Learning is a process that must be done by every individual to get knowledge. It is considerably a fundamental element in the implementation of any education level. The success of education depends on the student learning process both within and outside the school. In formal education the learning process is inseparable from to the teaching and learning process. Both of these processes are synergized to realize the ideals of the nation in order to educate the life of the world. As learning creatures and educational practitioners, whatever related to learning is important to know. Learning is a conscious activity undertaken by individuals through training and experiences that produce behavioral changes that include the cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. While teaching and learning is a system or process of teaching subject matters that are planned, implemented, and evaluated systematically so that students can achieve the learning objectives effectively and efficiently. Three learning characteristics are: (a) learning is a conscious effort of a person, (b) learning is characterized by a change of behavior that encompasses all aspects (cognitive, affective, and psychomotor), and such changes are relatively permanent, (c) changes in behavior are derived from the interaction process with the environment and exercises. Factors that influence learning and teaching process are internal factors (physiological and psychological) and external factors (family, school and community). Five principles of learning: subsumption, organizer progressive differentiation concolidation integrative Reconciliation. Keywords: Learning process, education, environment

Behavior change is one that can be seen is student achievement is the result or level of ability that has been achieved by students after following the teaching and learning process in a certain time either in the form of behavioral changes, skills and knowledge and then will be measured and assessed which then manifested in the numbers or statements. The learning process and its results can only be observed from changes in different behaviors that were previously in a person in terms of knowledge, affective and psychomotor. Broadly speaking, the learning process is influenced by duafaktor, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors include physiological factors, ie student body and psychological factors, ie students' intelligence or intelligence, motivation, interests, attitudes, talents. External factors include the natural environment and the socio-cultural environment, while the non-social or instrumental environment, ie the curriculum, the program, the learning facilities, the teacher.

Education is an activity that is common to every human being on this earth. Education cannot be separated from all forms of human activities. The teaching and learning process is certainly a core activity in the whole process of education in school or formal education. English is a language that is commonly used in several countries, therefore knowledge and learning of English is very important for the development of children's knowledge. Introduction, and learning things in the child's environment can initiate children's interest in learning English. This activity aims to provide knowledge to children about the use of English in everyday life, when children communicate in English, children become easier to know the meaning of words and their meanings because the material is learned based on the science of direct practice. Because the concentration of children at an early age is still very minimal and uncontrollable, the most appropriate method is by learning and playing where children can understand the material well because of the learning and teaching process that attracts children's interest. With this method, the interest of children is no longer only interested in how to play or just give rewards, but children will be happy with the repetition of the things he had learned before. So, children's interest in learning will increase with regard to things he already knows.

It is debatable whether it is appropriate to assess performance in the arts. However, formal education institutions and the systems within which they operate continue to require summative assessment to take place in order to award qualifications. This chapter considers the extent to which such summative assessment systems in music determine not only what is taught but also what learners learn. The evidence suggests that any learning outcome in formal education that is not assessed is unlikely to be given priority by either learners or teachers. To optimize learning, the aims and the processes of learning, including formative, self-, and peer assessment procedures, should be aligned with summative assessment. Research addressing the roles, methods, and value of formative, self-, and peer assessment in enhancing learning is considered. A proposal is made that the most appropriate way of enhancing learning is to ensure that summative assessment procedures are authentic and have real-life relevance supporting the teaching and learning process, to ensure that learners are motivated and see the relevance of what they are learning. This might take many forms depending on musical genre, communities of practice, and the wider cultural environment.

The media is a communication tool for teacher interaction with students which is a series of teaching and learning activities in schools. In the learning process the teacher has obstacles in conveying knowledge to students. The teacher needs media to be able to help attract the attention of students so that learning objectives are achieved. Picture card learning media can help teachers effectively achieve learning objectives in the teaching and learning process. This study applies a picture card learning media to students in class V SD Negeri 4 Tanjung Aman. The aim is to find out the improvement in student learning outcomes after the teacher applies the pictorial card learning media to fifth grade students of SD Negeri 4 Tanjung Aman. In this study using a design that is the Initial Test - The Final Group Single Test (The One Group Pretest - posttest). The learning outcomes in this study were obtained by the fifth grade students before and after the implementation of the pictorial card media, to find out the improvement in the learning outcomes of the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 4 Tanjung Aman. shows that the mean or posttest average is higher than the pretest. Mean posttest 62.22 and mean pretest 46.25, so there is an increase in learning outcomes after the application of the pictorial card media to fifth grade students of SD Negeri 4 Tanjung Aman.

The objective of this research is to know new decisions about the teaching and learning process in the context of the pandemic in the state of Amazonas, Brazil. The pandemic suspended classroom classes at more than 200 schools, causing the reorganization of pedagogical practices in distance education. The result was the applicability of the Special Regime of Non-Attendance Classes adopted by the Government of Amazonas (Aula em Casa Project). It is concluded that new directions can be taken from formal education in view of this new reality.

Textbooks are indispensable in most formal education settings. However, many teachers believe weaknesses in textbooks can result in ineffective learning and teaching. This research uses a corpus-based approach to identify issues related to vocabulary with a particular focus on English textbooks in use in Omani schools. WordSmith Tools and RANGE concordance software are used to analyze these textbooks. Findings indicate that there are irregularities in vocabulary loading and that the types, tokens, density and consistency ratio show inconsistencies. Moreover, in terms of the coverage of GSL and AWL word lists, the textbooks fall short of the ideal range of 95% to 98% coverage suggested by Nation (1990, 2001). In fact, vocabulary from large percentages of the texts are not found in any of the essential word lists. The paper suggests recommendations for consistent analysis and guidance in analyzing textbooks in order to improve their quality in terms of vocabulary introduction and loading.

University recruitment websites continue to show students happily using technology in the higher education environment. Exactly how technology is used in the teaching and learning process continues to challenge and frustrate university instructors and students. A frequent depiction of college classrooms consists of an instructor lecturing from the front of the classroom and reprimanding students for talking to each other. In this paradigm, the professor is the “sage on the stage” and is the single transmitter of knowledge. Is this teaching and learning approach the most effective way to educate students? With recent discoveries about how students learn most optimally, and how technology can augment the process, a paradigm shift is required towards appropriate and intentional implementation of technology tools for engaging students to use higher-order thinking skills. This chapter explores the use and application of free digital tools that both improve and in turn enhance the learning process.

On 18 March, the WHO announced that COVID-19 was a global pandemic, and the Ministry of Health instituted a COVID-19 lockdown. After the period of restrictions ended, blended learning was initiated at the universities. The research aims to evaluate the responses of students, teachers, and quality units in the teaching and learning process by Quality Matter standards. The survey was constructed using a Google form. The research recorded positive data in most of the Quality Matter Standards (QM) in Architecture Engineering Program applied by 95%. Some weakness points were identified 5% and are discussed in this paper. The results by (QM) St1 (2.7/3), St2 (2.6/3), St3 (2.6/3), St4 (2.6/3), St5 (2.6/3), St6 (2.5/3), St7 (2.6/3), St8 (2.7/3). General conclusions are added for teachers to be applied to e-learning education.
