The purpose of this paper is to examine some beliefs about the ethical justification of negative eugenics, i.e. a policy of limiting the frequency of childbearing by women prone to give birth to children with genetic defects. The main thrust of the paper is to define and defend of a particular duty v i s – á – v i s the future generations, viz. the duty to provide the future persons with healthy genetic endowment. In the first part of the paper the concept of the ‘obligation to future generation’ is considered. In the second part the putative right of children to acquire healthy genetic endowment is critically assessed from the moral point of view. The author focuses on important reservations concerning moral rights of not even potentially existing persona and the subsequent difficulty in establishing when such rights are infringed. The last part of the paper deals with the possibility of justifying our moral obligations to the future generations by consulting our direct moral duties, and bypassing the controversial issues of the rights of non-existent persons. The author concludes: one of the most credible methods of justifying the objectives of negative eugenics is the acceptance of the depersonalized version of the utilitarian principle (also called globally conceived principle of utility) which stipulates that the sum of pain in the world be minimized and the sum of happiness be maximized. In the same vein the traditional concept of the ‘sanctity’ of human life should be revised in the light of the principle that human life presupposes consciousness and dignity. When these two assumptions are made, it can be shown that due to the application of genetic control the future generations will live a happier life and suffer from fewer diseases than they would if we decided to ban genetic control.

In Islam, leader has been exemplified by Prophet Muhammad, but many of today leaders are far away from the examples provided by him. They ignore the most important essences of being a good leader. Communication is an integral part of human life because our movements are always associated by communication. At this point, the communication is in terms of Islamic communication, i.e. communication of moral al-karimah or ethics. Communication of morality means the communication that comes from the Quran and hadith (sunnah of the Prophet). Islamic communication is a new form of phrase and thought emerged in academic research started from about three decades ago. The emergence of Islamic communication thoughts and activism is based on the failure of the philosophy, paradigm and implementation of western communication which further optimizes the pragmatic, materialistic and capitalist media values. This failure has negative implications especially on the Muslim community throughout the world due to the different religions, cultures and lifestyles of the (western) countries that are as the producers of the sciences. There are two kinds of communication consisting of: (1) direct communication (face to face) either between individual with individual, or individual with group, or group with group, group with society, hence influence the individual relation (interpersonal) included in understanding the communication; and (2) mass communication that is a process of communication made through the mass media with various purposes of communication and to convey information to a wide audience. The basics of communication principles must be mastered. By mastering the principles of communication in Islamic society, it can be able to organize Islamic education and Islamic communication to form a high-quality communication in the society, professionals, and noble character.

The article discusses the development of modern society. In the author’s opinion, the prediction of society development is not possible due to the spontaneity of social processes. The contemporary social development is characterized by transition values: strategic instability, permanent crisis, decay of morality, degradation of the ecological environment, increase of international terrorism, danger of nuclear war, etc. Each epoch, including an epoch of uncertainty, gives rise to its own mechanisms for regulating world development, which are based on the historical memory of mankind, on the acknowledgment of the value of peaceful coexistence and the acceptance of human life as the highest value. Preventing war is the main value of world development. The crucial decisions of country’s further development are dictated by the security of the state. The author demonstrates that in our time the ideal of progress evolves from the concept of accelerated innovation changes into the ideal of sustainable development, which presumes the formation of new values as a condition for the transition to new strategies of civilizational development. The current system of economic growth has its own value foundation – a consumer society. The preservation of a consumer society or the transition to alternative development scenarios largely depend on the achievements of the social sciences and humanities. The future will come without our will, but are we ready to accept this alien and unpredictable future? That is why we cannot passively await the future. The future will not arise by itself, the future will be what we make it.

The extant remains from both Classical and Hellenistic periods portray a body of a Greek woman in all its beauty. They do not cover what was once revealed. On the contrary, they bring the female beauty to the centre of attention. This freedom of expression gradually disappears and a body is exposed only when portraying a woman with colourful past to show her failures. This paper introduces Greek tombstone inscriptions that captured female beauty for the future generations. Upon this, a question arises: what do these inscriptions mean to a casual reader? What is their purpose? What value did a beautiful woman have in the ancient society? Was she somewhat different from those around her? How did emerging Christianity react to the Greek ideal of beauty? What ideas were adopted and what ideas were firmly rejected? These and many other questions have arisen during the study of the inscriptions that engage people even today.

We say that the future city will be an automatic system for human like a science fiction films which means the 'Ubiquitous City or Intelligent City'. Actually, so many science fiction movies contain the wish or demand of human life. Generally, they show the convenience things for human life, the ideal image of future city, the solution technology of human being, and so on. In this world, every built thing is the product of human desire. Meanwhile, the scientific scenes in the movies are also the product of human desire. The reason of the above, this study tries to analogize image of city future by analyzing scene in the science fiction films and human action desire to make the future image. Eventually, this study is going to make 'human life scenario' in the future city which consisted with mixed scientific scene in the science fiction films and sorted by human desire for forecasting the future city. This scenario may apply for forecasting the real future city.

The priority role of culture in formation of the ideal of the future is proved, the technology of this process is revealed. Culture is considered as an environment for the preservation and transformation of spiritual heritage. Major changes involve cultural change, which, as a rule, are the result of rethinking and updating fundamental life meanings and basic values. In modern conditions, there is a spontaneous search for possible solutions to pressing problems, the erosion of life meanings, including such fundamental concepts as citizenship, national, professional and religious identity. Such an uncertain situation cannot remain indefinitely. Culture, having adsorbed possible development options, makes its choice of the ideal of the future. Today, most postSoviet countries have no vision of the future, and living without a concept of the future is meaningless.Concepts are analyzed that could explain the problems of building a common vision of the ideal of the future, points of growth of new values that are formed in the depths of the old culture. It presents benchmarks and goals that the majority of the population would like to achieve. The response to new risks is the adequate development of national culture, which naturally is in dialogue with world culture, the formation of new meanings and values in life. Since the future of humanity is multivariate and not unambiguous. The humanities are not keeping pace with too rapid change. Moreover, in addition to benefits, modern technologies bring new problems to a person, opening up wide opportunities for information violence, manipulation of public consciousness. The purpose of the article is to reveal the priority of culture in the formation of the ideal of the future. It seems that it is culture that is the sphere of the supra-biological programs of human life, where the ideal of the future is formed.
