Abstract: The inadequate, slow production of breast milk makes mothers unable to provide enough breast milk to their babies. Besides the prolactin hormone, the lactation process also depends on oxytocin hormone which is secreted from the posterior hypophysis as a reaction on nipple suckling. Rolling massage is one of the relaxation therapy which aims to stimulate the central nerve on posterior and anterior hypophysis, so the breast milk production can be increased, particularly in the postpartum mothers, and comfort and relaxation after childbirth can be provided. This research aims to investigate the effectiveness of breast milk production in the postpartum mothers with massage rolling (back) in Sri Sukeni Community Empowerment Agency, Sleman. The methodology in this research is Quasi-Experimental Design with two-group posttest design. The control group is postpartum mothers without massage rolling and the treatment group is postpartum mother treated with the massage rolling. Data analysis used the independent t-test and the paired sample t-test. The research shows the result that in samples of t-test, there is a meaningful difference (p = 0.023<) in breast milk production (weight of baby) between control group (2,687.07 ± 160.155) and treatment group (2,846.13 ± 198.968). This difference is shown in the average weight of baby in treatment group which is higher compared with the control group. Massage rolling affects breast milk production in Sri Sukeni Community Empowerment Agency, Sleman in 2017.

Mother's milk (ASI) is the first and best food that must be given to babies because it contains nutrients that are needed in the process of growth and development of children's intelligence. One of the causes of failure to support breast milk has not been released from breast milk after the mother receives it. Expenditures of breast milk can be accelerated by non-pharmacological actions, namely through oxytocin massage which can be done by massaging the area around the back (vertebra pars thoratica) to stimulate the release of breast milk. Objective: This study aimed to determine the effect of oxytocin massage on the release of breast milk in primipara postpartum mothers at RSIA Srikandi IBI. Method: this study is a pre-experimental study with a static group comparison design: randomized control group only design,  the number of respondents in this study were 36 consisting of 18 experimental groups and 18 control groups. Results: this study used a paired t-test t test obtained P = 0.001 (P <0.05). Keywords  : Oxytocin Massage, Primiparous Post Partum M/other

During pregnancy, the prolactin hormone from placenta increases but breast milk usually does has come out because it is still inhibited by high estrogen levels. On the second or third day of postpartum, estrogen and progesterone levels drop significantly, so the effect of prolactin is more dominant and secretion of breast milk begins. By breastfeeding earlier the secretion of breast milk gets smoother. Based on a preliminary study, 46.0% of post partum mothers experienced non-breast milk. This study aims to determine the differences in the production of breast milk in post partum mothers who performed acupressure techniques for lactation and breast care techniques. This research is a kind of research of quasy exsperimental design with non equivalent control group design. The samples were 7 post partum mothers that used acupressure techniques for lactation and 7 post partum mothers used breast care techniques from in February to March 2017. The sampling technique used was non probability sampling (consecutive sampling). From the statistic test of Independent T-Test indicates that α = 0.05 and P value 0.03 thus P Value<alpha (0.03 <0.05) so that H0 is rejected and Ha accepted there was a difference in breast milk production in post partum mothers performed acupressure and breast care techniques in the BPM Sri Wahyuni area, S.ST Surabaya. Midwives are able to socialize this acupressure technique to all post partum mothers, so that midwives can help secretion of breast milk production for post partum mothers with acupressure techniques with relatively cheaper costs
