The article deals with the peculiarities of self-efficacy of freshmen students. The structure and possibilities of development of separate components of self-efficacy in educational-professional activity are analyzed. The results of empirical research are described and and assumptions made about inter- and intra-subjective conditions for the inclusion of self-efficacy in value-motivational regulatory processes that promote the professionalization of students. According to the results of the study, first-year students are generally determined by a rather high level of self-efficacy, which is an indicator of psychological readiness for profession. The formation of professional self-efficacy is largely influenced by the conditions of the social environment and educational and professional activities. Self-efficacy is based on value experience and internal standards of activity, defines the direction and motivation of a person. In this regard, self-efficacy is one of the most important factors for the successful professionalization of students.

The article deals with the problem of the formation of self-efficacy of students of professions associated with the risk of decision-making. Self-efficacy implies the ability of a person to cope with specific and complex situations, including emergencies, and to influence the effectiveness of activities and functioning [1]. Therefore, it was decided to take an increase in the level of professional self-efficacy as the basis for solving the problems of the negative impact of the "human factor" on professional activity in conditions of a high level of risk. High self-efficacy it allows not only to take up decisions and cope with complex professional tasks, but also with various stressful situations [16], as well as to avoid risks to their own health, which is of particular importance for employees of professions associated with the risk of.

The article deals with the problem of socio-psychological adaptation of freshmen students to training activities using fitness equipment. It was clarified that the concept of social and psychological adaptation can be considered as a process of adaptation of freshmen students to the new conditions of teaching and training activities in  the institution of higher pedagogical education, entering the cultural and educational environment, mastering its norms, developing a model of behavior and training activities. It is determined that socio-psychological adaptation of first-year students at the initial stages of educational activity caused by a number of regular features and is characterized by a large volume of material, high level of self-dependence and responsibility. The greatest difficulties are in changing the social position of first-year students during the transition from the school community, methods and means of training activities, relationships and stereotypes of their behavior. It is proved that one of the most effective organizational mechanisms for ensuring successful adaptation of students for training activities using fitness means is social and psychological adaptation, which unites the physical education teachers’ efforts. The main forms of training activities should be trainings, round tables, attracting students to active training and competitive activities while studying at a higher educational institution.

The implementation of acceleration program for the gifted students was problematic and has been dismissed by Indonesian Government in 2014. 240 first year students from three high schools in Jakarta participated in this study. The study focused on the social environment that is projected in accelerated and regular classrooms. Type of Classrooms is associated with Accelerated learning. Path analysis model was used to develop the relationships between latent and manifest variables. This study employed PLSPATH program to analyse the data. The results showed accelerated learning is positively related to Self-Regulated Learning in Biology but there is only a very weak relation in Mathematics. Accelerated learning positively and marginally related to Self-Efficacy in Biology, but negatively and marginally related to Mathematics Self-Efficacy. There is a significant relationship between Accelerated learning and Achievement in both Mathematics and Biology.

Presentation of research scientists towards the study of the development potential of the individual and her professional identity; provide a description of the various types of self-determination, justifies the common and what distinguishes professional and personal identity. The authors describe a complex of research and assessment of the level of professional orientation of students and undergraduates of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics. The authors presented the author's vision of 3 blocks of psychotechnologies: teaching, developing and information and communication, the use of which in the educational process of the University, will increase the level of their professional orientation and identity. The empirical part shows the selection, methods and procedure of the process of changing professional orientation and identity, as well as the procedure for processing the data obtained. The article also presents the results of a psychodiagnostic study of professional self-determination and professional identity in students of Economics, direction, students of technical orientation in the field of IT technologies, students of psychology: after conducting classes using various psychotechnologies-the results in the group of IT students have not changed much, most students have a pronounced status of "achieved professional identity"; most psychology students have become more understanding of their professional activities-they are characterized by the status of "moratorium"; the vast majority of Economics students have shown a formed professional identity and a high level of professional readiness.

Introduction. The paper focuses on the study on satisfaction of fi rst-year students of the Pedagogical University with the educational and professional activities. The study aims to examine the satisfaction of first-year students with the educational and professional activities carried out by the Volgograd State Social and Pedagogical University (VSSPU). Materials and methods. The method of analytical benchmarking was applied to identify a lack of studies on the satisfaction of first-year students of the Pedagogical University with the educational and professional activities during the pandemic. The questionnaire “Satisfaction with educational activities” by L. V. Mishchenko was employed. The results of the study. The paper presents the results of empirical research. The findings indicate the average values of first-year students’ satisfaction on the following scales “satisfaction with the teaching and learning process”, “satisfaction with the educational process”, “satisfaction with the chosen profession”, “satisfaction with relationships with classmates”, “satisfaction with interaction with teachers”, “satisfaction with life, leisure, budget, health” and the scale “Overall satisfaction”. Conclusion. The study demonstrates that the educational and professional activity of first-year students of the Faculty of Social and Correctional Pedagogy of VSSPU during the pandemic is characterized by a positive emotional and evaluative attitude. In the context of a mixed format of education during the pandemic, the VSSPU was able to ensure the high quality of the teaching and learning process and the psychological well-being of its participants. Современное состояние и развитие уголовно-исполнительной системы Российской Федерации диктует необходимость овладения будущими специалистами комплексом определенных знаний, умений и навыков, позволяющих им эффективно решать служебные задачи. Одним из путей повышения профессионального уровня специалистов является формирование и развитие профессиональной культуры. Проведенный в статье анализ понятия «профессиональная культура» позволяет констатировать сложность его содержания, что связано с особенностями профессиональной деятельности сотрудников УИС, многообразием решаемых задач. Автором подробно исследуется процесс формирования профессиональной культуры в вузах ФСИН России, рассматриваются особенности работы в данном направлении профессорско-преподавательского состава, командиров строевых подразделений, сотрудников отделов по работе с личным составом, приводятся возникающие при этом проблемы и предлагаются возможные пути решения. Отмечается, что успешность формирования профессиональной культуры курсантов зависит от их профессионализма, дисциплинированности, инициативности, настойчивости и личного примера сотрудников. В заключение подчеркивается, что высокий уровень профессиональной культуры сотрудника УИС является условием успешной служебной деятельности и целью дальнейшего профессионального самосовершенствования.The current state and development of the criminal Executive system of the Russian Federation dictates the need for future specialists to master a set of certain knowledge, skills and abilities that allow them to solve official tasks effectively. One of the ways to improve the professional level of specialists is the formation and development of professional culture. The analysis of the concept of «professional culture» in the article allows us to state the complexity of its content, which is associated with the peculiarities of professional activity of employees of the UIS, the variety of tasks to be solved. The author studies in detail the process of formation of professional culture in the universities of the Federal penitentiary service of Russia, examines the features of work in this direction of the teaching staff, commanders of combat units, employees of departments for work with personnel, presents the problems arising in this case and suggests possible solutions. It is noted that the success of the formation of professional culture of cadets depends on their professionalism, discipline, initiative, perseverance and personal example. In conclusion, it is emphasized that the high level of professional culture of the employee is a condition of successful performance and the purpose of further professional self-improvement.

According to the program Digital Economy of the Russian Federation adopted in 2017, the share of the population with digital skills should be 40%. Moreover, these skills include not only user skills, but also specific ones related to a specific professional activity. In this regard, higher educational institutions are faced with the task of training personnel who will be able to work effectively in the era of digital development of the economy, namely, to be able to work with end-to-end digital technologies. In order to cope with this task successfully, it is necessary to change the main professional educational programs and include work programs of disciplines in which end-to-end digital technologies become the object and / or means of study. This paper analyzes the problem of the readiness of prospective speech therapists majoring in 44.03.03 special (defectological) education to use end-to-end digital technologies in their professional activities. The authors characterize the course End-to-end digital technologies, which appeared in the 2021/2022 academic year at Samara State University of Social Sciences and Education among first-year students of the Faculty of Psychology and Special Education. Based on the results of the course approbation, the authors formulate conclusions about the advisability of supplementing the training of students with a workshop that allows them to master several applied software products based on end-to-end digital technologies at an in-depth level.

The purpose of the research is to define the proficiency state of the motivation- and value-related components of the professional competence acquired by the specialists in the field of processing and food productions (based on the results of the experiment which involved the first-year students specialised in 181 "Food technologies"). To determine the proficiency of level of the motivation- and value-related components of the professional competence to be acquired by the future specialists in the field of processing and food productions we used the methodologies adapted to our research: the testing of person’s value-related reference points and the testing of person’s capacity for self-discovery. The experiment was aimed at revealing and comparing future specialists’ motivation to study, basic reasons for educational activity, grounds for choosing a profession, and value-related orientations of the students constituting experimental and control (general) groups. The experiment involved the students specialised in 181 "Food technologies" in Kharkiv State University for Food Technologies and Trade, Kharkiv Petro Vasylenko National Technical University of Agriculture and Kharkiv Cooperative Trade and Economic College. The experiment consisted of two stages. At the first stage, 237 future specialists participated in the continuous questioning specially elaborated by the author. On the second stage, the first-year (two groups) and the second-year students (two groups) were tested according to the methodology "Motivation for study": test 1 "Studying the reasons of students’ educational activity”, test 2 "The necessities to develop students’ self-evaluation". The future specialists in the field of processing and food production acquired the professional competencies during the pedagogical events facilitating the development of stable motivation for their professional activity. The experiment allowed us to affirm that the professional competence demonstrated by the future specialists in the field of processing and food productions consists of some components, the motivation- and value-related component being one of them. On the whole, the results of the questioning confirmed the insufficient (reproductive) proficiency level which the future specialists of processing and food production demonstrated within the professional competence. The results of the first stage of the experiment (continuous questioning) testify that it is important for most students rather to get an appraisal than acquire knowledge. Most students failed to give any reasons for self-perfection or systematic professional development.

The paper discusses the problem of studying the relations of substantive characteristics of the value-semantic component of students’ psychological readiness for professional activity at various stages of studying at the Universityand presents the results of a longitudinal study of this issue. The results of the study indicated that the content characteristics (objective, process, result, overall rate of life-meaning orientations) are the basis of the value-motivational component of students’ psychological readiness for professional activity at various stages of studying at the University. According to the results of the study the axiological component of students’ psychological readiness of for professional activity into which first-year students includes orientation to the professional knowledge, skills. Students have 2 years of training to increase the value of the chosen profession, the desire to become a professional. In the 3rd year students’ valuemotivational component is represented in the experience of the crisis of professional development. In their 4th year of study, students have changing views about their professional future, orientation to future professional development.
