Science and technology competitions are an important platform to verify the use and improve the mastery of professional knowledge of college students. These competitions are also important in enhancing the comprehensive quality and ability of these students. To highlight the role of science and technology competitions in cultivating the comprehensive ability of undergraduates, this study designed questionnaires on college students’ cognition in science and technology competitions. In this study, the reliability of the questionnaire was tested and factor analysis method was used to explore the influencing factors of competition cognition under the premise of ensuring the reliability of the questionnaire. According to the results of the analysis, to enhance the training ability of students, positive interactions between teachers and students are promoted through a network-based contest using the WeChat public platform to build a virtual contest environment. Results show that the WeChat teaching platform can gradually improve students’ independent innovation ability. These conclusions are helpful to understand the participation situation and existing problems in such competitions, and to provide a useful reference on how to actualize the role of science and technology competitions.

With the increasing development of electronic computers and the popularization of computer technology, management systems have been widely used in the society. With the continuous improvement of the teaching system, the methods of education and teaching are also quietly changing, especially in the field of higher vocational education. Due to the characteristics of vocational education, it makes “training project progress control” and “teaching resource integration” the teaching requirements of “distribution,” “strictly restricting daily work habits,” “improving professional quality,” and “teachers’ effective control of the quality of students’ personal projects” that have become increasingly urgent needs in vocational colleges. There is a certain gap between the standards and quality of talent training in our country’s applied undergraduate colleges, and the society’s requirements for high-skilled talents and practical teaching in applied undergraduate colleges are a necessary condition for cultivating high-skilled talent. This subject research takes the mechanical manufacturing professional practice teaching system as the research object, conducts in-depth investigation and research in applied undergraduate colleges, explores the status quo of the mechanical manufacturing professional practice teaching system of applied undergraduate colleges, and analyzes the reasons for the problems. In this study, six classes of mechanical manufacturing majors in six applied undergraduate colleges were selected as the experimental group and the control group for comparison. The experimental group adopts an embedded mechanical manufacturing professional teaching system based on deep learning. In daily teaching, the control group used traditional teaching methods to learn. The questionnaire understands the role of the embedded machinery manufacturing professional teaching system in teaching from four aspects: practical teaching curriculum, practical teaching content, practical teaching equipment, and practical teaching teachers. Experiments have proved that more than half of the people think that the teaching effect of the current mechanical manufacturing professional practice teaching courses is average; only 17.18% think that the classroom is good, and 24.36% think that the classroom is poor. This shows that the construction of similar engineering professional practice is in line with the major itself, and the teaching system has theoretical guiding significance, which is conducive to the seamless connection of mechanical manufacturing majors and industrial positions in applied undergraduate colleges; it is conducive to continuously improving the core competitiveness of mechanical manufacturing majors in industrial and applied undergraduate colleges.

Legal knowledge is boring, and some content is not related to their life experience. To impart such complex knowledge to students, as a teacher, you must improve your professional skills, actively explore, learn, and find the best teaching methods. Only in this way can the students’ understanding of legal knowledge and thinking ability be expanded, and the boring legal knowledge can be more specific, visualized, popular, life-oriented, and easy to understand, so that students can master and understand legal knowledge and transform it into their own practical actions. This article is mainly aimed at the conditions created by the current social practice of law students by enterprises and institutions in the society, as well as the knowledge teaching situation of law practice teaching in law education during school. It emphasizes the importance of knowledge education in legal practice teaching, and calls on schools to increase investment in time teaching. All the teachers and students are required. This article scientifically and comprehensively interprets the knowledge education situation of legal practice teaching in our country’s legal education. Especially the intuitive analysis, in the process of knowledge education, the teaching methods adopted the teaching principles to follow and other issues. It makes everyone more clearly and straightforwardly aware of the positive significance of the knowledge education of legal practice teaching in legal education for the cultivation of talents. Through the discussion of the problems, this article knows the importance of constructing a reasonable teaching model of law. Among them, practical teaching knowledge education is very beneficial to students and has a profound impact on students’ future employment. The article describes an approach to organizing the teacher-students interaction in programming courses using the Git version control system. In order to select the most suitable and affordable system for educational needs a comparative analysis of different Git repository management systems was carried out. Based on the experience of various educational institutions that use version control systems in their courses, the advantages and disadvantages of using these systems in teaching were identified. Taking into account the existing problems, a software solution was developed based on the GitLab system. As part of this solution, a method is proposed for organizing the work of a teacher and students in disciplines that use version control systems. This approach implies using both GitLab and additional system, which serves as a manager for Git repositories and is designed to facilitate the work of the teacher and administrator by automating the tasks they perform. The main purpose of the article is a detailed description of this approach: limiting permissions to both teachers and students, GitLab organization and functionality, a list of use cases for each user. The article also presents common workflows of the additional system, its main entities and their relationships and an overview of the features that the system provides.

The last decade has been marked by large-scale and rapid changes in education, taking place on the basis of modern infocommunication and digital technologies, new hardware and software, as well as teaching methods updated in accordance with this. The limited mobility of citizens due to the coronavirus pandemic further intensified these processes, when, even with a low readiness of educational institutions to switch to distance (electronic, remote) technologies, teachers and students had to quickly master these technologies and use them in practice. The resulting experience allows us to identify not only problematic, sometimes even negative, features of distance learning, but also to make sure of the undoubted advantages of these technologies. The article points out the need for a systematic analysis when deciding on the use of e-learning, taking into account both technical and methodological, as well as personnel readiness for the implementation of this technology. The article analyzes these problems using the example of teaching both technical and humanitarian disciplines. The experience of distance work is analyzed on the example of cooperation between the Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics (Russia) and the L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (Kazakhstan), which in its practical activities purposefully invites foreign professors to deliver lectures, guide undergraduates, etc., including those based on distance technology. The data of an anonymous questionnaire survey of students of these universities are given, allowing to assess the effectiveness of the decisions made, as well as to clarify the existing problems.

There has been an implied direct connection between the scholarly literature and applied practice. However, the sport and exercise psychology community is lacking an empirical account of what practitioners believe to have been the most impactful scholarly writings to their applied practice. The purpose of this study was to survey applied practitioners of their perceived most impactful scholarly writings to their professional practice. Surveys were returned from 532 participants solicited from the Association for Applied Sport Psychology membership, who were asked to identify their perceived most impactful book and journal article to their practice. Frequency statistics were calculated and presented for topic, type, title, author(s), year published, and journal. A total of 143 different books and 188 different articles across 84 different journals were reported. Implications for applied practice, teaching sport and exercise psychology, and research are presented.
