandar ethnic values in the Passayang-Sayang song period of 1990-2000, (5) the use of the Mandar ethnic value in the Passayang-Sayang song period of 2000-2010, and (6 ) the use of the Mandar ethnic value in the song of the Passayang-Sayang period 2010-Present. The theory used in this research is the theory of literary geography put forward by Herder, Stael, and Ricardson. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The research data are in the form of Passayang-Sayang Mandar poetry texts, informant statements, and facts in the field. Data collection activities carried out by observation and observation techniques, interviews, recording, recording, and documentation. In this study the researcher acted as a key instrument guided by data collection guidelines. Data analysis procedures use the spiral model, while data analysis uses objective hermeneutics. To avoid research bias, triangulation was carried out for each stage of the study, research tools, and clarification of research findings to the informants as poet owners, Focus Group Discussions, and external audits. The findings of this study are the development of ethnic values in the Passayang-Sayang Mandar poem in the form of (16) ethnic values found in the period 1960-1970, (5) ethnic values found in the period 1970-1980, (7) ethnic values found in the 1980 period -1990, (6) ethnic values were found in the period 1990-2000, (7) ethnic values were found in the period 2000-2010, (8) ethnic values were found in the period 2010-Now.

Dalam mengerjakan permasalahan matematika, pasti ada yang mengalami suatu hambatan dalam proses pemecahannya yang menyebabkan terjadinya suatu kesalahan dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita berdasarkan tahapan Newman pada materi bangun datar segiempat dan penyebab mereka melakukan kesalahan tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif-kualitatif dengan metode tes tulis dan wawancara. Subjek penelitian adalah 3 dari 32 siswa kelas VII-D SMP Negeri 2 Nganjuk yang dipilih berdasarkan banyaknya kesalahan yang dilakukan saat tes tulis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dalam mengerjakan soal cerita tentang bangun datar segiempat, yaitu (1) kesalahan dalam membaca soal, (2) kesalahan dalam memahami soal, (3) kesalahan dalam mentransformasi soal, (4) kesalahan dalam keterampilan proses, dan (5) kesalahan dalam menuliskan jawaban akhir. Penyebab siswa melakukan kesalahan tersebut adalah siswa kurang teliti dalam membaca dan mengerjakan soal, belum paham materi dan belum terbiasa mengerjakan soal cerita dengan tahapan Newman. Kata kunci: analisis, kesalahan, soal cerita, tahapan newman, bangun datar segiempat.  In working on mathematical problems , there must be someone(s) who got some obstacles in the process of solving it which causes an error in the learning process. This research aims to describe students errors according to Newman’s Error Analysis in solving rectangular word problem and why they are doing that. This research used a qualitative-descriptive approach with the written test and interview method. The research subjects were 3 of 32 students from class 8­th-D Public Middle School 2 Nganjuk which is chosen based on the number of errors made during the written test. The results of this research shows that the students made some errors in solving mathematics involving rectangular word problems such as reading error, comperhension error, transformation error, process skill error and encoding error. The reason students make these mistakes are (1) students are not careful in reading and working on problems, (2) students doesn't understand the material, (3) and students are not usual to working on word problems using the Newman’s  method. ABSTRACT  This study aims to describe the use of libraries in Muhammadiyah Wirobrajan 3 Elementary School Yogyakarta, including the presence of students in the library, student activities in the library, book collections in the library and services in the library. This study included qualitative descriptive research. Research subjects of principals, librarians, teachers and students. The object of this research is the use of school libraries. The validity of the data in this study uses data source triangulation and technique triangulation. The technique of collecting data through interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Hubermen models which include data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the library at SD Muhammadiyah Wirobrajan 3 Yogyakarta in its utilization was very good. The use of the library is realized so that the library becomes the most important part of its existence in the school environment. In the use of libraries in SD Muhammadiyah Wirobrajan 3 Yogyakarta is seen from a complete collection of books, high numbers of student visits to libraries, utilization of library space for activities in teaching and learning processes, libraries are comfortable places for students to do assignments and libraries are a solution for students to borrow books when needing references when learning is taking place. Keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan trianggulasi sumber data dan trianggulasi teknik. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Hubermen yang meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perpustakaan  di SD Muhammadiyah Wirobrajan 3 Yogyakarta  dalam pemanfaatannya sangat baik. Pemanfaatan perpustakaan diwujudkan agar perpustakaan menjadi bagian terpenting keberadaannya dalam lingkungan sekolah.  Dalam Pemanfaatan perpustakaan di SD Muhammadiyah Wirobrajan 3 Yogyakarata dilihat dari koleksi buku yang lengkap, tingginya angka kunjungan siswa ke perpustakaan, pemanfaatan ruang perpustakaan untuk kegiatan proses belajar mengajar, perpustakaan menjadi tempat yang nyaman bagi siswa untuk mengerjakan tugas dan  perpustakaan menjadi solusi bagi siswa untuk meminjam buku ketika membutuhkan referensi ketika pembelajaran sedang berangsung. Dalam pemanfaatan perpustakaan, siswa juga terbantu dengan pelayaan perpustakaan yang  baik.Kata kunci: Pemanfaatan perpustakaan, SD Muhammadiyah Wirobrajan.

This research aims at knowing: (1) the realization of politeness of verbal and non-verbal directive speech acts of students, (2) deviations on politeness principles of students’ directive speech acts, and (3) the determining factors to the politeness and non-politeness of verbal and non-verbal directive speech acts for the Tenth Grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Mataram in the process of learning in the classroom. Research subjects in this study were the teachers who taught Indonesian, English, Economics, History, Mathematics, Religion, Civics, and Natural Sciences (IPA), and all students who are in class X of IPS 2, IPA 1 and IPA 3 in SMA Negeri 1 Mataram. This research belongs to qualitative descriptive study. The data were collected using observation method. The results of this study showed that: (1) there is the emergence of speech acts of the verbal and non-verbal directive of the students in the learning process, such as directive speech acts of rebuking, commanding, banning, advising, asking, reminding, satirizing, suggesting, threatening, rebuking, and (2) there is deviation of the principle of politeness of directive speech acts that is deviation of principle of one maxim, two maxim, and deviation of three maxim, and (3) there are influencing factors for the politeness and non-politeness of verbal and non-verbal directive speech acts of students in the learning process , including linguistic and non-linguistic factors.

This research aims to describe the mistakes of the prospective teachers in solving the application of radian measurement problems and their causes. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research with a case study approach. The types of data collection in this research consisted of the results of the subject's work and transcripts of interviews with research subjects. By following the type of data, this research instrument consists of one question about the problem of applying radian measurement and interview guidelines developed by the researchers. Data analysis of the subject's work is carried out by classifying the types of errors to know the types of errors that arise in solving the problem of applying the radian measurements. While the transcript analysis of the interview results was carried out by coding the words to determine the factors causing the errors that appeared. The results of the research indicate that the error in solving the problem of applying the radian measurement are misconceptions and factual errors. This misconception is generally caused by intuitive thinking, while this factual error is generally caused by not paying careful attention to the information in the question. The solution to these errors is to analyze the elements of the circle that are interconnected in solving the problem of applying the radian measurements and to be careful in writing the information that is known in the question.

This study aims to determine the cause of the low market share of general engineering products at PT PAL Indonesia. Market share analysis is considered important in winning business competition. The study uses qualitative descriptive methods and subject data in the form of opinions, attitudes, experiences or characteristics of a person or group of people who are the research subjects or informants. Source of data used are primary data derived from informant interviews and secondary data derived from supporting documents relevant to the study. To find out the root of the problem using the technique of root causes analysis with the fishbone method and find alternative solutions to the problem with the Delphi method in the form of a questionnaire to the experts. The results of the study explained that the low market share of general engineering products is found in every indicator of fishbone, namely: machine, method, material, manpower, measurement and mother nature. And in the opinion of the experts there is no significant difference of opinion in providing alternative solutions to every problem on the fishbone indicator. So the company can be used in making policies.
