This study aims to describe the pattern of relationships between several factors supporting interest (interest) in science subjects. Students get an Exercise Program to improve scientific literacy. This training program aims to improve students' scientific literacy skills. The training program is carried out after the teachers receive the training program. The study of students' interest in science was revealed by conducting a survey related to several factors supporting interest in science. Several factors in the study of supporting scientific interests include the role of teachers, parental support, school roles, peer support, physics, chemistry and biology materials. Research participants were taken using random sampling technique, totaling 39 students. The developed scientific literacy assistance program seeks to improve the quality of learning outcomes. The success of the scientific literacy training program is related to students' scientific interest. The results showed that the multiple linear regression model provides a descriptive numerical description of the empirical relationship between the value of interest in science and its supporting components. Likewise, interest has a role in learning achievement.

Burhān al-Dīn al-Zarnūjī in his treatise Ta'līm al-Muta'allim Ṭorīq al-Ta'allum proposed that the academic achievement has six things dependency: ingenious acumen, fervent desire, patience, sufficent sustenance, guidance of a teacher, and length of time. In other side, Paul Stoltz in his book Adversity Quotient: Turning Obstacles Into Opportunities coined adversity quotient term as a score that measures the ability of a person to deal with adversities in his or her life. Hence, adversity quotient is commonly known as the science of patience. Based on this perspective, we was empirically tested students scientific literacy through correlational research. In particular, first adversity quotient was measured with Adversity Response Profile (ARP) includes four dimensions that are characterized as control, ownership, reach, and endurance. Second, scientific literacy was tested with Scientific Literacy Test (SLT) that focused on three competencies. Third, we used Pearson r to elaborate correlation of scientific literacy with adversity quotient. The participants of the study were 50 students in Kabupaten Kudus choosen by purposive sampling technique. The findings suggest that it is important to facilitate students’ adversity quotient to guide them on achieving scientific literacy.

Objective: The primary aim of the present article was to identify palliative care patient populations who are willing to participate in and able to complete a group exercise/physical training program designed specifically for the individual patient.Method: We conducted a prospective phase II intervention study examining the willingness and ability of palliative care cancer patients to participate in a group exercise physical training program. Patients who were diagnosed with incurable cancer and had a life expectancy of less than 1 year at two outpatient clinics were invited to participate in an exercise program in the hospitals. The groups met twice a week over a 6-week period. Results: One hundred one consecutive patients were asked for inclusion. Sixty-three patients agreed to participate. Sixteen (25%) of the 63 patients dropped out after consent was given, but before the program started due to medical problems, social reasons, or death. Thus, 47 patients started the exercise program. Thirteen patients withdrew during the program due to sudden death, medical problems, or social reasons. The most frequent reasons for withdrawal were increased pain or other symptoms. Thirty-four patients completed the exercise program.Significance of results: A high proportion of incurable cancer patients were willing to participate (63%) in a structured exercise program. The attrition rate was high, but despite being severely ill, 54% of the patients completed the exercise period. This shows that a physical exercise program tailored to the individual patient is feasible in this population.

Conventional banks are vulnerable to non-performing loans, because the credit is the main source income of a bank. Credit risk may still occur, even though the bank's management has made efforts based credit rating 5C. The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence the variable CAR, LAR, NIM, and ROE against Non-Performing Loans (NPL) in the banking companies listed on BEI. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling with criteria: (1) a conventional commercial bank listed on the BEI 2009-2013 period, (2) the bank that issued the annual financial statements in a row in the period from 2009 to 2013, and (3) bank which has a data completeness NPL, CAR, LAR, NIM, and ROE in the period 2009-2013. Data obtained from the annual report of each bank in 2009-2013. There are a total sample of 29 banks. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing using t-statistic to test the partial regression coefficient and F-statistic to test the effect simultaneously with a significance level of 0.05. Before being tested by multiple linear regression, first performed classical assumption of normality test data. The results showed that there were no deviations from the classical assumption test. This indicates that the available data is normal or eligible to be used as a multiple linear regression model. From the analysis, CAR and ROE have significant negative effect on the NPL and LAR have not significant negative effect on the NPL, while variable NIM have significant positive effect on the NPL.

Practicing a piano is important for a pianist. A good training program certainly needs to be designed for every pianist. Long time and self-discipline as the basis for training, is actually not enough to get maximum results. Complaints such as saturation, boredom, finger injury, even frustration are always a cliché problem that often occurs. Creating a training program that is right on target and efficient is very necessary to be designed, so that training can be fun, stimulate and of course get a fast and significant development. Then what kind of exercise program should the pianist know in order to get maximum results? The following will explain some of the suggestions and trick that can help a pianist, so he can make the best use of training time.

Risk management is a good potential events that can be predicted and unpredicted negative impact on income and capital of the Bank. Financial ratios are an alternative to test whether financial ratios useful for making predictions on future profitability. CAR, NPL and LDR is a measure of the ability to predict profitability. Sampling technique used is purposive sampling with criteria Conventional Commercial Bank do / unlock (Dual Banking System) Islamic Banks serving the financial statements of the period 2012 to 2015. The data obtained by the publication of the FSA Directory. Obtained a total sample of 16 with the division 8 8 Conventional Commercial Bank and Commercial Bank Syariah. The independent variables in this study is the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non performace loans (NPLs) and loan to deposit ratio (LDR) while Return on Assets (ROA) as the dependent variable. Methods of data collection in this study is documentation and literature. During the period show that the study data were normally distributed. Based on the test multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity test and autocorrelation test found no deviation from the classical assumption, it indicates that the available data are qualified to use a multiple linear regression model. The comparison of this study showed that the CAR and NPL variable Conventional Commercial Bank affect the ROA, LDR whereas no effect. In contrast to the conventional, all variables Islamic Banks are CAR, LDR and NPL effect on ROA.

Palavras-chave: Ensino de Física; Iniciação à docência; Estratégias didáticas   Physics teaching initiation and the students´ questions in basic education - a report   Abstract: Extension activities that aim to provide science education are increasingly present in educational discussions, whether as a way of thinking about new approaches for curricular contents or new methodological biases and evaluation. This paper presents and discusses the activity "Pill of science: the knowledge is in the air!" developed under the Institutional Program of Initiation to Teaching Scholarship (PIBID/CAPES), at a public school in Uberaba, Brazil, in partnership with the PIBID-Physics-UFTM group, with an emphasis on their contributions to the training of those involved, undergraduates in Physics. The objective of the activity developed was to promote a dynamic that would allow, on the one hand, to listen to the concerns and questions of Basic Education students in the face of their doubts regarding scientific knowledge and, on the other hand, to provide new experiences in the classroom by teachers in training. To this end, Basic Education students deposited questions (here called "pills") about topics related to the Natural Sciences in a box of doubts, for later socialization in the classroom with the undergraduates in Physics. We show that listening and discussing students' perceptions of their view of scientific knowledge is a promising way to awaken their interest in science, being the first steps towards scientific literacy, in addition to being a strategy to sensitize future teachers to consider these approaches in their future pedagogical practices. Several previous studies have shown that students have difficulty integrating ethnoscience into science learning. Students are more likely to be introduced to the basic concepts of ethnoscience without involving how to integrate ethnoscience into science learning. The impact is that students’ scientific literacy is low. This is what underlies researchers to apply the Local Wisdom Integrated Science (LWIS) learning model by using local Madurese content to train students’ scientific literacy. The aim of this study was to evaluate differences in student scientific literacy after implementing the LWIS learning model in ethnoscience learning with local Madurese content. The method used was pre-experimental study with one group pretest-posttest design. When the study was carried out in the even semester of the 2019/2020 academic year by taking 22 students via purposive sampling technique as a sample of all students in class 6A of science education, Trunojoyo University, Madura. Analysis of data using descriptive statistics and paired sample t test. The results showed that there were different in the scientific literacy of the students using the LWIS learning model before and after studying ethnoscience with local Madurese material. The entire LWIS syntax helps train students' scientific literacy by including self-awareness of the importance of local Madurese content as a learning context. Ethnoscience can be integrated into science learning through the STEAM approach. The contribution of STEAM to the LWIS learning model and self-awareness is very significant in developing ethnoscience learning for local Madurese content from elementary, middle, and tertiary level.
