This thesis is entitled: social control by parents in the use of smartphones in children who are still in school at Madrasah Aliyah Babussalam Peniraman Pinyuh River District. The general problem of this research is social control by parents in the use of smartphones in children who are still in school at Madrasah Aliyah Babussalam Peniraman Pinyuh River sub-district. Sub problem in this research is 1: How persuasive social control by parents of children in the use of smartphones 2: How repressive social control by parents of children in the use of smartphones 3: How curative social control by parents of children in the use of smartphones. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Observation data collection techniques, interviews and documentation study with data collection tool guide observation, interviews, books and archival records. Informal in this study are the parents and children. The positive impact for children to use the smartphone as to facilitate the child to seek material from school assignments, and berkomonikasi. But the negative impact of such children concentrate less on learning, lazy learning. The results of this research show that parents have been doing social control in children berifat persuasive, repressive and curative. But the negative impact of such children concentrate less on learning, lazy learning. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui dampak positif dan negatif dari adanya pergantian (turn-over) guru di Madrasah Aliyah Nahdlatul Ulama Banyuputih kabupaten Batang. Penelitian inimenggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif analitis dengan metode pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam, angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya turn-over yang tinggi pada guru atau pendidik di madrasah tersebut; keuntungan yang bersifat positif justru didapatkan ketika adanya turn-over guru dibandingkan dampak negatifnya; dan kehadiran guru baru menjadi hal yang sangat disukai oleh siswa dalam hal kreativitas, inovasi pembelajaran, motivasi, dan lain sebagainya.The aims of this research were to know the positive and negative impact of teacher turn over at Madrasah Aliyah Nahdlatul Ulama Banyuputih Kabupaten Batang. This research was use analytical descriptive qualitative approach with depth interview, questionnaire and documentation as data collection methods. The results of this research shows that the positive impact occur more than the negative impact when there was teacher turn over; and the presence of a new teacher become student’s favourite on creativity, learning innovation, and motivation aspects.

The research reported on here was designed in a qualitative approach to present the opinions of pre-service pre-school teachers on the use of mathematics activities. The sample consisted of 10 pre-service teachers, who in their fourth year of pre-school education in the teaching department in 2017 to 2018. The pre-service teachers in the study group were selected from those with a grade point average (GPA) of above 3 and who completed the teaching practice course. In the research, the data were collected from the pre-service teachers through interviews. A semi-structured form, developed by the researcher, was used as a data collection tool in order to reveal the opinions of pre-service pre-school teachers on the application of mathematics activities. The results of the research show that the participating pre-service pre-school teachers used more than one-to-one correspondence in mathematics activities of which the most difficult concepts were classification and geometrical figures – difficult situations in which to attract the attention of children and a crowded class of 36 to 48 month old children. Most of the mathematics activities were integrated into games and art through the narration and gamification method. The participants mostly used prepared mathematics activities in practice.

This study aims to determine what are the impacts of using E-Commerce in increasing MSME sales turnover. This study uses a qualitative approach that is descriptive analysis. The data collection techniques used are observation, interview and documentation techniques. The research subjects were 5 MSME actors in the city of Makassar. The results showed that there are two impacts of using E-Commerce, namely positive impacts and negative impacts. The positive impact is the use of E-Commerce, namely, the store can be accessed 24 hours, provides security and convenience in the transaction process, eases promotions so that it can help communicate faster with customers and can access the global market and can satisfy customers and of course can increase sales turnover. Meanwhile, the negative impact is that if the goods are damaged, the goods can be checked and result in losses in shipping and packing costs, the number of rivals, admin fees charged to buyers and sellers, the COD system that makes sellers feel disadvantaged because the funds are released after the goods arrive.

This study was motivated by low motivation of students This study aims to find out the impact of port lane as social environment  so that it has impact on education in SDN 03 Sintete because most of students live around the port. The study used qualitative approach and data collection techniques used were observation, interview and documentation. Sampling technique used is sampling purposive that determination of the sample based on certain consideration. The result showed that port lane had positive impact  on the socio-economic society in Sintete. However, port lane also had negative impact for student’s education in SDN 03 Sintete.

This study analyzes understanding of merchants of surah Al Jumuah verses 9-10. Understanding that examined about when sounding the call Athan all activities (sale and purchase) must be abandoned immediately and promptly carry out the Friday prayers, and back doing activities (sale and purchase) when finished doing the prayer Friday. This research used the qualitative approach with case studies. Data collection was done with interviews and observations directly to the object/subject of research. The results of this research show that the level of understanding of respective merchants of surah Al Jumuah verses 9-10 good and different so that the impact on the implementating. In addition, they believe in running the prayer Friday positively impact of sustenance, though not directly. A positive impact not only sustenance, but by hearing sermons Friday prayers will add to the sense of faithfulness to God Almighty.

This study limits the discussion related to criminal news on the Surya Citra Televisi (SCTV) television station. The purpose of this study was to determine the attitude changes that occur in adolescents after watching criminal news shows, to find out the motivation of teenagers to watch crime news shows on television (SCTV), and to find out the efforts of teenagers to overcome the negative impact of crime news broadcasts on television (SCTV) both independently and independently. or with the help of other parties. Data collection for this research was conducted through interviews and observations. The study found that crime news broadcasts have influenced the behavior of teenagers in Senaung Village, but this influence is not always a negative impact nor a positive impact. The influence of crime news shows on adolescent behavior is very dependent on the personality of the teenager. Adolescent personality is also shaped by family, environment, and peer themes.

The aim of this study is to investigate the role of Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility in moderating the effect of zakat on Islamic commercial banks’ financial performance. Out of 13 Islamic commercial bank listed by Otoritas Jasa Keuangan from 2012 to 2017, there were only five banks reporting Statement of Zakat Fund Sources and Disbursements. Hence, the final samples of this study consist of 30 observation data. Secondary data collected from 30 annual reports were gathered through documentation. This study utilizes moderated regression analysis to test three research hypotheses. The results shows several findings. Firstly, the amount of corporate zakat being reported in the Statement of Zakat Fund Sources and Disbursements has positive impact on Islamic banks’ financial performance. Secondly, Islamic CSR as measured by Islamic reporting index developed by Belal et al. (2015) has negative impact on Islamic Banks’ financial performance. Thirdly, the role of Islamic CSR in moderating the effect of zakat on financial performance was confirmed.

The implementation of public services at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Bekasi Regency has not been optimal. If public services in the Department of Population and Civil Registration are seen from the implementation of the principles of Good Governance, such as aspects of accountability, transparency, and participation, they are still not optimal. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Observation data collection techniques and interviews with several informants related to research. The results of the study, which led to the implementation of the principles of Good Governance in population administration services at the Population and Civil Registration Service, have not run optimally, judging from the accountability of the mismatch between implementation and operational standards (SOP), as well as unclear service completion, not timely in providing services to the community. When viewed from the transparency aspect of the lack of availability regarding population administration services, the Department of Population and Civil Registration has not maximally used the official website in providing information to the public. And from the last aspect, namely participation, the community has not been fully involved in providing criticism and suggestions and the community is not involved in evaluating services. Evaluation of the Worship Practice Program Program aims to provide an assessment of the implementation and achievement of program objectives. CIPP Model Stufflebeam is used in research to evaluate aspects of context (goals, guidance, and implementation), input aspects (materials, teachers, and students), process aspects (technical implementation of programs), and products or outputs (results). Analysis of research data using a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection tool uses interviews and observations to assess teacher behavior by students, self-assessment questionnaires by students, and student behavioral assessment questionnaires by parents. The object of the study was 3 teachers, 55 students, and 55 parents of students. The evaluation results show that for the context and input aspects in the good category. Process evaluation is a good category, related to the timing of implementation and steps for implementing PPI activities in accordance with established guidelines. Product evaluation in sufficient categories means that students can be said to be quite good in religious behavior individually. While the assessment of indicators of religious behavior shows good categories.
