This educational program was conducted in Kampung Bojong, Pamagersari Village with the target are children aged 5-14 years. The methods are socialization, education, action, and advocacy activities equipped with COBOY learning media. In cognitive aspect, the results have showed an increase understanding and positive changes towards mindset of participants in managing environment based on the four aspects of assessment from the lowest 36.7% to 83.3% which can be seen from the results of pretest and posttest. Affectively, there has been an increase in skills and positive attitude of participants in maintaining the environment especially managing the waste. As effort to expand the benefits has also been carried out the socialization of Training of Trainer (ToT) in SDN 01 Jasinga and has cooperated with Bureau of HUMAS Ministry of Forestry and Environment (KLHK) RI in disseminating environmental education to schools.

         Related literature indicates that the internet has an important role and great potential in language learning. It is also obvious that the attitudes of students affect the learning process significantly. This research aimed to find out the students’ attitude toward the use of the internet in English classrooms. The design of this research was survey research in which the sample was collected from 37 students at SMK Pembangunan Bukittinggi which used simple random sampling as the technique sampling of the research. Additionally, the analysis of the data was done by identifying the respondent’s responses, analyzing the data, and making a conclusion. The result showed that the mean score of students’ attitudes toward the use of the internet in the cognitive aspect was 3.7. It means that the students had a positive attitude in the cognitive aspect. Besides, the mean score of students’ attitudes toward the use of the internet in terms of the affective was 3.3. It means the students had a positive attitude toward the use of the internet in terms of affective. In addition, the mean of the conative attitude statement was 3.4. It means the students had a positive attitude in the conative aspect related to the use of the internet.

The goal of this article is to determine the most significant from the perspective of visitors and experts characteristics of environmental educational program. The object of this research is the informal environmental education, while the subjects is the curriculum of informal environmental education implanted in ethnographic nomad camp the House of Northern People. Special attention is given to the conceptual and formal characteristics of the examined program. The authors’ contribution consists in determination of characteristics that affect the audience and change their attitude towards surrounding environment. Analysis is conducted on the theoretical research dedicated to modern environmental education and determination of basic characteristics; conceptual and formal characteristics of the curriculum; three types of responses that allowed identifying the most effective characteristics of the curriculum. The scientific novelty consists in the complex method of research, which suggests the analysis of several types of responses for determining most effective characteristics of educational program, as well as in description of the unique platform for realization of this program. The theoretical significance of this work is associated with the search for an optimal set of conceptual and formal characteristics of educational programs that form responsible environmental behavior. The conclusion is made that environmental education is impossible in the old educational paradigm. Therefore, the author offers informal vocational environmental education based on the wisdom of indigenous peoples and containing elements common to the modern environmental education. However some characteristic require further development. The conceptual characteristics did not find reflection in the responses, although the formal characteristics of environmental education are mentioned (emotional and aesthetic impact, informal nature, involvement in the discussed questions, and events in form of games). The analysis of examination carried out by the pedagogues demonstrates the presence of almost all characteristics of educational program. The acquired results be used for improving the program under consideration, and curricula of environmental education overall.

<p>The purpose of this study is to analyse the attitudes of prospective science, elementary school and social sciences teachers who will provide environmental education in elementary and secondary schools in the future towards solid wastes and recycling in terms of various variables. The sample of the study consists of 149 pre-service teachers who are receiving education at the education faculty of a university located in Middle Anatolia Region in Turkey. "Scale of Pre-service Teachers' Attitudes towards Solid Wastes and Recycling", which was developed by Karatekin (2013) and which consists of three dimensions and 33 items was used in this study which was conducted by screening model. As a result of the study, it was revealed that pre-service teachers generally have a positive attitude towards solid wastes and recycling. Besides, there is a difference among the pre-service teachers' attitudes in all three dimensions of the scale with regard to gender and department. Also, the scores of pre-service teachers for the initiative and participation and interest and sensitivity dimensions of the scale vary depending on their behaviours of separating the wastes and throwing them into the related recycle bin and preferring products that are suitable for recycling. It was found out that there is no difference among the participants' scores of attitudes towards solid wastes and recycling in terms of settlement, level of income, educational level of the parents and membership to environmental associations.</p><p><strong>Özet</strong></p><p>Yapılan bu araştırmanın amacı öğretmen olduklarında ilkokul ve ortaokullarda çevre eğitimi verecek olan fen bilgisi, sınıf ve sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının katı atıklar ve geri dönüşüme yönelik tutumlarının farklı değişkenler açısından incelenmesidir.  Araştırmanın örneklemini Türkiye’nin İç Anadolu Bölgesinde bulunan bir üniversitenin eğitim fakültesinde öğrenim gören 149 öğretmen adayı oluşturmaktadır. Tarama modelinde gerçekleştirilen araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Karatekin (2013) tarafından geliştirilen, üç alt boyutlu ve toplam 33 sorudan oluşan “Öğretmen Adayları İçin Katı Atık ve Geri Dönüşüme Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öğretmen adaylarının katı atıklar ve geri dönüşüme yönelik tutumlarının genel olarak olumlu olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bununla birlikte öğretmen adaylarının tutum ölçeğinin üç alt boyutunda da tutumları arasında cinsiyetlerine ve anabilim dallarına göre farklık bulunmaktadır. Ayrıca öğretmen adaylarının tutum ölçeğinin girişim ve katılım ile ilgi ve duyarlılık alt boyutu puanları adayların atıkları ayrıştırarak ilgili geri dönüşüm kutusuna atma ve geri dönüşüme uygun ürünleri tercih etme davranışlarına göre farklılaşmaktadır. Araştırmaya katılan öğretmen adaylarının katı atıklar ve geri dönüşüme yönelik tutum ölçeği alt boyutu puanları arasında adayların yerleşim birimi, gelir düzeyi, ebeveynlerinin eğitim durumu ve çevre kuruluşuna üyelik durumları bakımından herhangi bir farklılığın olmadığı belirlenmiştir.</p>

This study aims to determine the knowledge, feelings, and actions of Generation Z about the i-Bagendit Digital Library. The scope of this study includes the attitudes of Generation Z using three indicators of Cognitive, Affective, and conative . The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study are members of the i-Bagendit Digital Library, amounting to 198 people, with a sample of 50 respondents including Generation Z active users of the i-Bagendit Digital Library. The data collection technique uses a digital questionnaire distributed online. The results of this study prove the existence of a positive attitude given by Generation Z users of the i-Bagendit Digital Library. In the cognitive aspect, the percentage figure is 61.7%, proving that Generation Z has sufficient knowledge about the i-Bagendit Digital Library. In the affective aspect, the percentage figure is 78%, proving that Generation Z has positive feelings about the i-Bagendit Digital Library. In the conative aspect, the percentage figure is 71.4%, proving that Generation Z has positive actions about the i-Bagendit Digital Library. In the future, it is hoped that the management of the i-Bagendit Digital Library can increase the quantity of digital collections, design displays, and interesting features.

Com a intensa urbanização e crescimento das cidades, o tema arborização urbana se torna um tema importante dentro das questões ambientais discutidas e praticadas atualmente. Visto que nem sempre a população reconhece a importância das árvores, este trabalho teve a finalidade de investigar as concepções de munícipes da cidade de Rio Claro-SP sobre a arborização urbana, tentando analisar os significados do tema para essa população. Para atingir esse objetivo, usou-se a abordagem qualitativa, com entrevistas semiestruturadas; levando em consideração, além das respostas obtidas, as circunstâncias e o ambiente ao qual o entrevistado está inserido. A maioria dos entrevistados, aparentemente, reconhece a importância da arborização urbana; embora, muitas vezes, de forma utilitarista e antropocêntrica. Perspectiva que a educação ambiental pode ajudar a ser superada para que o reconhecimento das árvores seja ampliado, envolvendo, além dos conhecimentos, valores e ações mais apropriadas. Con la intensa urbanización y crecimiento de las ciudades, se hace importante el tema de arborización urbana, haciendo parte de las cuestiones ambientales discutidas actualmente. Dado que no siempre la población comprende esa necesidad, no reconociendo los árboles como importantes, este trabajo tuvo la finalidad de investigar las concepciones de algunos residentes de la ciudad de Río Claro sobre la arborización urbana, intentando analizar los significados del tema para esa población. Para alcanzar ese objetivo, se utilizó el abordaje cualitativo, con entrevistas semi estructuradas, tomando en consideración, además de las respuestas obtenidas, las circunstancias y el ambiente al cual el entrevistado está inserto. La mayoría de los entrevistados, aparentemente, reconoce la importancia de la arborización urbana, aunque a menudo, de forma utilitarista y antropocéntrica. Perspectiva que la educación ambiental puede ayudar a ser superada para que el reconocimiento de los árboles sea ampliado, ofreciendo, además de los conocimientos, valores y acciones más apropiados. The intense urbanization and growth of big cities has become the urban afforestation an important subject within the environmental issues. This research purposes an investigation of Rio Claro citizens opinion about the subject since the population usually refuses to recognize the importance of the trees. Qualitative approach with semi-structured interviews was used to achieve this goal, takin into account the circumstances and the environment where the interviewee was inserted. Most respondents apparently recognize the importance of urban forestation; though often utilitarian and anthropocentric. It's expected that environmental education can provide the recognition of trees, involving a positive attitude about environment.

Context: Globally, every minute, at least one pregnant woman dies from obstetric complications.  Also, the majority of neonatal deaths occur during the first week of life. These mortality rates can be reduced by increased knowledge, positive attitude, and appropriate reaction regarding obstetric and newborn danger signs. Aim: of the study was to examine the effect of health education program on knowledge, attitude, and the reaction of pregnant women regarding obstetric and newborn danger signs. Methods: A quasi-experimental research (pre/post-intervention) design was utilized to achieve this study's aim. A purposive sample of 70 pregnant women was recruited according to inclusion criteria. This research was conducted in the Antenatal Outpatient Clinic at Benha University Hospital. Two tools were used for data collection. They were a Structured Interviewing Questionnaire and a Modified Likert Scale to assess women's attitude. Results: 77.1% had poor knowledge pre educational program compared by 92.9% post educational program intervention. Regarding attitude, 52.9% had a negative attitude preprogram compared to 87.1% had a positive attitude post-program with a statistically significant difference between the two phases regarding all knowledge elements. The majority of them (83.3%) had an appropriate reaction (seeking medical help) after the educational program than a few of them pre educational program. Conclusion: The implementation educational program significantly improved pregnant women’s knowledge, attitude, and reaction regarding obstetrics and newborn danger signs. The study recommended developing antenatal classes for all pregnant women about key danger signs, appropriate decisions, and reactions in obstetric and newborn danger signs. Further research regarding replicating this study on a large representative probability sample is highly recommended to achieve more generalization of the results.

This study aimed to find out students’ attitude toward “Quipper School” as an English online learning media. The population of this research was the whole students of SMAN 1 Argamakmur Bengkulu Utara, with the total population of 667 students. The sample of this research was 158 students. It was chosen by using clustered random sampling. The instrument that was used in this research was questionnaire which consists of 27 items and was divided into three aspects, namely cognitive, affective, and behavior aspect. The interview was used to confirm and to support the data from the questionnaire. The result of this research shows that students had positive attitude toward “Quipper School” as an English online learning media, with the mean score for all aspect was 3.76; the mean score for cognitive aspect was 3.85; the mean score for affective aspect was 3.71; and the mean score for behavior aspect was 3.72. It means that students of SMAN 1 Argamakmur Bengkulu Utara generally have a positive attitude toward “Quipper School” as an English online learning media.

The purpose of this article is to describe positive, solution-focused educational program that speech-language pathologists can implement with family care partners to improve relationships and provide quality care for someone living with MCI.
