<p>ABSTRACT<br />Pandji Pragiwaksono during his career in stand up comedy has held four stand up comedy shows, each titled "Bhinneka Tunggal Tawa", "Merdeka Dalam Bercanda", "Mesakke Bangsaku", and "Juru Bicara". All material presented by Pandji is about the social issues that are present in the life of the Indonesian nation. Pandji hopes to provide a new perspective to the nation of Indonesia to maintain the spirit of nationalism in each stand up special. The stand up comedy material displayed by Pandji is always loaded with politics. It is also seen through some of his writings on his personal blog that always addresses socio-political issues. Anies Baswedan figure appeared in several writings of Pandji Pragiwaksono during the first round of the pilgrim campaign of DKI Jakarta in 2017. Pandji held a tour entitled "Juru Bicara (Spokesperson)" as well as he was a spokesperson for the candidate pair of governor and candidate for vice-governor Anies Baswedan and Sandiaga Uno. Every material stand up comedy brought by Pandji always discussed again through his personal blog. Pandji discusses that the solution of any social problems that exist in Indonesia is still lack of quality education in Indonesia. The solution is to need a figure who can bring these changes to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. the production of political interest discourse behind every material stand up Pandji Pragiwaksono which packs the value of nationalism as social identity becomes a commodity behind the tetralogy of stand up tour Pandji Pragiwaksono This study aims to show through AWK Teun A. van Dijk critically, political interests are sold with packing the value of nationalism as an ideological commodity as a commodification process in producing political campaign discourse through the process of reproduction of stand up comedy material from every stand up comedy special tour performed by Pandji Pragiwaksono.<br /><strong>Keywords :</strong> Stand up comedy, Commodification, Nasionalism, Critical Discourse</p><p><br />ABSTRAK<br />Pandji Pragiwaksono selama menekuni karirnya di bidang stand up comedy telah menggelar empat tour stand up comedy show yang masing-masing berjudul “Bhinneka Tunggal Tawa”, “Merdeka Dalam Bercanda”, “Mesakke Bangsaku”, dan “Juru Bicara”. Seluruh materi yang dibawakan oleh Pandji seputar isu-isu sosial yang hadir dalam kehidupan bangsa Indonesia. Pandji berharap dapat memberikan perspektif baru kepada bangsa Indonesia untuk menjaga semangat nasionalisme dalam setiap stand up special-nya. Materi stand up comedy yang ditampilkan oleh Pandji selalu sarat dengan dunia politik. Hal ini juga terlihat melalui beberapa karya tulisannya di blog pribadinya yang selalu membahas isu-isu sosial politik. Sosok Anies Baswedan muncul dalam beberapa tulisan Pandji Pragiwaksono selama masa kampanye pilgub DKI Jakarta 2017 putaran pertama. Pandji menggelar tur-nya yang diberi judul “Juru Bicara” sekaligus ia saat itu menjadi juru bicara dari pasangan calon gubernur dan calon wakil gubernur Anies Baswedan dan Sandiaga Uno. Setiap materi stand up comedy yang dibawakan oleh Pandji selalu dibahas kembali melalui blog pribadinya. Pandji membahas bahwa solusi dari setiap permasalahan sosial yang ada di Indonesia adalah masih kurangnya kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia. Solusinya adalah butuh sosok yang dapat membawa perubahan tersebut untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia. produksi wacana kepentingan politik di balik setiap materi stand up Pandji Pragiwaksono yang mengemas nilai nasionalisme sebagai identitas sosial menjadi sebuah komoditas di balik tetralogi stand up tour Pandji Pragiwaksono. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menunjukkan melalui AWK Teun A. van Dijk secara kritis, kepentingan politik yang dijual dengan mengemas nilai nasionalisme sebagai sebuah komoditas ideologi sebagai sebuah proses komodifikasi dalam memproduksi wacana kampanye politik melalui proses reproduksi materi stand up comedy dari setiap pertunjukkan stand up comedy special tour yang dibawakan oleh Pandji Pragiwaksono.</p><p><strong>Kata Kunci:</strong> Stand up comedy, Komodifikasi, Nasionalisme, Wacana Kritis</p>

The article is dedicated to the role of the knowledge-producing sector for the development of innovation economy in Finland. History and structure of the Finnish innovation system, as well as main characters of knowledge-producing sector as a part of the system are in the center of investigation. The author comes to the conclusion that it was the social state model in Finland that made it possible to create the knowledge-producing sector able either to keep a high quality of education of all levels or to maintain a culture of networking diffusion of knowledge and innovation.

The Social Media has emerged as a new platform for discourses. It has no doubt provided people with easier and faster accessibility to information and has become an outlet for them to share their views on socio-political issues. It has also been observed that negative and hate comments seem to dominate on social networks used for social and political communication. Anchored on Public Sphere Theory, focus group discussions were conducted with undergraduate youths in South-east Nigeria examined on the issue of President Mohammadu Buhari’s referring to Nigerian youths as lazy, while speaking at the Commonwealth Business Forum in Westminster on 18th April 2018. This article, therefore, explored the opinions advanced in the discourse based on the principles of freedom of expression and responsibility. The study suggests that while Twitter platform was more objective in the discussion of the issue of the day because it allows the use of filters to ensure that contents posted on the platform adhere strictly to rules and fair usage; Facebook and Whatsapp trailed with abuses and hate comments. The study recommended that owners of blogs and media houses who now post their contents on the social media should coordinate comments on such platforms and continue developing mechanisms that work to regulate the quality of posted content.

Linguistically, the word ‘language’ has shifted into ‘discourse’ which is a social phenomenon not only to express the thoughts but also to reflect the mindset and contexts of a specific community. The purpose of this study is to examine the slogans written on Pakistani automobiles and to understand the logic behind the social and cultural affiliations of these slogans. Pakistani culture of the art of making pictures and written phrases, poetic verses and imperative sentences on vehicles is famous all over the world. The study has analysed the writings found on vehicles, and although these writings might look trivial on the automobiles, they address various social issues. The Three-Dimensional Model of Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) by Fairclough (2001) is used as a theoretical framework that explains the study at three levels: lexical, syntactic patterns, interpretations, and social practices. The discourses written on the vehicles are characterised into different categories, which are life’s mission statements, loud messages, mind baffling messages, everyday life annoyances, provoking statements, and religious looms. Twenty images and pictures have been captured from vehicles as a random sample of this study. The results reveal the mindset behind these discourses. They are used to highlight social issues which Pakistan faces, being a developing country. In short, the study discloses the strong link between the vehicles and the people using them to convey messages to the society which can bring harmony among the public. The current study is limited to only Pakistani motor vehicles.

This chapter focuses on the relationship between Judah Loew's theological constructs and his program for social reform. By intertwining his mystical theology with his social dissent, Judah Loew follows a pattern characteristic of the Western mystical tradition in general and of the Jewish mystical tradition in particular. The chapter then explores Loew's views on contemporary social issues, specifically the quality of rabbinic leadership, and the theory, practice, and content of Jewish education. It is clear that his social criticism, his mystical theology, and his personal concerns, rather than being separate and disjoined, coalesce to form a comprehensive whole. One may not separate Loew the educator from Loew the mystic. One may not disassociate Loew the social reformer from Loew the theologian. One may not disjoin the mystical theology of the Maharal of Prague, nor his social dissent, from the man whose legacy they are.

Popular literature is not bad literature, its standard does not lie in its inability to meet the demands of criticism, but on what benefits it gives to the reader. The study of popular literary structures is not important and interesting because the formulas of popular literary structures have definite and consistent criteria. However, popular sociological literary research provides another important and interesting possibility. The sociological facets of popular literature both inside and outside of the text are vast areas of literary research and have a wide range of issues. The production, distribution, and reception aspects are the areas of popular literary research outside the text whose phenomenon is constantly evolving. The social aspect in the text is the area of literary research that has unlimited problems as the object of research material, in line with the productivity of popular literature writing which is very high and fast. Popular literature as an object of research is very rich in materials and data, especially sociological materials and data that are closely related to social issues, both in the text and outside the text. The quality of literary research is actually not determined by the object of research material, but is determined by the formal object and the proper cultivation of its research and the use of appropriate theories and methods so as to produce original, important, and useful findings for the sciences and society.

Every person – regardless of place of residence, age, sex, or social status – needs an authority figure, someone they can trust, someone who serves as their source of inspiration and a beacon of hope. However, numerous contemporary researches point out to the existence of a crisis in terms of personal examples, the decline in the quality of education both at home and at school, and the worrisome rise in consumerist and egotistical attitudes which results in pathologies of various shape and form and consequently leads to the general deg¬radation of society. The social life transformations necessitate the introduction of changes to education and the image and authority of a teacher. The purpose of this article is to highlight the role of authority in education, show teacher as a figure of authority as perceived by pupils and their parents, and their expectations and preferences as well as to attempt to define the future of authority in the changing world.

Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Islamic Boarding School is a combination of Religion and general science. This Islamic boarding school still maintains its traditional system by using the method of sorogan and wetonan in carrying out the process of its education system especially in the study of classical books while the quality of education in the Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Islamic Boarding School is quite good. Educational programs in the Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Islamic Boarding School, namely formal education programs including Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) and Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs), non-formal education in the form of diniyah education for 6 years for SD/MI graduates and 3-year program for graduates MTs. The social program includes preaching and social activities of students. One of the factors supporting the implementation of the education system in the Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Islamic Boarding School which is urgent and important is the building. From year to year, Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Islamic Boarding School experienced a development starting with buying land or land until now it has become a building that can be occupied and to study Islam. The inhibiting factor in the implementation of the Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Islamic Boarding School is the most urgent matter in terms of dormitory because, with the increasing number of students, a large place for students to live or live is needed.

Introduction. Today, one of the criteria for assessing the quality of education is the opinion of students about educational services. Undergraduates enrolled in distance learning programs represent a specific student audience. Features of this category form a social portrait that has the information potential for organizing an effective educational process adapted to the “target audience”. Methodology and sources. In the academic year 2018–2019, the author conducted an empirical case study through an anonymous online survey of graduate students of the correspondence department of the first year of study. Results and discussion. As a result of the survey, respondents have received answers characterizing the peculiarities of their life, sociocultural environment, professional activity and factors of formation of motives of educational activity. The information obtained is presented in tables, which allowed to form a “numerical” outline of the social portrait of an extramural student. The result of an empirical study was a description of the collective image of a student studying in absentia in a magistracy. Active professional activity, focus on success, limited time resources, etc., determined the content of wishes for improving the conditions and process of educational activity. The main adjustments should relate to the effective planning of the educational process, methodological support of classroom and extracurricular activities, providing comfortable conditions for a long stay in an educational institution and communication with fellow students.Conclusion. The social portrait of students contains information about their typical representatives, the sociocultural environment of life.  Regular monitoring of the dynamics of socially significant characteristics of students allows you to quickly make adjustments that improve the quality of education.

The study compares representations of teachers in the Czech broadsheet Mladá fronta and the British broadsheet The Daily Telegraph, aiming to reveal their possible impact on the level of public respect towards teachers. The methodology employed is critical discourse analysis, combining an investigation of semantic macrostructures and recurrent transitivity patterns. It is revealed that both newspapers call attention to problems regarding the teaching profession, advocating social change and higher job prestige. The social significance of a teacher is enhanced in both newspapers by allocating a teacher not only the role of a transmitter of knowledge but also a moral guide concerned with social issues. The main difference between the two broadsheets is that The Daily Telegraph foregrounds teachers’ wrongdoings, while Mladá fronta highlights teachers’ accomplishments. This seems to be mainly due to the inclusion of a section with regional content in the Czech broadsheet.

Wajib belajar (Wajar) 12 tahun merupakan hak bagi seluruh rakyat Indonesia. Pelaksanaan Wajar 12 tahun  diharapkan mampu mendorong peningkatan mutu lulusan dan mutu pendidikan di Indonesia. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemahaman wajar 12 tahun melalui pendampingan yang dilakukan di Sekolah Bawang Banjarmasin. Pemilihan lokasi didasari oleh peserta didik di Sekolah Bawang didominasi oleh anak gelandangan, kuli angkut, maupun remaja putus sekolah. Pelaksanaan pendampingan dilakukan setiap hari sabtu pada 21 April dan 12 Mei 2018. Penyampaian materi digunakan metode ceramah bervariasi serta mengedepankan prinsip pendekatan saintifik dalam kurikulum 2013. Hasil pengabdian dipaparkan, yakni; 1) peserta didik yang mengenyam pendidikan di Sekolah Bawang Banjarmasin didominasi oleh masyarakat yang kurang mampu bekerja di Pasar Lima sebagai juru parkir, kuli angkut, buruh kupas bawang, 2) Sekolah Bawang Banjarmasin banyak memiliki buku yang tidak up to date sehingga tidak menarik perhatian peserta didik, dan 3) lingkungan di Sekolah Bawang Banjarmasin sangat kumuh. Hal ini dikarenakan lokasi berdekatan dengan pasar. Pengabdian masyarakat memberikan motivasi bagi peserta didik yang belajar di Sekolah Bawang karena mereka diberikan pengalaman belajar dengan metode yang beragam. Pengabdian masyarakat sebagai langkah konkret bentuk kepedulian sosial dari lembaga Program Studi Pendidikan IPS FKIP ULM.The 12-year compulsory education is a right for all Indonesian people. Implementation of the 12-year Fair is expected to be able to encourage improvement in the quality of graduates and the quality of education in Indonesia. This article aims to describe a reasonable understanding of 12 years through mentoring conducted at the Sekolah Bawang, Banjarmasin. The location selection is based on students in Sekolah Bawang which are dominated by homeless children, porters, and teenagers who drop out of school. The assistance is carried out every Saturday on April 21 and May 12, 2018. The submission of material used varied lecture methods and emphasizes the principles of the scientific approach in the 2013 curriculum. Service results are presented, namely; 1) students who study in Sekolah Bawang are dominated by people who are less able to work in Pasar Lima as parking attendants, porters, onion peel workers, 2) Sekolah Bawang have many books that are not up to date so that they do not attract the attention of participants students, and 3) the environment in Sekolah Bawang is very dirty. This is because the location is close to the market. Community service motivates students who study at Sekolah Bawang because they are given learning experiences with a variety of methods. Community service as a concrete step in the form of social care from the Social Studies Department FKIP ULM.
