The purpose of research is to improving problem solving skill of physics at student in SMPN 16 Mataram used mind mapping method at direct instruction model. Subyek research is VIII-E class with 32 students. The type of research is Classroom Action Research which done 2 cycle which consist of planning phase, execution, observation, evaluation, and reflection. Student and teacher activity data were get from observation sheet, and students learning result were get from test in the end of each cycle. Efficacy indicator of this research is if the category activity student is active and be improve, learning result of students is complete clasicality, which students get score ≥ KKM value 75 have reached ≥ 85 % from student grand total following evaluation. The result of this research showing the student activity and learning result is improved. In first cycle got mean score activity student is 10,5 with category active enough, and class mean is 73.6 with clasical complete 65.6 %. In second cycle got mean score activity student is 13,5 with category active, and mean class is 80.9 with complete classical is 87.5%. Based on the results got from each cycle, it can be concluded that the implementation of mind mapping method on direct instruction model can increase the physics problem solving skill of student of SMPN 16 Mataram, specially in vibration and wave chapter.

The application of models and methods that are not in accordance with the characteristics of teaching materials has an impact on the low activity of students. Therefore, this research was conducted with the aim of analyzing student activities after applying the direct instruction model with the mind mapping method. This research is a classroom action research with Hopkins design. This study consisted of two cycles with two meetings per cycle. The subjects of this study were students of class XI IPA SMAN 11 Banjarmasin. Data collection techniques were obtained through observation. The results showed that student activity increased from 68.12% to 75.38% in the active category. It was concluded that the direct instruction model with the mind mapping method could increase the activity of class XI science students at SMAN 11 Banjarmasin.

The students’s low ability in applying physics formula at class VII-B SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Banjarmasin will obstruct student in learning physics and give negative effect on learning outcome especially for material that includes formula. Therefore, this study was conducted to improve the students’s ability in applying physics formula by using problem solving method in direct instruction model at class VII-B SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Banjarmasin. This study utilized Hopkin’s model of classroom action research which consisted of 2 cycles, each cycle included plan, action/ observation, and reflection. The data were obtained from observation and test. The data were analyzed in descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The findings from first cycles to second cycles of this research were as follows: (1) The fidelity of lesson plans as a whole increased from 76,86% to 94,47%, (2) the student’s skill procedure classicaly increased from 86,37% to 100%, (3) the students’s ability in applying physics formula increased from 59,09% to 95,94%, (4) the student’s learning outcome classicaly increased from 59,09% to 95,94%. So, it can be concluded that problem solving method in direct instruction model can improve the students’s ability in applying physics formula in class VIIB SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Banjarmasin.

Writing a diary with colorful propeller mind mapping method is an innovative method to enhance the 7th grade hearing impaired students’ capabilities and skills of writing in Karya Mulia Special Secondary School for Students with Disabilities (SMPLB) Surabaya. This innovative effort was based on the constraints or obstacles to teach hearing impaired students in developing the abilities and skills of writing a diary that were still far below the average of minimum completion criteria (KKM). To find out the extent of this innovative method’s implementation’s impact, the author wanted to do a class action research (PTK) that includes 3 cycles where two-time meetings were conducted in each cycle. The research was started from the pre action activities continued to a cycle-1, cycle-2, to cycle-3. The result indicates that there has been improvements in 7th grade student’s learning outcome in writing a diary through mind mapping mehod using learn to write diary through colorful propeller mapping method AsbtrakMenulis buku harian melalui metode pemetaan pikiran (mind mapping) dengan menggunakan baling-baling berwarna merupakan metode inovatif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampilan menulis buku harian siswa tuna rungu kelas VII SMPLB Karya Mulia Surabaya. Upaya inovatif ini beranjak dari kendala/hambatan sebelumnya dalam membelajarkan siswa tuna rungu mengembangkan kemampuan dan keterampilan menulis Buku Harian yang hasilnya berada jauh di bawah rata-rata Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM). Untuk mengetahui sejauh mana dampak dari penerapan metode inovatif ini, penulis melakukan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang mencakup 3 siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri dari dua kali pertemuan. Penelitian dimulai dari kegiatan pra tindakan, dilanjutkan dengan siklus-1, siklus-2, sampai dengan siklus-3. Hasil penelitian tindakan kelas menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII SMPLB Karya Mulia Surabaya dalam menulis buku harian melalui metode pemetaan pikiran dengan baling-baling berwarna

Abstract: This study aims to describe application and improvement learning result of summarizing explanatory text use mind mapping by strengthening the character of responsibility. Type of research is classroom action research. By means 4 stages, they are, plan, implementation, observation, and reflection. The result showed an increase in the percentage of teacher activity from cycle I to cycle II which is 84 percent to 100 percent. Student activity also increased from 80 percent to 88 percent. Student learning result of knowledge aspect had increased from cycle I to cycle II with classical learning completeness from 78 percent to 88 percent. Student learning result of skill aspect had increased in cycle I to cycle II with classical learning completeness from 65 percent to 88 percent. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan dan peningkatan hasil belajar meringkas teks eksplanasi menggunakan model Mind Mapping dengan penguatan karakter tanggung jawab. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Melalui 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan presentase aktivitas guru dari siklus I ke siklus II yaitu 84 persen menjadi 100 persen. Aktivitas siswa juga mengalami peningkatan dari 80 persen menjadi 88 persen. Hasil belajar siswa aspek pengetahuan mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II dengan ketuntasan belajar klasikal dari 78 persen meningkat menjadi 88 persen. Hasil belajar siswa aspek keterampilan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I ke siklus II dengan ketuntasa belajar klasikal dari 65 persen meningkat menjadi 88 persen.

<p>this research is meant to:1) see the difference influence of Cooperative Script Model with the help of mind mapping with Direct Instructional teaching model to students’ creativity skill; 2) to prove the affectivity of Cooperative Script model implementation with the help of Mind Mapping in in improving Student’s creativity in applying basic teaching skill in Micro Teaching simulation activity; 3) to prove the implementation of Direct Instruction model in improving students’ creativity in applying basic teaching skill in micro teaching simulation. This research uses experimental method with two groups pre-test post-test. The result shows that: (1) the implementation of cooperative script model with the help of mind mapping is proven to be effective in improving student’s creativity in applying basic teaching skills in simulation activity can be seen from the experiment group where 11 skills (indicator formulation skill, apperception skill, opening skill, questioning skill, using variation skill, class management skill, discussion guidance skill, individual teaching skill, material mastery skill, class mastery skill and media usage skill) are showing the average score of more than 80, (2) the implementation of direct instruction model can improve student’s creativity in applying basic teaching skills where 6 basic skills (indicator formulation skill, giving apperception skill, lesson opening skill, questioning skill, class management skill and individual teaching skill) are able to achieve average scores of more than 80, and (3) the misconception done by students can be categorized as basic mathematical misconception which is caused by apperception mistake and understanding.</p>Keywords:

The study is intended to improve the students’ achievement of class XI TKJ 2 SMKN1 Kras by implementing mind mapping in PAI teaching. It was intentionallyselected since it could activate the left and the right brain simultaneously so thatstudents could achieve the PAI teaching objectives including knowing, doing andpracticing in daily life. This study used Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research aims at describing the process and learning achievement through mind mapping method. The research was an action research begun with : a) planning, b) action and observation , c) reflection. The process of the research was classified into two cycles. The subject was class XI MIPA 5 consist of 32 students with 15 orang males and 17 females. The data were collected through  test,  observation, interview and documentation. The data analysis was conducted both qualitatively and quantitatively.  The result showed the improvement of students' achievement after treated with mind mapping method. Before treatment, the percentage was 46,77% which improved to 70,39 % after the First cycle and improved to 82.22% after the second cycle. In conclusion, there was an improvement of biology learning achievement by applying mind mapping method. Keywords: Mind Maping Method, Achievement

This study aims to (1) describe the learning activities of students in teaching and learning activities using the Direct Instruction Model with Animation Media (2) to know the increase in social studies learning outcomes at SDS Muhammadiyah Strait of Class IVA after using the Direct Instruction Model with Animation Media. The type of research used by researchers is to use a class action research design (CAR) that seeks to solve problems faced in the current situation. With the number of research subjects 27 students namely 16 men and 11 women � qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. The results of the study show that: (1) Student learning activities are good at social studies learning using Direct Instruction models with animated media. The first cycle of student activity has an average value of 3.52 with good categories and the second cycle of student activity has an average value of 3.94 in the excellent class. (2) There is an increase in learning outcomes after learning by using the Direct Instruction model with animation media on social studies lessons for students of class IVA SDS Muhammadiyah Selat. This can be seen from the data on student learning outcomes. In the initial test of learning outcomes students get 48% classical completeness with an average value of 61, in the first cycle the learning outcomes of students get 77% artistic completeness with an average value of 70 and in the second cycle the learning outcomes of students get 100% classical completeness with an average amount of 87 reaching the specified KKM.

One of the successness of learning is difined by the method which being utilized in learning process. Many learning methods are being developed by the education experts in case to encourage the successness learning, one of them is the Mind Mapping method. Mind Mapping could be said to be relatively new learning method.Mind Mapping method in education is a way of serving and delivery learning materials which teacher give the opportunities to the students whether individually or in a group to conduct the scientif talk in terms of collecting views, and make the conclusion or arrange any alternative problem solving, Mind Mapping is a way learning serving, where students are faced to any problem. (Problem solving). This study found that there is an influence of Mind Mapping learning method in increasing students learning achievements in the subjects of human governance and protocol for XII grade at SMK Daarul Fataa Bojonggede, Bogor. To strengthen this study, researcher conducted instrument testing , where the instrument testing showed there is a significant influence in utilizing mind mapping learning method in increasing student learning achievement in the subjects of human governance and protocol.
