The purpose of this research is to develop Komikadp educational comics. This study uses the research, research and development (R&D) 4D model. The subject of this research was an expert test by the UNTIRTA Guidance and Counseling lecturer, Mr. Arga Satrio Prabowo M, Pd. Field testing by all Muhammadiyah Junior High Schools throughout DKI Jakarta. Collecting data using interviews and assessment sheets consisting of a checklist for quantitative data and a description for qualitative data. After going through the define, design, develop stages, the Komikadp educational comic prototype obtained an expert test assessment and a very feasible field test with expert test details with an average value of 88.70% and field tests with an average value of 81.79%. The comments obtained from the expert test are that the comic is already very good, it needs further development and the story continues so that this comic does not stop here. The comments obtained from the field test of the media used are in accordance with the character of teenagers, interesting, creative, simple stories but rich in meaning, and very related to today's youth, it's just that the cause and effect need to be added and how to overcome them by counseling the BK teacher. The final decision obtained from the results of the expert test and field test is acceptable, appropriate, and feasible so that it can be used as a basis for carrying out the next stage without improvement

Abstrak Keterampilan membaca permulaan siswa masih rendah dikarenakan kurangnya keterampilan guru dalam mengolah pembelajaran menjadi menarik, hal ini menyebabkan siswa kurang antusias dalam membaca sehingga siswa lebih asyik bicara sendiri dengan teman sebangkunya. Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada: apakah ada peningkatan dalam membaca setelah menggunakan metode suku kata berbasis media kartugambar dan Apakahfaktor yang mempengaruhi dalam keterampilan membaca permulaan. Jenispenelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas sedangkan sabjeknya ialah seluruh siswa kelas 1 MI Nurus Shibyan Ambat dengan jumlah 18 siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah wawancara, observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Dalam membaca permulaan peneliti penggunaan metode suku kata berbasis media kartu gambar dari hasil tersebut terlihat adanya peningkatan keterampilan membaca permulaan pada siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan pada saat sebelum diberi tindakan nilai rata-rata dari seluruh siswa masih rendah yaitu 45,27, dan presentase ketuntasan klasikalsiswa 16,67%. Pada siklus I setelah diberi tidakanya itu dengan menggunakan metode suku kata berbasis media kartu gambar nilai rata-rata siswa meningkat menjadi 57,5 dan presentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 27,78%. pada siklus II nilai rata-rata siswa meningkat menjadi 67,5 sedangkan presentase ketuntasan siswa menjadi 55,56%. Dan pada pelaksanaan siklus III nilai rata-rata siswa meningkat menjadi 78,88 dan peningkatan presentase ketuntasan siswa mencapai 83,33%.  Kata Kunci: Membaca Permulaan, Suku Kata Berbasis Kartu Gambar Abstract Reading skills at the beginning of students are still low due to the lack of teacher skills in processing learning to be interesting, this causes students to be less enthusiastic in reading so that students are more engrossed in talking to themselves with their peers. This study focuses on: is there an increase in reading after using the syllabic media-based syllable method and what are the influencing factors in early reading skills. This type of research is classroom action research while the subject is all grade 1 students of MI NurusShibyanAmbat with a total of 18 students. The methods used in data collection are interviews, observation, tests and documentation. In reading the beginning of the researcher the use of the syllabus-based media method of the image card shows that there is an increase in students' beginning reading skills. This was evidenced at the time before being given an action the average value of all students was still low at 45.27, and the percentage of classical completeness of students was 16.67%. In the first cycle after being given the act of using syllables based on the media card the average value of students increased to 57.5 and the percentage of classical completeness was 27.78%. in cycle II the average value of students increased to 67.5 while the percentage of student completeness to 55.56%. And in the implementation of the third cycle the average value of students increased to 78.88 and the percentage ofstudentscompleteness reached 83.3%. Keywords: Reading Beginning, Syllables Based On Picture Cards

Background/Objectives: This study introduces the importance of the aerodynamics to prosthetic limb design for athletes with either a lower-limb or upper-limb amputation. Study design: The study comprises two elements: 1) An initial experiment investigating the stability of outdoor velodrome-based field tests, and 2) An experiment evaluating the application of outdoor velodrome aerodynamic field tests to detect small-scale changes in aerodynamic drag respective of prosthetic limb componentry changes. Methods: An outdoor field-testing method is used to detect small and repeatable changes in the aerodynamic drag of an able-bodied cyclist. These changes were made at levels typical of alterations in prosthetic componentry. The field-based test method of assessment is used at a smaller level of resolution than previously reported. Results: With a carefully applied protocol, the field test method proved to be statistically stable. The results of the field test experiments demonstrate a noticeable change in overall athlete performance. Aerodynamic refinement of artificial limbs is worthwhile for athletes looking to maximise their competitive performance. Conclusion: A field-testing method illustrates the importance of the aerodynamic optimisation of prosthetic limb components. The field-testing protocol undertaken in this study gives an accessible and affordable means of doing so by prosthetists and sports engineers. Clinical relevance Using simple and accessible field-testing methods, this exploratory experiment demonstrates how small changes to riders’ equipment, consummate of the scale of a small change in prosthetics componentry, can affect the performance of an athlete. Prosthetists should consider such opportunities for performance enhancement when possible.

<p>Advancement in science and technology have enormous influence in the field of education. The media is one of tool that has an important role so that learning becomes more attractive, have variation and not boring. Making ArcGIS software-based media in learning how to create a digital map function shows the image and informations  contained in the map so that students can understand well. The purpose of this study   are:</p><p>(1) Describe the procedures for developing ArcGIS software media learning IPS mapmaterial. (2) To determine the extent of ArcGIS software can improve the results of student motivation. The data in this development was obtained from the initial trials through expert validation results media and subject matter experts. Then, the data is retrieved from field trials in the form of a questionnaire to 10 students. After that, the data was obtained from the questionnaire results of the field test to the class C in academic year 2013 major in Social Education UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The results of questionnaire before media was revised in field trials at 76%. While the results of questionnaire after media was revised in field trials at 83%. The results of questionnaire before media was revised in field testing at 80%. While the media after result was revised in field tests at 96%. The second stage shows the percentage of 85% and 84%. The authors developed a validated office ergonomics checklist that focused on outcomes instead of workstation features. The workstation is evaluated primarily through observed working postures and movement patterns while the subject performs their usual tasks. A guidebook for the improvement of computer workstations is keyed to the checklist, to lead the user in reducing risk factors and improving workstation ergonomics. The checklist was first validated in a field test with three expert evaluators. The checklist and guidebook were later tested with a large employer and used as a self-evaluation instrument, by a co-worker, and by an Ergonomics Coordinator with training and experience. Workstations were evaluated by an independent ergonomist before and after interventions were made. Results indicated that the checklist and guidebook were effective in making significant improvements in workstation conditions when administered by an Ergonomics Coordinator, but not when used as a self-assessment or by an untrained co-worker.

Penelitian tindakan ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan proses dan hasil dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan TK PAUD Anak Bangsa Kota Palembang Provinsi Sumatera Selatan melalui penerapan media bulletin board. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan dengan model Kemmis dan Taggart, yang meliputi perencanaan, tindakan dan observasi, refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah TK PAUD Anak Bangsa yang berjumlah 16 orang anak. Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus yang terdiri dari delapan pertemuan pada setiap siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis data kualitatif dan analisis data kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemampuan membaca permulaan anak mengalami peningkatan setelah diterapkan media bulletin board. Skor kemampuan membaca permulaan anak pada pra siklus sebesar 44, siklus I sebesar 62, dan siklus II sebesar 65,125. Hasil tersebut memberikan implisasi bahwa kemampuan membaca permulaan dapat ditingkatkan melalui penerapan media bulletin board.Research action aims to describe the process and results in improving the ability to read the beginning of TK PAUD Anak Bangsa of Palembang City South Sumatera Province through the application of Media bulletin board. The research methods used are research actions with the Kemmis and Taggart models, which include planning, action and observation, reflection. The subject of this research is TK PAUD Anak Bangsa, a total of 16 children. Research is conducted in two cycles consisting of eight meetings on each cycle. Data collection techniques are conducted through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques in this study are qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis. The results showed that the ability to read children's beginnings improved after the media bulletin board was applied. Scores of children's start reading on the pre-cycle of 44, cycle I by 62, and cycle II by 65.125. The results gave implisation that the ability to read the start can be increased through the application of Media bulletin board.

This research was aimed to develop appropriate, interesting and attractive speaking media in teaching descriptive text for seventh grade students of MTsS UMMI Lubuk Pakam. Due to the result in the form of product, this study was categorized as Research and Development (R & D) study which adapted from Borg and Gall (1989) theory with some modifications. The subject of this study was the seventh grade students of MTsS UMMI Lubuk Pakam. In conducting this research, the procedures were gathering the data and information, conducting the need analysis, designing the first draft of media, revising the media, and producing the final product as the meme comic. The instruments of collecting data were the combination of two strategies; interview and questionnaires. The interview result was analyzed as qualitative data and the questionnaires analyzed as quantitative data. These data were needs of students covering target needs and learning needs. This study developed speaking media which only focused on descriptive text taught in the odd semester. This research aims to describe the enhancement of elementary school students ' ability to identify cultural diversity, as well as describe the improvement of basic skills teaching teachers through the application of Waraga media.The research method used is a class action research conducted as many as 2 cycles. Each cycle is implemented during 2 meetings. Cycles consist of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The subject of the study was 28 graders of SD Negeri 2 Pecangaan Wetan in Lesson 2019/2020. The technique of data collection during the implementation of class action research using test techniques in the form of evaluation test to know the improvement of students ' ability to identify cultural diversity, and nontest technique in the form of observation of teacher teaching basic skills using observation sheet consisting of 8 observed aspects. Data analysis used is quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The results showed that with the use of the media waraga in learning occurs increase the ability of students in identifying cultural diversity in elementary schools. Proven from the increasing percentage of the classical dictancy. Cycle I gained a percentage of 68% and cycle II gained 86%. The results also showed improved teacher teaching basic skills, proven from observations that gained a score percentage of 77.3% on the I cycle and increased to 85% in cycle II.

Under the Ceramic Stationary Gas Turbine (CSGT) Program and the Advanced Materials Program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), several silicon carbide/silicon carbide (SiC/SiC) combustor liners were field tested in a Solar Turbines Centaur 50S gas turbine, which accumulated approximately 40000 hours by the end of 2001. To date, five field tests were completed at Chevron, Bakersfield, CA, and one test at Malden Mills, Lawrence, MA. The evaluation of SiC/SiC liners with an environmental barrier coating (EBC) after the fifth field test at Bakersfield (13937 hours) and the first field test at Malden Mills (7238 hours) is presented in this paper. The work at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) in support of the field tests was supported by DOE’s Continuous Fiber-Reinforced Ceramic Composite (CFCC) Program.

This study aims to produce a media-based attack training model for fencing martial arts. This research uses questionnaire instruments, questionnaires, and quantitative and qualitative data using the Research & Development (R & D) method from Borg and Gall. The stages in this study are (1) needs analysis, (2) product models in the form of prototypes, (3) developing product designs and stages of implementation, (4) expert expert tests, (5) revisions, (6) field tests broader (7) product revisions, (8) due diligence, (9) final products, (10) wide distribution. The effectiveness test through the initial test obtained an average value of 12.35 and the final test obtained an average value of 16.55, so it can be concluded that the media-based attack training model is effective in increasing the accuracy of fencing targets. Based on the results obtained from the model effectiveness test, it can be concluded that the development of media-based attack training models in the sport of fencing martial arts that have been applied has increased, as evidenced by the initial tests and final tests, there are significant differences and are declared feasible to use in fencing attack exercises. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk model latihan menyerang berbasis media pada olahraga beladiri anggar. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrument angket, kuisioner, dan data kuantitatif dan kualitatif menggunakan metode Research & Development (R&D) dari Borg and Gall. Tahapan-tahapan dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) analisis kebutuhan, (2) model produk berupa prototype, (3) mengembangkan desain produk dan tahapan-tahapan pelaksanaan, (4) uji pakar ahli, (5) revisi, (6) uji lapangan lebih luas (7) revisi produk, (8) uji kelayakan, (9) produk final, (10) penyebaran secara luas. Uji keefektifitas melalui tes awal memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 12,35 dan tes akhir memperoleh nilai rata-rata 16,55 maka dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa model latihan menyerang berbasis media efektif untuk meningkatkan ketepatan sasaran anggar. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dari uji efektifitas model maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan modellatihan menyerang berbasis media pada olahraga beladiri anggar yang telah diterapkan mengalami peningkatan, dibuktikan dengan tes awaldan tes akhir, adanya perbedaan yang signifikan dan dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan pada latihan menyerang anggar. This research aims to determine the steps of media development and to know the quality and feasibility of Ludo Math media.The Ludo Math media was developed with a Borg and Gall model consisting of; 1) research and information collecting, 2) planning, 3) develop preliminary form of product, 4) preliminary field testing, 5) main product revision, 6) main field testing, 7) operational product revision, and 8) operational field testing.  The study was conducted at SD NegeriGetas 02 with the subject students training class III.  Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, assessment sheets of experts and teachers, and student response sheets.Analysis of the data of this study includes qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis.  The results of this study indicate that the assessment according to media experts obtained a value of 85 with the category "Very Good". Assessment according to learning experts obtained a value of 92.5 with the category "Very Good".  The assessment according to the material experts obtained a value of 87.5 with the category "Very Good".  Small Group Product Trial Results, teacher assessment and student responses obtained an average value of 96.25 with the category "Very Good".  The results of the Large Group Usage Trial, the assessment of teachers and students obtained an average value of 98.75 in the "Very Good" category. From all assessments of experts, teachers, and students, Ludo Math media get an average value of 92. If the average value is converted into qualitative data, Ludo Math media is included in the "Very Good" category and declared fit for use in the material Simple fractions class III elementary school.
