Childhood is a golden period to maximize personality formation. In the potential for social development of children's characters, the environment is very decisive in its formation, including what children read. The lack of social character possessed by children today presents its own challenges for parents. Researchers examine the story book Stilts Loans and Proud published by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). This study is a qualitative descriptive study with the type of library research. This research results that the reading books published by the KPK contain integrity values, including; value of care and responsibility.

Tulisan ini menjelaskan konsep khalifah fil’ardi sebagai wakil Tuhan dalam melestarikan alam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menanamkan kesadaran energi yang berasal dari sumber daya alam. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan (Library Research) dan penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan analisis dan data yang penulis teliti, penulis menyimpulkan bahwa pengetahuan yang komprehensif tentang kesadaran energi menjadi dasar mengenai khalifah fil’ardi. Mewujudkan kesadaran energi di tengah masyarakat menjadi konsep termutakhir dari “khalifah fil ‘ardi” This paper describes the concept of khalifah fil’ardi as representatives of God in conserving nature. This study aims to instill awareness of energy derived from natural resources. This type of research is the research library (Library Research) and this research is a qualitative descriptive study. Based on the analysis and the data that I researched, the author concludes that a comprehensive knowledge about energy awareness is the basis of the khalifah fil’ardi. Realizing energy awareness in society becomes the latest concept of khalifah fil’ardi.

This study discusses the decision of French tourists on their planned visit to Bali in the new normal era in 2021. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data was obtained by means of online interviews and questions and answers via email to 35 potential tourists. Based on the results of research that has been done, it was found that two decisions of French tourists regarding their vacation plans to Bali, namely: (1) Cancellation of tour trips with the consideration of (a) changes in tourist budgets and financial plans, (b) health reasons for tourists, (c) difficulty in managing time, and (d) the uncertainty of the global situation. (2) Delay or reschedule Tour trips. The factors that influence tourists to continue their travel agenda to Bali with a note of rescheduling, namely: (a) Advances that have been paid to travel agents, (b) the need for post-lockdown holidays during 2020, and ( c) vaccination as an effort to protect the tourists from Covid-19. The hope is that the exposure of the research results can be a reference for researchers, tourism service business actors, and tourists to work together to implement health protocols in all tourism activities for a better Indonesian tourism. Daily Newspaper “Bengkulu Express” is the largest daily newspaper in the province of Bengkulu. In this research the newspaper “Bengkulu Ekspress” is analyzed by seeing Islamic Journalistic values consisting of 1) A Journalist must be truthful, 2) Thoughtful and full of good advice, 3)Tabyyun, 4) Not insulting, mocking, and ridiculing, 5) Avoid Suuzhan. The result of this qualitative descriptive study with  type of research library research shows 58 news is applying Islamic Journalistic values; 53 news is about politic and 5 news is about socio religious. From those politic news edition June, July, and August occurred  9 news were applying the Islamic Journalistic value; A Journalist must be truthful, 19 news were applying the value; Thoughtful and full of good advice, 8 news were about value; Tabyyun, 4 news were adjusting the value; Not insulting, mocking, and ridiculing, also 13 news were about value; Avoid Suuzhan. The last 5 news about socio religious edition June; 4 news were found the value; Thoughtful and full of good advice, and 1 news was about the value; Not insulting, mocking, and ridiculing.

This study aims to determine the practice of product contracts and a review of Islamic law on gold savings products in Sharia pawnshops. The research method used a field research approach (filed reaserch) which was qualitative descriptive, and data collection was obtained through observation, interviews and library research (library reaserch), and the research locus was carried out at the Pinrang Syariah Pegadaian Branch. The research results found that; First, regarding the practice, the Pinrang Branch of the Sharia Pegadaian provides many facilities for customers who want to start investing in gold. In addition, Pegadaian Syariah also offers products in the form of Gold Savings, which is a gold buying and selling service with deposit facilities. As for the process of liquidating (selling) gold, it is carried out in two ways, namely by reselling it if the customer wants cash and printing if the customer wants it in the form of gold bullion. Second, the Gold Savings scheme in Sharia Pawnshops is a problematic contract because one of the contracts has an element of usury, to be precise in the murabahah contract, where scholars have different opinions about its abilities. Jumhur ulama agree on the prohibition (because some scholars from syafi'iyyah and malikiyyah argue that gold is included as ṡaman (price, means of payment, money) which cannot be exchanged in installments, because it causes usury and must be done in cash at the time of the contract. Third, DSN MUI and other contemporary scholars consider that the sale and purchase of gold / murabahah gold is permissible both in cash and credit as long as they are not intended as security (price) but sil'ah (goods).

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan ikonitas perempuan dalam novel grafis Embroideries karya Marjane Satrapi dengan menggunakan teori semiotika Charles Sanders Peirce. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik studi pustaka. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara: (1) mengidentifikasi tanda ikon; (2) mengklasifikasi satu per satu tanda ikon yang telah diidentifikasi berdasarkan teori semiotika Peirce; dan (3) menganalisis data yang mengandung ikon imagi, diagramatis, dan metaforis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cerita dalam novel grafis Embroideries secara imagi, diagramatis, dan metaforis menggambarkan ikonitas kehidupan perempuan yang mengalami inferioritas, baik posisinya sebagai gadis, istri, maupun sebagai janda.Kata kunci: ikonitas perempuan, novel grafis, semiotik WOMEN’S ICONITY IN MARJANE SATRAPI’S GRAPHIC NOVEL EMBROIDERIESAbstractThis study aims to describe the icons of women in Marjane Satrapi’s graphic novel Embroideries by using Charles Sanders Peirce’s semiotic theory. This was a qualitative descriptive study. The data were collected by the library research technique. The data were analyzed by: (1) identifying icon signs; (2) classifying icon signs that had been identified one by one based on Peirce’s semiotic theory; and (3) analyzing data containing image, diagram, and metaphor icons. The results show that the story in the graphic novel Embroideries in terms of image, diagram, and metaphor icons describes the iconity of the life of women experiencing inferiority, either as a girl, a wife, or a widow.Keywords: women’s iconity, graphic novel, semiotic

This study aimed to describe the personality of the id, ego and super-ego character in the novel Rembulan Rey Drowning In Your Face Tere Liye work. This study was a qualitative descriptive study and included in this type of library research. The data used in this study is novel Rembulan Drowning In Your Face Tere Liye work. The data collection technique used is the technique of documentation and observation techniques.The results showed that the personality Ray in the novel Rembulan Drowning In Your face has the id that is present in the form of hatred against a dark past, the curiosity over his true identity, as well as the ambition to destroy those he considered duplicity. Ego Ray looked at the rebellion he often did to help the people he loved. Super ego Ray looked at the behavior that always decide things according to his conscience desires

This study aims to explore the leadership style and organizational communication pattern in the Converting Department, PT. IPP, are related. The leadership elements described are at the general manager and manager levels. In addition, organizational communication behaviors occur between the areas of the Converting Department's organization. The research method used is descriptive and qualitative methods. The data used are primary and secondary data collected through observation supported by interviews, library research, and document analysis. Data and information obtained from the employee population of Converting Department, PT. IPP, with as many as 22 informants consisting of the employee from each level of position that considered representing the total population of 356 persons. Leadership style at the Converting Department, PT. IPP, is centered on characteristics of existing leaders, with one individual having an exploitive-authoritative leadership style, two having a benevolent-authoritative leadership style, one has a consultative style, and one has a participative style. The most dominant leadership style is exploitive-authoritative because it is attached to the top leader. The existing leadership style is not quite ideal to face challenges in the future. For internal organizational communication, patterns occur either downward communication, upward, horizontal and cross-channel.

This study aims to describe the Critical Discourse Review of Teun A Van Dijk in the comic Si Juki vs Dompet Blank”. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The method used in this research is the method of data collection and documentation. The data sources in this research are macro structure, super structure, and microstructure which are analyzed directly from the comic Si Juki Vs Dompet Blank. The result of this research is the comic Si Juki Vs Dompet Kososng. From the research results, macro structure, theme; to increase public knowledge about mercury investment. Topics; can start moving to learn to manage finances. Super structure, semantics; In the comic Si Juki Vs Dompet Blank there are two different texts, namely descriptive text, and exposition text. Macro structure; semantics: readers can begin to be moved to learn to manage their finances, stylistics; the choice of words used in the comic Si Juki Vs Dompet Blank is easy to understand because the words used are simple and commonly used in public places, the lexicon; office, boarding, and savings.

This study aims to analyze and study several studies that identify the use of social media in the primary school domain.This research is a qualitative descriptive study with a discourse analysis approach. The data were taken from research with the same theme and then compared various opinions from experts through in-depth literature studies. This research is the result of research by Ayu Kurnia et al (2019, Istikomariah (2016), Muhammad Fajar et al (2020), and Muhammad Irfan et al. (2020). This research was conducted to examine some of these studies then take the positive aspects in the form of L (1).) Formulation and clear research objectives; (2) The data generated uses official and valid literacy; (3) The research method used in detail; (4) Clear stages of implementing the use of social media; (5) Presenting research results using tables or graphs that are implemented easily; (6) The discussion of research results is carried out with expert opinion; (7) The research conclusion must have advantages and disadvantages in the use of social media in elementary schools. From the research results, this review can be used as new and reinforcing further research with the theme of using social media.
