The study aimed to identify the challenges of employing female academic leaders for social communication methods from the point of view of faculty members at King Saud University. To achieve these goals, the descriptive survey method was used, with a questionnaire which is used as a tool of the study and distributed to a sample that is consisted of (275) faculty members in female campus of King Saud University in Riyadh. The study found the following results: Female academic leaders face moderate challenges with a mean of (2.89) in employing social media means in administrative processes. The Administrative Challenges were at the forefront with an average of (3.05), followed by Technical and Artistic challenges with an average of (2.87) and Human Challenges with an average of (2.76). significant differences at the level of (α≤0.05) among the means of study sample responses of faculty members about the challenges facing female academic leaders' employment of social media in the administrative processes due to the different years of experience in favor of the study sample whose experience is [(15) years and above]. According to the results of the study, the researcher provided some recommendations for activating the benefits of social media in the administrative work for academic leaders.

This study is entitled (Effect of social media in political change in Sudan - A field study from the point of view of activists in the movement in the state of Khartoum 2021 Type of study: Descriptive study is the methodology used is the survey method. Objectives of the study: Disclosure of the reasons that make the Sudanese citizen accept the use of social media and Identification of the most important means of social communication used by members of the study, to know the impact of social media in the political change in Sudan. The most important results: the use of social media by activists has led to the response and conviction of the users of the Sudan need for political change. The study showed that ignoring members of the ruling power of the influence of social media helped the political change in Sudan. confirmed the study members on the impact of the use of social media by users has helped to detect the types of corruption within the members of the ruling authority in Sudan The study showed that the means of social communication was able to highlight the names of opponents of the policy of the ruling power, who convinced the recipients with the inevitability of change.

The study aimed to know the degree to which Palestinian universities apply international quality standards from the point of view of faculty members, and to identify the impact of gender, academic rank, and years of experience in that. The study used the descriptive survey method, and the tool was represented in a questionnaire, which was distributed to the study sample, which It was chosen by random method, by selecting a sample of faculty members inside Palestinian universities, so that the total sample was (229) members, representing the study community consisting of (8648) members, and the results showed that the degree of application of the Palestinian universities to international quality standards from the point of view of the members of the staff Teaching on the tool as a whole was average and got an average of (3.53). The results showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of (α ≤ 0.05) due to the effect of gender, academic rank, years of experience and in all fields. In light of the results, a number of recommendations and suggestions were presented.

This study set out to examine the effect of social media marketing on the growth of micro businesses in Wuse II, Abuja, Nigeria. The main objectives translated into two hypothesis to find out whether there was any significant relationship between Social Media usage, (independent variable) by micro business against increased brand awareness as well as increased sales (dependent variables). The study adopted a Descriptive survey method where data was collected using structured close-ended questionnaire. Data was collected from 99 respondents from the population of Micro Business in Wuse II comprising of management, staff and customers of the business. The collected data was analysed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) and the tools employed were model summary, analysis of variance (ANOVA) and co-efficient table in testing the research hypotheses. The findings showed that there is a significant relationship between social media usage by micro business and increased brand awareness; and findings also indicated that there is a significant relationship between social media usage by micro businesses and increased sales. The paper therefore concluded that social media marketing is as important as any other marketing strategy as it contributes to business growth in terms of increased brand awareness and increased sales. The paper recommends that businesses in Wuse II, Abuja and others should invest more in deploying social media marketing tools and also to train their staff to enhance social media usage.

This study aimed to identify the degree of academic leaders’ practice of excellence management in public and private Jordanian universities (Yarmouk University, University of Science and Technology, Al Al-Bayt University, Irbid National University, Jadara University, and Jerash University) from the faculty members’ viewpoint. The descriptive survey method was adopted and to achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was built to measure the degree of practicing excellence management consisting of (32) items distributed into (4) areas: leadership (10) items, policies, and strategies (5) items, human resources (5) items, and partnerships and resources (12) items. The study population consisted of all the (2077) faculty members in the Jordanian public and private universities in the first semester of the academic year 2020/2021. Where the study sample consisted of (405) academics who constitute (19%) of the study population. and were selected by a random stratified method. The results showed that the overall degree of academic leaders' practicing of excellence management in the public and private Jordanian universities was moderate, and the order of the areas on the scale was respectively as follows; Partnerships and Resources, leadership, Policies and strategies, and human resources, and that all of these areas came at a moderate degree. The results also showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of statistical significance (α = 0.05) between the estimates of respondents in all areas (leadership, policies and strategies, human resources, partnerships, and resources) attributable to the difference in; the gender variable in favor of males, academic rank in favor of the professor, and the type of university in favor of public universities. Regarding these results, the researcher recommends giving more attention to the Department of Excellence, especially in the field of leadership, as well as the inclusion of Excellence Management as a basic criterion of performance quality standards in Jordanian public and private universities.

This study aimed to identify the role of effective planning in achieving sustainable development in Al Ain University, through illustrating the relation that links the integrative theoretical framework of each of the effective planning and sustainable development. The researchers applied the descriptive survey method to investigate the non-quantitative variables and analyze them through the questionnaire into measurable quantitative variables. The study population and sample comprised all the academic leaders in Al Ain University, to whom the researchers delivered (150) copies of the questionnaire. The study relied on secondary resources such as related books, studies, magazines, and periodicals. The primary resource was constructing a questionnaire related to the study subject, and based on the theoretical framework of the study as well as the previous studies. Two statistical software were used to process the obtained data namely, SPSS and AMOS, by applying the field study on the sample to analyze the correlational and causal relationships among the study variables. The results showed that there is a medium level of strategic planning in Al Ain University as seen by its Academics and that the university achieves a medium level of sustainable development as seen by the academic leaders. The results further showed statistically significant effects at (α≥0.05) level for the dimensions of effective planning in achieving sustainable development as a whole. The correlation coefficient (R) was (0.70), which is a statistically significant value that indicated a statistically significant correlation between the independent and dependent variables.   Received: 11 May 2021 / Accepted: 24 November 2021 / Published: 3 January 2022

The study aimed to uncover the reality of using social media as an educational medium from the point of view of faculty members at Umm Al-Qura University, and in order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive approach by applying a questionnaire consisting of (39) statements distributed in two areas, namely the degree of use of faculty members at Umm Al-Qura University Social media networks and the second field have the degree of importance of using social media as an educational medium from the point of view of the faculty members at Umm Al-Qura University, and it was distributed among a sample of the faculty members at Umm Al-Qura University of (118) members, and the study showed several results, the most important of which were: The faculty members at Umm Al-Qura University use social media networks as an educational medium to a large extent and with an average of (3.65), and that the use of social networks as an educational medium is very important, as the arithmetic average reached the importance of using social networks as an educational medium from the point of view of the faculty members at Umm Al-Qura University (4.35) And the existence of statistically significant differences in the importance of using social networks as an educational medium according to the variable years of service in favor of the category (less than 5 years).

This study aimed to reveal the attitudes of Arabic language teachers of the upper basic stage towards learning bridges activities from their point of view in Mafraq Governorate in Jordan. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive survey method was used. The study used an electronic questionnaire consisting of (20) items, It was distributed amongst the study sample members, which consisted of (172) male and female teachers, and they were chosen by the available intentional sample method. The results of the study showed that the degree of the Arabic language teachers’ attitudes of the upper basic stage towards the activities of learning bridges from their point of view was high; with an arithmetic mean (2.40), and the absence of statistically significant differences at the level (α = 0.05) in the estimates of the study sample members due to the variables (gender, educational qualification, training courses), and in light of the results of the study, the researcher presented a group among the recommendations the most important is encouraging and educating teachers in Jordanian schools to benefit from the activities of learning bridges in teaching.

It has been observed that faculty members of Kwara State University (KWASU) in Malete, Nigeria, publish in journals based on some factors and considerations. These factors and considerations guide their choice of publishing in journals. The aim of this study was to show the factors and considerations influencing KWASU faculty members’ decision to publish with journals. The study adopted a descriptive survey method, with a web-survey questionnaire as data collection instrument. The population for the study was 482, of whom 192 respondents responded positively, representing 39.8% of the total population. A quantitative analysis was done of data collected, using the automatically-generated analysis from Google Forms. The hypothesis was tested using Microsoft Excel. It was found that some of the factors that influence the choice of KWASU faculty members to publish with journals, include: peer review; publication cost; open access; impact factor; and frequency of publication. It was found that more than half of the faculty members give consideration to editorial board lists of journals before sending out their manuscripts to journals. It was also found that there is a statistically significant relationship between factors and considerations for the choice of publishing in a journal. Challenges encountered by faculty members in publishing with journals include poor communication between author and editor, faculty members’ poor awareness of journals, difficulty in getting collaborators, and pressure to get an academic promotion.

<p class="apa">This study aims at identifying the role of social communication tools in education from the Saudi female students’ perspectives that are studying at the college of education in King Saud University-Riyadh. This study used a survey, which was distributed to 500 female students. The results showed that 90% of respondents used social media where 95% said social media improved interaction with other and raised the sense of social responsibility, 56% used all tools of social media. 45% used social media more than 6 hours daily. 61% believed that social networks promoted democratic values and spread political culture.62% of respondents used social media to do homework or academic projects and researches. 99% of respondents believed that social media allowed following new information about their academic specialty and obtained specialized scientific consulting. 79% of respondents believed that one goal of creating accounts in social networks were learning specific science knowledge or a foreign language. 9% of respondents benefited from social media in social educational consulting. 44% of respondents preferred to debate in scientific and educational topics. 84% of respondents agreed that social networks provided the opportunity to form relationships with those interested in a particular scientific subject and exchanged experiences and information with them.<strong></strong></p>

The study aimed to measure the degree of organizational loyalty among faculty members at Kuwait University. The study used analytical descriptive survey method, and developed a questionnaire comprising (20) items which was administered to a sample comprising (183) faculty members. The study revealed that the degree of organizational loyalty is medium with a mean (3.01). Also, the study revealed no statistically significant differences among the respondents due to the study variables: gender, nationality, age, years of experience, type of college, and academic rank. In the light of these results, the study provided a number of practical recommendations and suggestions for further studies, i.e. instilling the spirit of teamwork and responsibility towards the university and nation, evaluating the performance of faculty members, promoting organizational loyalty by holding training courses, deepening religious awareness, paying more attention to factors that regulate work environment, conducting similar studies in other institutions, and other studies to reveal the relationship of organizational loyalty with personal characteristics, job satisfaction, and organizational justice.
