From the interview data obtained, starting in 2016 since online transportation has grown in Malang, at least almost 30% growth in recruitment of women online motorcycle taxi drivers. This research uses the case study method. The thesis of this research is the rise the opinion for the gender context itself that the rationality of professional voters as an online motorcycle taxi is not only from economic reasons alone but also the existence of social dynamics housing that occurs in the community. For Foucault, gender phenomena can be said to be a discourse that will later develop the concept of culture. Its idealism and romanticism, women need jobs not only as economic demands, but also gender shifts that women do not only take care of homework. James Coleman sees in the perspective rationality that the choice to be an online motorcycle taxi driver is a "Shortcut" to get money for women. In addition, this research should be able to be a further study of elite policymakers to make more attention to labor laws, especially those based on industrial revolution 4.0.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.17977/um021v4i22019p115

By the late 1920s, Buenos Aires already had a large tramway network, buses, an underground line, and railways. However, on 24 September 1928 a new form of public transport burst onto the scene: the auto-colectivo. Organised in small companies without municipal authorisation, taxi drivers began using their cars for public transport. Analysing technological transformations in the transportation sector from a cultural–historical perspective, this paper focuses on both the controversies sparked by the auto-colectivo, and the resignification of attributes of modern transport (speed, comfort, safety) prompted by this new form of public transportation. This service, which spontaneously emerged ‘from below’ as a result of the taxi drivers’ self-organisation, ‘socialised’ the use of the automobile and brought on a new (but short-lived) mobility experience. It is argued that the latter was an experience of passengering that played an important role in the success of this mode of transport, in the context of the rising of car culture and a bad reputation of trams and buses.

This research strategy is phenomenological research. The basic question according to Patton (2002) is to find out the essence of experience. Littlejohn (1999: 199) defines phenomenology as the study of experiences that come from consciousness or the way we understand something by consciously experiencing something. Hegel (in Moustakas 1994: 26) states that phenomenology refers to experience as arises from consciousness, he further explains phenomenology is the science of describing what a person receives, feels and knows in his direct awareness and experience. What arises from consciousness is what is called a phenomenon. With this strategy, the researcher seeks to obtain a systematic, logical and coherent reflection of the reality phenomenon about the motorcycle taxi profession

Abstract Background In developing countries, a great number of people typically utilize public transportation such as Taxis. Therefore, taxi drivers have an important role in residents’ well-being and safety. The aim of this study was to describe the subjective experiences and insights on safe driving among taxi drivers in Zanjan, Iran. Result By analysis of the qualitative data, four main themes emerged from expressed experiences by taxi drivers, including 1) traffic chaos, 2) social prestige, 3) economic pressure, and 3) job satisfaction. Conclusion The emerging concepts of the present study imply a threefold structure of existence, which introduced by Heidegger, as taxi drivers’ (the self) feelings and experiences of being under pressure of traffic chaos (the world), accompanied by low social prestige, economic pressure and job dissatisfaction (being in). Thus, strategic planning for traffic safety should consider taxi drivers’ needs to feel a friendly world, as well as, to find themselves in a respectful and supportive environment.
