Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan program pengembangan kompetensi pedagogik guru di SMK Islamiyah Ciputat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif, yaitu untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan mengenai program pengembangan kompetensi pedagogik di SMK Islamiyah Ciputat. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Pihak yang di wawancara adalah kepala sekolah sebagai subjek penelitian, wakil kepala bidang kurikulum, dan 5 orang guru sebagai sumber data. Observasi yang dilakukan saat aktivitas Kegiatan Belajar Mengajar (KBM) di kelas. Studi dokumentasi dilakukan dengan pengambilan gambar secara langsung dan meminta arsip atau berkas-berkas kepada dewan guru yang di wawancarai terkait dengan kegiatan pengembangan kompetensi pedagogik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program pengembangan kompetensi pedagogik di SMK Islamiyah Ciputat cukup baik. Hal ini terlihat ada beberapa strategi yang dilakukan kepala sekolah dalam mengembangkan kompetensi pedagogik guru diantaranya mengadakan pelatihan, seminar, dan workshop, mengadakan diskusi intern, dan kepala sekolah juga selalu mengikutsertakan guru-guru pada kegiatan pelatihan atau kegiatan pengembangan yang diadakan oleh lembaga lain. Akan tetapi hal ini dilaksanakan hanya sesuai kebutuhan saat itu, dan kegiatan pengembangan kompetensi pedagogik tersebut tidak terjadwalkan secara rutin dan tidak tertulis. Kata kunci: Pengembangan guru, kompetensi pedagogik, sekolah kejuruan Abstract [The Development of Teacher Pedagogical Competence of Islamic Vocational High School]. This study aims to determine and describe the pedagogic teacher competence development program at Vocational High School Islamiyah Ciputat. The research method used is a qualitative approach that is to know and describe pedagogic competence development program at Vocational High School Islamiyah Ciputat. Data collectiontechniques include interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The parties in the interview are principals as research subjects, vice head of curriculum, and 5 teachers as data sources. Observations made during the activities of Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM) in the classroom. Documentation study is done by taking pictures directly and requesting archives or files to the interviewed teacher council related to pedagogic competence development activities. The results showed that pedagogic competence development program at Vocational High School Islamiyah Ciputat was quite good. It is seen that there are several strategies that principals do in developing teacher pedagogic competence such as arranging training, seminars, and workshops, holding internal discussions, and the principal also involves teachers in training activities or development activities organized by other institutions. However, this is done only according to the needs of the time, and the pedagogic competence development activities are not scheduled on a regular or unwritten basis. Teachers are an important part of education, the results of the achievements of education are proportional to the competencies of the teacher. One of the competency that teachers must have is pedagogical competence. This study aims to describe how the teacher’s pedagogical competencies on vocational high school of Padang City, with 86 research subjects, using the Teacher’s Pedagogical Competencies Inventory. The results of the study revealed that the teacher’s pedagogical competencies on vocational high school of Padang City is in a good category and this needs to be maintained and should be improved further.

Based on interviews conducted with the Head of the Vocational High School Management and Business Vocational High School Subject Teacher Conference in West Sumatra Province, it was found that teachers need to improve their competence about the use of Computer Accounting Applications. It is known that teachers still lack competence, and teachers are still unfamiliar with how to operate various menus and functions that can be used in a spreadsheet program to complete company financial reports. Based on this condition, the teaching and learning process for subjects has been done more with the lecture method and a little practice. So that this affects the competence of SMK graduates. In fact, the guidance for the world of work requires SMK graduates to operate this application program properly. The community's activity was carried out for two days on 18 and 19 September 2020 at SMKN 2 Kota Padang. The implementation is carried out in three stages, namely material presentation, integrated training, and evaluation. At the end of the activity, it was known that there was an increase in the understanding of the participants regarding the preparation of financial statements of trading companies using Microsoft Excel with a case settlement value that could be achieved was 85.71%. Furthermore, this increase in teacher competence is expected to be transferred to students and is reflected in the value of UKK and the acceptance of graduates in the world of work.

This study aims to improve teacher competence in planning authentic assessments with group guidance. The research method used is classroom action research. The research subjects were 10 teachers at Mandau 011 Junior High School. The timing of the research is carried out in two cycles starting on Monday 11 February to Saturday 23 February 2019. Analysis of the data used is qualitative in the form of data reduction, data presentation, and data inference. While for quantitative data descriptive analysis is carried out by calculating the average value and percentage. The results of the study indicate an increase in the competency of 011 Mandau Junior High School teachers in planning authentic assessments with group guidance. there is a cycle I of the average teacher competence of 70,6 with sufficient categories. The average teacher competency in the second cycle is 76,3 which is included in the good category. Classically, as many as 90% of teachers have been able to plan authentic assessments properly.

The teacher profession is very important as the spearhead in learning that creates students who have proficient abilities and skills as well as good attitudes in life. A competent teacher is certainly a reflection of continuous training and experience. One way to hone teacher competence in teaching is through peer teaching, known as peer teaching. Through this method, it is hoped that the teacher will have competence in teaching, especially in this study on the problem-based learning model where students are trained to solve problems based on the problems presented by the teacher. This research was conducted in October 2019 at SMP Negeri 11 Dumai with 22 teachers as research subjects. The instrument used was the teacher's activity observation sheet. The results showed that the pedagogical competence of teachers in the first cycle was 71.15 in the sufficient category and in the second cycle it was 81.09 in the good category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the competence of SMPN 11 Dumai teachers in implementing problem based learning has increased through the peer teaching method.

This research is motivated by government policies regarding distance learning so that teachers play an important role in preparing effective learning for students. Researchers seek to improve teacher competence in compiling lesson plans by conducting in-house training activities. This research was conducted at SDN 014 Teratak Buluh with 9 teachers as research subjects. The instrument used was the teacher competency observation sheet in preparing lesson plans. The results showed that in cycle I the competence of teachers had an average of 67.22 in the sufficient category, then increased in the second cycle to 78.33 which reached the good category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the competence of SDN 014 Teratak Buluh teachers in planning the implementation of learning during the Covid-19 pandemic can increase through in-house training.

AbstrakPembelajaran berbasis proyek merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran yang direkomendasikan untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran menurut kurikulum 2013. Pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) memiliki karakteristik yang berbeda dengan pelaksanaan pembelajaran di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Guru SMK harus mampu mengembangkan model pembelajaran yang dapat menghasilkan aspek keterampilan kerja. Salah satu masalah paling kritis dalam proses belajar mengajar Bahasa Inggris di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan adalah keengganan dan kreativitas guru yang kurang untuk menemukan cara agar pembelajaran lebih kreatif dan menyenangkan. Untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pemahaman siswa tentang suatu materi yang telah diajarkan dalam proses belajar mengajar, guru harus memberikan tugas kepada siswa. Penugasan dapat dilakukan dengan model Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek (PjBL). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi guru tentang pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam desain deskriptif kualitatif yang melibatkan tiga guru Bahasa Inggris SMK di Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir, Provinsi Riau sebagai responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara semi terstruktur sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa guru memiliki persepsi positif terhadap pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis proyek perlu dilakukan oleh guru di kelas Bahasa Inggris sebagai salah satu model dalam proses belajar mengajar karena berfokus pada siswa.Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek, Persepsi Guru, dan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan. AbstractProject-based learning is one of the recommended learning models to be used in learning according to the 2013 curriculum. The implementation of the learning process in Vocational High Schools have different characteristics from the implementation of learning in Senior High Schools. Vocational high school teachers must be able to develop learning models that can produce aspects of work skills. One of the most critical problems in teaching and learning English at Vocational High School is teachers’ unwillingness and less creativity to find ways to make learning more creative and fun. To find out what extent students understand about the material that has been taught in the teaching and learning process, the teachers must give assignments to the students. The assignments can be done with the model Project-Based Learning. The aim of this study was to investigate how teachers’ perception about project-based learning. This research conducted in descriptive qualitative design which involved three vocational high school English teachers in Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau Province as respondents. This research used semi-structured interview as an instrument to collect the data. The result of the analysis showed that teachers have positive perception toward project-based learning. There are two problems proposed in this paper, i.e. about (1) the transitivity systems elements that characterize English for SMK 1 Textbook for Grade X, and (2) the relevance of transitivity elements (Process and Circumstance) with the English teaching and learning processes. By using the theory of SFL, it can be described (as qualitative descriptive method of research), that in all Units of reading texts in the English textbook there were 238 clauses selected methodologically to be analyzed. In these clauses, all Process Types can be found with varieties of the usage. It is found that in all units of reading texts, Material Process types was the dominant type used, i.e. (48.6%), followed by Relational Process type (27,2%), Mental Process (18.6%) Verbal Process type 8,4%, and Behavioral and Existentional 7.0% each respectively. Related to the circumstance, the dominant one is Circumstance of Location (Time and Place = 37.7%). For the participant, it is related to the process exists in the text, i.e. Actor for Participant 1 and Goal for Paticipant 2.Keyword: Transitivity Systems Analysis, Textbook, Vocational High School

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mendeksripsikan nilai- nilai karakter dalam pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara. Subjek penelitian adalah 23 siswa kelas X A-3 SMKN 1 Bulango Utara, Kabupaten Gorontalo. Data yang diperoleh berupa hasil observasi proses pembelajaran, hasil wawancara, dan deskripsi hasil studi dokumen. Selanjutnya, data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan model interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara bahasa Indonesia di SMK Negeri 1 Bulango Utara belum sepenuhnya mengandung nilai-nilai berkarakter. Nilai-nilai karakter yang selalu muncul adalah jujur, bertanggung jawab, percaya diri, ingin tahu atau cinta ilmu, dan menghargai orang lain. Sementara itu, nilai-nilai karakter yang intensitas kemunculannya kurang dalam setiap pembelajaran adalah bernalar (berpikir logis, kritis, kreatif, dan inovatif), santun, dan disiplin. Hasil pembelajaran mencakup hal-hal berikut: (a) objektivitas pembicaraan, (b) kualitas isi pembicaraan, (c) sasaran atau arah pembicaraan, dan (d) gaya berbicara.Kata kunci: keterampilan berbicara, nilai karakter, bahasa Indonesia, siswa SMKMORAL VALUES IN THE LEARNING OF INDONESIAN SPEAKING SKILLSAMONG VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AbstractThis study aims to describe moral values in the learning of speaking skills. The research subjects were 23 students of Grade X A-3 SMKN 1 Bulango Utara, Gorontalo Regency. The data were the results of observations on the learning process, interviews, and description of the document study. The data were analyzed by the interactive model. The results show that the learning process of Indonesian speaking skills at SMK Negeri 1 Bulango Utara has not fully emphasized moral values. The values that always come up are honesty, responsibity, confidence, curiousity or love of science, and respect for others. Meanwhile, the values that rarely appear in learning are reasoning (logical, critical, creative, and innovative thinking), politeness, and discipline. The learning outcomes include: (a) the conversation objectivity, (b) the quality of the conversation content, (c) the goal or the direction of the conversation, and (d) the speaking style.Keywords: speaking skills, moral values, Indonesian, vocational high school students

The purpose of this study is to improve the ability of teachers in preparing questions on google forms. Building teachers' practical ways of thinking in solving problems related to the preparation of HOTS questions, as well as increasing the professionalism of school principals in organizing In House Training (IHT) and increasing the motivation and competence of school principals during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research method is descriptive qualitative through school action research which further deepens the teacher development process related to writing HOTS questions on the google form. The data of this study are qualitative data, while the research subjects are Candirejo State Elementary School teachers, totaling 8 teachers consisting of 6 classroom teachers and 2 study teachers. The results showed that the teacher's ability to write written test questions was initially only 2 people (20%), after the research was carried out with the first cycle of activities from 2 teachers to 8 teachers (100%), while the research activities at the end the implementation of the second cycle of activities with an average score of 69.00 and an average score of 3.80, while based on presentation it reached 94.91%. As for the stage of the second cycle of meeting 1 the teacher's ability in preparing questions through In House Training (IHT) on Google Form there was an increase of 2.14% and at the second meeting of cycle II it rose to 91.79% in the "Very Good" category. And the average score increased in the second cycle of meeting 2 to 64.25 from 61.38. While the activities of IHT participants at the second meeting of the second cycle reached 22.50, the average value of the second cycle of the second meeting reached 3.75 while the percentage-based score reached 93.75% in the "Very Good" category. So that the research can be ended at the stage of cycle II for the second meeting.

This study aims to determine whether there is a significant correlation between interest in entrepreneurship with the performance of industrial work practices in Vocational High School. There are two variables in this research, the student’s interest in entrepreneurship as a variable X and performance of the industry working practices as a variable Y. This research is a quantitative research, with research subjects are students of class XII TITL in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 enrolled in the academic year 2015/2016 which consists of two classes. This research examines the factors that are expected to serve as the cause of the present state, then these factors are investigated and analyzed. From the calculation of simple correlation analysis obtained correlation between interest in entrepreneurship with industry practice performance is 0.681. Analysis results also shows that there is a strong relationship between the interest in entrepreneurship with industrial practice performance.
