Community Service Activities in the form of assistance in the development of learning media aim to provide knowledge and skills in developing learning media that meet the requirements for certification for teachers. The ability to develop instructional media is expected to accelerate and facilitate the acquisition of in-service teacher certification. The target audience in this PPM activity is the 26 teacher of SMK 1 Watampone. Assistance in the development of instructional media is carried out by means of lectures, demonstration and exercises accompanied by question and answers. The Lecture method is used to explain the introductory concepts of professional teachers and teacher certification and the theory of instructional media. The demonstration method is used to show a work process, namely the stages of developing computer-based learning media, while the training method is to practice making media that meets the requirements of the teacher certification program. While the question and answer method is to give participants the opportunity to consult in overcoming obstacles in the development of learning media. The benefits that participants can get from activities include being able to compile and develop computer-based learning media according to the training subject being taught.

Abstract: Community Service Activities are carried out in the form of a day training for students in designing posters using Adobe Photoshop software as a way to add and develop the abilities and creativity of students in SMA Negeri 5 Tanjungbalai. The target in this activity is the students of SMA Negeri 5 Tanjungbalai, amounting to approximately 18 people. This dedication activity is carried out using lecture, demonstration, and practice methods accompanied by questions and answers. The lecture method is used to explain the introductory concept of the introduction of Adobe Photoshop software as one of the media in processing images. The demonstration method is used to show a work process that is the stages of introducing tools in Adobe Photoshop software and knowing each of its functions, while the training method is to practice directly how to design posters in the application. While the question and answer method is to give participants the opportunity to consult to overcome obstacles in understanding the material that has been obtained. Metodeceramah digunakan untuk menjelaskan konsep pengantar dari pengenalan software adobe Photoshopsebagai salah satu media dalam mengolah gambar. Metode demonstrasidipakai untuk menunjukkan suatu proses kerja yaitu tahap-tahapmengenalan tool-tool yang ada pada software adobe Photoshopdan mengetahui masing-masing fungsinya, sedangkanmetode latihan untuk mempraktikkan langsung cara mendesain poster pada aplikasi tersebut. <p><em>The purpose of community service activity is in the form of training of microsoft power point interactive utilization on natural event material for elementary school at Muhammadiyah 1 Purworejo teachers, among others: (1) teachers become skilled in developing computer-based teaching materials, (2) creating learning innovation in elementary school Muhammadiyah 1 Purworejo, (3) realization of computer-based learning in classroom learning activities, (4) improvement of quality and learning outcomes at Primary School Muhammadiyah 1 Purworejo, (5) scientific publication on utilization of Microsoft Power Point Interactive on Natural Event Material for Teachers SD Muhammadiyah 1 Purworejo, (6) mass media utilization of interactive microsoft power point on the material of natural events for Teachers of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Purworejo. The method applied by the community service activity is in the form of short training using lecture, discussion, question and answer method and the demonstration which was followed by 9 teachers held at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Purworejo which cover the planning, implementation, and production process</em><em>.</em></p>

Abstract: Community Service Activities in the form of internet utilization training at LKP Bintang Mulia Batubara aim to increase students' knowledge of internet technology and the benefits of the internet and encourage students to be able to independently manage networks and the internet. The target audience in this community service is LKP Bintang Mulia Batubara students. The training method used is a form of training in the classroom using the lecture method, discussion and question and answer. The lecture method used is intended to provide a theoretical explanation of internet and network material. The discussion method is used to explore students' understanding of the material given in lectures. The practice method is used to show directly how to make a network cable. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada Sabtu, 25 Agustus 2018 di SD Negeri Sukasari I Dusun Cikuda Desa Sukasari Kecamatan Cibuaya Kabupaten Karawang. Adapun analisis situasi sekolah ini ialah rendahnya penggunaan media pembelajaran dalam proses belajar mengajar. Kegiatan pkm ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar matematika dengan menggunakan media kantong doraemon. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode ceramah, metode diskusi dan simulasi. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan pkm ini ialah meningkatnya motivasi belajar siswa khususnya pada pembelajaran matematika di kelas III sekolah dasar sebesar 84% serta siswa dapat memahami tentang konsep teknik menyimpan pada penjumlahan dan pengurang bilangan.  Kata kunci : pengabdian, masyarakat, media kantong doraemon,  motivasi matematika.   Community service activities were carried out on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Sukasari I Elementary School, Cikuda Sub-Village, Sukasari Village, Cibuaya District, Karawang Regency. The analysis of the situation of this school is the low use of instructional media in the teaching and learning process. This pkm activity aims to increase motivation to learn mathematics by using the Doraemon pocket media. The method used in this research is the lecture method, discussion method and simulation. The results obtained from this pkm activity are increased student motivation, especially in learning mathematics in grade III elementary school with percentase 84 and students can understand the concept of saving techniques on the addition and subtraction of numbers.  Keywords: devotion, society, Doraemon pocket media, mathematical motivation.

The purpose of this community service is to provide knowledge about managing plastic waste through Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle (3R). Ecobrick is one of the recycling efforts to minimize the amount of plastic waste movements, by providing knowledge and skills to PAUD Sukun teachers, South Maitara Village, Tidore Islands City in utilizing plastic waste as an educational learning medium. Respondents in this training as many as 20 people, using the lecture method, question and answer, demonstration and discussion. The results of the activity showed that the APE Ecobrick training had a significant impact on the participants, namely knowledge (knowledge) increased by 42.86%, skills increased by 44.26% and ability (ability) became 44.29%. This training is expected to help teachers to create creative and innovative APE using an environmental approach, as well as introduce students to the dangers of plastic waste to the environment, and shape their behavior to recognize and love the environment.

Soft Skill communication skills are very important for prospective scholars. These abilities are useful in dealing with the world of work, such as during interviews, convey ideas well, and are able to negotiate and looby. The training was attended by 150 participants from various faculties at the University of North Sumatra such as: Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Cultural Sciences. The training method uses the method of delivering two-way communication and material simulation. The result of this community service activity is the increased knowledge and skills of Soft Skill Communication candidates for the University Sumatra Utara candidate in the face of the workforce.

There are several learning models that are applied in learning Biology in secondary schools. The teaching and learning process in several schools is still dominated by the lecture method. This community service activity aims to improve the knowledge and skills of Madrasah Teachers in West Lombok Regency in applying experimental methods for learning biology on the subject of photosynthesis. The methods used in community service activities are: lectures and discussions,  practice photosynthesis experiments, and independent assignments in the form of making learning media. This community service activity was attended by 20 participants consisting of Madrasah teachers from West Lombok Regency. This activity received a positive response from the target participants. This activity has succeeded in increasing participants' knowledge and skills regarding the subject of photosynthesis and experimental methods for learning photosynthesis.

Community Service Skills Activities undertaken is to provide facial makeup training and hairdressing to teachers KKG SD GUGUS 1 in Lubuk Alung district. The target audience in this activity is the arts teacher of KKG Elementary School Teachers 1 Lubuk Alung Subdistrict totaling 10 people. Primary Schools often hold performing arts performances. But there are still very few teachers who can make up their students for the performance of the stage. Therefore, it is required the training of facial makeup and hairdressing skills. This activity aims to improve facial makeup skills and hair styling of teachers for the purposes of performing through training. This training uses various methods of lecture method, question and answer method, demonstration method, practice / practice and method of recitation or assigning task. (2) Demonstrate makeup and hair styling makeup, (3) Practice makeup and hair styling to each student, (4) Question and answer. In general, the results of this activity have been achieved well, where all the activities that have been done have achieved the desired goal of increasing the knowledge and skills of teachers KKG Cluster 1 Kecamatan Lubuk Alung about facial makeup skills and hair styling for art performances.

Abstrack: Community Service Activities in the form of training on the use of the internet at Porsea Sub-District of Toba Samosir District aim to increase the knowledge of the surrounding community about internet technology and the benefits of the internet and encourage surrounding communities to be able to independently manage and utilize network and internet functions. The main target  in this community service is the community around Porsea Sub-District, Toba Samosir District. The discussion method is used to explore the understanding of the surrounding community about the material given in lectures. Practice methods are used to show  how to use the internet properly and correctly.
