Although MLD students do not have good mathematical performance in completing addition and subtraction operations of integers, MLD students have suggestive ideas in the form of drawings produced in solving open number sentences questions. This study aims to classify the types and identify changes in the drawing produced by MLD students in solving open number sentences questions. This research method is qualitative with a micro generic study approach to understand students' thinking individually and explore drawing changes in solving open number sentences questions between sessions. The research subjects were 2 out of 20 MLD grade 5 elementary school students who produced the most varied drawings in solving open number sentences questions. Data collection techniques used are giving questions and interviews. The results showed that MLD students produced: discrete object drawings by focusing on the cardinality of the quantity of a number; transitions from objects to the number line by focusing on the magnitude of numbers; partitioning the number line using magnitude reasoning; number sentences; and others using verbal reasoning. Changes in the drawings produced by MLD students between sessions indicate the development of students' understanding towards a better direction in interpreting symbolic representations to visual representations. The results of this study contribute to the theory that although MLD students have low mathematical performance. However, MLD students can produce variations and changes in drawings with rich mathematical idea information representing integer operations.

The low student learning outcomes are caused by students' thought that English is a difficult and boring subject so that students have difficulties understanding it. The purpose of this study is to analyze the types of learning difficulties experienced by students, the factors that affect learning difficulties, and to find out the efforts to overcome the difficulties of learning English in grade V of Elementary School. This research method uses descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were 22 grade V students and grade V teachers. The data collection procedures used were interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis used is a qualitative approach. The results of this study were 16 students experienced difficulty learning English, and also did not understand when the teacher delivered English materials. The factors that cause difficulty in learning English for grade V students are internal factors, including students are still less motivated and less interested in taking English lessons, while the external factor is that the teacher does not use teaching aids and the methods used are less varied and not innovative. Based on the above results, it is showed that grade V Elementary School students still have difficulty learning English lessons. Therefore, it can be concluded that students' learning concerns will have an impact on low learning outcomes

Abstract:This study aims to describe the Justification Type of Islamic primary school students in Learning There are three cognitive processes that occur in learning mathematics, namely (1) The process of acquiring new information (2) The process of transforming information received (3) Testing the relevance and accuracy of knowledge, The research approach used in this study is qualitative research. This study involved grade 5 Islamic primary school al Bahjah Tulungagung Students as research subjects. The instruments in this study were of two kinds, namely the main instrument and the assistive instrument. The main instrument is the researcher himself, while there are 2 (two) types of assistive instruments, namely: Mathematics Test and interview guidelines. The results of this study are descriptions of each type of justification, at the Assumption (2) Vague / broad statement stage. (3) Rule, (4) Procedural description. (5) Own explanation. In this study, one type of justification was found, namely the experiential connection. Both female and male elementary school students have difficulty doing action proof by using manipulative objects to provide conjectures and proof of the truth of a mathematical statement. Counter-examples can help elementary school students build informal proof stages to propose conjectures and proof of the truth of a mathematical statement more precisely. This study analyzes the action proof stages through counter-examples stimulation for male and female students in elementary schools. The action proof stage in this study focuses on three stages: proved their primitive conjecture, confronted counter-examples, and re-examined the conjecture and proof. The type of research used is qualitative with a case study approach. The research subjects were two of the 40 fifth-grade students selected purposively. The research instrument used is the task of proof and interview guidelines. Data collection techniques consist of Tasks, documentation, and interviews. The data analysis technique consists of three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The analysis results show that at the stage of proving their primitive conjecture, the conjectures made by female and male students through action proofs using manipulative objects are still wrong. At the stage of confronted counter-examples, conjectures and proof made by female and male students showed an improvement. At the stage of re-examining the conjecture and proof, the conjectures and proof by female and male students were comprehensive. It can be concluded that the stages of proof of the actions of female and male students using manipulative objects through stimulation counter-examples indicate an improvement in conjectures and more comprehensive proof.

This type of research is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. This study aimed to identify forms of students’ conceptual and principle difficulties in solving integer story problems. The research participants were 34 fifth-grade elementary students. The purposive sampling technique was used to select research subjects based on the minimum completeness criteria value. Methods of data collection using tests and interviews. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that there were two types of difficulties for elementary school students in solving integer story problems, namely, conceptual difficulties and principle difficulties. The form of conceptual difficulties experienced by students is the difficulty in converting story problems into mathematical form. Besides that, students tend not to write down the steps according to solving story problems, and the principal difficulties experienced by students include errors in performing mathematical calculations. This can be minimized by increasing practice questions in the form of story problems.

This study aims to determine the factors that cause high IQ students who experience learning difficulties so that learning outcomes are low (underachiever). This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach to the interpretive-constructivist model. The research subjects were 2 elementary school students who had high IQ but had low learning outcomes under the Minimum Completeness Standard (MCS). Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that the factors causing the underachiever were: burdening with the characteristics of not caring about learning and the inability to do learning assignments and a family environment with caring but possessive parents 'attitudes and parents who were more concerned with learning than facilitating students' potential.
