Besides observation there are also unstructured interviews and documentation. The sample in this study were students of Grade V-A Elementary School 35 Bengkulu City, which was one local or one class through the learning outcomes obtained from both cognitive, affective and psychomotor. Where the presentation of data uses data analysis techniques that include: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing / verification. From this research, it was found that the application of pianika musical instruments was very effective in learning Arts and Skills. Of the 30 students, 12 people got good learning outcomes. Where the 12 students understood the pianika playing technique. How to play pianika include how to hold; How to Blow; Runaway; and the Tone / Solmization Region. Furthermore, this study looked at how students play pianika in accordance with the techniques taught, so that the results obtained from 30 people who became the object of this research netted 12 students with grades in the range 12-16. Students who reached this value limit can be said to succeed in 12 people and students who scored below that standard still did not succeed at 18 people.

Kata Kunci: media pembelajaran interaktif, teknik pemesinan bubut Abstract: This study aims to: (1) Determine student responses to the quality of interactive learning media on learning Lathe Machining Techniques. (2) Knowing the effectiveness of interactive learning media on learning of Machining Lathe in students of Machining Engineering expertise program. This type of research is development research. Data about the quality of this development product was collected by a questionnaire and analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that; (1) Lathe machining engineering subject matter expert test is in very good qualification (88.92%), (2) learning design expert test is in very good qualification (85.21%), (3) software engineering expert test is in in very good qualifications (84.03%), (4) individual trials were in very good qualifications (88.75%), (5) small group trials were in very good qualifications (91.35%) and (5 ) field trials are in very good qualifications (88.31%). Hypothesis testing results prove that there are differences between student learning outcomes using interactive learning media with student learning outcomes using textbooks. This is indicated by the results of data processing obtained by tcount of 4.68 and ttable of 1.67 at a confidence level of 95 percent. Then it is obtained that tcount> ttable. It was concluded that student learning outcomes using interactive learning media with an effectiveness of 72.77%. higher than student learning outcomes taught by learning to use textbooks with an effectiveness of 62.13%. Keywords: interactive learning media, lathe machining techniques

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of classical music to improved Mathematics learning outcomes in high grade IV, V, and VI in Binakheir Islamic Elementary School, period 2011-2012. The method used in this study is a quasi experimental, using design one-group pretest-posttest design. With the amount of research samples as many as 90 students. Students' scores in mathematics problems is obtained through data analysis techniques used to test the hypothesis is to test-t, with alpha = 0,05. Based on data analysis using t-test with significance t (0,000) < alpha set (0,05), then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. This study therefore concludes which is classical music has a significant impact on improved student learning outcomes in mathematics higher grade IV, V, and VI elementary school.

MI teachers especially those who teach Islamic Religious Education will have to do with the morals of students, where the benchmark of the final results of PAI education is the application of PAI in the daily lives of students, the success or failure of students in PAI learning can be seen from the attitudes of students, research using the research method of literature by using content analysis techniques from the literature. PAI teacher must know the characteristics of MI students, know the change in behavior from learning outcomes, learning achievement, teacher competence, and also must be able to understand and learn about how a good PAI teacher, so that when the PAI teacher already knows and even masters it, the PAI teacher can improve its quality, so that it can be used as a foundation to sustain the change in attitude of students in primary schools especially the scope of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah.

The chapter has two main objectives: i) To analyze the quality of elementary education in West Bengal in terms of the learning achievement in mathematics, reading and writing and the inequality among students across different groups. ii) To analyze the factors influencing the performance of the students in mathematics and language. Using secondary data from the Government of West Bengal's Utkarsha Abhiyan for 123980 students of class 4 across 12,912 schools it was observed that on average girls significantly outperform boys in all three subjects. Moreover, the inequality in learning outcomes is lesser for the girls than that of boys. Schools with basic infrastructural facilities have performed better. The Tobit Regression analysis indicates that various school-level and environmental factors have a significant impact on performances. Interestingly, funds per student and the gender of the teacher in primary education turned out to be insignificant. The chapter focuses on the fact that merely increasing funds does not ensure improvement in learning outcomes.

NCTM's development of the Curriculum and Evaluation Standards for School Mathematics (NCTM 1989) and the recent companion document, Professional Standards for Teaching Mathematics (NCTM 1991), is an extraordinary achievement. At a time when many agree that we urgently need change in mathematics education, these sets of standards project an exciting vision of what mathematics learning can be and how all students can develop “mathematical power.” They establish a broad framework to guide reform efforts and challenge everyone interested in the quality of school mathematics programs to work collaboratively to use them as a basis for change. How will we meet this challenge? The Editorial Panel believes that translating that vision into reality at the elementary school level will be possible only if elementary school teachers are involved in taking leadership roles as agents of change.
