Aromatherapy lavender can increase alpha waves in the brain and this gelombang helps to create a relaxed state. Lavender essential oil can reduce anxiety. Type of quantitative descriptive research with Quasi Experimental approach with pretest-posttest design with two groups. The population and sample in this study were all postpartum mothers in Bonang II Public Health Center in June 2018 as many as 30 people with total sampling technique. The statistical test used was the Wilcoxon test. There were differences in perineal wound pain in postpartum mothers before and after lavender aromatherapy was given to the intervention group. There are differences in pain of perineal wounds in postpartum mothers before and after giving jasmine aromatherapy to the control group. There were differences in the reduction of pain in perineal wounds in the intervention group and in the control group. Lavender aromatherapy is more effective in reducing pain compared to jasmine aromatherapi.

Diabetic ulcer is caused by damage to the skin nerves due to reduced blood flow. Pain and anxiety when wound care begins when dressing and cleaning the wound. Murottal therapy is a distraction technique in the form of al-quran records, decreases stress hormones and provides a feeling of relaxation. The purpose of this study was to reduce the level of pain and anxiety during wound care in patients with DM ulcers after being given murrotal therapy in RSUD K.M.T. Wongsonegoro Semarang. The research method with quasi experimental pre-posttest control group. a sample of 17 people in the intervention group and 15 in the control group. Sample selection with total sampling. The murrottal listening intervention group played for 3 times for 15 minutes. Respondents were conducted pre and posttest with NRS pain measuring instruments and DASS anxiety. The results of the Wilcoxon test in the intervention group obtained p = 0,000, there were differences in the level of pain between before and after murotal therapy and p = 0.002 there was a difference in the level of anxiety between before and after murotal therapy. In the control group obtained p = 0.02, there were differences in the level of pain between before and after murotal therapy and the value of p = 1.00, there was no difference in the level of anxiety between before and after given murotal therapy. Conclusion: Murrotal therapy can reduce the level of pain and anxiety during wound care for DM ulcer patients.

Objective: To analyze the effect of sitting and soaking therapy with the decoction of Anredera cordifolia on the perineal wound healing in postpartum period mothers.Materials and Methods: The research method used is the Quasi-Experiment with pretest-posttest control group design, a sample of 62 primiparous postpartum period mothers with 2nd-grade perineal rupture. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling to obtain 31 respondents treated by 31 respondents. The wound healing variable was observed using the REEDA scale. The characteristic analysis is tested using Mann-Whitney statistical test, while to test the effect analysis is tested using the Wilcoxon test.Results: The results of this study in the intervention group showed 52.71% was cured after getting treatment for perineal wounds sitting and soaking therapy with the decoction of Anredera cordifolia. On the other hand, in the control group, using only clean water shows 27.90% recovered. Analysis data effect of using the decoction of Anredera cordifolia 25% containing on perineal wound healing showed results with Wilcoxon Test with value (p<0.05).Conclusion: Based on this result there is an effect of sitting and soaking therapy with the decoction of Anredera cordifolia on perineal wound healing for postpartum mothers.

AIM: The aim of this study was to determine the effects of community empowerment on preventing dengue fever in Lampung Province, Indonesia. METHODS: This study used a quasi-experimental design with two groups of pretest-posttest design. The number of samples in this study was 120 people in the intervention group and 120 people in the control group, who is a housewife living in Gading Rejo and Pringsewu subdistrict, Lampung, Indonesia. The sampling technique used a proportional stratified random sampling technique. Community empowerment interventions have been carried out through socialization and inculturation to gather information about community participation, knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of respondents in the prevention of dengue fever. Then, the next stage is the implementation of interventions with capacity building and planting dengue mosquito repellent plants. Data were analyzed using Wilcoxon test using the SPSS version 21.0 software. RESULTS: This study showed that there were differences in the median score of knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors between the intervention and control groups (p < 0.05). The results of the analysis based on the entomologist indicators (larvae-free numbers, house index, container index, and Breteau index) found that there were differences in larvae-free numbers, house index, and Breteau index between the intervention and control groups (p < 0.05), while there were no differences in the container index between the intervention and control groups (p > 0.05). CONCLUSION: This study confirmed the effects of community empowerment on preventing dengue fever in Lampung Province, Indonesia.

One of the complications experienced by postpartum mothers is the presence of perineal wounds which can cause more severe pain effects (Sumiaty, 2017). One of the non-pharmacological ways to reduce pain is to drink red ginger. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of drinking red ginger on reducing the intensity of perineal wound pain in postpartum women at BPM Permata Bunda Tuban. This research method is analytic experimental with a pre-experimental design (Static-group comparison design). The sample of this study was 44 postpartum mothers which were divided into 2 groups, namely the control and treatment groups, with a systematic random sampling technique. Data analysis used Sample t-Test (Independent sample t-Test). Based on the results of the study, it was obtained from 22 respondents (postpartum mothers) on the 5th day who were not given drinking red ginger, most of the respondents experienced moderate perineal wound pain as many as 13 (59.10%), while from 22 respondents (postpartum mothers) on the 5th day, most of those who were given red ginger had mild perineal wound pain as much as 12 (54.60%). The results of the analysis using the sample t-test test found that P of 0.000 is smaller than 0.05, then H1 was accepted that there was an effect of giving red ginger to decrease the intensity of perineal wound pain in postpartum mothers at BPM Permata Bunda Tuban

Anemia is one of the indirect causes of maternal mortality. The Government of Indonesia has made efforts to overcome anemia, including by giving iron tablets to pregnant women. To improve maternal compliance in consuming iron tablet healthcare workers should include family/cadres in the supervision of food and medicine. This study aims to know the effectiveness of accompaniment drinking iron tablet By Cadres Against Increasing Hb Level of Pregnant Women at Puskesmas Kota Palangka Raya. This research is a quasi-experimental design using "nonrandomized control group pretest-posttest design" approach. Sampling technique total sampling is with the number of samples of 62 people divided into 2 groups, 31 intervention groups, and 31 control groups. In the intervention group involving cadres as moderate blood-boosting drink companions in the control group without blood-boosting companions. The analysis technique used for the intervention and control group is using the Wilcoxon test. The result of intervention group statistic test get p-value = 0,000 (

The period of menarche in Indonesia has reached 60-70% who experience dysmenorrhea and cause women to be unable to carry out activities and reduce women's quality of life. This study aims to describe the effect of acupressure therapy on the intensity of menstrual pain. This type of quantitative research is a quasi-experimental design with a one group pretest-posttest approach with sampling using a purposive sampling technique using 100 respondents from April 20 to June 21 2020. The data was obtained from a questionnaire and processed using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed the overall data of the variable dysmenorrhea pre test - post test in the intervention group Asymp value. The significance is 0.000 <0.05, while the control group has Asymp value. The significance is 1,000 > 0.05, so it can be concluded that the results of the analysis of changes in the pain scale pre-test - post-test in the intervention group showed a significant change between the pre-test and post-test pain scales. It can be seen from the measurement results of the Mean Rank pain scale before therapy is 0.00 and Mean Rank after therapy is 25.50 which means there is a decrease in the intensity of menstrual pain. Based on the results of the research above, adolescents need to add information and understanding through various mass media to equip themselves in dealing with complementary menstrual pain

ABSTRACT Handling of any cause of perineum rupture during childbirth should be done immediately with qualityto minimize the possibility of complications such as bleeding, infection, dyspareunia hematoma, and reduced libido that usually accompanies in the cause of perineum rupture. Snakehead Murrel is believed to accelerate wound healing because of its extract as a substitute for serum albumin which is usually used for surgical wound healing. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of snakehead murrel on the healing of perineal wounds in postpartum mothers in Public Health Center of Sungai Piring in 2019. This study used by quasi-experimental methods with a non-equivalent control group of  60 postpartum mothers who were divided into two groups namely the experimental group and the control group. The population was the first part of postpartum mothers with second-degree perineal injuries from January to June with a sample of  22 respondents. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling. Results:there wasa healing of perineal wounds in all members of the experimental group and there was no healing in all control groups at the time of observation on 8th days. Conclusion: there was a significant effect of consuming Snakehead Murrel on the healing of perineal wounds in postpartum mothers.

One of the nurse's functions is to provide toilet training to children. This study aims to analyze the effect of toileting training on mother's knowledge in toilet training for toddlers at PAUD Arrahman and Lare Angon Yogyakarta. This type of research is experimental with pretest - posttest design with control group. The sample was selected using a random sampling technique that met the criteria, namely mothers who have toddlers in PAUD in the Gamping District, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The first observation was carried out to measure the mother's knowledge about toilet training for toddlers before being given training and the second observation was carried out to measure knowledge after being given training. The difference in knowledge between before and after the intervention was analyzed using the Wilcoxon test, while the difference in knowledge between the intervention group and the control group was analyzed using the Mann Whitney-U test. The results showed that there was a difference in the increase in mother's knowledge about toilet training for toddlers between the experimental group and the control group (p = 0.000). Furthermore, it was concluded that toileting training using pocket books was effective for increasing mother's knowledge in toilet training for toddlers at PAUD Arrahman and Lare Angon Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pelatihan toileting terhadap pengetahuan ibu dalam toilet training anak toddler di PAUD Arrahman dan Lare Angon Yogyakarta. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimental dengan rancangan pretest - posttest with control group. Sampel dipilih dengan teknik random sampling yang memenuhi kriteria yaitu ibu yang mempunyai anak toddler di PAUD di wilayah Kecamatan Gamping, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Observasi pertama dilakukan untuk mengukur pengetahuan ibu tentang toilet training anak toddler sebelum diberikan pelatihan dan observasi kedua dilakukan untuk mengukur pengetahuan sesudah diberikan pelatihan. Perbedaan pengetahuan antara sebelum dan sesudah intervensi dianalisis menggunakan Wilcoxon test, sedangkan perbedaan pengetahuan antara kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol dianalisis menggunakan Mann Whitney-U test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan peningkatan pengetahuan ibu tentang toilet training anak toddler antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol (p = 0,000). Selanjutnya disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan toileting menggunakan buku saku efektif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu dalam toilet training anak toddler di PAUD Arrahman dan Lare Angon Yogyakarta. Background: Infant mortality rate in Indonesia in 2012 is 32 per 1,000 live births. It is less pleasant ifcompared to the target Ministry of Health of Republic of Indonesia tries to achieve, which is 24 by 2014. The low rate of breastfeedingto one of the dominant factor that cause the mortality it is influenced by several factors, in which one of them is the mother’sknowledge about breast milk and breastfeeding. Health education on lactation management may help increase mothers’ ability to gain information as well as their confidence to breastfeeding their baby.Objective: This research is conducted with the purpose to know the effect of health education with audiovisual on lactation management to the level of knowledge and self-efficacy among breastfeeding mothers.Method: This research is categorized as quasi experimental one, whose design applies pre-test and post-test non-equivalent control group. It is conducted toward 32 breastfeeding mothers who receive health education as the treatment group, and to 32 breastfeeding mothers who are asked to read modules about breastfeeding as the control group. The sampling technique applies purposive sampling and simple random sampling. Data are processed by computer programs using Mann-Whitney test, Wilcoxon test, and linear regression model.Result and Discussion : The score for the value of knowledge before treatment among both groups were relatively similar (p>0.05). After treatment, both groups  have improvement, (p<0.05). The score of self-efficacy before treatment among both groups did not have significantly different (p>0.05). compared to control group, the intervention group has significantly higher score of knowledge (p>0.05)Conclusion: Health education by audiovisual media and modules are more effective to improve the knowledge and self-efficacy among breastfeeding mothers compared to by only modules.Keywords: Health education, Audiovisual, Modules, Knowledge, Breastfeeding, Self-Efficacy

The postpartum period is the beginning of lactation. New born babies should be able to suckle to his mother, but what happens in the field early in the postpartum period baby is difficult to suckle to his mother. Primary survey data on the first week of the postpartum period found 75% show that his milk is not yet fluent. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of rolling back massage to increase milk production in postpartum mothers. Design of this study uses quasi experimental method with time series approach. With consecutive sampling technique. The samples are 30 respondents with control group. An instrument used is observation sheet of baby’s urine frequency first until third days. Data analysis using repeated anova test.Based on the results of this study on the babys urine frequency on control group had a mean of 5.8. While the mean of intervention group was 7.3. The results of statistical tests using Repeated Anova test,  = 0.001 ( <0.05) which means there is the effect of rolling back massage to increase milk production in postpartum mothers. Based on the results of these studies it is known that the back rolling massage can be used as an alternative to increase milk production in postpartum mother in BPS, Puskesmas or Hospital.
