Scholars seem to have been interested in the world of Sufism since long time ago. Some of them have begun to study about Sufism deeply, and the results are different; some of them have gotten objective one but unfortunately, some have been mistaken. Ibn ‘Arabi is one of the prominent Sufis whom they put as the object study. He is indeed controversial for his statements. However many Sufis entitled him as the great master, “Syaikh Al-Akbar”, the title which never been given to any Sufis after him and before him. Recently his thought has been regarded carrying on it the idea of pantheism, transcendentalism, and even pluralism. Some scholars use his oft-quoted ode which contains that he followed “religion of love”, “…Adinu Bidin Al Hub Anna Tawajjahat Rakayibuhu Fal Hubbu Dini Wa Imani…”, to back up their concept. According to them no matter what religion it is, as long as it stands on love, those religions lead to the same summit. And this would have to be revised for Ibn ‘Arabi never meant that. Based on the case mentioned above, the writer tries to study Ibn ‘Arabi’s thought especially about his view on love to find out whether that accusation on him true or false. To get better result in his study, the writer collects some data which are related to this study which consist of Ibn ‘Arabi’s works and some other commentaries on him written by some scholars. Later, those data will be analyzed using integrated methods i.e.; descriptive method, analytical method, and critical method.                                                                                                  The writer concludes some important points which have to be noticed well. That Ibn ‘Arabi’s entire concepts are based on his wahdatul wujud includes his concept of love. As well as his wahdatul wujud, his view on love doesn’t stand for any idea of pantheist nor transcendentalist, nor even pluralist. According to him, Allah SWT is the source of all love which evokes another love that he divided into four divisions. And then he discussed that love is such fitrah of poverty (al iftiqar) toward Allah SWT which exists in the deepest of human soul, and it is beauty which make people love Allah SWT because He Almighty is beautiful. Further, Ibn ‘Arabi stated emphatically that he followed “religion of love” which refers to religion (al din) based on love brought by Muhammad SAW for Allah SWT loves Him SAW. Finally, the writer comes to a conclusion that to love Allah SWT is to love His Almighty Messenger, Muhammad SAW, because it is the essence of loving Him Almighty. And to love Muhammad SAW is to follow his orders and to stay away from his prohibitions which are written in his laws (syari’at) which determined by Allah SWT. Thus, what Ibn ‘Arabi and other Sufis as such Al Ghazali suggested in their works.

The Sempalan sect taught by Abah Pal Lima has been developing for a long time, with a number of followers of more than seven thousand people scattered across different regions, and its teachings do not have a handbook. People are interested in this teaching because they have advantages such as alternative medicine and other magic powers. Throughout his teachings, he also believes in the presence of God, who has different qualities but does not believe in the foundations of faith and the pillars of Islam. So do not believe in the existence of gods, prophets, holy books (the Koran) as well as the question of taqdir, and there is no duty to worship and not to make prayers, fasting, zakat and pilgrimages. He assumed that besides him and his followers, they were considered heretics and would go to hell. This teaching gives priority to mental problems and believes that they are "inner people" who are in "culture" rather than "born" people in "the world." This is their reason for not carrying out the obligations ordered by Allah Almighty. The teachings of Abah Pal Lima is strongly influenced by the teachings of tasawuf wahdat al-wujud (unity of being) which was developed by Ibn Arabi, because it discusses the problem of Nur Muhammad and in humans, there is an element of divinity in addition to the element of being (al-Haq and al-Khalq). It is also influenced by the teachings of al-Farabi on the principle of emanation or delegation. The teaching of Abah Pal Lima was heretically rejected by the Banjarmasin City Ulema Council on 06 Jumadil Awwal 1439 A.D./23 January 2018 AD with a letter-number. 004/DPK-MUI / Bjm/1/1/2018, since the contents of the teachings, are in accordance with the ten criteria for heresy according to the MUI.

The phenomenon of economic growth is studied by economists and statisticians in various aspects for a long time. Economic theory is devoted to assessing factors of growth in the tradition of R. Solow, R. Barrow, W. Easterly and others. During the last quarter of the century, however, the institutionalists, namely D. North, D. Wallis, B. Weingast as well as D. Acemoglu and J. Robinson, have shown the complexity of the problem of development on the part of socioeconomic and political institutions. As a result, solving the problem of how economic growth affects inequality between countries has proved extremely difficult. The modern world is very diverse in terms of development level, and the article offers a new approach to the formation of the idea of stylized facts using cluster analysis. The existing statistics allows to estimate on a unified basis the level of GDP production by 174 countries of the world for 1992—2016. The article presents a structured picture of the world: the distribution of countries in seven clusters, different in levels of development. During the period under review, there was a strong per capita GDP growth in PPP in the middle of the distribution, poverty in various countries declined markedly. At the same time, in 1992—2016, the difference increased not only between rich and poor groups of countries, but also between clusters.

Cruel and inhumane acts that harm human life and health, as well as humiliate the dignity, are prohibited in most countries of the world, and Russia is no exception in this issue. The article presents an analysis of the institution of responsibility for torture in the Russian Federation. The author comes to the conclusion that the current criminal law of Russia superficially and fragmentally regulates liability for torture, in connection with which the author formulated the proposals to define such act as an independent crime. In the frame of modern globalization, the world community pays special attention to the protection of human rights, in connection with which large-scale international standards have been created a long time ago. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other international acts enshrine prohibitions of cruel and inhumane acts that harm human life and health, as well as degrade the dignity.Considering the historical experience of the past, these standards focus on the prohibition of any kind of torture, regardless of the purpose of their implementation.

Social movement is an effort to provide benefits to others. However, within the context of cultivating the character, research on social movement through socio-drama based on local wisdom is very limited. This study aims to examine the increasing character of nationalism through social movements in the form of socio-drama. Research subjects were elementary and secondary students residing in rural area. This research used qualitative and descriptive method. Data collection techniques were documentations, observations, and interviews. The results showed that the increased character of nationalism only arise when playing socio-drama only, they would return to the previous character. Cultivating the character values need a long time, so the change of character did not necessarily happen.

ABSTRACTShare of Indonesia's export value of natural rubber in the international market is almost always below Thailand, which is one of the competiting countries. The others countries began to become a threat to Indonesia because their exports share of natural rubber showed an increasing. This indicates that there is intense competition in the international market. As a country with the largest plantation area in the world, Indonesia should be superior. But this can be an opportunity to be able to compete in the world market so it is important to be managed more deeply so that it can create competitive advantages that can increase competitiveness. This study aims to determine the position of the competitiveness of natural rubber exports for the three countries of ITRC in the international market. The analytical method used is dynamic RCA. The results showed that all products of natural rubber coded HS 400110, 400121, 400122, 400129 and 400130 were experiencing a decline in growth in the export share of the three countries of ITRC : Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia, but the market demand conditions for these products were declining in that time period.

From an economic and strategic perspective, the Strait of Malacca is one of the most important shipping lanes in the world. It has always been a strategic maritime route that benefitted kingdoms of Tiriwizara, Majapahit, Malakka, Pagan, Hantawaddy and Konbong Kingdoms of Myanmar. Thanks to the long borderland, China and Burma have always engaged in trade and diplomatic relation. Burma, presently called Myanmar, is an important country from the perspective of geo-politics in the region, but never has the situation of 8 million Muslims in this country been worse. Muslims have been living in Myanmar for a long time. The previous Buddhist rulers of the country and the British administration that followed provided rights of citizenship to them without discrimination. In the light of these welcoming circumstances, Muslims were happy to contribute to the nation by joining the army, the police force, government institutions in areas such as health care, education, trade, business, agriculture as well as in politics and as legislators in the parliament of Myanmar. Nevertheless, their unfortunate history began when the military came into power in 1962. All the rights and responsibilities they had enjoyed over the years became restricted. Discrimination policies were applied in every segment of national institutions, thereby threatening their citizenship rights. The discrimination continued to the extent that their racial status as one of the 145 ethnic groups of Myanmar was removed. Consequently, frequent riots, afflictions, and violence against Muslim minorities became the norm, rendering peaceful coexistence between Muslim and Buddhists difficult. The objective of this paper is to research the historical existence and identification of Muslims in Myanmar. Findings of this work will touch upon a theory of peaceful coexistence between Muslims and Buddhists in Myanmar. Keywords Islam, Muslim, identity, rights, discrimination, peace, coexistence.

The principal goal to create natural parks and biological reserves in the world is to promote the conservation of biodiversity. During long time, traditional people established “especial areas” to guarantee natural resources for the future. Others, as kings and rural aristocracy used this areas for practice sports like hunting. The first public parks were created in United States during the XIX century, to preserve the environmental features of the Yellowstone against the human explotation. In this work, I wil discuss conservation of natural areas using the territory and the territorialization concepts and their several meanings: biological/ecological and social. The biodiversity value under principles of a new discipline — Biological Conservation — is showed as contribution. Public policy is discussed at the end of work exploring some reasons of the controversy between government speech and the conservation practice in natural parks and biological reserves.

AbstractFor a long time, since China’s opening to the outside world in the late 1970s, admiration for foreign socioeconomic prosperity and quality of life characterized much of the Chinese society, which contributed to dissatisfaction with the country’s development and government and a large-scale exodus of students and emigrants to foreign countries. More recently, however, overestimating China’s standing and popularity in the world has become a more conspicuous feature of Chinese public opinion and the social backdrop of the country’s overreach in global affairs in the last few years. This essay discusses the effects of these misperceptions about the world, their potential sources, and the outcomes of correcting misperceptions. It concludes that while the world should get China right and not misinterpret China’s intentions and actions, China should also get the world right and have a more balanced understanding of its relationship with the world.

AbstractCOVID-19 has crippled the world’s healthcare systems, setting back the economy and taking the lives of several people. Although potential vaccines are being tested and supplied around the world, it will take a long time to reach every human being, more so with new variants of the virus emerging, enforcing a lockdown-like situation on parts of the world. Thus, there is a dire need for early and accurate detection of COVID-19 to prevent the spread of the disease, even more. The current gold-standard RT-PCR test is only 71% sensitive and is a laborious test to perform, leading to the incapability of conducting the population-wide screening. To this end, in this paper, we propose an automated COVID-19 detection system that uses CT-scan images of the lungs for classifying the same into COVID and Non-COVID cases. The proposed method applies an ensemble strategy that generates fuzzy ranks of the base classification models using the Gompertz function and fuses the decision scores of the base models adaptively to make the final predictions on the test cases. Three transfer learning-based convolutional neural network models are used, namely VGG-11, Wide ResNet-50-2, and Inception v3, to generate the decision scores to be fused by the proposed ensemble model. The framework has been evaluated on two publicly available chest CT scan datasets achieving state-of-the-art performance, justifying the reliability of the model.
