In learning mathematics, students can use everyday contexts that are familiar and liked by students. The use of context in mathematics learning can increase motivation and appreciation which will have an effect on increasing learning achievement. The field of sport or sports, especially football, is one of the fields favored by almost every student. Using the context of football in mathematics learning, both as a learning resource and as a recreation of mathematics can help increase curiosity, reflective / critical thinking, and of course an appreciation of mathematics. There are many mathematical aspects to the game of football (Soccer or Football). such as the topic of numbers, geometry to the odds that can be taught on the topic of football. However, the problems of mathematics and sports science have been presented separately. Whereas in mathematics learning can use the context of soccer.The method used in this activity uses the online method by conducting webinars using the Zoom Platform. To realize this method, perform stages or stages, namely, 1) Planning, 2) Implementation, and 3) Evaluation. The aim of this program is to provide an understanding of the relevance of mathematics learning in the context of football. The results obtained from this activity were that the participants expressed satisfaction with the activities carried out, gained knowledge that mathematics learning could be related to the context of playing football

Various research and facts on the field show that students' mathematics learning achievement in Indonesia has not been satisfactory. This is due to various factors, one of which is the method of learning and the ability of students. One of the cognitive abilities that play a role in the success of students in learning mathematics is the ability of mathematical connections. In addition, affective ability is also very important role, one of them ability self efficacy. Between the ability of mathematical connections and self efficacy is positively correlated which became one of the determinants of the success of learning mathematics students. This article intends to examine the effect of applying Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) model to the ability of mathematical connection and student self efficacy. The method of writing this article is a study of literature sourced from previous studies and related journals.

<p>The research is an experiment conducted in SMA Negeri 8 Tangerang City, Banten, on the influence of learning and use of media interest in learning of mathematics learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to analyze the <br />influence of media use to learn and interest in learning mathematics learning <br />outcomes. (Experiment In Student Class XI IPA SMAN 8 Tangerang City Year <br />Lesson 2010/2011). The research method used is an experimental method using <br />the technique "factor analysis" with "Two Way Anova", aided by SPSS version <br />15.0. The results of the analysis studies suggest that: 1) There is the media's <br />influence on the learning outcomes of mathematics learning, 2) There is interest <br />in studying the influence on the results of studying mathematics, and 3) There is no interaction between the learning outcomes of students with interest in learning mathematics students. </p>

The formulation of the problem in this research are: (1) How the result of learning mathematics of students after taught by SAVI learning model?, (2) How the result of learning mathematics of students after taught by NHT learning model?, (3) Is the result of learning mathematics of students who taught with SAVI learning model is higher than students taught by NHT learning model. The purpose of this study are: (1) To know how the results of learning mathematics students after teaching with SAVI learning model, (2) To find out how the results of learning mathematics students after being taught with NHT learning model, (3) To determine whether the results of learning mathematics students taught by SAVI learning models higher than students taught by NHT learning models. Type of research using experimental method. The population in this study is all students of class X spread in 11 parallel classes with the number of 310 people. Sampling was done by using cluster random sampling technique. In this research as a sample taken 2 classes from the entire population that is class X A3 as experiment class 1 using SAVI learning model and class X A1 as experiment class 2 using NHT learning model. From result of data analysis obtained that: (1) result of student learning taught by using SAVI learning model which consist of 25 students show minimum value 62, maximum value 96, mean (mean) 80,36, with standard deviation 9,10; (2) student learning outcomes taught using NHT learning model consisting of 25 students showing minimum score 62, maximum value 96, mean (mean) 79,62, with standard deviation 10,512; (3) result of t-test analysis using independent sample t-test obtained tcount = 0,302 at = 0,05 with degrees of freedom (dk) = 48 obtained t table = 2,011. Because t <t table then Ha is rejected and H0 is accepted. So it can be concluded that the mathematics learning outcomes of students who were taught with the SAVI model was not higher than the students taught by the NHT model.

Memory obviously plays an important role in knowledge retention. In particular, when learning mathematics students claim that much of what is taught in classrooms is soon forgotten and learning mathematics is difficult or not interesting. Neuroscience, through its study on long term memory, has tried to identify why these phenomena occur. Then some possible solutions are suggested. Understanding the processes of memory storage including acquisition, consolidation, recoding, storing and retrieval helps teachers to efficiently plan for effective learning activities. Therefore, this paper outlines the potential implication of long term memory to mathematics learning as well as suggests some learning strategies that might solve students‟ and teachers‟ problem in learning mathematics.

Student interest in learning is a very important factor in determining student success in learning mathematics. Various attempts were made by educators and educational researchers to increase student interest in learning. This research is a classroom action research model by Kemmis and Mc Taggart that aims to describe the application of Guided Discovery learning in optimizing students' interest in learning mathematics. The increase in students' interest in learning mathematics is also supported by the results of student achievement. The research data consisted of students' interest in learning mathematics, learning achievement data, and observations of learning outcomes. Data on learning interest in mathematics is obtained through a questionnaire, data on learning achievement is obtained through tests and data on the results of observations of learning achievement are obtained through observation sheets during learning. In general, the results of the study showed that the average student interest in learning mathematics at 83.93 reached the good category. The completeness of student achievement test results reached 83.87% of students achieving the minimum completeness criteria with an average student score of 85.61. The percentage of teacher and student learning outcomes respectively at 83.80% and 76.91% reached the good category. Therefore it can be concluded that the Guided Discovery learning model can be applied to optimize students' interest in mathematics learning especially by paying attention to the results of reflections from this study.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Kota Bengkulu dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif (Descriptive Research). Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII F SMP Negeri 2 Kota Bengkulu Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018 yang berjumlah 34 orang peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar tes dan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) pada materi lingkaran. Berdasarkan hasil deskriptif hasil belajar matematika peserta didik menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar peserta didik menjadi lebih meningkat. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan rata-rata hasil nilai LKPD menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning yaitu 89,63 dan rata-rata nilai tes yaitu 84,56.Kata Kunci : Deskriptif, Hasil Belajar Belajar, Problem Based LearningABSTRACTThe aim of this research was to describe the results of learning mathematics students VIII grade SMP Negeri 2 Kota Bengkulu with Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. Abstract This study aims to improve creativity and student achievement in learning mathematics in class X MIPA MA Bahrul Ulum Jombang. In general, this study seeks to increase creativity and student achievement by using a cooperative type TAI (Team Assisted Individualization) model. This type of research is Class Action Research (CAR). The subjects of this research were 32 students of class X MIPA MA Bahrul Ulum. The object of this research is the implementation of mathematics learning using a cooperative type TAI (Team Assisted Individualization) model. This Classroom Action Research was conducted in 2 cycles, each of which consisted of 2 meetings. Data obtained from observation sheets, field notes, student creativity questionnaires, results of student and teacher interviews, cycle tests, and documentation. The results of the study showed that using a cooperative model type TAI (Team Assisted Individualization). Can improve creativity and student achievement. Student creativity seen from all indicators of creativity has increased. In the first cycle of 58%, the second cycle was 80%. Creativity can be seen from the ability to produce a lot of ideas, the ability to express various kinds of solutions to problems, the ability to find answers, tend to give more answers, respond to questions asked, have many questions, and be able to describe things in detail. Mathematics learning achievement of students experienced an increase seen from the average cycle test score in class X MIPA MA Bahrul Ulum, from 62.74 to 79.84. Student learning achievement can be achieved from the changes in actions taken by changing previous learning. Keywords: TAI, Creativity, Learning Achievement Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dan prestasi belajar siswa pada pembelajaran matematika kelas X MIPA MA Bahrul Ulum Jombang. Secara umum penelitian ini mengupayakan peningkatan kreativitas dan prestasi belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model kooperatif tipe TAI (Team Assisted Individualization). Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIPA MA Bahrul Ulum yang berjumlah 32 orang. Objek penelitian ini adalah pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan model kooperatif tipe TAI (Team Assisted Individualization). Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini terlaksana dalam 2 siklus yang masing-masing siklus terdiri dari 2 pertemuan. Data diperoleh dari lembar observasi, catatan lapangan, angket kreativitas siswa, hasil wawancara siswa dan guru, tes siklus, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model kooperatif tipe TAI (Team Assisted Individualization).dapat meningkatkan kreativitas dan prestasi belajar siswa. Kreativitas siswa yang dilihat dari semua indikator kreativitas mengalami peningkatan. Pada siklus I sebesar 58%, pada siklus II sebesar 80%. Kreativitas dapat dilihat dari kemampuan menghasikan banyak gagasan, kemampuan mengemukakan barmacam-macam pemecahan terhadap masalah, kemampuan menemukan jawaban, cenderung memberi jawaban yang lebih banyak, menanggapi pertanyaan yang diajukan, mempunyai banyak pertanyaan, dan mampu menguraikan sesuatu secara terperinci. Prestasi belajar matematika siswa mengalami peningkatan yang dilihat dari rata-rata skor tes siklus pada kelas X MIPA MA Bahrul Ulum yaitu dari 62.74 menjadi 79.84. Prestasi belajar siswa dapat tercapai dari adanya perubahan tindakan yang dilakukan dengan mengubah pembelajaran sebelumnya. Kata kunci: TAI, Kreativitas, Prestasi Belajar

Abstrak: Permasalahan penelitian bagaimana meningkatkan prestasi belajar pada materi pokok rumus segitiga dengan menerapkan metode discovery learning. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa melalui penerapan metode discovery learning. Sumber data penelitian adalah siswa kelas X MM2 SMK Negeri 1 Kabanjahe Kabupaten Karo Provinsi Sumatera Utara pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 berjumlah 32 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian penerapan menunjukan metode discovery learning dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar pada siswa kelas X MM2 SMK Negeri 1 Kabanjahe materi pokok Rumus Segitiga. Hasil prasiklus ditemukan 13 siswa (48,15%) dari 32 siswa tuntas belajar. Hasil ini meningkat pada Siklus  menjadi 17 siswa tuntas belajar atau (62,96%), dan selanjutnya pada Siklus I mencapai 23 siswa tuntas belajar (85,19%). Rata-rata hasil belajar Matematika menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dari prasiklus sebesar 57,34 menjadi 64,69 pada Siklus I, lalu meningkat pada Siklus II sebesar 79,53. Dengan demikian penerapan metode discovery learning terbukti meningkatkan prestasi belajar Matematika materi rumus segitiga pada kelas X MM2 SMK Negeri 1 Kabanjahe, sehingga dapat untuk diterapkan. Kata kunci: Pembelajaran discovery learning, Prestasi belajar Matematika Abstract: The research problem is how to improve learning achievement on the subject matter of the triangle formula by applying the discovery learning method. The purpose of the study was to determine the increase in student achievement through the application of the discovery learning method. The source of the research data were students of class X MM2 SMK Negeri 1 Kabanjahe, Karo Regency, North Sumatra Province in the even semester of the 2018/2019 academic year totaling 32 students. Data collection was carried out quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of the application research show that the discovery learning method can improve learning achievement in class X MM2 SMK Negeri 1 Kabanjahe with the subject matter of the Triangle Formula. Pre-cycle results found 13 students (48.15%) out of 32 students had completed their studies. This result increased in the cycle to 17 students who finished studying or (62.96%) and then in the cycle reached 23 students who finished learning (85.19%). The average mathematics learning outcomes showed a significant increase from pre-cycle of 57.34 to 64.69 in Cycle, then increased to 79.53 in Cycle I. Thus, the application of the discovery learning method is proven to improve learning achievement in mathematics with the triangle formula material in class X MM2 SMK Negeri 1 Kabanjahe, so it can be applied. Keywords: Discovery learning, Mathematics learning achievement

This research is a quasi-experimental research with an experimental design aimed at: 1) know the influence of the presentation of material in the form of comic media and without comic media on student mathematics learning outcomes; 2) know the interaction of the presentation of the material with learning motivation towards student mathematics learning outcomes; 3) find out whether the results of learning mathematics students who have high learning motivation and are taught by presenting material in the form of comic media is higher than without using comic media; 4)find out whether the results of learning mathematics students who have low learning motivation and are taught by presenting material in the form of comic media is higher than without using comic media. This research involved all SMP in Kab. Gowa. Determination of the sample is done by selecting an A accredited school, while determining the class as a sampling unit using the Purposive Sampling technique with the selected class having more dominant reading interest. So that class VIIIA was chosen at SMP Neg. 1 Sungguminasa as an experimental class and Class VIIIB in SMP Neg. 4 Sungguminasa as a control class. Variables consist of free variables and bound variables. Free variables presented in the form of a comic media and learning motivation while bound variables using the student maths result. The learning tools developed consists of students book (comic media), students worksheet book (comic media) and lesson plan. The data collected in this study were students 'learning motivation obtained using the learning motivation questionnaire instrument and students' mathematics learning outcomes were obtained using the mathematics learning achievement test instrument. Analysis of student mathematics learning outcomes test results using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis namely ANAVA and independent sample t-test. The results that:1) there is an influence between the presentation of material in the form of comic media and the presentation of material without using comic media on student mathematics learning outcomes; 2) there is no interaction of the presentation of the material with learning motivation on student mathematics learning outcomes; 3) mathematics learning outcomes of students who have high learning motivation and are taught by presenting material in the form of comic media are higher than without using comic media; 4) mathematics learning outcomes of students who have low learning motivation and are taught by presenting material in the form of comic media are higher than without using comic media.

This research is motivated by the obstacles experienced by students in learning mathematics, this is of course influenced by the efforts of teachers as educators in achieving educational goals. But in reality, currently there are still many teachers who do not use learning media, especially in learning mathematics. This causes students to experience learning difficulties. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Dakota media on student achievement. One of the learning media that can be used by teachers, especially FPB and KPK material, is Dakota media. The method used in this research is a quantitative experiment. The population and sample were all fourth-grade students of SDN Pasanggrahan for the 2019/2020 school year. The sampling technique used was the saturated sampling technique, which means that all populations were used as samples. The instruments used were tests and questionnaires. The data collected in this study were mathematics learning achievement obtained through pre-test and post-test. The data were processed using the independent sample t-test. The results of this study indicate that student activity has increased. The results of testing the hypothesis obtained are 0.023 <0.05, which indicates that student learning activeness can affect the role of Dakota learning media on student learning achievement.
