This study aims to determine the effect of using Student Worksheets on student achievement in Islamic subjects. This study uses quantitative research methods using correlation techniques. The population as well as the sample in this study were all students of SMP Laut Dendang, totaling 40 students. Data collection techniques using interview techniques, questionnaires, and observations. Correlation calculation is done by testing the hypothesis with the Product Moment correlation formula. The results showed that there was a positive influence between the use of student worksheets and student achievement in Islamic subjects, this is indicated by the results of calculations where rcount= 0.719 while rtable= 0.302. This calculation also means that the teaching and learning process of teachers and students can make the most of the Student Worksheets so that student learning achievement will increase significantly.

The pandemic of COVID-19 has forced the teachers and students to hold the teaching and learning remotely. All the process of learning was conducted online via various mobile applications. Students widely use smartphones as a medium to receive learning materials, join online classes, and study. However, it was questioned whether students are engaged with their reading materials when they have to read the texts on screen or digitally and learn from them. It is expected that the use of digital devices has influenced students' reading engagement, especially when the reading is to learn. This study aims to find out about the students' engagement in reading digital texts during online learning. The study collects the data from self-report questionnaires, interviews, and observation. The result shows that students do not experience behavioral and affective engagement as well as a negative response while they are reading the texts onscreen during online learning.

The subjects were 99 elementary school students who were divided into treatment groups (two groups of intervention) and a control group. The data were collected using a questionnaire of knowledge, attitudes and behavior. Data analysis used paired t-test and analysis of variance (ANOVA) with significance level of 95% (p <0.05). ResultsThe characteristics of the study subjects in all three groups before the intervention were normally distributed. Paired t-test results showed that the ludo game and interactive lectures can improve knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors. However, there was no significant difference of knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors through Ludo compared to health education through interactive lectures in health education delivery. ConclusionLudo game and interactive lectures together can effectively improve the knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of elementary school students. There are important responsibilities expected from primary school students. The most important of these are the learning of reading, writing and arithmetic. There is a “psychological readiness” aspect besides reading, writing and arithmetic in order to be ready for the school. In this study, among the first-grade students, those who were academically ready were compared with those who were psychologically ready. In this research, screening model is used from quantitative research methods. Screening surveys allow the answers of questions such as “what, where, when, how often, at what level, how” (Wellington, 2006). The population of the research was composed of the children who started to the first class of primary schools in the provincial center of Ankara and the provincial center of Agri in the 2016-2017 academic year. The sample group of the study consisted of 327 students. 80 girls and 75 male students out of 322 students are chosen from the schools in the provincial center of Ankara, and 87 girls and 80 boys are chosen from the schools in provincial center of Agri. While the number of literate students at the basic level is 95 before the school starts, only 46 students are able to link shoe laces. While a total of 255 students knew all the main colors before the school started, only 31 students knew their home address. In addition, 90 students were found to have problems complied with the school rules. 39 students are shy in the classroom.
