The smooth supply of broken stone will greatly affect and even determine the speed and accuracy of the completion of a project. The availability of large stones or blondos as raw material to produce broken stones must be guaranteed availability, for this reason it is very important to have a quarry or land containing blondos to maintain the continuity of raw material supply for the stone crusher business. Purworejo Regency has potential in terms of sand and stone mining. Most of the land consists of rock with a percentage of approximately 60% of the total area of Purworejo Regency. The type of raw material that is owned is andesite with a deposit of mining rock which can be exploited for mining for more than 20 years. Because of that potential, it is very important for PT. X to conduct a strategy analysis before constructing a new stone crusher unit. An appropriate business development strategy is needed. The purpose of this research is to create a business development strategy of PT.X by using the SWOT and TOPSIS methods. Based on the alternatives of the SWOT matrix obtained 8 strategies to develop the company and selected strategic priorities with TOPSIS found that market opportunities are very wide open and immediately expand the marketing network with a maximum value of 1.

The purpose of this study was to identify internal and external factors of SMEs of Junggo Village Goat, to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats faced by Junggo Goat Village SMEs, to formulate a business development strategy that should be done of  SMEs of Goat Village Junggo . This research uses participatory action research (PAR) approach to data collection and processing. The data obtained in the form of primary data and secondary data. Based on the results of SWOT matrix analysis, there are several alternative strategies such as increasing the number of permanent customers, increasing sales capacity, increasing production capacity, promoting, performing financial and administration recording system, conducting market research and development, providing quality goats, increasing synergism and partnership, provide supplementary food and preventive medicine and conduct comparative studies.

The purpose of this research is to evaluate, analyze the potential and existing of PT. XYZ. From this research Management, PT. XYZ is expected to be able to choose the proper strategic management action. This research used a descriptive qualitative method. For Business Development Strategy analysis, this study used EFE and IFE matrix, IE matrix, SWOT matrix and QSPM. The study found that PT. XYZ was in a strong position in making use of the power possessed and able to overcome the existing weaknesses the total IFE was 3.57 whose value was classified as exploiting the existing opportunity level. Meanwhile, the value of EFE coping the threat was 3,25.  IE matrix showed that PT XYZ has used growth and build strategies whose alternative strategies can be used to develop its business.

Gula tebu menjadi isu sentral nasional saat ini. Hal ini disebabkan karena tingginya permintaan, namun penawaran terbatas. Gula aren yang merupakan hasil penyadapan dari pohon aren menjadi alternatif untuk memenuhi tingginya permintaan gula tebu. Desa Wangunsari merupakan daerah penghasil gula aren, namun penyadap memiliki berbagai permasalahan dalam pengembangan usaha sehingga berimplikasi terhadap rendahnya tingkat kesejahteraan penyadap. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengetahui faktor-faktor yang menghambat dalam pengembangan usaha, dan merumuskan strategi pengembangan usaha penyadapan pohon aren di Desa Wangunsari. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi dan wawancara dengan metode penarikan sampel menggunakan judgement sampling dan teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis SWOT. Berdasarkan hasil analisis bahwa faktor-faktor yang menghambat usaha penyadapan pohon aren di Desa Wangunsari yakni kemasan, produksi, standarisasi produk, manajemen usaha, pendidikan penyadap, tempat produksi, teknologi pengolahan, saluran penjualan, bahan bakar, modal, bencana alam, infrastruktur, angkutan umum, aksebilitas menuju pasar, persaingan usaha, pendatang baru, daya tawar pembeli dan pemasok serta produk subtitusi. Sedangkan strategi pengembangan usaha meliputi perbaikan kualitas, kemasan, standarisasi dan pengembangan produk, tempat produksi, saluran penjualan, manajemen usaha, tekonologi pengolahan, optimalisasi bahan baku, perluasan pangsa pasar, peningkatan promosi, penambahan asset, efisiensi produksi, kerjasama dengan mitra, peninjauan harga jual, dan pembenahan sumberdaya perusahaan.   Sugar cane becomes the current national central issue. This is caused by high demand but the supply is limited. Palm sugar that is the result of tapping of palm trees into an alternative to meet the high demand for sugar cane. Wangunsari village is a sugar palm producing area, but tappers have various problems in business development so that it implies the low level of welfare tappers. This study aims to analyze and determine the factors that hinder business development, and formulate strategies for the development of palm tree tapping business in Wangunsari Village. Data collection techniques in this study using observation techniques and interviews with sampling methods using judgment sampling and data analysis techniques using SWOT analysis.            Based on the analysis, the factors that hinder the palm tree tapping business in Wangunsari Village are packaging, production, product standardization, business management, education of tappers, production site, processing technology, sales channel, fuel, capital, natural disaster, infrastructure, general, accessibility to markets, business competition, new entrants, bargaining power of buyers and suppliers and substitution products. While the business development strategy includes quality improvement, packaging, standardization and product development, production place, sales channel, business management, processing technology, raw material optimization, market share expansion, promotion promotion, asset addition, production efficiency, cooperation with partners, selling, and improving the company's resources

In Lampung, many businesses produce mushrooms made from empty fruit bunch (EFB) palm oil, this has a positive impact on companies and communities around the company. The objective of the research is to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the EFB standard mushroom business and the analysis of its development strategy in Lampung Province. The result of the research shows that (1) the development of mushroom industry made from EFB in Lampung Province has the strength of raw material available in large quantities and easily obtained, while the weakness is mushroom is a product that is easily damaged and untreated mushroom waste; (2) the odds are that the need for food mushrooms is still high and tends to increase, while the threat is increasing production and transportation costs and uncontrolled extreme weather; and (3) the main priority strategy for the large business unit is the development of new mushroom processing business and the modernization of mushroom making technology, while for the small and beginner business unit is to encourage business development to reach economies of scale.

ABSTRACTBusiness Development Strategy Certified Rice Seed On Subak Guama,Marga District, Tabanan RegencyThe increasing rate of population growth led to increased demand for food. Inorder to achieve food security, the use of certified seeds is one of the factors thatinfluence the improvement of yield and quality of production. Attempt to capturethese opportunities, Subak Guama need to make strategic business development ofcertified rice seed. The purpose of research is to investigate alternative strategiesand priorities appropriate strategies run by Subak Guama in the development ofcertified rice seed business.The research location was at Subak Guama. Respondents were selectedpurposively regarding their expertise and knowledge of the research. Primarydata were collected focus group discussions, surveys, and in-depth interviews.Secondary data were collected from publications. Formulation of alternativestrategies and priority strategies using SWOT matrix analysis and analysisQSPM.The results show alternative strategies of business development certifiedrice seed include: 1) expand market share in order to meet the potential needs ofseeds, 2) the formation of youth groups farmer, 3) improving the quality of humanresources, 4) empowerment of farmers through the capital strengthening farming5) integrated pest and disease control, and 6) optimization of the certified riceseed business. The result also shows that the priority strategy selected is capitalstrengthening farming.In supporting the development of business certified rice seed, members of SubakGuama is expected to strengthen the capital to apply for credit farming throughfinancial institutions/banks so as to increase production and develop productsseed varieties vary, increase access to a wider market so as to maintain its marketposition has been achieved, as well as more effective cooperation betweenfarmers with KUAT Subak Guama.Keywords: SWOT, QSPM, Rice Seed, Subak

<em>The problem faced by micro business tempe customer of micro financial institution (LKM) of Sidoarjo Regency so that can improve competitiveness of Micro Business of Tempe for business sustainability is loan interest rate and unstable of soybean price as main raw material of tempe product. The purpose of this study is to examine and determine alternative micro business tempe competitiveness strategy that has obtained financing from MFIs so as to create sustainability of business in the era of MEA competition amid widespread imports of soybeans. The method of research used mix method (mixed method) object of this research is micro entrepreneur of tempe product in village area sepande subdistrict of Sidoarjo district which is not member of cooperative and have become customer of Micro Finance Institution amount 10 person. The analysis method used in this research is SWOT Analysis, SWOT matrix then continued with QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix). The result of the research shows that the right competitiveness strategy is product development strategy by developing the type and variant of tempe product, especially the change of form and packaging which is more interesting and hygienic so that it can give the added value of the product and increase the selling price, which in turn will increase the business profit and can overcome the weaknesses in the burden of interest costs on loans provided by microfinance institutions.</em>

Textile product industry has an important role in the economy Tasikmalaya City, because contributing 42,1%  to manufacturing industry. Manufacturing industry contributing 14.6%  to the GRDP Tasikmalaya City. The problem faced by the industry of textile products is the increase in raw material prices, rising labor costs, the entry of lower-priced imported products, intense competition with similar companies and reduced orders from buyers. In an effort to maintain the continuity of their  business, it is necessary to develop a strategy of business development. The purpose of this study was to analyze the internal and external conditions, the formulation of strategic alternatives, prioritization and selection of strategic business development strategy PT PS. Results Internal Factor Evaluation (2.692) and External Factor Evaluation (2.334) puts the company's position in Cells V (companies should be preserved and maintained through market penetration strategies and product development. Methods of SWOT result formulation of strategies: (1) take advantage of competition among  suppliers to obtain raw materials at the lowest offer price, (2) Increasing production by expanding the partnership,  (3) promotion, (4) expand the marketing area, (5) maintain the quality of raw material, (6) improve product quality, (7) makes dyeing, (8) machine maintenance and machine engineering (9) labor skills training. Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) puts the promotion strategy as a priority. Implications of managerial are: (1) Aspects of production need to be supported by increased economies of scale by improving partnerships with other entrepreneurs, supplier selection, take advantage of the effects of learning and experience, (2) Aspects of HR need to increase the skills of workers, (3) Financial Aspects through cash payments from buyers and increased allocation of marketing costs, (4) marketing aspect through targeting the wholesale level market, expand marketing and mainte-nance of customer loyalty and (5) Aspects of technology through the restructuring of the machine.

Identification of internal and external factors was conducted to determine the factors that influence the business development of PT. Sumber Pangan Jaya by using analytical tools IFE matrix (Internal Factor Evaluation Matrix) and EFE matrix (External Factor Evaluation Matrix). Processing data using IFE matrix produced the factors that become a major strength in the business development of PT. Sumber Pangan Jaya, the variety of products offered with a total score of 0.350, and the factor that becomes weakness is the consumers not entirely from upper class society with a total score of 0.093. EFE matrix processing produce factors that are major opportunities in business development PT. Sumber Pangan Jaya, namely the continuity of raw materials from supplier with a total score of 0.300, and a factor that is the main threat, the rise in raw material prices with a total score of 0.106. IE matrix processing results illustrate the position PT. Sumber Pangan Jaya are in the division IV, which means a strategy aimed at Growth and Build. The result of the SWOT matrix obtained 9 alternative strategies developed by the company's position on the matrix IE, in this case the strategy might be implemented is intensive strategy (market penetration, market development, and product development) and integration strategy (forward integration, horizontal integration and backward integration). Based on the results of data processing with the matrix QSPM, there are nine strategic priorities that can be executed by PT. Sumber Pangan Jaya.

Community-based tourism is one type of tourism that involves community participation to achieve the goal of sustainable tourism development. The purpose of this study is to determine the tourism potential to be managed by the community based on people's perceptions of the existing tourism potential, as well as identifying people's perceptions of national, regional, and also traditional policies in tourism. This research was divided into several data collection, internal-external factor analysis, data analysis and development strategy analysis using the SWOT matrix. The conclusions of this study are (1) Natural resources in Labuan Bajo which can be used as tourist attractions that have not been managed and developed properly. Those are Ara Mountain, Ina Mountain, Namong Island, Kelaki Island, Kima Island, Komodo, wild horses and buffalo, savannah, Rangka Cave, Gosong, Pasir Timbul, Mangrove and several underwater object such as Manta and coral reefs. (2) Based on a quantitative strategy, the development strategy that is suitable to be carried out in Labuan Bajo is the S-O Strategy which is carried out by utilizing the strength needed to achieve the opportunities that exist. (3) Based on a qualitative strategy, a suitable strategy to be carried out in Labuan Bajo is related to the improvement of public facilities, partnerships with universities, improvement of the people's economy, and the improvement of regional and group economies. Kabupaten Buton Selatan merupakan kabupaten pemekaran dari Kabupaten Buton bagianselatan. Salah satu potensi perikanan yang berkembang di Kabupaten Buton Selatan adalah rumputlaut. Rumput laut merupakan salah satu jenis komoditas unggulan budi daya perairan dengan nilaiekonomi pasar yang kompetitif baik di pasaran dalam negeri maupun ekspor. Penelitian ini bertujuanuntuk merumuskan strategi pengembangan usaha budidaya rumput laut yang belum berkembangsecara optimal. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara terhadap pelaku usaha yang terlibatserta Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan Kabupaten Buton Selatan. Data hasil wawancara dilengkapi hasilobservasi dan dokumentasi, selanjutnya diolah dan disajikan secara deskriptif. Selanjutnya faktorfaktorutama lingkungan internal dan eksternal diidentifikasi dengan menggunakan matriks IFE danEFE. Matriks IFE dan EFE menghasilkan 3 alternatif strategi yang dapat direkomendasikan kepadapemerintah daerah Kabupaten Buton Selatan. Tahapan terakhir adalah penentuan prioritas strategidengan menggunakan alat analisis QSPM. Prioritas strategi yang direkomendasikan untuk diterapkanpada budidaya rumput laut di Kabupaten Buton Selatan adalah memanfaatkan kualitas sumberdaya airdengan memanfaatkan peluang pasar.Title: Business Development Strategy of Seaweed in South Buton RegencyRegency of South Buton is a new regency located in south part of Buton Regency. One of thepotential developing fisheries in South Buton Regency is seaweed. Seaweed is well known as one of theleading aquaculture commodity which have a competitive markets value both in domestic and export.This study aims to formulate the business development strategy of seaweed cultivation that has not beenoptimally developed. Data were collected by interviewing involved business actors and officer of SouthButon Marine and Fisheries Agency. Observation and documentation are used as complements for theanalysis. In general data were analysed descriptively. The major factors of the internal and externalenvironment to develop the strategy are identified by the IFE and EFE matrices. Furthermore thosematrices are used to produces 3 alternatives strategy as recommendation for local government. In orderto prioritizing the strategy, QSPM analysis tool was used. Priority strategy recommended in South ButonRegency is to utilize the quality of water resources by exploiting market opportunities.
