The high incidence of patients with coronary heart disease is directly proportional to the increase in cardiac catheterization. Many patients who experience anxiety pre heart catheterization will need nursing action. Relaxation with classical music therapy and or murottal therapy can reduce patient anxiety.  The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of murottal therapy and classical music therapy to reduce the anxiety of patients pre heart catheterization in the Elang Installation of Dr. Kariadi Hospital Semarang. The study was a Quasi Experiment study with two group pre and post-test design. The research sample consisted of 16 patients in the classical music therapy group and 16 in the murottal therapy group. The results of the study showed that there were differences in the effectiveness of murottal therapy and classical music therapy to decrease the anxiety of patients pre heart catheterization in the Elang Installation of Dr. Kariadi Hospital Semarang (p-value 0.028).  Murottal therapy is more effective in reducing anxiety. Music therapy and murottal therapy given with a duration of 30 minutes create a calm and comfortable atmosphere so that the body becomes more relaxed, blood circulation more smoothly, blood pressure and other vital signs will decrease and can reduce anxiety in pre cardiac catheterization patients. Murottal therapy is more effective in reducing anxiety in pre cardiac catheterization patients.

One of the factors that affect the frequency of the pulse is the emotion caused by  acute pain and anxiety to increase sympathetic stimulation, it is can increase the frequency of the pulse, respiration rate, tension of blood. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of music therapy on changes vital signs in patients postoperative fracture who experienced of pain in RSUD dr. Harjono Ponorogo. Design research is a one group pre - post test with Pre Experimental approach. The population studied were all patients postoperative fracture in dr. Harjono Ponorogo, by using a sampling technique accidental obtained sample was 26 respondents. The instrument used was observation. The results were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test (α = 0.05).  The results showed Effects of music therapy on blood pressure with a significan p-value (0.002), pulse rate with p-Value (0.025), Respiratory with p-value (0.014), and that no significant is the body temperature p-value (0.180). This is because the music therapy can stimulate the production of serotonin that can stabilize vital signs. The conclusion of this study is blood pressure, pulse and respiration can be affected by music therapy..Advice for nurses is expected to provide music therapy to patients by giving the impression that the music is relaxing and beautiful so as to bring the patient to a state of relaxation.; Keyword : Music Therapy, Vital Signs

Anxiety that is not handled properly can cause physical and psychological changes that ultimately can improve sympathetic nervous work and will increase heart rate, breath frequency, blood pressure, cold sweats, heartburn, urinary disorders, and generally reduce the energy level on patients thus harming the patient itself. In preoperative times patients face various stressors that cause anxiety. The development of music has a therapeutic effect in overcoming mood disorders, such as anxiety. This study aims at the influence of classical music therapy on preoperative patient anxiety at the Central Surgery Installation RSUP H. Adam Malik Medan. The type of research used in this research is quasi-experiment method through one group pretest post test design approach with 32 pre-operation respondents aged over 18 years. Data were collected using questionnaires. The result of bivariate analysis of this study is the influence of music therapy on preoperative anxiety in the Central Surgery Installation of RSUP. H. Adam Malik Medan shows p value = 0.000, and 0.000 <0,05 which means there is significant influence from giving classical music therapy on T test that is before given music therapy got result of test of T 382.531 become 301.288 (81,243). The results of this study It is expected to be a consideration of hospitals or nurses to make music therapy as one of nursing intervention in helping alleviate anxiety in preoperative patients who experience anxiety.

Surgery or surgery is a stressor for patients because it can bring potential and actual threats to the body, integrity, and soul of a person, causing emotional reactions such as fear, anger, anxiety, and anxiety with symptoms such as frequent asking questions, anxiety, rapid pulse, increased tension 20 % to 30%. The cause of anxiety in patients with preoperative section Caesarea is more specific, namely the concern for self and the baby to be born. Preoperative patient anxiety is very important, one of the nursing actions to overcome anxiety problems in patients can be independent actions by nurses such as relaxation and distraction techniques. This study aims to determine the difference between giving deep breathing relaxation techniques and music therapy to the anxiety of patients with cesarean section surgery with spinal anesthesia. This research method is quasi-experimental with pre-test and post-test design. Sampling by purposive sampling with the treatment of deep breathing relaxation techniques as many as 37 respondents and 37 respondents with music therapy controls, according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Breath relaxation in effectively reducing the anxiety of patients with section cesarean surgery with significance (p = 0,000). Music therapy is also effective in reducing the anxiety of patients with section cesarean surgery with significance (p = 0,000). But there was no difference in the decrease in anxiety after administration of deep breathing relaxation techniques and music therapy with significance (p) 0.317. Conclusion Deep breathing and music therapy together can reduce the anxiety of patients undergoing section cesarean surgery. Both actions can be used to complement nursing interventions that are already in the hospital.

Anak dengan keterbelakangan mental memiliki fungsi intelektual umum yang secara signifikan berada di bawah rata-rata dan kondisi tersebut memiliki pengaruh terhadap perkembangan kognitif anak. Salah satu terapi yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan kognitif anak terbelakang mental adalah dengan terapi musik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi musik klasik terhadap perkembangan kognitif anak retardasi mental. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SLB Negeri Pembina Mataram. Menggunakan preexperimental one group pretest and posttest design dengan jumlah sampel 36 orang dengan teknik purposive sampling. Terapi musik klasik diberikan dua kali selama 30 menit. Pengumpulan data perkembangan kognitif dengan kuesioner pengukuran perkembangan kognitif sederhana, dianalisis menggunakan Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perkembangan kognitif anak sebelum intervensi yaitu kategori kurang 61,11%, kategori cukup 25,00%, dan kategori baik 13,89%. Kemudian setelah intervensi menjadi kategori baik 52,78%, kategori cukup 30,55%, dan kategori kurang 16,67%. Berdasarkan hasil uji statistik didapatkan p=0,000. Maka, ada pengaruh terapi musik klasik terhadap perkembangan kognitif anak retardasi mental di SLB Negeri Pembina Mataram. Saran agar terapi musik klasik ini dapat diterapkan sebagai bagian dari terapi pada anak dengan retardasi mental.Child with mental retardation has general intellectual function that is below average significantly and that condition has an effects on the child's cognitive development. One of the therapy used to raises cognitive development of children with mental retardation is music therapy. This research aims to know the effect of classical music therapy on the cognitive development of children with mental retardation. This research has been held in SLB Negeri Pembina Mataram. The design used was quasy experiment with preexperimental one group pre test and post test design. The sample size were 36 samples who selected by purposive sampling technique. Classical music therapy was given twice with the duration of 30 minutes for each session. Data about cognitive development was collected by simple cognitive questionnaire and analyzed with Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test. The average of cognitive development before intervention was 61,11% in the less category, 25,00% in enough category and 13,89% in good category.  And then after intervention in good category is 52,78%, enough category is 30,55% and less category is 16,67%. Statistical test results obtained p value 0,000. Thus, there was an effect of classical music therapy on cognitive development of children with mental retardation. Suggestions that this classical music therapy can applied as part of therapy in children with mental retardation.

ABSTRACT Cardiac catheterization in people with CHD causes anxiety. This is due to lack of or limited information, knowledge, and understanding of probblem catheterization. So for that we need the provision of health education. This study aims to determine the effect of pre cardiac catheterization healt educatin on patient anxiety levels at IPJT RSSA Malang. This type of research is pre experimental with the one group pre test-post test desain. A population of 23 and a sample o 16 respondent by purposive sampling. This research as conducted in February 2019 at IPJT RSSA Malang. The instrument usedwas a questionnaire sheet. The result showed anxiety before being given health education was severe anxiety (19%), moderate anxiety (62%), mild aniety (19%). Whereas after health educatin was made a little anxiety (75%) dan no anxiety (25%). The results showed 15 repondents experiences a decrease in anxiety levels from pre-test scores to post test scores. Wilcoxon rank test statistikal test obtained p value of 0,0001 (<0,05). The conclusion of this study is that there is an influence on the provision of health education for cardiac catheterization on the level of anxiety of patients in the IPJT RSSA Malang. It is recomended to reduce the level of anxiet by providing pre cardiac catheterization health education with more interesting media. Hal ini dikarenakan kurangnya atau keterbatasan informasi, pengetahuan, dan pemahaman masalah kateterisasi jantung. Maka untuk itu diperlukan pemberian pendidikan kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pendidikan kesehatan prakateterisasi jantung terhadap tingkat kecemasan pasien di IPJT RSSA Malang. Jenis penelitian adalah praeksperimen dengan one group pre test-post test desain. Populasi sebanyak 23 orang dan sample 16 responden secara purposive sampling. Penelitian ini  dilakukan pada Februari 2019 di IPJT RSSA Malang. Instrumen yang digunakan  adalah lembar kuesiner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kecemasan sebelum dilakukan pendidikan kesehatan adalah cemas berat (19%), cemas sedang (62%) dan cemas ringan(19%). Sedangkan setelah dilakukan pendidikan kesehatan menjadi kecemasan ringan (75%) dan tidak ada kecemasan (25%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 15 responden mengalami penurunan tingkat kecemasan dari nilai pre test ke nilai post test. Uji statistik Wilcoxon signed rank test didapatkan p value sebesar 0,0001 (< 0,05). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah ada pengaruh pemberian pendidikan kesehatan prakateterisasi jantung terhadap tingkat kecemasan pasien di IPJT RSSA Malang. Disarankan untuk menekan tingkat kecemasan dengan pemberian pendidikan kesehatan prakateterisasi jantung dengan media yang lebih menarik. Pain is an unpleasant condition that is part of childbirth caused by physical or emotional stimulation. Labor pain management is needed to break the pain loop with all the consequences caused. Treatment of non-pharmacological pain is more selected because it is cheaper, safer, and can be done by maternity mothers or families such as religious music therapy and Effleurage Massage. This research aims to determine the difference in effectiveness of religious music therapy method with Massage Effleurage against maternity pain when I active phase Primigravida. This research is a Quasi-experiment with Pre and Post Test With Non Control Design, comparing two observations, namely Pre and Post Test of religious music therapy Group and Massage Effleurage Group. The instrument used is the Numeric Rating scale (NRS) scale observation sheet 0-10. The population in this study was a normal maternity mother who was in RS GrandMed Lubuk Pakam. Sampling using Probability Sampling technique with a sample amount of 36 people. The results of data analysis by using Independent T Test test showed the value of P value 0.02 < 0.05 which means there is a significant distinction between giving methods of religious music therapy with massage effleurage. Recommended to maternity mothers in order to apply the therapy for religious music and massage effleurage because both methods are effectively used to reduce labor pains

Background: The failure of post-partum mother in adapting to physical and emotional change oftentimes causes psychological disorder such as sadness, exasperation, tiredness, anger, and despair. At Denpasar City, the prevalence of post-partum blues depression based on EPDS score is 20.5%. Music therapy is an alternative to decrease emotional disturbance because music that enters pituitary gland could give response towards emotion through negative feedback on adrenal gland to suppress the release of stress hormones.Methods: The method which used in this research was quasi-experiment design with the framework of one group pre-test-post-test design on post-partum mothers in the seventh day after normal labor and did not experience hearing loss. The pre-test utilized EPDS questionnaire, if there had been a symptom of post-partum blues, they were given Mozart classical music therapy for 7 days and evaluated by questionnaire on the 14th day.Results: From the research on 30 post-partum blues sufferers, prior to the treatment of classical music therapy, it was found that the majority which was 24 respondents (80%) showed mild symptom with the mean value of 7.4. After the treatment of Mozart classical music, almost half of them or 11 respondents (36.7%) did not show post-partum blues symptom with the mean value of 1.4. There is an impact of Mozart classical music therapy treatment toward the decrease of post-partum blues symptom with the P value=0.00.Conclusions: In conclusion, Mozart classical music therapy is effective to decrease the post-partum blues symptom from the scale of 7.4 to 1.4 with p value (0.000).

Pain is the most dominant problem in post perative section caesarea.  Classical music therapy is one of the non-pharmacological methods with relaxation techniques. In Salatiga regional hospital accident management uses pharmacological techniques, namely analgesic administration and non-pharmacological techniques used to reduce pain are deep breathing techniques and have never used music therapy to reduce treatment in post cesarean patients. To find out the effectivity of classical music therapy toward decreasing pain intensity to post sectio caesarea patient . This research used pre-experimental with a pre-test and post-test design. The sampling technique in this research used a purposive sampling with a total sample of 15 mothers post section caesarea . Test analysis used a statistical paired sample T test. The results of the study obtained an average age of 29 years of respondents with the education of most junior high schools, the average pain before intervention was 7.60 and after intervention was 5.73. There was a significant difference of pain intensity before and after being given classical music therapy (P value 0,000). Statistically the provision of classical music therapy can reduce pain intensity in post section caesarean patients (P value 0,000). ABSTRAK Nyeri merupakan masalah yang paling mendominasi pada pasca pembedahan section caesarea.Terapi musik klasik merupakan salah satu metode non farmakologi dengan teknik relaksasi. Di RSUD Salatiga penatalaksanaan nyeri menggunakan teknik farmakologi yaitu pemberian analgesik dan teknik non farmakologi yang digunakan untuk mengurangi nyeri adalah teknik nafas dalam dan belum pernah menggunakan terapi musik untuk mengurangi nyeri pada pasien post operasi Caesar. Untuk mengetahui efektifitas pemberian terapi musik klasik terhadap intensitas nyeri pada pasien post section caesarea  Penelitian ini menggunakan pre eksperimental dengan pendekatan pre test and post test design. Teknik pengambilan pada penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 15 ibu post section caesarea . Uji analisis menggunakan uji statistik paired sample T test. Hasil peneltian diperoleh rata-rata umur responden 29 tahun dengan pendidikan sebagian besar SMP, rata-rata nyeri sebelum diberikan intervensi sebesar 7,60 dan sesudah diberikan intervensi sebesar 5,73. Ada perbedaan signifikan intensitas nyeri sebelum dan sesudah diberikan terapi musik klasik ( P value 0,000 ). Secara statistik pemberian terapi music klasik dapat menurunkan intensitas nyeri pada pasien post section caesarea (P value 0,000 ).

       An appendectomy is a surgical procedure performed to cut the inflamed appendix tissue. Appendectomy can cause tissue continuity and pain in the peripheral nervous system. Non-pharmacological pain management can use classical music therapy and finger grips. A preliminary study conducted in RSUD Kab. Karanganyar found the incidence of appendectomy in July-September 2019 as many as 48 patients. To find out the comparison of classical music therapy and finger grips on the reduction of postoperative appendectomy pain, a Quasi experimental research method was used with two group comparisons pretest-posttest design, with the sampling technique is accidental sampling. From the results based on the Wilcoxon test in the classical music therapy group and finger grasping, the p value was 0.038, because the p value was <0.05, there was a difference in pain intensity before and after being given classical music therapy and finger grips. The Mann-Whitney test in the pre-test group obtained each p value of 0.650, because the p value> 0.05, it can be concluded that there is no significant difference in decreasing pain scale in postoperative appendectomy patients who are given finger grips and classical music. each of them has effectiveness in reducing post appendectomy pain. Classical music therapy and finger grips were equally effective in reducing postoperative pain in the appendectomy

Preparation of patients mental before to surgery is needed. If patients experience severe anxiety and panic operating plan will be delayed, it will allow a greater risk of infection. From various research show that music has a strong influence on health, especially in calming the mind, reduce physical tension and create a relaxed state, if the patient in a relaxed state is expected to affect physiological responses. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of classical music therapy on physiological responses in patients who underwent orthopedic praoperatif anxiety. The study design is pre-experiment with a sample of 30 people using purposive sampling. Music therapy is given for ± 30 minutes. The analysis used were Paired Sample T Test and Wilcoxon. Obtained mean systolic blood pressure was 120.2 mmHg before therapy, after therapy 119.6 mmHg, p value = 0.227. Mean diastolic blood pressure before treatment was 74.1 mmHg, 73.2 mmHg after therapy is, p value = 0.133. Mean heart rate before treatment was 81.8 x / min, after therapy was 79 x / minute, p value = 0.005. Median respiratory frequency before treatment was 23 x / minute, after the therapy is 21 x / minute, p value = 0.001. This shows the classical music therapy has an influence on heart rate and respiratory frequency in patients who underwent orthopedic praoperatif anxiety. Researchers recommend the use of classical music therapy with a frequency of 2 to 3 times a day before patients undergo surgery in order to obtain an optimal relaxation effects.
