Efektivitas Instagram sebagai Media Promosi Produk Pangan Olahan Perikanan “CLIPSS CHIPS”

Produk pangan yang dihasilkan dari agroindustri berkembang pesat setiap tahunnya. Besarnya permintaan akan makanan dan minuman tersebut membuat pelaku usaha memasarkan produk pangan olahan yang saat ini banyak digemari masyarakat. Industri produk pangan olahan baik dalam skala kecil maupun besar bersaing dalam menciptakan promosi yang dapat meningkatkan minat masyarakat. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi, pelaku usaha mulai mengembangkan penjualannya ke seluruh wilayah Indonesia bahkan mancanegara dengan melakukan pemasaran melalui media sosial, khususnya instagram. Media sosial instagram dapat memberikan kesempatan bagi pelaku usaha untuk berkomunikasi kepada calon konsumen potensial secara langsung karena kegiatan promosi dilakukan tanpa batasan ruang dan waktu. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini merupakan uji korelasi dengan pemilihan responden melalui teknik accidental sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara karakteristik pengguna instagram dengan keterdedahan media sosial. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa keterdedahan media sosial memiliki hubungan dengan efektivitas media promosi.Kata Kunci : Komunikasi pemasaran, promosi, produk pangan olahan======ABSTRACTFood products produced from agro-industries develop rapidly each year. Along with technological developments, businesses have begun to expand their sales to all regions of Indonesia and even abroad by marketing through social media, especially Instagram. Instagram social media can provide opportunities for business people to communicate with potential customers directly because promotional activities are carried out without space and time restrictions. The data analysis technique used in this study is a correlation test with the selection of respondents through the accidental sampling technique. The results showed that there was no relationship between the characteristics of Instagram users and social media exposure. The results also showed that social media expertise has a relationship with the effectiveness of promotional media.Keywords: marketing communication, promotion, processed food product

Instagram is one of the most popular social media for the public. One difference between Instagram and other social media, is that instamam is more likely to be used to find information and share information with users than to interact directly with fellow users. The purpose of this study is to find out and explain the motives and active user satisfaction in using Instagram social media and find out the relationship between the motives and satisfaction of Instagram social media usage. This study uses use and gratification theory which assumes that individuals have certain goals in using media. The method used in this research is quantitative research methods. The data collection tool is the questionnaire has been validated. The research sample was 70 people. The sampling technique is simple random sampling. The statistic test that the researchers used was the Partial Correlation Test (Pearson Product Moment). Data is processed using SPSS version 20. The results of this study indicate users want to get information and knowledge that is happening at the present time. Information satisfaction becomes the most obtained by Instagram social media users. Overall Instagram social media has given satisfaction to users and there is a significant relationship between motives and satisfaction.

This study aims to determine how the influence of the Electronic Word of Mouth (eWOM) on social media YouTube on Purchase Intention on Samsung smartphones in Bandung with the presence of a mediator from Brand Attitude. The research method used is a quantitative method with descriptive research objectives, the type of research is causal, the technique used in this study is non-probability sampling, data collection methods with cross sectional. In this study, the population used in this study were smartphone users in Bandung. The population in this study were smartphone users in Bandung who used social media Youtube. The sampling technique used the Cochran formula so that a minimum sample size of 385 respondents was determined and in the study the valid respondents were 400 respondents. The data analysis technique is a multivariate technique using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. For data analysis using the AMOS 24 application. The findings of this study indicate that there is no effect of eWOM Samsung smartphones on Purchase Intention and the influence of eWOM on the Brand Attitude of Samsung brand smartphones on Youtube social media

Abstrak. Pemanfaatan kulit melinjo sebagai produk makanan olahan belum banyak diketahui oleh masyarakat. Biasanya kulit melinjo tidak dimanfaatkan lagi dan dibuang begitu saja padahal kulit melinjo dapat diolah kembali menjadi beberapa produk makanan seperti keripik kulit melinjo, manisan, teh, pewarna makanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik pengeringan dan mutu dalam pembuatan keripik kulit melinjo dengan alat pengering tipe tray dryer pada suhu 35oC dan 45oC. Masing-masing suhu tersebut diulang sebanyak dua kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada suhu 35oC kelembaban udara yang diperoleh adalah 70,50% dengan lama pengeringan 390 menit (6,5 jam) dan rata-rata laju pengeringan sebesar 1,08 bk/menit, sedangkan pada suhu 45oC kelembaban udara yang diperoleh adalah 60,72% dengan lama pengeringan 300 menit (5 jam) dan rata-rata laju pengeringan sebesar 1,32 bk/menit. Kecepatan aliran udara ruang pengering pada suhu 35oC dan 45oC adalah konstan (2,4 m/s). Rata-rata kadar air awal kulit melinjo adalah 82,26% sedangkan kadar air akhir adalah 21,36%. Susut bobot pada suhu 35oC adalah 77,56% dan pada suhu 45oC adalah 77,32%. Hasil uji organoleptik terbaik adalah pada suhu 35oC dengan skor 4,28 untuk warna, 4,50 untuk aroma, 4,53 untuk rasa dan 4,40 untuk tekstur.Characteristic Melinjo Peel (Gnetum gnemon L) Drying with Tray Dryer for Making Melinjo Peel ChipsAbstract. The use of melinjo peel as a processed food product is not widely known in the public. Melinjo peel is usually no longer used and thrown away even though the peel could be reprocessed into several food products such as melinjo peel chips, confectionery, tea, and food coloring. This research aimed to determine the characteristics of drying and quality in the making of melinjo peel chips with tray dryer at 35oC and 45oC. Each temperature is repeated twice. The results showed that at a temperature of 35oC, the humidity was 70.50% with a drying time was 390 minutes (6.5 hours) and the average of drying rate was 1.08 dw/minute, meanwhile at 45oC the humidity was 60.72% with a drying time was 300 minutes (5 hours) and an average of drying rate was 1.32 dw/minute. The airflow velocity of the drying chamber at 35oC and 45oC was constant (2.4m/s). The average of initial moisture of melinjo peel was 82.26% and final moisture was 21.36%. The weight loss at 35oC was 77.56% and at 45oC was 77.32%. The best results of organoleptic test was at temperature 35oC with score 4.28 for color, 4.50 for flavor, 4.53 for taste and 4.40 for texture.

In this digital era, all activities can be published to the public through social media. Many groups of people actively use social media ranging from students, adults, entrepreneurs and state officials. One of them is the seventh President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ir. H. Joko Widodo. Joko Widodo has a variety of social media platforms, social media with the most followers among other social media is Instagram. With a total of 16.5 million followers making him the leader of the country with the second most followers in the world. The content of uploads on Instagram of Joko Widodo is diverse and very massive, the things Joko Widodo does on Instagram social media is one way to form personal branding. Personal branding is a unique phenomenon because basically all people have their own characteristics, to get the results of long-lasting branding and provide maximum benefits, the branding process must come from authentic, real and original evidence. This study aims to determine how effective the use of social media instagram is for the formation of Joko Widodo's personal Branding to the 2019 First Election Voters who are still confused and need references to make choices in using their voting rights. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method of two variables. The independent variable in this study is the effectiveness of using social media instagram while the dependent variable is Joko Widodo's personal branding. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents using the Nonprobality Sampling technique. The results of this study state that the use of Instagram social media in delivering the desired message falls into the effective category with a percentage of 74.9% while the formation of personal branding for the first voters is included in the effective category with a percentage of 81.1%. The conclusion of this study is that the communication carried out by Joko Widodo's Instagram social media account took place effectively and had a positive effect on the formation of Joko Widodo's personal branding for the first voters of the 2019 Election. In this article, we review our study of 13 493 bot-like Twitter accounts that tweeted during the UK European Union membership referendum debate and disappeared from the platform after the ballot. We discuss the methodological challenges and lessons learned from a study that emerged in a period of increasing weaponization of social media and mounting concerns about information warfare. We address the challenges and shortcomings involved in bot detection, the extent to which disinformation campaigns on social media are effective, valid metrics for user exposure, activation and engagement in the context of disinformation campaigns, unsupervised and supervised posting protocols, along with infrastructure and ethical issues associated with social sciences research based on large-scale social media data. We argue for improving researchers' access to data associated with contentious issues and suggest that social media platforms should offer public application programming interfaces to allow researchers access to content generated on their networks. We conclude with reflections on the relevance of this research agenda to public policy. This article is part of a discussion meeting issue ‘The growing ubiquity of algorithms in society: implications, impacts and innovations'.

The increase in product market share cannot be separated from the connectivity of the marketing system and media used. Marketing channels play an important role in increasing sales both in the short and long term. This study aimed to determine the role of social media in increasing the market share of MSME products in Pematangsiantar City. The research design used a literature study and field study models using a qualitative approach with a one-shot model. The research location was in 8 districts in Pematangsiantar City. The population in this study were MSME players scattered in 8 districts in Pematangsiantar City. The samples were collected using a non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling technique, so that a total sample size of 240 respondents were obtained. Moreover, the data analysis technique used in this study was data analysis with a data reduction model that was obtained from data collection and data display. The results of this study concluded that the use of social media was very dominant in MSME players in the micro sector and Instagram was one type of social media that was often used. Furthermore, the results of the study also suggested that the time factor was the basis for MSME players using social media as a medium for promoting their products.

This paperaims to knowthe quality indicatorsof the financial statements which consist of profitability, solvency and reputation of Registered Public Accountant (KAP)to the audit lagwith company size as a moderation variable either partially or simultaneously in LQ45 companies. This research is a comparative causal research with ex post facto approach. Purposive sampling technique is used in this research and there are 18 samples collected by this technique from LQ45 in Indonesia Company Issueryear 2010-2016. The data analyzed research is 126. Data analysis technique used Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with the Application ofEviews Software. The study concluded thatstudy showed that solvency, reputation of the public accounting firm and company size had a significant effect on Audit Lag, while profitability had no significant effect on Audit Lag. The size of a company able to moderate the effect of independent variablesto the Audit Lag and not haveto moderate the effect of the profitability to the Audit Lag.

A rapidly increasing growth of social networks and the propensity of users to communicate their physical activities, thoughts, expressions, and viewpoints in text, visual, and audio material have opened up new possibilities and opportunities in sentiment and activity analysis. Although sentiment and activity analysis of text streams has been extensively studied in the literature, it is relatively recent yet challenging to evaluate sentiment and physical activities together from visuals such as photographs and videos. This paper emphasizes human sentiment in a socially crucial field, namely social media disaster/catastrophe analysis, with associated physical activity analysis. We suggest multi-tagging sentiment and associated activity analyzer fused with a a deep human count tracker, a pragmatic technique for multiple object tracking, and count in occluded circumstances with a reduced number of identity switches in disaster-related videos and images. A crowd-sourcing study has been conducted to analyze and annotate human activity and sentiments towards natural disasters and related images in social networks. The crowdsourcing study outcome into a large-scale benchmark dataset with three annotations sets each resolves distinct tasks. The presented analysis and dataset will anchor a baseline for future research in the domain. We believe that the proposed system will contribute to more viable communities by benefiting different stakeholders, such as news broadcasters, emergency relief organizations, and the public in general.
