The great task of education institutions or schools, particularly primary education that is shaping the personality of students through character education. Education in shaping the character of the student is a national educational purposes. One of the characters that are now considered to be relatively weak is the character of independence. The research purpose of this study was to determine the independence of character formation of students in SDIT Al Khairiyah Bogor through the implementation of Islamic full day school. This research method is descriptive qualitative. Based on the research that students' independence of character formation through the implementation of Islamic full day school in SDIT Al Khairiyah showed 40,2% of students independently on the emotional aspect, 30,9% of students independently on behavioral aspects and 57,8% of students independently on the value aspect.

Character building is an important step in the process of education, especially Islamic education. The occurrence of various forms of immoral behavior from the community, especially students is an increasingly problematic education today. Character building needs to be done early on to students, both within the family and educational institutions. This paper is intended to look at the process of character building in one of the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah institutions in Yogyakarta that applies the Fullday school model with a boarding school education base. The formulation of the problem to be answered is about how the process of implementing the Fullday school system in fostering children's character and how to foster children's character with boarding-based values. The results of the study show that character building through the Fullday school program can run more effectively because the teacher's guidance to students is more intensive. In addition, the planting of the values of the pesantrenan can provide students with supplies, such as serving the parents, living a simple and thrifty life, discipline, and so on. Character education and coaching in MI Nurul Ummah is the parents' choice because education obtained by children outside the home can be guaranteed.

The importance of implementing full day school in character building in elementary school students makes the writer interested in making a literature review. Character education is important to be developed and internalized immediately, because it has a noble enough purpose for the provision of students’ lives so that they are always ready to respond to all the dynamics of life with full responsibility. The research method used is literature study. The purpose of this literature review is to obtain a theoretical basis that can support problem solving regarding the application of full day school in character building for elementary school students. The results of this research shows that full day school gives positive impact for the children’s growth especially on establishing the character values since the early stage started from the elementary school.

AbstrakTulisan ini akan membahas tentang eksistensi pendidikan karakter di sekolah dalam konsep full day school. Sekolah merupakan lembaga yang berperan sebagai penyelenggara pendidikan dan pengembangan ilmu, pengetahuan, teknologi dan seni. Tujuan pendidikan ialah membentuk kepribadian, kemandirian, keterampilan social dan karakter. Oleh sebab itu, berbagai program dirancang dan diimplementasikan untuk mewujudkan tujuan pendidikan tersebut, terutama dalam rangka pembinaan karakter. Full day school akhir-akhir ini yang menjadi kontro versi dikalangan masyarakat pun menempati tempat ternyaman. The research is to discover the teacher’s readiness on applying full day school program declared by the government. Qualitative research method is used to grow descriptive data in for of interview. The findings clarifies that SMA N 1 Reteh is well-organized in applying full day school program to develop students’ potential by serving meaningful activities, in order to create generation of full of competency, attractiveness, and able to compete in the worldwide, as the 2013 curriculum persistence – building character education.

Abstrak: Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pembinaan dan pembentukan karakter siswa (taruna) jurusan keperawatan di SMK Negeri 13 Malang. Penelitian menggunakan statistik deskriptif, untuk mengungkap respons sekolah terhadap program full day school dalam rangka pembinaan dan pembentukan karakter siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa respons sekolah (kepala sekolah, guru pembina) termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik, sedangkan instruktur TNI AL termasuk dalam kategori baik. Perolehan nilai karakter keperawatan siswakelas X yaitu 13,63% kategori memuaskan; 31,82%kategori sangat baik; dan 54,54% kategori baik. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa sekolah dan siswa sama-sama memberikan respons yang positif terhadap kegiatan full day school. Kata Kunci:full day school, karakter, siswa FULL DAY SCHOLL IN THE FORMATION OF CHARACTER OF STUDENT SMKN 13 MALANG CITY Abstract: The estuary of education with a dignified and good quality is creation of noble character from the student. This study aims to describe the development and character formation of student (Taruna) majoring in nursing at SMK Negeri 13 Kota Malang. Research using descriptive technique to uncover the responsse of the school ro a full dat school program (FDS) in the framework of development and character formation of the student. The result showed that the responsse of the school (principals teachers) included in the very good category, while the Navy instructors included in good category. The character values of nursing students of class X is 13,63% which is a statisfactory category; 31,82 as very good category; and 54,54 has good category. Thus concluded that the shcool and students a like responsded positively to full day school activies. Future students recommended to obtain information about the character output of graduates in the workplace or in the community as an input to evaluate the FDS program. Corruption eradication in Indonesia is still not optimal and still prioritizes repressive actions against corruption cases that have occurred. The implementation of such efforts is ineffective in eradicating corruption because corruption has taken root in the legal culture of society. One of the ways that can be implemented in efforts to eradicate corruption is to prevent corruption which can be done by providing anti-corruption education, especially for students at the primary education level. Primary education is the focus of providing anti-corruption education because it is at this level that the character building of a person, and anti-corruption education is actually character education.                             Keywords : Corruption Prevention, Corruption Crime, Anti-Corruption Education.

Abstract. This research is motivated by the process of forming the character of discipline, responsibility and independence through the habituation and exemplary program in Kindergarten A. One of the keys is to inculcate habituation and example to students so that character building is related to creating positive things. Therefore, the formation of character is very important to change attitudes through habituation and exemplary. Based on the results of observations made, the character formation of students in TK A Pamekar Budi Enough. The problems examined in this study, namely how to prepare the process of forming the character of discipline, responsibility and independence through the habituation and exemplary program. Related to this problem, this study aims to identify the steps that the data do through the habituation and exemplary program. This research method uses descriptive analytic method. The data collection was carried out using observation interview techniques and documentation studies. The results of this study indicate that the formation of the character of discipline, responsibility and independence through the habituation and exemplary program carried out by schools by implementing and modeling is carried out at various stages. In character building in Pamekar Budi Kindergarten A, it can be successful or fulfill development as expected. Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh proses pembentukan karakter disiplin, tanggungjawab dan kemandirian melalui program pembiasaan dan keteladan di Tk A. salah satu kuncinya adalah menanamkan pembiasaan dan keteladanan kepada peserta didik agar dalam pembentukan karakter kaitannya dengan menciptakan hal yang positif. Oleh sebab itu, pembentukan karakter sangatlah penting untuk merubah sikap melalui pembiasaan dan keteladanan. Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang dilakukan, pembentukan karakter peserta didik di Tk A Pamekar Budi Cukup. Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini, yaitu bagaimana persiapan proses pembentukan karakter disiplin, tanggungjawab dan kemandirian melalui program pembiasaan dan keteladanan. Berkaitan dengan masalah tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi langkah-langkah yang dilakukan data melalui program pembiasaan dan keteladan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan pun dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembentukan karakter disiplin, tanggungjawab dan kemandirian melalui program pembiasaan dan keteladan yang dilakukan sekolah dengan cara menerapkan dan mencontohkan ini dilakukan dengan berbagai tahapan. Dalam pembentukan karakter di TK A Pamekar Budi dapat berhasil dengan baik atau memenuhi berkembang sesuai harapan.

Abstract: The development of the globalization era not only has positive impacts but also negative impacts. It is important to strengthen students' character because globalization hurts the development of the character of the young generation. This study aims to describe the implementation of full-day school policy by instilling the value of strengthening character education (PPK) in SMAN 2 Katingan Hilir. The method in this study is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques are observation, interview, and documentation. The informant selection technique in this study uses purposive sampling, which includes the School Principal, Vice Principal in the Curriculum and Student Affairs, Islamic Agana Education teacher, Citizenship Education teacher, and 5 students. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of full-day school policies by planting PPK values in SMAN 2 Katingan Hilir is carried out through extracurricular, co-curricular and extracurricular activities. Two PPK values are the focus of this research, namely cooperation that can be seen from the students to always work together to apply to help each other, hand in hand to clean and maintain the cleanliness of the school environment. While the value of independence seen from students in doing everything so it is not easy to depend on others.Keywords: Implementation of policies, Full Day School, Strengthening Character Education Abstrak: Perkembangan era globalisasi tidak hanya memberikan dampak yang positif tetapi juga dampak negatif. Penting untuk memberikan penguatan karakter siswa karena globalisasi memiliki dampak negatif terhadap perkembangan karakter generasi muda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi kebijakan full day school dengan penanaman nilai penguatan pendidikan karakter (PPK) di SMAN 2 Katingan Hilir. Metode dalam penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik pemilihan informan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling, yaitu meliputi Kepala Sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum dan kesiswaan, guru Pendidikan Agana Islam, guru Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan, dan 5 orang siswa Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi kebijakan full day school dengan penanaman nilai PPK di SMAN 2 Katingan Hilir dilakukan melalui kegiatan intrakurikuler, ko-kurikuler, dan ekstrakurikuler. Ada dua nilai PPK yang menjadi fokus penelitian ini yaitu gotong royong yang dapat dilihat dari diri peserta didik untuk selalu berkerja sama menerapkan untuk saling membantu satu sama lain, saling bahu membahu membersihkan dan menjaga kebersihan lingkungan sekolah. Sedangkan nilai mandiri dilihat dari peserta didik dalam melakukan segala hal agar tidak mudah bergantung pada orang lain.Kata kunci: Implementasi kebijakan, Full Day School, Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter

Abstract This research describes several management of MI Nurul Ummah in order to improve the quality of education in the school, the type of research in this paper is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used by interview and also with various sources both from relevant books and journals. From the results of the writing, it is known that there are some policies implemented by MI Nurul Ummah management (1) Assisting the reading of Asmaul Husna, intends to educate students characters to love Allah through Asmaul Husna, (2) The implementation of Full Day School, the application of this policy is expected to make it easier to supervise students in the school, (3) Dhuha prayer in congregation, get children to pray in congregation and a good character building, (4) The training of teachers to upgrade teachers knowledge in order to produce a good quality of education. While that which is the inhibiting factors of the policy namely internal factors (Funds, Teachers, Students) external factors (Parents of Students, Society)
